Here's Part 2!

Vic was up first the next morning, her head pounding and her face extremely congested. She got up, going into the kitchen to get something to drink. She went to make some tea, remembering as she waited for the water to boil that she wasn't going to be able to taste it. She opted to just add honey to hot water in hopes of helping her sore throat a little.

She curled up on the couch, turning the TV on quietly. However, after twenty minutes, the TV was making her head hurt so she turned it off, just closing her eyes. She must have fallen asleep because the next thing she remembered was hearing a door open. She looked up, seeing Andy coming into the room.

"Hey," Vic said, rubbing her eyes, "How are you feeling?"

"Achy," Andy said, sitting down on the couch, "And my stomach is pretty upset right now. How are you feeling?"

"Congested," Vic said, "And my head is pounding."

"This sucks," Andy said, curling up with her knees to her chest, "Is Maya still sleeping?"

"I haven't seen her yet this morning," Vic said, "I'll go check on her in a minute."

"I'll do it," Andy said, "I need to use the bathroom anyway."

Andy used the bathroom before knocking lightly on Maya's door.

"Come in," Maya called, coughing after.

"Hey," Andy said, going in, "How are you feeling this morning?"

"Not great," Maya said, running her hand over her face, "It's fine. How are you?"

"Also not great," Andy said, shaking her head, "Hey, Vic said you have a pulse ox in here."

"In the bathroom," Maya nodded, "I meant to find it yesterday, but I forgot."

"I'll go grab it," Andy said, "Do you know where it is?"

"Second shelf," Maya said, groaning as she moved, every muscle in her body feeling like she had just run a marathon.

"Alright," Andy said, pulling out the device, "Let's see how your lungs are doing."

Maya slipped the device on her finger, glad it read 100.

"I'm fine," Maya said, pulling the blankets up as the chills hit, "I'm probably going to go back to sleep. I feel like garbage."

"You need to drink something," Andy said, "And take your temp."

"You're bossy," Maya mumbled, rubbing her eyes.

"I'll be right back," Andy said, shaking her head.

"How's Maya?" Vic asked as she laid back down on the couch after getting herself some ice for her head.

"Wait" Andy said, "Take your temperature first."

"Yes Mom," Vic groaned, grabbing the thermometer, "101.8. That explains the headache."

"Did you take anything?" Andy asked, handing her the pulse ox device, Vic slipping it on her finger.

"Not yet," Vic said, "It's 99 by the way."

"Good," Andy said, handing her some Tylenol, "Now take this."

Andy then went into Maya's room with the thermometer.

"Alright," Andy said, shaking Maya a little, "Time for fluids, meds, and temp check."

"Go away," Maya said, pulling the blankets over her face.

"Not until you drink this," Andy said, "Carina will actually murder Vic and I if we don't take care of you."

Maya groaned but pulled the blanket off her head, looking at Andy.

"Sit up," Andy said, handing Maya the cup of Pedialyte as she ran the thermometer over her forehead, "102.5. Take these."

"If I do, will you go away?" Maya said, taking the pills from Andy.

"For now, yes," Andy nodded.

Maya swallowed the pills before burying herself back in her blankets.

A few minutes after Andy left, Maya's phone started ringing and she answered it, smiling as Carina's face greeted her, propping the phone up on her nightstand so she could keep her entire body under the blankets.

"Hi Bambina," Carina said, frowning at how miserable Maya looked, "How are you doing this morning?"

"I'm freezing," Maya said, rubbing her eyes, "Well, I'm not actually freezing because my fever is higher, but I have really bad chills right now. And every part of my body hurts."

"Oh, Bambina," Carina frowned, "I'm sorry you are feeling so sick."

"It's ok," Maya said, "How are you? How's the hotel?"

"Not as nice as our apartment," Carina sighed, "Mostly because you're not here."

Maya smiled a little before she started coughing.

"My oxygen is 100, before you ask," Maya said when she finished, "It's just a cough. It hurts and it sucks, but I'm ok."

"I wish I could be there to help you feel better," Carina said, frowning.

"I'll be alright Carina," Maya said, "But I am so tired right now I don't think I'm going to be able to stay awake much longer."

"Sleep Bambina," Carina said, "It will help. I am off today so call me whenever you want."

"Night Car," Maya mumbled, eyes already slipping shut.

"Sleep well Bambina," Carina said, hanging up the phone.

Meanwhile, out in the living room, Vic was dozing on the couch while Andy called Robert.

"Hey," he said, smiling at her, "How are you feeling?"

"Sick," Andy said, going into the guest room so she didn't disturb Vic, "How is isolation going?"

"Well, I have already cleaned the entire house," he said, chuckling, "And I started working on a puzzle. This is going to be a long five days."

"You are already a day and a half in," Andy laughed, laying down on the bed, "We have double the amount of time."

"I know," he said, frowning, "How are your symptoms?"

"Well, my stomach is not doing great this morning," Andy sighed, "And I have a fever and my body hurts, but nothing too terrible."

"How are Vic and Maya?" he asked, worried about their friends too.

"Maya's got it the worst so far," Andy said, "And Vic is feeling pretty bad this morning too, but we are all alright. No one is have problems breathing or anything."

"Good," he said, "I wish there was something I could do to help."

"Carina dropped off groceries for us yesterday," Andy said, "So we are good for now."

The two of them talked for a while, just enjoying each other's company, until Andy's stomach started acting up again. Once she was finished in the bathroom, she crashed.

No one really did much during the day, Vic waking up from her nap feeling slightly better, heating up some soup Carina had dropped off the day before.

Once it was ready, she went to check on Andy and Maya, finding both of them awake. Andy dragged her body out to the living room, but Maya was in too exhausted and achy to get out of bed.

"Call Carina," Vic said, "She texted me to see how you were. And drink this."

"Fine," Maya said, wincing as she sat up, her body hurting.

She grabbed her phone, calling her girlfriend.

"Sorry I didn't call all day," Maya said, taking a little sip of the broth, "I am just so tired."

"No," Carina said, shaking her head, "I am being paranoid. I know you three are all taking care of each other. I should let you sleep."

"No," Maya said, "I need to drink this so we can talk while I do. How was your day?"

"Well, I went for a walk," Carina said, "And then I called Elena and we talked for a little while."

"How is she?" Maya asked, having met Carina's cousin on facetime a few times.

"Good," Carina said, "Italy's case numbers are dropping and she is back at work in person two days a week which is good for her."

Maya smiled as she listened to Carina talk a little more about Elena, trying to concentrate both on her girlfriend and on putting food in her body despite the protests from her stomach.

"Did you do anything besides sleep today?" Carina asked after a while as Maya put her not empty mug on the nightstand.

"Not really," Maya said, getting back under her blankets, "I listened to about half a podcast, but my head was pounding so I had to turn it off. And I threw up a couple times."

"This is hitting you really hard," Carina said, shaking her head, "Is there anything I can do?"

"Just don't come over here," Maya said, "You do not want to catch this."

"I know," Carina nodded, "Well, if any of you need anything, just text or call. You look like you are about to pass out so I am going to let you sleep."

"Can you just talk to me until I fall asleep?" Maya asked, Carina's voice always soothing to her.

"Of course," Carina nodded, "Close your eyes."

Within five minutes, Carina could hear the soft snores coming from her girlfriend, just watching her for a minute, wishing she could be there with her before she hung up.

Andy came in a while later, waking Maya just enough to get some meds in her before leaving her alone to sleep.

"Her temp is close to 104," Vic sighed as she walked out of Maya's bedroom the following morning, "We might need to take her in."

"How's her oxygen?" Andy asked, coughing harshly.

"It's still 98," Vic said.

"Then we stay here," Andy said, "There's nothing they can do for the fever there we can't do here. If she needs it, I'm sure someone could drop an IV off for her."

"We can't tell Carina how sick she is," Vic said, shivering a little, "She will come over and end up getting sick too."

"She's going to call Maya eventually," Andy said, rubbing her eyes, "And she's going to be pissed that we didn't tell her."

"She can't come over here," Vic said, grabbing a blanket, "We still have eight more days of strict quarantine, and if she comes over here and gets sick, Maya will actually lose it."

"I know," Andy said, nodding, "We won't tell her."

"I managed to get some Tylenol in her so hopefully that helps," Vic said, "We need to check our oxygen and temps too."

They went through their normal routine, taking their own vitals before switching devices.

"My temp is 102," Andy sighed, "How's yours?"

"101.3," Vic said, "Crap. Carina's calling. You talk to her. I can't lie."

"Fine," Andy said, taking the phone and answering, "Hi Carina."

"Andy," Carina said, "I thought I called Vic."

"You did," Andy nodded, "Buy I wanted to talk to you."

"About what?" Carina asked, confused.

"No, I just mean Vic is feeling a little tired right now," Andy said, realizing Carina was going to see right through them.

"I was actually calling because I tried to call Maya and she didn't answer," Carina said, "And I just wanted to make sure she's ok."

"She's fine," Andy said, "Probably just asleep."

"Let me talk to Vic," Carina said, knowing her roommate couldn't lie and not believing Andy.

"Hey Carina," Vic said, smiling at her a little.

"How is Maya?" Carina asked as Vic tried not to look at her.

"Maya, Maya who?" Vic started, realizing how stupid she sounded, "Oh, I'm sure you mean your girlfriend. Um, well, she's fine. She's um, for sure not running a fever of 103.9."

"What?" Carina said, eyes wide, "It's that high?"

"She's going to be ok, Carina," Andy said, "Her oxygen is still perfectly normal, and she hadn't had any fever reducers in a few hours. Vic just gave her some. "

"Can I see her?" Carina asked, genuinely worried.

"She's probably asleep," Vic said, taking the phone, Andy curling up as her head started to pound more. Vic walked into Maya's bedroom, finding the blonde curled in her blankets, eyes cracking open as Vic walked in.

"Go," she groaned, "I took my meds and drank. You promised you would go."

"Bambina," Carina said, immediately calming Maya's hostility, "Hey. Vic said you aren't doing very well right now."

"It's just a fever," Maya said, "I'll be fine."

Maya then broke off into a painful sounding cough.

"Maya," Carina sighed as Vic sat down on the edge of the bed so Carina could talk to her better.

"Carina, I am going to be ok," the blonde said, "My oxygen is still normal. I am going to be ok."

"You might need to come in," Carina said, "A fever that high is dangerous."

"No hospital," Maya said, shaking her head as her eyes started to close, "Going to sleep. Love you."

"Love you too Bambina," Carina said as Maya fell asleep.

"We're keeping an eye on her," Vic said, turning the phone back to herself as she walked out of Maya's room, carefully closing the door, "She's sleeping a lot, but she's still drinking and we can wake her up. I promise we will bring her in if she needs it."

"I know," Carina sighed, "I just wish I could be there. How are you and Andy doing?"

"We are alright." Vic said, "Andy's got a headache right now, and we both still have fevers, but nothing too bad."

"Good," Carina nodded, "Well, I need to get to work. Let me know if you guys need anything."

"Thanks," Vic nodded, hanging up.

Vic found Andy sleeping on the couch, covering her with a blanket before going into her own room, turning on her TV.

She must have fallen asleep because the next thing she knew, she was woken up by violent coughing coming from the room next door. She got out of bed, going into Maya's room. The blonde was still coughing as she looked at Vic.

"Ok," Vic said, going over to her, "Ok. Just try to calm down."

Andy came in just then, looking confused for a second before realizing what was going on. Maya managed to stop coughing, but her breathing was starting to sound bad.

"I'll be right back," Vic said, getting up and going to the living room, grabbing the pulse ox.

She went back into the bedroom, sticking it on Maya's finger.

"97," Vic said, letting out a breath she didn't know she was holding, "Ok. It's just a cough. Are you ok?"

"Yeah," Maya nodded, "I mean, I feel like shit, but I'm ok."

"Alright," Vic said, feeling her body calming a little when she realized her friend was ok.

"Andy, are you alright?" Maya asked, looking at her friend.

"Just tired," Andy said, rubbing her eyes, "And so achy."

Maya nodded, coughing a little more.

"Ok," Vic said, "Well, let's try not to get any worse. Does anybody need anything?"

"Vic, you're sick too," Maya said, "You need to rest."

"I am," Vic said, "I am feeling a little better right now. Everyone needs some hydration, especially with those fevers."

"Then you will leave?" Maya said, rubbing her eyes, "Or you can stay but you have to be quiet. My head is killing me right now."

"Same," Andy nodded, "I'm going to go to my room."

Vic made sure everyone got something to drink before crashing herself.

Vic woke up around three am when she heard coughing coming from the living room. She got out of bed, going to make sure whoever was awake was alright. She found Maya on the couch, looking miserable.

"You alright?" Vic asked, startling the blonde a little.

"I don't know," Maya said, coughing again, clearly struggling to breathe.

"Maya, do you need to go to the hospital?" Vic asked, looking at her friend.
