Chapter Two:
Jotaro woke up and quickly shook himself off. He knew what was at stake, and there was no time to relax. He quickly went into the living room where his mother lied, surrounded by doctors.
Joseph approached him. "The Foundation's men are used to Stand related illnesses." he said. "Unfortunately they can only slow down the symptoms and keep her comfortable."
"We are still working on getting to Egypt." Avdol said. "Do to the Demons, many flights are being canceled."
"Speaking of which, I have detected a pocket of them not too far from here." VEGA added.
VEGA stated the coordinates and Jotaro looked in surprise. "That's my school," he said. "Let me handle that."
"Take the Slayer." said Joseph. "We will stay with Holy for now."
"Speaking of him, I noticed something different about him." Avdol noted. "The way he's looking, he appears to notice Magician's Red."
"Yeah, I seemed to notice it too." noted Jotaro. Star Platinum waved its hand in front of the Slayer face, and Jotaro noted his eyes darted with the movement. "He seems aware of them now."
"Quite interesting." said Joseph. "Maybe he always had a latent stand."
Jotaro and the Slayer made there way out and towards the school. Jotaro walked down the road, but the Slayer stuck to the woods. With Star Platinum visible, he could see Jotaro and keep up with him. "Stay alert," said VEGA. "There appears to be an incoming group of demons."
The Slayer stared down his heavy cannon's tactical scope. A group of imps approached Jotaro. He aimed at the middle one and fired. A bolt struck it's chest and it collapsed.
The others looked around in confusion, when Star Platinum attacked. The first one feel with the swift punches to the head, and he swung a backhand at another one. With a sudden whiplash, it's head rotated to the sound of a crack.
The Slayer lowered his scope and rushed towards Jotaro. He came closer and raised his gun again. He fired a couple of shots, hitting an imp below the ribs, and through the check.
Star Platinum pummeled the rest of the Imps, and the Slayer continued to move towards his location. He heard a loud roar and saw a Hell Knight. The Knight lunged at Jotaro. He stared down the scope of his cannon and aimed at it's chest.
The shot rang out and it slammed into the Knight. It growled in pain and continued towards Jotaro. Star Platinum moved between them and wound up. He then swung a punch towards the Knight's wound.
The fist smashed into it and the Knight screamed in pain. Holstering his cannon, the Slayer rushed over to Jotaro. He then drew his shotgun and executed the Hell Knight. With a quick turn, he faced Jotaro and sent another blast at an Imp behind him.
Jotaro and the Slayer looked around. "That's it for now." Jotaro remared. "What does your robot buddy say?"
"There are more demons at the school grounds." replied VEGA. "They appear to be agitated, as if they sense our presence."
After a walk down the trail, they soon saw the school gate. The Slayer spotted a couple of imps and opened fire. The imps collapsed and the other demons nearby came over. The Slayer and Jotaro stepped into the courtyard and went back to back.
The demons swarmed towards them. The Slayer sprayed heavy cannon fire and watched as the herd thinned out. Star Platinum remained with Jotaro, waiting for an Imp to draw near.
When the first one came close he appeared next to it and swung a huge punch. The fist hit the imp in the jaw with a loud crunch. More imps collapsed as he hurled more punches towards them.
The Slayer and Jotaro heard a loud bellow and turned to see a large demon coming at them. It had two large organic guns on its arms and it slammed them together.
Green projectiles came at them, and they jumped out of the way. The Slayer sprayed gunfire at the Mancubus, annoying it. It leapt high into the air with a jetpack and came down in front of Jotaro.
Quickly he summoned Star Platinum over and it slammed the Mancubus on the back of the head. It lurched back then roared at Jotaro. Quickly he reached his own hand and jabbed at its eye.
Suddenly the Mancubus was hit with a shotgun blast. The Slayer moved in closer and fired again. Before it could move, the Slayer approached it and grabbed something off of its chest.
Star Platinum assisted and they tore it off, and shoved it down the Mancubus's throat. It violently exploded, leaving gruesome remains.
Jotaro and the Slayer looked around the school yard, and upon seeing no movement, moved into the campus.
They walked down an empty corridor. "It's funny to see it empty." Jotaro said. "We need to search and clear every classroom."
The Slayer went to the nearest room and peeked in. Three gunshots rang out, and he stepped back towards Jotaro. They went to the next door where the head of an imp appeared. Star Platinum quickly closed it, crushing the Imp's skull.
He then opened it up and Jotaro stepped over the Imp's corpse into the classroom. He grabbed a desk and swung it at the nearest imp. He then swung at the other direction, trapping another imp against the wall.
A rapid fire series of jabs hit the imp on the head and chest. With a series of pop and cracks, the imp soon went limp and fell to the floor. He turned and saw the Slayer staring at a small group of dead imps.
"You got 'em?" he asked. "Let's go."
In the next room there were no demons. A student cowered behind the teacher's desk. Jotaro approached him. "You better get out of here." he said. "We cleared the path, get away from the school as fast as you can."
They moved down the hall and cleared a few more rooms before coming to the stairs. They looked up and down before Jotaro went down towards the basement. Suddenly Jotaro tumbled forwards.
He felt a surge of pain in his leg and lost his balance. Quickly he reached forward to stop the impact of the fall. The Slayer looked upwards and saw a man walk down the stairs.
He had a green uniform, red hair, and waved his finger like he was scolding the Slayer. Behind him was a Stand made out of green liquid and white armor. "So you see Hierophant Green." he noted. "What's yours?"
The Slayer lifted his shotgun and fired. As he did that the man raised his hand and Hierophant Green launched gems at him. Their projectiles collided, and scattered across the stairs. "So your bullets appear to be coated with Stand energy." the man remarked.
The Slayer fired again, and again the shots were deflected. The man ran up the stairs, and Hierophant followed after. The Slayer tried to keep up, but the man was out of sight. He soon got to the next floor.
He was about to turn down the hall, but he hesitated. A burst of jewels flew in front of him. When they passed the Slayer peered around the corner and let loose a blast of his shotgun.
Jotaro soon came up the stairs. "What's going on?" he asked.
"There appears to be an opposing Stand User." stated VEGA.
"Great demons and Stands." Jotaro remarked. "Just as the day couldn't get worse."
Despite his limp, Jotaro followed the Slayer after the hostile stand user. They saw him standing in the middle of the hallway. "Emerald Splash!" he shouted out.
Jotaro and the Slayer jumped to the side of the hallways and jewels flew by them. The Slayer responded with spray of cannon fire. The bullets hit the jewels midair, and the shattered onto the floor.
The Slayer kept firing as he saw Star Platinum get closer to Hierophant. Platinum swung a powerful uppercut that slammed Hierophant in the jaw. Feeling the pain, the man lurched back and clutched his jaw.
Hierophant fired another blast of emeralds, and then followed his user down the hall. The Slayer followed him down the hall, turned around a corner, but saw it was empty. Jotaro came up from behind him. "You saw him?"
The Slayer shook his head. "Then we look." Jotaro replied.
He walked down the hall and opened up a door. "Nothing here."
They continued to open up doors, finding them empty. In one was a woman, and she was crying. Jotaro carefully approached her. "What's wrong, are you hurt?" he asked her. "You need to get going, it's not safe here."
The woman flashed a grin, then swung a knife at Jotaro. He grabbed her arm and twisted it as hard as he could, but she seemed so strong.
Jotaro looked towards the front of the classroom and saw the strange man. He waved his arm and the woman copied him. He turned back towards her, struggling to get her disarmed. Hierophant was inside her and it made her strong.
The Slayer pointed his shotgun towards the woman's head, and Jotaro pushed it away with his elbow. He instead swung it at her, striking her below the ribs with the grip. The woman tumbled to the floor but soon got up.
The man made wide sweeping gestures with his arms, and the woman mirrored them. Her knife came at Jotaro with a wide grabbed her by the wrist and Star Platinum put her in a headlock.
The Slayer turned and opened fire towards the strange man, who ducked for cover. Quickly cornered, he pulled Hierophant out of the woman and to his side. With the stand in her, the woman went limp. She stared at Jotaro in confusion, and panicked when she saw that she had a knife.
He ignored her and turned to his attacker as he battled the Slayer. Gems and bullets crashed around him. He lunged towards the man, putting him in Stand range. When he got close he sent Star Platinum towards the man and slammed him against the wall.
With rapid fire punches,he pummeled the man. They hit him in the head, chest and gut. Both the man and Hierophant twitched and flailed wildly. He collapsed into a limp heap. The Slayer walked over to the man. "We need him for information."
The Slayer then turned his back to the man. Jotaro lifted him up and put him on the Slayer's spaulders. "Let's go home."
Joseph looked in curiosity as Jotaro and the Slayer dropped an unconscious man on the floor. "Who is he?"
"Enemy stand user." replied Jotaro.
"But what are you doing with him?"
"We need info on this DIO character." Jotaro replied. "Once we get him awake, he can get info out of him. I think Slayer can scare it out of him."
Avdol knelt beside the man. "I think I see something on his forehead."
Jotaro looked too. "It looks like a scar."
"I think I've seen this before." said Avdol. "It appears to be a flesh bud. Vampires use them to control people."
"So he never wanted to work for him?" Jotaro asked.
"Indeed." Joseph noted. "DIO is quite persuasive, but not everyone falls for his charms."
"So how do we get this thing out?"
Joseph looked in surprise. "You don't know." Jotaro sighed.
"It's potentially dangerous." Joseph commented. "You don't know what you are getting into."
Star Platinum leaned over and put his hand on the man's forehead. It tugged and pulled and everyone heard a screeching sound. Platinum felt the bulb in it's fingers. As he pulled he felt the tentacles slip out of the brain.
With quick adjustments of pressure he was able to loosen the tentacles grip. As much as they clung on, he pulled harder and faster. Soon he yanked out the flesh bud. Joseph grabbed it and his hand lit up.
The flesh bud swelled up until it burst open in a brilliant explosion. The man shuddered and opened his eyes. "Where am I?" he asked. "Who are you?"
"Who are you?" Jotaro replied.
"Kakyoin." he said. "Am I free?"
"Yes you are no longer under DIO's control." Avdol said.
"Then he has a lot to answer for."
"That's the spirit." Jotaro remarked.
