Chapter 2
"we have love each other for the last seven years."
"we have all seen how much you two love each other and we also seen the pain that you go through every time she returns from her mothers from the summer and how she looks."
"I'm tired of seeing her bruised, beaten and starved she dosent deserve to be treated like that."
"we all agree bill but you know how stubborn she is she put up with it because she thought she had no one to turn to because she was told that her own father never wanted her so she would just burden him."
"it kills me to know that now the damage that's been done hurts her so bad because she cant have children and I new she wanted to be a mother."
"there is a way and we will figure out that way to give her the dream she and you both have for a family when the time is right."
I smile softly listening to them talk as bill holds me close to him. He kisses the top of my head as he holds me close.
"dinner is ready and I will warn you bells darling charlie isn't the only one here this time."
"who is all here?"
"charlie, Ron, hermione, Ginny, Fred, George, harry, and your father plus the headmaster and Severus they are all here."
"wait how are they all here if there is no vacation till Christmas break?"
"the headmaster arranged it knowing how much you were going to miss all your friends so he has made this a one night a week thing for you all."
"he didn't have to do that"
"no but he wanted to he knows how close you all are and Fred, George have missed you since they graduated as those two are your best friends so be prepared to be attacked."
"oh I expect it trust me with those two around."
"I figured."
"you ok to go down love I know your still getting over your anxiety attack from earlier."
"yes I'm ok love I promise"
we get up and go downstairs and the minute I step into the kitchen Fred and George run at me and pick me up spinning me into the air. I squeal and grimace some still in pain but its worth it seeing my two besties again after so long. They put me down hugging me as everyone else comes over hugging me as well. Even Severus comes over hugging me. I look at him kinda shocked because hes never hugged me or anything. He chuckles some.
"don't look at me like that bells."
"why shouldn't I you never hug anyone yet your hugging me professor."
"sweetie you deserve a hug and I've become close enough to consider you a daughter even though I know that Sirius is your father but still."
"well in my opinion Severus she can never have enough fathers or parents to protect her."
"he is right Severus so if you want you can call her your daughter as well because shes is about to become our daughter in law as well so shell have us, sirius and you as her father I think it'll be good for her to be honest after all the hell shes gone through."
"wait what do you mean your daughter in law molly?"
"oops sorry Sirius I guess no one else knows bill asked her to marry him last night and she said yes."
everyone yells all happy and excited as molly announces our engagement. I laugh for the first time in months everyone stops at the sound because it isn't something that anyone ever hears coming from me and haven't heard since we all met. I stop looking at everyone and then I cower back because I was afraid I was going to be yelled at. Severus notices and reaches out to touch my arm but I flinch in fear. I back away slowly panicking as my eyes fill with tears I turn and run out the front door into the yard as a scream escapes my lips of pain. I fall onto my knees wishing I wasnt like this. Everyone goes to follow but Severus stops them.
"let Sirius go this time."
"are you sure I should be the one to go Severus?"
"your her father as I am now but I think you need to go to your daughter, shes hurting and she needs you right now if you cant get through to her someone else will try but its got to be you right now."
I don't hear him come up behind me or even kneel down beside me as I sit on the ground rocking back and forth. I jump as his arms wrap around me in a hug in which I turn into him burying my head into his chest as my body heaves with sobs of pain and anger. He holds me to him smoothing my hair.
"shh baby girl I'm right here its going to be ok I promise I've got you and I wont let no one hurt you ever again I promise."
"I didn't mean to panic, every time I would laugh or be happy with her shed punish me the worst way she could, when everyone stopped and looked at me I thought I was going to be punished for smiling and laughing."
"no princess your happy and your laughter is something no one has every really heard at least the real laugh it was a surprise to us all that's all no one here is every going to punish you for laughing and being happy its what everyone wants for you."
"I'm sorry daddy I'm so used to other things it hard to let myself be happy is all."
"I know princess but now you don't have to be, you have me, your other father Severus , molly and Arthur and everyone else who will protect you."
"I know but why would Severus want to be my father as well I've been nothing but mean to most everyone because I didn't wanna be close to anyone in fear one day they'd have to go to my funeral because of the abuse she gave."
"princess everyone seen you were hurting and got close to you anyway including Severus which I'm surprised as well because he don't get close to anyone but he did with you and I'm happy he was looking out for you when I couldn't."
"daddy?"
"yes my princess"
"I'm scared"
"of what princess?"
"that I wont be the wife that bill needs or wants me to be."
"oh princess, you will be he loves you for who you are and so does everyone else around you don't you ever doubt yourself am I understood."
"yes daddy"
"you ok to go back in?"
"no I cant face anyone right now I shouldn't have done that but I did and it is embarrassing how can I face them?"
"princess they love you and are worried right now the only reason no one else ran after you is because Severus wouldn't let them."
I get up slowly with his help as he puts his arm around me leading me back inside to the kitchen where everyone sat worried. Bill looks up getting up coming to me pulling me into his arms holding me tight against him as the others look at Sirius.
"shes ok, shes embarrassed at the moment and afraid your all going to look at her differently, she thought that she was going to be punished for laughing and being happy because that is what her mother did every time she was at home, when we all stopped and went silent just looking at her she thought she was in trouble for it."
"no my love never we just never have heard you laugh like that in all the years we have known you, it was your real happy laugh."
"I now this know love and I am sorry"
"don't be sorry its ok we understand completely."
We all sit down to dinner, laughing and joking with each other. I lay my head on bill as I watch everyone thinking how lucky I was to have such a family to love me. I new that one day soon it may end if she finds me again. She threatened if I found Sirius and told him that shed kill me. I hadn't told no one this little bit. She also told me if she didn't kill me shed sell me to Lucius as his permanent toy. Severus notices me lost in thought as I watch everyone. He touches my arm and I jump a little.
"you ok sweetie?"
"yes dad I'm alright just thinking is all."
"you sure your ok?"
"yes I'm good"
we finish dinner and its time for the others to go back to school. I hug them all as they go as we will see each other soon. The headmaster stops to talk to me.
"bells I hope you understand why I did what I did for you."
" I do headmaster and thank you for allowing them to come see me once a week for dinner it helps a lot since I do miss them so much"
"thank your father Severus as well because he talked to me about it as well thinking it may help you some."
"he did?"
"yes and I agreed with him and seeing how much fun you had tonight he was right."
"yes he was"
"get some sleep and rest sweetie you need it"
"yes headmaster"
"good girl"
after everyone leaves for the night I go up and take a shower then climb into bed beside bill as he opens his arms to me. I curl up my head on his chest as he holds me to him. He kisses me softly as I kiss back.
"my love we are going to diagon alley tomorrow to pick out your ring."
"ok my love"
"I love you so much and seeing how happy you were tonight made me happy, I am so glad that you can be yourself and happy again."
"I'm sorry I panicked"
"don't be I can see why you did and I never realized that she did that to you baby and I'm so sorry she did it was wrong."
"its not your fault my love"
"no but I wish I had gotten you out of there so much sooner."
"I know my love but I'm out and I'm with you for the rest of our lives."
"yes my love you are."
I fall asleep laying on his chest as he holds me close to him not letting go for anything. We both sleep through the night I didn't have one nightmare that night which wasn't normal for me. The next morning I got up early, dressed and went downstairs fixing everyone breakfast making coffee as well. As I set the table with everything everyone came into the kitchen and looked at me kinda shocked. Molly the most because she is usally the one making the meals no one had every got up earlier then her to make breakfast. I smile at them all as they sit down to eat.
"bells dear you didn't need to do this."
"no but it is something I wanted to do mom I hope you don't mind."
"I don't mind at all sweetie I just don't want you overdoing things is all I know your still healing."
"the more I move the better off I am."
bill smiles as he stares at me. I blush and look away not understanding why hes staring at me like he is as he chuckles softly as I blush looking away.
"whats wrong my love."
"nothing love just not sure why your staring at me like that I didn't do anything special all I did was make everyone breakfast."
"my love anything you do is special in my eyes you amaze me."
"oh stop it bill im not that special."
"you are to me and to this family my love you might wanna get used to it"
"yes my love"
I sit down and eat a little breakfast with them. I don't eat much but everyone knows im still adjusting to eating again. So no one pushes me into eating anymore then I do at the moment. I go to clean up but mom stops me.
"go one get out of here you two I know you both have plans together today so ill clean up."
"yes mom"
we leave and use the floo powder to get to diagon alley. Bill holds my hand as we walk around and I freeze when I see my mother and lucies talking at the coffee shop next to the store we were headed for. Bill feels me freeze and start to shake some.
"bells love whats wrong?"
I point to the table as he sees them as well. He puts his arm around me holding me close as we walk bye the table as they both see us. He leads me into the jewlery store . He looks at me and kisses me softly.
"its ok love let them start something with you while I'm here they wont hurt you I promise you that."
"little did I know bill had sent out one of patronus to Fred, George, Severus and Sirius.
They all four appear out of no where by our side. I jump a little as they all appear.
"what the hell are you four doing here."
"I sent for them love."
"ok love"
suddenly lucies and my mother walk into the shop looking very pissed off. I press closer to bill as the others stand in front of us protecting us.
"princess you and bill do what you came here to do no one is going to mess with you when we are all here I promise."
"hes right sweetie"
"ok dad and daddy"
bill leads me to the counter as we look at rings together. We finally decided on a heart shaped diamond right with emeralds surrounding the heart. The jewelry person slips it onto my ring finger and it fits perfectly. Bill pays for it as I smile staring at my ring forgetting for a moment that they are in the same shop as us.
"do you like it my love?"
"I love it baby"
"good nothing is too good for my soon to be wife"
"the hell she is your soon to be wife she has no permission to marry anyone, she is coming home where she belongs."
"no actually shes not going anywhere with you nor will she ever again."
"who the hell are you to tell me my daughter will not be coming home to me"
"I am her father or did you forget what I looked like."
"Sirius?"
"yes that's right she is my daughter and I'm the one taking care of her now and at least I don't abuse her like you do or even sell her off to be raped repeatdly like you did this summer."
"she got what she deserved"
"she didn't deserve anything you have done to her over the years."
"who are you to tell me what she did or didn't deserve?"
"I'm her other father Severus snape is who the hell I am and I wont allow her to go anywhere with you either."
"she cant have two fathers this isn't how it works"
"she can have as many fathers she wants and needs to protect her from someone like you."
"Bells get your ass over here now!"
"no I'm done I am marrying the man I love and your no longer apart of my life nor will you control me anymore."
"so your getting brave to stand up to me now are you"
"damn right I am, I'm no longer your punching bag I am happy and loved now I don't need to deal with your abuse any longer so leave me alone."
then suddenly lucies appears beside me grabbing my arm as I struggle to get away from him. He slaps me across the face hard enough to knock me to the ground. Suddenly aurors show up arresting both him and her. I sit on the ground rubbing my face. Bill helps me up and looks at my face and it was bruised pretty badly. I lean into him burying my head as I cry against his chest. He dissappartes back to the burrow with me in his arms as the other four follow us. He carry's me into the house and up to our room laying me on the bed as the others come in followed but mom.
"what in the hell happened?"
"her mother and lucies showed up at the shop we went into and lucies slapped her so hard he left a bruise on her face, I tried to pull her away but I wasn't quick enough."
"bill this was not your fault do not blame yourself for this."
"none of us expected him to be so stupid to pull a stunt like this."
"no but damn it I promised hed never lay a hand on her again."
"we all did bill we all tried to get to him before he grabbed her but we couldn't get to her quick enough this is no ones fault but his."
"is she ok bill?"
"I don't now she hasn't said a word since it has happened."
"bells?"
I look up as mom speaks to me.
"are you ok sweetie?"
"yes I'm ok mom no need to worry."
"you sure sweetie no one expects you to be ok after what just happened."
"I'm really ok mom, no one should blame themselves for what happened either."
"well they both have been arrested at least they cant harm you anymore."
"yes but who knows how long they will be in jail for we both now lucies is good at getting his way out of things"
"that is true but from now on you wont be alone even if it is just you and bill you will have someone else with you"
"I don't want to become a burden that you all have to protect at all times."
"bells you are not a burden so don't even think like that, you are family and we protect family."
"yes dad"
"Severus is right we protect family and now we are all one big family here and we will protect you no matter what happens."
"ok mom"
"did you guys find the ring you were looking for I know that is why you went out today."
"yes we did find the perfect ring mom"
I hold my hand up for everyone to look at it. They all smile as they see how beautiful it is. Bill smiles and kisses me softly as I kiss him back softly. He sits beside me and puts an arm around me. I lean against him laying my head against him. Everyone goes back downstairs leaving us alone. I look up at him.
"you ok my love?"
"yes love I just feel bad because I couldn't protect you from him"
"love no one expected what he did so how could you or anyone of you protect me from something none of us saw coming."
"your right love but still your face is bruised again and it upsets me."
"love its a bruise it will fade I'm ok, I'm alive and I am not going no where."
"yes my love"
I lean up kissing him softly. He pulls me tight against him as he deepens the kiss between us my arms go around his neck as he pulls me into his lap. I moan against the kiss which causes him to deepen the kiss even more. I pull back looking at him.
"love as much as I need you right now you know we cant with my fathers downstairs, along with your brothers and parents."
"I know my love I need you as well right now but we can wait till tonight."
"yes my love shall we go down and join them?"
"yes lets go moms probably got lunch done by now and if I know mom shes talked all of them into staying for lunch."
"knowing mom she probably has"
we go downstairs and sure enough everyone was sitting down to lunch as we come into the kitchen and take our seats at the table for lunch as well. Charlie bursts through the door looking pissed and ready to kill someone. His gaze falls on me as he sees the bruise on my face. I look down away from him knowing someone had told him what happened. He comes over to me lifting my face as he makes sure I am ok.
"what the hell happened today?"
"charlie calm down shes ok I promise its just a bruise and they both were arrested today, its been dealt with and no one expected him to do that to her so please sit down and have some lunch with the rest of us."
"bells you sure your ok sis?"
"yes charlie I'm fine I promise now sit down and stuff your face."
everyone bursts out laughing including charlie as he sits down to eat with the rest of us. I laugh as bill fills our plates for us. I eat a little bit of what he puts on my plate before I am full. He smiles as he sees I have eaten more then I usually do.
"your slowly eating more my love"
"slowly yes I am trying I know I need to get back to my original weight."
"yes you do princess your to thin and it worry's us all."
"I know daddy but I'm getting there and doing my best to get there you all got to be patient with me is all."
"we are love, cant help we all worry about you is all."
"I know you all do but you also got to let me do things at my pace"
"yes she is right if we push it wont be good on her one bit so let her go at the pace she needs to go at."
"yes mom we are"
"good"
after lunch everyone helps clean up but me cause no one would let me get up and move. I sit there watching my family as I smile happily. They all sit back down at the table as we talk and joke around. Then bill stops and looks at me which worrys me not knowing what he was about to say to me.
"bells my love I was thinking that we could do a Christmas wedding this year when everyone comes home for Christmas"
"the quiesten is everyone going to be able to be there, and is anyone going to get upset that we are having it on Christmas because its suppose to be the holiday for the family to all be together."
"no one is going to get upset over it and yes all of us will be here for it, we may have to have it at Sirius house again this year since we have added more to the family but then again we always have it at Sirius house anyway."
"this is true we always do have it at my house and now this will give me an excuse to decorate for not only Christmas but also a wedding of my princess."
"you mean our princess there Sirius?"
"yes Severus our princess"
everyone laughs as they look at each other. I chuckle softly watching the two of them fight over whose princess I am.
"both of you I am your princess but my quiesten is who's walking me down the aile that day."
they both go to speak but mom stops them both in their tracks.
"they both will be walking you down and that is the end of the discussion right there, there will be no fighting on your wedding day and if either of you have an issue youll take it up with me as I am going to be planning this wedding."
me and bill bust out laughing at the look on both their faces as does everyone else in the room. They both realize they just got told by molly and neither argue.
"ok that's settled then"
"well that got settled quicker then I thought it would I was waiting to see them both fight it out and mom takes away our fun right off."
"I know right charlie."
"BELLS!"
"what fathers?"
"you really were waiting for us to fight it out?"
"well yes I actually was since the two of you are now both close to me I was and I thought it would be entertaining to be honest."
"wow listen to her"
bill busts out laughing and puts an arm around me smiling.
"that's my soon to be wife and I'm so proud of her."
"so now your on her side to bill?"
"of course I am on her side who else side would I be on?"
"the men's side."
"nope I'm playing it smart on this one you two are on your own thank you very much."
"wow see how this is going to be in the future."
Everyone busts out laughing at their expense as I sit and close my eyes, my head starting to hurt for no reason at all. Bill looks at me concerned as he notices me closing my eyes and holding my head.
"bells you ok love?"
"just a headache is all love I'm fine."
"you sure?"
"yes love I am sure"
"ok love maybe you need to go lay down for a bit"
"not with everyone here I don't, I'm spending time with my family I am not going to be rude and go lay down."
"bells if you need to go lay down we all understand your not being rude one bit and most of us have to get going but will be back later on."
"alright if your all sure."
"we are now go rest we all love you and want you to be healthy and not getting sick."
"yes I now."
"then go lay down Missy before I kick your ass."
"Dad!"
"don't dad me now go before I pick you up and carry your ass up them stairs."
I roll my eyes at him not realizing that was a mistake. Bill sees the look in his eyes and moves away from me as he comes over to me picking me up and carry's me upstairs to bed laying me on it.
"gonna roll your eyes at me again young lady."
"no dad"
"that's what I thought, now get some rest and don't you dare get up as soon as I leave because I will ask bill if you did or not."
"you think hes going to tell you if I did or not."
"trust me he will princess"
I grumble and lay down closing my eyes as I fall asleep. I curl up under the blankets as he leaves the room.
