CHAPTER 2

UNHOLY DEPTHS

Both Ami and Urawa they are both in some giant mobile base on wheels, it soon arrives at it 's destination as it passes by a fence that has been bombed which had a no trespassing sign and other instructions from the government. London he is driving the big mobile base and there are a few people that are in dark paramilitary black helmets with black military like clothing, boots and glove which don't reveal much to anything as their simply maintaining the computer monitors and on their shoulder they each have a symbol which is a crest with a demon's head with ram horns, it's the symbol of the Order of the Inferno Scepter.

Gideon he then walks toward both Urawa and Ami both in chains and sitting on a two seater chair, both looking in silence at Gideon as he approaches.

Gideon he then has a slight look of glee on his face, he then adjusts his hat.

Gideon says, "Well kids we're almost there, now are there any more questions."

Both maintain their silence and Gideon then he looks at Urawa.

Gideon says, "Oh, come now Ami I don't have to be psychic to know one of the questions you've been dying to ask me."

Ami then breaks his silence as it doesn't do much good and just wants Gideon to stop talking.

Ami says, "How were you able to find and access the facility?"

Gideon then has a little smirk.

Gideon says, "Well that's two questions but I'll answer them for you darlin as it's still several minutes till showtime.

Gideon then sits on one of the seats still facing them and then folds his arms and talks.

Gideon says, "I'll just say when you find enough of the right people sworn to secrecy and press that right button to make them squeal, then bribe and make a deal with enough crooked politicians and government organizations, as well as liquidate anyone to everyone that doesn't want to play ball, well you get the jist of it, oh and if you're thinking of trying to find evidence against me forget it, all gone?

Urawa says, "But according to the legend, they poured cement to cover up those lower levels, so no one ever enters."

Gideon nods.

Gideon says, "And those floors have been concealed in secret ever since well not for long, you can never keep anything from this cowboy."

Soon they come toward their destination and they see the building like most abandoned places it's decrepit and broken.

Gideon, he looks at the building from one of his computer screens with glee and says, "Home sweet home."

Urawa says, "A fitting home for you."

"I heard that, but enough chit chat, it's time for business."

Gideon, he snaps his fingers and London stands up and then sees both and says, "Alright, yeah blokes it's time to get to work stand up."

Both refuses to and then London just takes both their arms hard where his nails are almost digging and gets them to stand and he looks at Urawa in a threatening manner.

London says, "You don't get stepping, and I'll give this pretty lass a bigger scar then yours wanker.

Urawa gives him a hardened look and just give a nod that they'll comply. Both then step out of the back of the base and then London escorts them as Gideon is taking the lead.

They come in through the front door and then walk in the first-floor hallway which looks even more dirty and decrepit with lots of dirt and suit, decaying doorways some that have broken down, concrete some broken and uprooted from growth from certain plants and trees. They keep walking until they go to some double doors and it's what was once a huge gymnasium. In this gymnasium there is plenty of technological equipment that is arranged in a semi circle and there is also what look like two big slabs, which have two big diving suit which are all connected with some wires and have some monitoring equipment. Suddenly there is clothing material that is thrown to Urawa and Gideon throws the Sailor Pen to Ami.

Gideon says, "Go over there and put those on for the suits."

He points to a couple of dressing barriers that are to the right of the gymnasium.

Gideon says, "Make it quick."

Ami looks at the Sailor Pen. Gideon picks up on her pondering.

Gideon says, "Uh, uh remember anything happens to me and this group, your friends will be colored red."

Both Urawa and Ami comply and then go behind the two barriers that block the sight of all that are working the equipment and even each other as the folds also block the sides. Both quickly change and then they both come out and Urawa is in a flexible black diving suit which is long sleeved and covers his legs. Ami can't help but notices how much it hugs his body, revealing how physically fit he is. Along with Urawa who sees her in the Sailor Senshi outfit with the blue skirt and boots and how it all fits her tightly. Both have slight blushes on their face, Gideon sees there done and snaps his fingers again and points at both of them to come to him. Both Urawa and Ami then both walk to Gideon and he then shows two of the big screens they are both facing.

Gideon says, "I'll be monitoring you progress from here, each of those screens are going to receive the footage from the built-in cameras from the diving helmets; there is also communication built into them for me to give you instructions and you can talk freely to each other all you want though I'll be listening."

Gideon, he points to the two big diving suits on the slabs. Ami looks at them curiously as she's seen diving suits before, but these were a lot less bulk and seem to look a little more sophisticated with he technology attached and there seems to be no interconnected hose.

Sailor Mercury says, "I've seen diving suits before, but not those types what are those?"

Gideon says, "Glad you asked, these were supposed to be the next generation models diving suits, they were built in the eighties during the cold war. But after that ended the project was abandoned along with other plans for the ocean. Anyway, these are just two of the models I was able to secure."

Urawa says, "You mean stole."

Gideon looks at him with spite.

"Quiet you and pay attention in class."

Gideon then clears his throat.

"Anyway, these Diver suits are less weighty, more flexible and I've made a few modifications myself."

He then points to the legs which are attached to some brace devices.

"These are robotic braces on the leg area where you can walk."

They see that the suit has some sort of braces like devices on the sides of the legs, but their connected but what looks like some tight metallic wire.

"The wire their connected to is a special kind of metal which is flexible, waterproof and impenetrable."

Sailor Mercury says, "What about oxygen?"

Gideon says, "Behind your suit you have a portable mini propeller jet pack. From the top is to submerge and the bottom it's to elevate."

Gideon then shows them a big rectangular remote device that is located where you would usual find a belt buckle. There are three different buttons each a different color.

"This remote device has three different buttons, the yellow on the left controls assent, the blue on the right decent and the silver it controls forward movement, press both in a two button combo and it will control your movements."

He then continues, "The inside of the pack has built in miniature oxygen canasters which combined have enough time for about three to four hours underwater, but I recommend you don't take too much time as they could run down quick."

London then looking away from the console says, "C'mon are we bloody going to get on with this or not?"

Gideon says, "In a minute, in a minute."

Urawa says, "What about defenses."

Gideon says, "Oh, I'm sure you won't need them, in fact you Ami are the one that can provide that with your powers."

Sailor Mercury says, "It's not all that simple."

"Well, your both tough and smart cookies I'm sure your figure it out."

Urawa says, "Thanks for the empty encouragement."

Gideon says, "Alright suit up now."

Both then go to the table, both suits are opened up with some sort of electronic seems on the edges to seal them in safe and secure. Both then they just lie down on them and then suddenly the suits automatically come together on their bodies till the suit cover their bodies whole. Two of Gideon science staff working on the suit then take the helmets and slowly get their head inside. Once their head is inside, both then breath in slow just to orient their bodies to their confinement. Then suddenly on their helmets there seems to be a digital display that is on streaming out data and one part of it says their both secure. Both of the tables then then lower down slowly to put them both in standing position. Once they are in standing position, they then start to walk but in a slow fluid motion, and then suddenly both of them are walking at normal speed once their legs got use to the robotics. They both face Gideon.

Gideon says, "Remember you have only three to four hours to find what I seek, and no screwing business, the minute I see it…."

Gideon make a cutting noise along with the finger gesture across his neck.

"You understand."

Both don't say anything, but Urawa just gives the nod. Gideon then points them both to the double doors where they came from and both then just simply walk and go out those doors along with Gideon, London and several of the faceless Scepter Inferno solders guiding them though the hallway. After they make the next turn, they notice that up ahead there is a big second of the hallway that has been destroyed and there is a murky pool of water that has been lit neon blue. Then both Ami and Urawa they both feel the muscles of a gun behind their backs.

Both Gideon and London are holding their pieces at them from Gideon a classic colt six shooter and London it's a big 45 six shooters as the muscle is a little longer.

Gideon says, "Alright, it's showtime both of you."

Both in the suit they then start to walk toward the water slowly, and slowly but surely both are submerging into the depths till the water covers them completely. As both descend the murky depths suddenly the light on top of their helmet turns on along with a couple of shoulder and waist flashlights. The lights are powerful enough to illuminate where they are, and they see they have descended down a staircase which has just lead to one of the lower floors and they see another hallway that is decrypt and ruined and there is mold that stretches and covers most of the hallway.

But the hallways have a very arctic cold feeling that Urawa feels despite the automotive heat function, Urawa isn't sure why but just taking on step into the hallway felt like he just stepped onto territory he shouldn't step on. He suddenly feels a hand grip on his and he is startled for a moment but then looks at who is holding it and sees it's Ami who still has that gentle look on her face with those beautiful blue eyes and understanding look. The handhold which he's never done with her makes him feel at ease and he can tell her in return. Both then slowly advance as both have finally taken their first steps onto unholy ground.
