Sesshomaru's POV

My attention had been on my daughter whom I was holding in my arms when Tenseiga suddenly began to shake.

"What is it Tenseiga?" I asked the sword.

A purple light then got my attention and it was coming from the direction of the Bone Eater's Well. Immediately I felt great stress through the mate bond I shared with Talia. Something wasn't right with my wife.

Luna? What is going on? Are you alright? I asked through the telepathic link we shared. But I got no response.

Ballerion hoped off of Rin's shoulder and took his human form. He approached me and I gave Yuna a kiss on her forehead before handing her over to the dragon shifter. Yuna would be safe at Rikku's for the time being. Ballerion then took his leave using Blade as his mount before I turned to Rin and Jaken.

"Lord Sesshomaru what is going on?" my adopted daughter asked.

"I am not sure but I want you to stay close Rin"

Rin nodded and Jaken gulped knowing something wasn't right.

Talia's POV

It wasn't long until I was coming out of the Bone Eater's Well.

"Talia?"

Damn it!

Shippo couldn't be here right now!

"Shippo! Run!" I cried before Ladon took possession of my body. I jumped from the well and soon I was swinging the cursed sword at Shippo. The fox demon yelped before running for it. Thankfully he transformed into a pink balloon and floated away to safety.

Suddenly I turned my head and noticed a woman was with her child. She was smart to run for it with her little one in tow before I unwillingly chased after them. I just hoped the residents of the village were long gone before I arrived.

Thankfully they were but several chickens did not. Feathers floated through the air when Ladon disposed of them.

Miroku's POV

When Sango and I arrived in the heart of the village we found Talia. While her hair remained normal her demon features were present. She was holding a sword that was the source of evil.

"I don't recognize the sword she has" Myoga said from my shoulder.

"Whatever it is its evil" Sango added. "It's possessing Talia"

Kirara transformed to her larger state and growled. Talia looked like she was about to attack when her attention was brought to the house next to her.

Talia's POV

Ladon forced me to enter a house and there I found a woman with her infant child. The poor thing was crying.

"Kill them!" Ladon demanded.

Again my body was beyond my control as I raised Ladon above me. However I managed to somehow get some control and I hesitated.

"Talia! Don't!" Miroku shouted from behind me.

"Kill them!" Ladon shrieked.

I snarled before sinking my fangs into my arm. My blood spilled onto the floor as I resisted Ladon's commands.

"Miroku hurry and take them away" I growled.

Miroku's POV

I rushed to the mother and guided her outside with her child. Sango was already on Kirara and I helped the woman get onto the cat demon.

"Something's wrong with Talia!" Shippo said arriving. He returned to his normal form just as Talia came out of the house still resisting the sword that was possessing her.

"All of you get out of here!" Talia shouted.

"I'll send you all to hell!" the sword roared.

Talia's eyes became red again and the sword began to glow orange. The temperature around us began to rise and it was time to leave. I got onto Kirara and just as the demon cat take off did the wind pick up as well. Talia spun the sword around above her causing wind and fire to merge together. Then a fiery tornado formed and Talia cried.

"Inferno Twister!"

Talia then swung the sword forward and the fire funnel tore through the village. Wind and fire destroyed everything in its path. The woods that surrounded the village also got destroyed.

"Unbelievable" I said as we all saw the devastation from the attack.

"I think I might know about the sword" Myoga announced. "But I can't say for certain"

"We need to wait for Inuyasha and Kagome" I stated. "We can't do anything for now"

Talia's POV

Ladon was now quiet after it used it's "Inferno Twister". It definitely used up its demonic energy so it would need time to recuperate. The sky was darkening and it was wise to seek shelter. I found a cave nearby and took shelter just as it began to rain.

Talia? Can you hear me? Sesshomaru's voice called through our mate bond.

Oh thank god!

Yes I can hear you babe I answered.

What is going on?

I snorted at my husband's demand.

I have a damn sword attached to me I answered before going into detail about Ladon.

I will find you Luna and make sure that damn fang is separated from you without you being harmed in the process my beloved promised. For now get some sleep

I decided to take my husband's advice and once he stopped talking did I actually fall asleep.

Next Morning

Inuyasha's POV

I helped Kagome out of the Bone Eater's Well. Miroku and Shippo had been waiting for us. The monk and fox demon showed us the destruction that the damned sword forced Talia to do. Sango and Kirara joined us a few minutes after Miroku finished explaining what happened.

"That sword called itself Ladon" I began. "Apparently my old man and Talia's mother killed him and his spirit possessed a human and using one of his fangs was the sword forged"

"Ladon was an evil dragon demon and was indeed slain by your father and Lady Yuna" Myoga confirmed. "My guess he seeks vengeance and wishes to wreck havoc using Talia as his host"

"To hell with that" I snapped. I was determined to get my best friend freed of that damn sword once and for all. The others would definitely do the same.

Just hang on Tal we're coming I thought.

Talia's POV

The next morning it had stopped raining and when I woke I felt Ladon was as well. As I walked about the sword was quiet but I got ambushed by several ogre demons and Ladon took over. Under its possession I disposed of the ogre demons before venturing on. I stopped on the edge of a valley and Ladon seemed satisfied here was a good place to stop.

"Ah I see we have company" Ladon said.

"Shut up you damned dragon" I growled before seeing Sesshomaru coming out of the nearby woods. His golden eyes looked to Ladon and they narrowed. Then my husband looked to me.

"Luna are you unharmed?" he inquired.

"Yeah but I want this f**king thing off" I replied. "However I think Ladon isn't going to give that up so easily"

"Indeed I won't" Ladon agreed. "I will enjoy seeing you fight your mate"

Sesshomaru said nothing before drawing Tokijin out.
