Kazuma was awoken from his nap by both Megumin and Darkness.He simply gave a tired sigh before saying
"Look I'll get started on dinner in just a second dont get your panties in a twist"
"That's not what we wanted to talk about Kazuma"
Megumin replied with a stern tone.
"Then what did you wanna ask?"
Kazuma said with a confused voice. Darkness then spoke up saying then
"Aqua has been calling you Mummy"
Darkness' breathing becomes heavy as her face becomes flushed and a perverted smiled smile creeps onto her face.
"Is it some kinda erotic roleplay where you play the role of a cruel Dommy Momm-
"NO YOU SICK PERVERT!!!!!!!!!"
Kazuma screamed cutting her off. He then quickly regained his composure before saying in a much softer tone
"Look Aqua just drank some weird potion from Wiz's shop and now she's calling me Mummy Im just as confused as you guys"
Megumin then spoke up thinking of something and said to Kazuma
"Well as long as it's just that there's nothing really wrong with her then right?"
Darkness slowly nodded her head in agreement as Kazuma jaw dropped before he managed to sputter out
"A-Are y-you kidding me!?!? Aqua thinks Im her Mom!!!!"
Darkness then said quickly in response
"Well it might not be a entirely bad thing now Aqua might be more motivated to give it her all to gain her "Mummy's" approval"
"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!!?!"
Aqua then walked into the room greeting Megumin and Darkness before turning to Kazuma saying
"Mummy your making my favorite for dinner right?"
Kazuma gave a confused look before saying
"N-No I was actually thinking of just making some beef stew really
"B-But Mummy you promised to make my favorite remember?"
Aqua said with a now teary face. Even though Aqua was a terrible liar and not really Kazuma's kid he still couldn't resist seeing her start to cry(mostly because how much of a pain in the ass it is to get her to stop) so he then said
"Look fine we'll go get some frog legs and cabbage from the market and I'll fry them up alright sweetie"
Kazuma bit his lip hard on the last part cursing himself for accepting so easily that he's now Aqua's mom as Megumin and Darkness tried not to laugh. Aqua though just a gave a cheery response and dragged Kazuma by the arm out of the mansion.
After the market trip and dinner Kazuma is now relaxing on his bed and reading a book that he got from the library though the story felt a bit dated for his standards it was still entertaining enough, that when his door slowly creaked open and Aqua showed up in her pajamas craddling a bottle of wine like it was a teddy bear.
"Mummy can you sing me a lullaby?"
Aqua said in a tired voice. Kazuma then replied in an equally tired voice
"And why would I do that"
"Because Mummy's are supposed to sing their children to sleep"
"Im not your fucking- you know what fine just get in bed sweetie I'll be there in a moment"
Kazuma is now sitting at the side of Aqua's bed now deciding what to sing or if he should just try and bail, all it takes is seeing Aqua's hopeful stare before he just takes a deep breath and starts to sing
"Fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars... let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars... in other words hold my hand... in other words darling kiss me"
Aqua's eyes had started to close and Kazuma thought
"It wouldn't hurt to stroke her hair to make her fall asleep faster would it?"
and that's exactly what he did slowly stroking Aqua's hair before resuming his lullaby
"Fill my heart with song and let me sing forever more... you are all I long for all I worship and adore... in other words please be true and in other words I.Love.You."
Aqua had now completely fallen asleep as Kazuma sung those final words with a snore to accompany it. Kazuma found himself smiling at the image before whispering softly
"Sleep tight little goddess"
As Kazuma walked out of Aqua's room and into his room he picked up his book and had one singular thought for the rest of the night
"Maybe it wouldn't be too bad to become this useless goddess' Mom"
