Sweat trickled down their faces as they trained under the fiery sun. Proud in their leather attire, and swift with their weapons; men and women were gathered on the luscious, green lawns surrounded by tall bushes. Archers sharpened their arrows and tightened the strings on their bows as swordsmen battled it out on special podiums. Some weren't even using weapons but were working on their stamina; taking laps around the lawn or testing their boxing on the punching bags.
Headmaster Codatorta was giving one of his welcoming speeches to the first-years, telling them about the successful alumni of Red Fountain. His laughter boomed throughout the field when he made a joke causing some first-years to blush in embarrassment, shift uncomfortably on their feet, or look at him weirdly.
'What is this old man laughing at?'
'If only I could leave...'
'Who's gonna tell him, he wasn't funny?'
'I'm sure with more effort, he could make me laugh next time' ran through their heads. The big man cleared his throat before continuing his speech. He introduced them to Riven, one of his best specialists in combat, who's serving a year's worth of community service for his insolence last year. He urges them to not be a Riven and Riven rolled his eyes at him, and asked why he would tell them that.
"You're lucky you didn't get expelled," Codatorta whispered and Riven rolled his eyes once again - he wasn't even answering his question. He tells the second-year that wants to have a word with Head Guards Noura and Marco.
"They're your chickens now," He patted his shoulder.
"Why can't Silva do it?" Riven protested but Codatorta already left. He sighed and looked at the first-years annoyed, "Look, I rather be sleeping than teaching you guys shxt, okay? So I suggest you listen to everything I say and we won't have any problems, clear?"
The first-years nodded aggressively causing Riven's lips to curl upwards, "Good."
Meanwhile a few meters down, there were a blonde boy and a pink-haired girl circling each other on a podium - sizing up each other. Both had short wooden swords tightly gripped in their hands. The blonde had a smirk on his face, "Nice to see you again, Roxy."
Roxy rolls her eyes at his smugness, 'Some things never change'. Seeing the opportunity, Sky attacks at full speed, aiming at her head. Catching him in time, Roxy deflected his sword but Sky attacks again, jabbing her in the side. Wincing on impact, Roxy kneed him in his balls and held her side with her left hand.
Sky stumbled for a bit but regained his composure. Charging again with a bit of fury, he went for her unarmed hand but Roxy sidesteps it. They circled each other again, heavily breathing. Each one waiting for the other to aggress.
Sky goes for her weak side again, jabbing once more. "Would you stop doing that?" Roxy yelled but Sky didn't seem to care. With each attack, he managed to hit a part of Roxy's body, until she fell to the ground and her sword lying a few meters away. Sky points his sword's tip at her nose and Roxy narrows her eyes at it. Sky turned on his heel feeling smug, and Roxy grabbed her sword. She gathered all the energy she could muster and screamed as she went for Sky's head.
Hearing her scream, the blonde spun around and blocked Roxy's attack. She charged again, trying to jab him somewhere but he deflected every move for as long as he can. Roxy's friend, Tecna, noticed how violent Roxy's getting and went to get something. Finally, Roxy managed to thwack the blonde hard in his side and he plummeted to the ground a few centimeters away. Approaching him with a sly smirk, she raised her sword above her head. Sky was barely catching his breath and his eyes were beginning to water. His face grew a light pink and his sweat was becoming more visible.
She was about to strike when her sword tipped out of hand and onto the podium. Roxy's head snapped to see an annoyed Tecna, holding a bow towards her. She threw it down and approached the podium.
"I thought we talked about this?" She asked, disappointed and Roxy scoffed. Sky hopped on his feet and yelled, "Are you crazy?" Roxy glared at him and spat on his boots. Fury engulfed Sky's face and he marched off the podium. Noticing this, Tecna rushes after him, shouting for him to wait.
Sky stops and turns to her, his arms folded. Tecna stops to catch her breath and once she does, she apologizes for Roxy's behavior. Sky looks at her confused, "Why would you apologize for her? She should be the one doing that," He said, annoyed, pointing a finger at the podium they were once on. A heavy sigh left her lips, "Roxy's been through a lot in her life, and... I know what she did was wrong but..."
She didn't know where she was going with this because Sky was right. She shouldn't be the one, apologizing but she felt it was the right thing to do - she was always apologizing for something or someone's action, whether or not it was a mistake of her own; her father always made sure she got that message.
"You're an abomination!" His voice echoed through the walls. "A sad, pathetic for a daughter!" He towered over her like a monster, ready to deliver his final bow. 8-year-old Tecna hung her head down in silence, silently wishing for him to stop. "I hope you die and rot in the Omega Dimension." was the last thing he said before tearing her homework to pieces.
Sky stared at her for a while and sighed. He placed his hands on his hips, "Look, I will think about it, okay?" Tecna barely put on a smile and nodded before leaving for the Archery Area. He left her in search of Codatorta; he wanted to talk to him about getting a new sparring partner and turns out he was discussing the state of the barrier with the Head Guards: Noura and Marco.
"Do you think it will hold if one of them attacks?" Noura asked, furrowing her eyebrows and wringing her hands. She was hoping coming to Alfea would guarantee her not seeing one again and suffer the same fate as her husband.
Marco laughed, throwing a hand around her shoulder, "Everything will be fine, Nou. Boss lady, uses Alfea's heart's essence to create the barrier so even if they try; they would have to destroy the heart first."
Noura looked at him and chuckled. "You know you're stupid, right?" She then smiled and thanked him for his assurance and he responded saying, "Anytime." Codatorda was about to say something but Sky cut him off, demanding that he wants a new partner because Roxy is the worst. Codatorda tells him he needs to calm down and maybe he should talk to Riven. Sky sighed, not wanting to argue, and headed towards his suitemate who was watching a boy and girl spar. He stood beside him and his nose flared at Sky.
"Well, you're sweating more than Codatorta making good jokes, what happened?" Riven mocked.
"Ha. Ha. Ha." Sky rolled his eyes before explaining Roxy almost killed him again and Riven burst out laughing, asking if he wasn't trying to kill her first. Sky was about to say something but was cut off by the sudden thump and groan of the boy Specialist. Instantly, Riven jumped on the podium and helped him up. He straightened his posture and told him that his stance is weak. He turned his body to the side to present a smaller target and slightly bent his knees for balance and agility. He spread his feet about two shoulder widths apart and placed his hands up to protect his head. Smiling and patting his shoulders, he then walked off the podium and Sky titled his head at him.
"Why do you even care about these kids?" He asked and Riven grinned, "Didn't you hear? They're my chickens now."
Classes were over and the orientation party was now in session. The place was crawling with first-years and a few upperclassmen rocking to the DJ's killer tunes, watching the party from afar or raiding the refreshment table under the teachers' hawk-like surveillance.
Flora had been looking for Bloom most of the time; she wanted to introduce her to the rest of the girls since they all went to classes when they were done talking. Tired, she went to the refreshment table, and spotted Aisha and Stella having a deep conversation while Musa was focusing on the many exotic foods from the 6 planets; Moon Muffins from Solaria, Barbecued Fog Bandicoots from Zenith, False Lemongrass Cookies from Linphea, Roc Bread from Eraklyon, Kelpie Pastries from Melody, and Grilled Silver Barnacles from Andros.
The brunette took up a moon muffin and thought that after spilling out her whole backstory to her, Varanda would come. It was like those times where she would tell her father about the latest things at her school and he would rudely tell her, "I'm busy, contact me next time" or when she asked her mother to come to one of her award ceremonies and she would never show. "I had a late shift last night, maybe next time?" She was so heartbroken that not even the award could cheer her up. She would always be 'next time' and a moment like this further proves it. She took a bite of the muffin and slowly chewed on its condiments.
"Are you okay?" Musa asked which snapped Flora out of her stance.
"Huh, what? Me, oh no, I'm fine... Fine. Fine. Fine! Actually, I'm better than fine!" Musa blinked at her and a bright pink crept its way on Flora's cheek. She looked away, mentally facepalming herself. 'Way to make a fool of yourself, Flora.'
Someone approached Flora and put their hands over her eyes. Stunned, Flora took a step back and bumped into something. "
"Guess who..." They whispered in her ear and Flora's face lit up.
"Terra?" She guessed. The hands were removed and the brunette looked behind her and she squealed. She hugged her cousin like it's goodbye which made Terra laugh at her gesture and returned it. Flora turned to the rest of the girls and introduced each other. The girls exchange greetings and Flora adds that she's a variant fairy. Aisha raised her eyebrow at her, "Oh? I've never met a variant fairy before. How does your power vary?"
"She can bore through solid matter, however, due to her being an Earth fairy, her ability is limited to only natural things," Stella explained and Aisha nodded.
"Interrupting people as always, Stella," Terra smiled at her old roommate and Stella waves her off. She then pressed her lips and asked Terra if she heard anything from Ricki. Terra shook her head, which Stella frowned at but immediately forced a smile when she realized she can't be seen like this.
"Oh okay," She tells Terra, unsurely.
She looks at Flora and asks her where's Varanda and Flora shrugged, trying to brush off it. Speaking of the redhead, she was fixing her shoe which seemed to have a mind of its own. She dropped her foot on the ground, shoving her foot into the shoe. Finally, it slipped in, and she closed her eyes, walking proudly. "Take that shoe!" She smirked. She rubbed her arms and taught maybe she shouldn't have come but she promised Flora she would co-
"Oof," She fell to the ground.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry," A voice gasped and a hand was placed in front of her. Bloom followed the direction of it to see a concerned pair of blue eyes staring back. Their dark, curly hair barely stopped at their shoulders and had a crystal heart necklace hanging from their neck. Bloom took her hand and complemented their necklace. They smiled and said it was a gift from their girlfriend.
"Wanna join the party?" They gestured to the main hall. Bloom's eyes looked at the crowd having the time of their lives, laughing and squealing the evening away. Bloom felt a knot in her stomach turn and she looked back at her new friend, saying she's good, and asked for directions to the library.
Bloom didn't expect Alfea's research system to be so deep in the library, or for the librarian, to explain its location in such bitterness, and she still wanted to know how so. It was a butterfly-based podium on top of a three-tiered staircase with a golden color that dazzled under the light above. Entranced by its radiant beauty, Bloom was lowered in like a mouse in a mousetrap. She stood on the last stair and brushed off the dust particles. 'A source you can trust' twinkled beautifully in italics.
"Domino!" Bloom yelled but nothing seemed to happen. 'Maybe it's broken?' She taught and tried again. Nothing. All she could hear was the sound of her steady heartbeat and controlled breathing. Sighing, she thought of another thing she could look for. 'The Burned Ones?' Her mind questioned.
"Burned Ones!" She yelled once again. Racing at lighting speed, a book slowly descended towards the podium. 'The History Of Sparks' the title dazzled in silver, on the book's plain blue color. It opened itself to somewhere around the middle. The words were so tiny and cursive that Bloom had to squint her eyes. Suddenly, the book closed shut which baffled the redhead. 'What the-' She put her hands on the side of the cover and pulled back with all the force she could muster. Groaning and moaning, she tried to open it for the second time but one thing led to another and she ended up in a whirlpool of books.
Her heart pumped hard and her eyes darted around for anyone, crying for help. This went on for 20 minutes until she realized... she was all alone. Her breathing started to slow as she remembered being in the bathroom - no one was coming for her. Maybe that's why the flames burned fury; it represented her pain and suffering as it explored the glorious school taking away its serene atmosphere. Maybe that's why she wears blue; it represented her timidity to stand up to others or her stubbornness to come out of her shell. Either way, it was all rooted in her sadness and desperation. The books dropped like mosquitoes and Bloom looked around frantically.
"Who's there?" She demanded.
"Show yourself!" Her breathing started to heightened again and her heart pounded loudly. She heard a slight chuckle but couldn't see where it's coming from.
"You know, that thing is broken," A voice spoke. Bloom found herself face to face with another redhead. Her hair was tied in a bun, and she was wearing a black lace romper with knee-high boots. Bloom's face turned crimson and she looked away from her.
"What are you looking for?" She asked, happily. Bloom responds that she's looking for anything relating to Domino or the Burned Ones and the girl smirked, deviously. "Right, come this way."
Sky had just finished his shower after working all evening at the diner. He hadn't anticipated so many customers to come by, but he had to do whatever it takes, even if some demanded the manager on him - his mother could barely stand on her own feet while his little brother can't even stay two years at a school. He had a lot on his plate and his schoolwork wasn't even helping.
A light breeze brushed against his wet body sending chills down his spine. Water droplets tickled his skin causing him to reach for his towel to dry them. Seeing the windows and curtains slightly opened near his desk, Sky walks over to close them. He sighs and leans on the curtain, looking at his phone relaxing in the lamp's light.
'What would life be if my father wasn't a piece of shxt?'His mind prompted.'Maybe Junior wouldn't be so rude and have to be switching schools every minute or maybe we wouldn't be so behind in bills/rents.'
He can't turn back the clock now, what has been done is done, and there's nothing more he can do but hope that things get better.
Sky's phone started to vibrate and the word 'MOM' lit up on the screen with the video call icon buzzing at the bottom and the blonde's lips curled upwards. He took up the phone and walked towards his bed, answering it, "Hey mom, what's up?"
His mother was wearing her usual large bathrobe, and her arms engulfed herself. Her eyes were weary and red that they began to water and her blonde hair was in a mess. Despite her appearance, her smile was wholehearted and warm. She tells Sky she's fine and that she's just checking up on him. Sky's heart couldn't help but flutter at her consideration.
"Thanks... are you taking your meditations?" Sky asked and his mother's lips went thin.
"Yes, of course, I'm too young and beautiful to die," She teased, waving him off and Sky laughed louder than a stadium full of fans.
"Whatever you say. Can I talk to Junior?" Sky asked and the old woman hummed. She started to yell the little boy's name, and lift her weight off of the chair. 'Andreas! Andreas Jr! Your brother wants to speak with you!' Sky requests that she doesn't scream so her blood pressure doesn't go up but the old woman ignores him. She stumbles when she stands up and grabs her crane, still yelling Junior's name even more. She left for a few minutes and Sky took the time to put on some clothes because Junior would probably roast him.
"This better be good, I had to delay my sleep time for you," He grumbled, putting his head on his hand and Sky chuckled. He noticed that he was in his dinosaur-patterned pajama shirt and smiled for a bit.
"Well, if it isn't Mr. Angst himself. Hello to you too, Junior." Sky smiled and Junior grew impatient.
"What do you want?" He whined. Sky's face twisted in worry and concern, "Has mom been... taking her medications?" He asked with a lower tone. Junior sat up with his eyebrows furrowed together and a frown on his face. He informs that she's been getting a bit abusive by the mere mention of it.
"Well you got to look out for mom, you're the man of the house now," Sky smiled and Junior rolled his eyes. "No, I'm not."
"Yes, you are..." Sky insists in a sing-song voice.
"No, I'm not..." Junior mimicked and pondered on why he would leave a 15-year-old in charge of the house anyways.
Sky smirked with a raised eyebrow, "Did you know that your name means, 'man'?" Junior clenched his fists and rage boiled his blood. 'Why is he always like this? He never genuinely spends time with me and when he does, it's either about him or some other unimportant crap. I never seemed to be the focus of any of his thoughts.'
"Ugh! Would you just stop already? I'll never be a man; I don't go out and work for a better life. I didn't get a scholarship to go to a prodigious school and ended out at the top of my class. I don't have girls swooning over me every second and asking for my number. I'm a nobody and that's all I'd ever be." The brunette snapped, making Sky taken back by his outburst. He didn't expect his brother to think of himself as a lesser being much less be jealous of him - he always admired his selfless nature despite his carefree attitude. He was there when he needed him, and that's what made him special.
"Let me tell you something, Junior; a man isn't defined by his looks, age, luck, or skills, but by how much he would do for the ones he loves." Sky smiled, trying to lighten the mood but Junior didn't seem to move a bit. He was staring at his hands the whole time he was ranting - he couldn't stand to see the one who's gonna save his family cause one day, he's going to leave him and his mother just like his father, it was only a matter of time too. He ended the call, feeling tired and miserable while Sky on the other line, sighed tiredly, "Maybe I should give him some time to relax," He said.
Few people were present at the orientation party as the orange sky darkened over the school. Certain students fell prey under the teacher's harsh endeavor. It was almost time for the party to over and everybody should be heading back to their suites however Flora decided to dance some more on the dance floor.
Stella had left to a talk with her girlfriend while Aisha and Musa returned back to the suite saying they were tired. She was all alone in a place full of strangers but it wouldn't stop her from enjoying her time. Swaying her hips and pumping her fists, she moved to the music's hypnotic beat - a feeling she hadn't felt in a long time. Her belly groaned loudly and a girl twisted her face in disgust. Flora apologized, placing a hand on her belly and the girl rolled her eyes. She came off the dancefloor and returned to the refreshment table where a few students were gathered.
"Wow, this is your third time," A voice mocked. 'Who was that?' Flora's mind questioned as her eyes looked all over the place. The same voice let out a chuckle and her eyes finally landed on a dark-skinned boy in front of her, with a wide grin on his face. His dark brown eyes sparkled with cheekiness under the room's radiant light and his arms were folded in a military stance. A bright red tint crept its way on her cheeks and her hand unconsciously took up another moon muffin.
A certain pink-haired girl notices Flora's situation and a mischievous smile appears on her face. She toughened up her expression and sides with Flora, arms crossed. "Leave her alone, don't you see you're making her uncomfortable?" She scolds.
The guy quickly apologizes once he realizes what he has done. Flora looks at the pink-haired girl and she winked at her, causing the brunette to blush even more. The pink-haired girl laughed and Flora took some time to realize what happened and chuckled with her. The guy, finally catching to what they did, laughed as well. Once they were done, they introduced themselves to each other; the guy was Dane and the pink-haired girl was Tecna.
"So, how are you enjoying the party so far?" Dane asked. Flora screams and says it's the most fun she had in a while whereas Tecna replied that it was better than the one last year. Dane and Flora looked at each other, confused then back at Tecna and asked what she meant. Sighing, she told them about a boy Riven getting into a fight with a boy and they ended up trashing the whole place and hurting a few people. Dane's face fell when he heard about Riven's past - he genuinely seemed to be a good guy despite people saying he has a short temper. He wonders if maybe it's his affection for him interfering with his judgment.
"Maybe he had a reason to fight...?" Dane asked. A small part of him hoped that somewhere deep down, there was a kind soul who just got the bad end of the stick. Tecna shrugged, saying she isn't aware of the reasoning behind the fight which caused Dane to frown - maybe falling in love with him was too fast, he thought. Noticing his mood, Flora asks if he's a fairy or specialist and Dane's frown curled upwards.
"I'm a specialist, specializing in the area of swordsmanship," Dane said proudly and Flora stared at him, blankly. The specialist rubbed the back of his head, nervously and smiled, "Maybe I shouldn't have said that last part."
"Definitely," Flora laughed and turned her attention to Tecna who was looking at her phone. "So what area do you specialize in Tecna?" No response. "Tecna?" Feeling a cold hand on her bare shoulder, the pink-haired girl snapped out of her trance and looked around saying "What?".
"Are you okay?" Flora's forehead ceased. A fake smile appeared on Tecna's face and said she's fine. "Okay..." Flora said, unsurely, and repeated her question. Too angry to reply, Tecna abruptly announces that she has to leave and she will see them next time and rushes off in a distance, pushing people out of the way.
"What's up with her?" Dane watched the direction Tecna headed off to.
"I don't know..." Flora said, looking longingly at her new friend.
Farah didn't expect it to be so hard - it was supposed to be a quick kill-and-cover up but instead felt like another battle for her survival. She thought the one on Earth was the last she was going to see of this thing but even she needed help with that which led her to wonder; what was so different with these Burned Ones? They looked no different from the ones she had seen the last 30 years.
Her memories of Sparks' Sorrow were as clear as day; many strong men and women fought mercilessly against these inhumane beings but sadly their efforts weren't enough... for their bodies acted as valleys to their blood streaming like rivers on a stormy day. Lots of families and friends were lost and Sparks started to lose its meaning. It wasn't one big magic dimension living happily as one but instead a dimension yearning for its lost souls.
Sighing, she thought maybe she should have some rest and think about it in the morning, there was nothing to do about her situation now. A gasp left her lips when she saw her office door wide open and the door to the restricted, emergency use only spells' area shifted. Immediately, her legs marched into the restricted area and closed the door along with the office's own. The smell of dust was no surprise to her as her heels clicked on the pavement.
"What's going on here?" Farah marched in, wrinkles ceasing on her forehead. Papers, books, and scrolls scattered like ants on the floor - Farah's eyes landed on Griffin waving an uncloaking device around the place - the mist dancing like ballerinas in the air.
"The Legendarium was stolen," Griselda straightened a scroll before putting it in its original position.
"What? Where were you guys?" She asked, disappointment evident in her tone.
"Watching over the students, making sure they weren't up to anything," Griselda informed, taking up a next scroll.
"They sure left no clues for us to follow," Griffin announced, staring at the mist. This device was supposed to reveal what sort of magic was used and proved to be successful in the past. Farah orders her to try something else, and Griffin turns and snaps saying that's the last useful method they have and how they have been trying for the past hour.
Griffin narrows her eyes at her, suspiciously, "Where were you?" Farah looked at her, blankly, her hands hiding in her pockets. She took a gulp, making sure not to give away anything - it wasn't the right time to tell them and she wasn't sure when it would be. She wasn't planning on losing a next friend, and driven by fear that they would repeat Codatorta's mistake - she had to keep it to herself. Griffin was having enough of Farah's nonsensical behavior, although she hadn't said anything earlier, she was hoping Griselda hadn't given Stella the key. She had been so secretive lately, it reminded her about the time where she instantly snapped at her and Griselda, only to find out that she had lost her friend, Luna. The tension was so thick that not even a knife could cut it.
"Let me try something," Griselda broke the awkward silence. She walked to the middle of the room, her hands dangling beside her plus-sized body. Once she was there, she closed her eyes, remembering the spell. Her eyes widened with a forest green as a pair of wings popped from her back, "De rerum natura dea, te petere auxilium tuum ostendere quod erat aliquid furatus!" She said, throwing her hands up in the air.
Books, papers, and scrolls returned to their original position as a light green color spread across the room. Silva looked around nervously while Farah and Griffin remained unfazed. The doors bulged wide open, but nothing seemed to be there or at least that's what it looked like. Farah's brown eyes glowed white as she heard a slight noise on the ground.
"What are you looking at? There's clearly nothing there," Silva said, and a grunt came from Griselda. She was squeezing her eyes and shaking her head. Her arms were starting to biome noodles and so were her knees. The spell was too strong for her to manage. It was stupid of her to try one of these spells, knowing that she wasn't strong enough for them but it was all for Farah. Maybe she thought proving her loyalty would make her actually tell her something.
The green color was starting to fade and the inventory was reverting back to their positions. Her wings and green glow disappeared and her knees lost their balance. Luckily in time, Silva managed to catch her and bring her slowly to the ground. Her eyes were no longer a warm brown but instead a pale one. Worried, Silva gently shoves her, pleading for her to wake up. Farah hovers her with a creased forehead and fretful eyes - she didn't know how to feel about this situation, probably, 'sad-mad' is the word; mad that she allowed her friend to risk her life for a spell and she didn't stop it or sad that she might be in this state forever and allowed for it to happen. Whichever is the case, it was all her fault and she didn't do anything to stop it.
Silva lifted her chin and fell for her voice box. He slid his fingers into the groove between her voice box and the large left tendon on her neck. A rhythmic throbbing was felt under his fingers and his face lit up in happiness. He reveals that she's alive and a small smile appears on Farah's face.
Griffin sighs of relief, and stooped down to her, "She seems to be in some kind of trance."
"Get her to Ofelia, and tell her to keep it hush, hush. We'll search the whole school tomorrow; they mustn't have gotten far," She instructed and stormed out of the place. Silva and Griffin looked at the door jam, still hearing the echoes of Farah's heels. Griffin didn't like how tense she was and brushed off the fact that Griselda is unconscious.
"She's hiding something..." Griffin commented, and Silva furrowed his eyebrows at her.
"Yeah, but... what?"
Meanwhile... deep in Gloomy Wood Forest; a misty place known for the screams of lost souls, begging for someone to hear their desperate cries. No one dares to venture into this place at night - not without proper protection anyway. The moon looked down at the trees with its shimmering glow, shining through the little holes between the leaves. The leaves clung on the branches, desperately trying to survive the harsh winds.
In the middle of the forest stood a barn that had seen better days; its rusted zinc clattered against the cement walls but it didn't bother the girl inside. Nothing could bother her; not the eerie, harsh winds or the foul odor coming from the rotting body in the corner. She had waited months to hold this book so she can pay justice to those who took away her happiness.
The Legendarium contains many powerful spells about lost myths and dark arts and it was finally in her grasp. She skipped the pages so fast that they almost tore from the spine. She stopped at a page, her finger grazing over two words in bold, 'Quam Resurgent'. Her lips curled up into a smile, finally, her plan was coming altogether.
