Hey guys! Here is chapter 2. I hope ya'll enjoy this one. :)
Meanwhile in a house not too far away from the palace. The king's brother, Scar, was carelessly snoring away, sleeping in his bedroom. Then Scar's phone buzzed loudly and woke him up. He reached over and grabbed it. The call was from Mufasa. Scar angrily pressed the decline button. He groaned and got out of bed.
If the rude awakening wasn't enough, he remembered that today the little brat who stole his spot in line for the throne would presented to thousands of people. And to top it all, Mufasa was everyone's favorite. His subjects fawned all over him. Even Scar's own parents favored Mufasa over him. It made Scar sick to his stomach.
Scar got dressed and walked into his kitchen. He opened the refrigerator and got an apple out. He placed the apple on a cutting board and opened his window. Scar thought he could use some fresh air. He picked up the apple. "Life's not fair, is it?" he said to it. "You see I shall I shall never be king and you shall never see the light of another day." Scar said as he drew out a kitchen knife.
"Didn't your mother ever tell you not to play with your food?" a voice asked. Scar looked up and saw Zazu in his window. "What do you want?" Scar asked in annoyance. "I'm here to announce that King Mufasa is on his way. So I hope you have I good excuse for missing the presentation this morning." Zazu said and crossed his arms. "Oh Mufasa's pissed off, is he?" Scar asked. "Very." Zazu said sternly. "Ooh I quiver with fear!" Scar exclaimed sarcasticly. "As you should." Zazu muttered.
Anger shot through Scar and he picked up his kitchen knife. Before he could step any closer to Zazu, a loud voice yelled, "SCAR!" Scar turned around in surprise to see Mufasa standing in the doorway. "Don't even think about it. And Sarabi and I didn't see you at the presentation of Simba." Mufasa said and glared at him. "Oh crap. That was today? It must've slipped my mind." Scar said, trying to play dumb. "As slippery as your mind is, as the king's brother you should have been first in line." Zazu said as he entered Scar's house. "I was first in line!" Scar shouted. Zazu jumped back. "Until the little brat was born." Scar finished.
"That 'brat' is my son and your future king." Mufasa said. "Then I shall practice my courtesy." Scar said and chuckled to himself as he walked away. "Don't turn your back to me, Scar!" Mufasa yelled. "Perhaps you shouldn't turn your back on me." Scar said. Mufasa grabbed Scar by his shirt. "Was that a threat?" Mufasa shouted. "Woah there! I wouldn't dream of threatening you." Scar said. "Shame. Why not?" Zazu asked. "Well, as far as brains are concerned I got the lion's share but when it comes to brute strength, I'm afraid I'm in the shallow end of the gene pool." Scar said and walked back to his bedroom.
Mufasa sighed. "There's one in every family, sire. They always manage to ruin special occasions." Zazu said reassuringly. "What am I going to do with him? He's just not himself anymore." Mufasa said and looked sadly toward his brother's bedroom. Mufasa and Zazu left Scar's house amd got in Mufasa's Ford F-150 that was just one of his many cars. They drove back to the palace to celebrate Mufasa's new son.
