Hello guys.
Well, here's another chapter off and running. I want to thank those who gave such support for this fic with wanting to see more.
Oh, to the Tony people who come after this story you realize all you do is just fuel me to write more anti-Tony Stark fics, right? The Dinah Laurel Lance idiots over in the Arrowverse tried that bullcrap, and it didn't go like planned for getting me to quit.
Not much to add so on with the story.
Sometime later outside a café in Queen's, New York
Gwen Stacy an attractive yet physically fit older teenage girl is wearing a dark-colored long sleeve shirt under a green jacket with blue jeans and has long flowing blonde hair while at a round table.
Across from Gwen is Peter Parker her boyfriend who has a lean, muscular yet attractive body with brown hair while wearing a blue hoodie over a gray T-shirt. On Peter's legs are blue jeans and like Gwen gray sneakers. Currently, they are finishing up eating seven hamburgers and four plates of fries. One drawback of their powers is an increased metabolism that while allows them to eat whatever it does mean they have to eat far more than a normal person would.
"You haven't said much during our lunch. You alright?" Gwen asks in curious concern.
"Not much to say, well I could talk about some topic sure but merely enjoying our time together given our busy lives. Plus, the quiet nature of the day to or as quiet as New York can be" Peter says.
"Well, it is peaceful out," Gwen says grinning "And yes we've gotten so busy it's kind of rare for us to just enjoy this kind of day."
"Yeah, got a letter from Toomes the other day who's keeping to good behavior," Peter says "Frankly I just can't help but feel sorry for him. Like I get Toomes chose a life of crime, that's on Vulture but in the two years since we fought, I can understand his points regarding Stark."
"Agreed. Honestly, he gives people who are wealthy and want to help a bad name. Frankly, it seems like his development has gone backwards" Gwen replies.
"Moving off one of my least favorite topics I'm glad we are finally out of high school given leaving last week," Peter says.
"Indeed. Now off to ESU well maybe online classes given our other life but I would enjoy going in-person" Gwen says.
"You should go," Peter says.
Confused frown "What about you? I've recalled a few times you've mentioned about wanting to go to college" Gwen states.
"Life changes and besides as you noted there are online classes these days," Peter says.
"Spiderman can't take over your life. My father is the captain of NYPD and lives. You need to quit blaming yourself for getting sucked into Stark's mind games" Gwen says warmly.
"It hasn't taken over my life, I have Aunt May and you. For Stark, I just wish I woke up to his crap earlier instead of letting my hero-worship out of control. And discovered my parent's box containing evidence of Tony Stark stealing my parent's arc reactor tech or the formula to create my web-shooters before I got used" Peter says bleakly.
"Even still be careful. Kind of surprised Aunt May didn't show you that box when first started working for Stark" Gwen notes.
"Given he became Iron Man we thought he changed somewhat, and my aunt wanted me to learn through my own actions. Besides Aunt May didn't even know dad put the box in the basement" Peter explains.
"Oh, how are you liking the camera Aunt May got you for your birthday last month?" Gwen inquires.
"I actually haven't found myself able to use it yet. Just Uncle Ben was at the camera shop to get mine repaired… when well you know" Peter says grimly.
"Maybe you just have to find the right scene for pictures" Gwen replies.
"Like you?" Peter asks.
A certain lustful look in her eyes "I'd be fine with that bug boy. Just how dirty are we talking? Having sex?" Gwen replies smirking.
"That's uh… not what I meant," Peter says blushing.
Suddenly both feel a familiar pain in the back of their skull with managing to quickly leap out of the chairs, and off to the side as an orange pumpkin bomb hits the table exploding. Getting up both ignore citizens running in various directions while looking at the thing muscle-sized figure on a glider wearing a gray suit, with an orange hood and cloak. Having a mask covering his face including red-eye lenses for protection.
Hobgoblin throws another bomb which explodes into a flashbang with using it to escape. Briefly, Peter and Gwen after a few moments rub their eyes knowing they had to not react for keeping their secret powers. Of course, because of those very abilities, something like a plain flashbang does not affect them like a normal person would be.
Seeing her boyfriend's distress Gwen walks over with gripping Peter's left hand while tightening his right one into a fist.
"Ned," Peter says quietly "I wish you stayed away."
Gwen merely gives a gentle squeeze knowing that whatever is going through her boyfriend's head, it is not pleasant. Peter still blames himself for what happened to his former best friend. Events taking place nearly right before moving back into Queens Neighborhood once more, after their last house got destroyed from a firebomb set by the mobster Tombstone.
When first meeting Peter and Ned with deciding to become Spiderwoman is when the falling out already started. Put simply Ned was obsessed with the fame for guys like Tony Stark got, thought being a superhero was an adventure and never really understood why Peter didn't reveal his persona to the world like Stark did.
Ned Leeds thought being a superhero was a cool way to move on up in the world only their friendship ended for good when Ned tried exposing Peter and her to the public. After stopping him Ned vanished only to repair a month later having found Thaddeus Ross somehow with undergoing another attempt for recreating the serum that made Captain America gain powers.
Ross supposedly has connections to Norman Osborn the father of their childhood friend Harry. Norman operates a small, struggling company that specializes in weapons and science. The area of genetic research is what led to creating their only test spider bit Peter years ago when her friend visited Dr. Curt Conners exhibit during a field trip. During the trip, it was the same spider who bit her unknowingly to Peter.
First on Ned's return destroyed Peter and her socially by posting that they were carrying sexual illnesses from sleeping around and claimed all the sneaking off they did was trying to hack into the school databases to cheat on tests which almost had them expelled.
Needless it led to getting kicked off the Midtown Decathlon Team with the bullying increased along with being outcasts. Nobody in the classes of any grade wanted to talk to either of them. Plus posting stuff about their political views being against the grain including not supporting the Accords unlike a lot of teenagers or staff just prefer following along with whatever corrupt politicians say.
Even dressing up as Spiderman for duplicating his tech Ned framed the vigilante for being a thief on stealing from banks, and trains alongside attacking certain NYPD officers. Pretty much turning the entire city wanting Spiderman and Spiderwoman to get thrown in jail. Various news organizations from the Daily Globe, New York Times, Washington Post, The Alternative, etc. are extremely critical for attacking the Spider heroes.
One ally they do have in the news world is John Jonah Jamerson who's the Editor and Chief of the Daily Bugle is very critical of the other news organizations rushing out before all the facts are established and does his best to give them a fair shake. For various people on the ground knowing they are heroes well reaction is mixed.
Deciding to create his masterstroke Ned under the persona of the Hobgoblin attacked Spiderman and her only to be swiftly defeated then sent to Ravencroft prison.
"Come on," Peter says suddenly.
Taking his girlfriend by the hand Peter and she manages to quietly leave with sneaking into a nearby alleyway quickly climbing up a wall. Upon reaching the roof both quickly change into their suits kept underneath their clothes with taking off high above the city streets via webs.
The suit is solid red besides the back, running from the wrists to down his waist underneath Peter's arms, and pants are all a dark blue. Covering all the red parts is black webbing meanwhile a red spider is located on Spiderman's back. Placed on the cowl are protective white eyepieces outlined in black able to adjust based on eye movement, and a small dark-colored spider placed in the middle of Spiderman's chest.
Meanwhile, Gwen swinging through the air is wearing a different-looking outfit. A white bodysuit covering her entire body including Gwen's hands only for the legs, and part of Gwen's upper body is black. Running from underneath her armpits down to Spiderwoman's elbows is red with white webbing. Gwen's full-face cowl has white pieces for the eyes surrounded by red and a bleached dyed hood obscuring her head.
Spiderman and Spiderwoman keep swinging high above the streets at a brisk rate quickly covering entire blocks in a matter of minutes.
Only nearing the Daily Bugle building both in tune with spider-sense turn midair while swinging themselves around to avoid three more pumpkin bombs thrown at them which explode. Flying on his glider Ned Leeds throws out a round disk which admits a loud screeching noise.
Spiderman and Spiderwoman disoriented by the noise, even worse due to their enhanced hearing plus spider-sense, let go of the webs crashing painfully into the nearby roof. As both vigilantes attempt climbing to their feet Hobgoblin pitches two pumpkin devices which explode into tiny razor-sharp bats. The blades flying in slicing at various parts of Peter and Gwen's suits cutting lightly into the skin drawing minor blood but not much due to more durable skin.
Gliding in Hobgoblin lands stepping off his vehicle while walking over. Ned throws a punch hitting Peter right in his chest sending him flying back through the air into the asphalt-covered ground. Meanwhile, Gwen made her way over to air-conditioning unit manages to rip it free, and throws it towards the circular device destroying it. Ned throws a pumpkin bomb at Spiderwoman who despite flipping aside is caught in its explosion sending her over the edge. Gwen lets out a scream, not from the fall but rather due to the explosive some of her suit along Gwen's upper body is burned off and leaving angry, red flesh in its wake.
Thankfully, Gwen manages to reach out planting a hand and foot onto the glass hissing painfully from the impact. Despite having sticking powers doesn't mean suddenly stopping negates velocity, something Gwen knows once more if not for the agility powers Peter and her share it would have likely ripped her limbs right off. And resulted in her falling to her death with being a messy impact down below Gwen begins making the climb back up.
Meanwhile back on the roof Spiderman once more on his feet rushes forward rapidly reaching Hobgoblin who attempts to punch Parker. Only Parker swiftly catches the fist and kicks him backward. Landing Hobgoblin scrambling to his feet lobs more pumpkin bombs concealed within pockets inside his suit while Spiderman either using his webs throws them aside or backflips or twists out of the way.
"Really Hobby you don't seem to be getting this, you may use some advanced serum but you're still a fat slob who's more concerned over his ego. Your pathetic Leddy" Peter quips jeeringly.
"Don't you ever shut up?" Hobgoblin yells throwing another bomb.
"No, he really doesn't, I love the guy but even I think he runs his mouth too much" a female voice rings out from nearby.
Hobgoblin looks over to see Gwen casually perched on the roof's ledge while Spiderman backflips out of the way from Ned's bomb.
"Oh, I'm ignoring you both, my adoring fans love my motor mouth" Peter quips while landing on his feet.
Pressing a tiny button on his wrist Hobgoblin smiles as across the street explosives on a water tower's base explodes resulting in the massive object hurling towards the ground.
"The good old hero's issue, chase me or save the civilians who hate your guts so easily. Maybe if you were Iron Man the superstar you could do both Peter" Hobgoblin says.
Rushing over to his glider Ned climbs on flying off while Spiderman quickly fires a web attaching itself to the vehicle, leaps up pulling the vehicle down once more onto the roof destroying it while simultaneously firing a web across the street to another building. Rapidly swinging into a curve Spiderman letting go dive bombs downwards with landing before lifting his hands upwards stopping the water tower in his grasp effortlessly.
Chucking the tower upwards Spiderman rapidly sprays webs between various buildings with supporting it in a net carefully. Turning Peter sees the various people around him all happy for being saved. Well, a few are casting glares in his direction, probably thinking he planned the entire thing, but most are pleased. A few individuals are voicing how they like him, Spiderwoman, Daredevil with others like Jessica Jones or Luke Cage because they are on the ground while the Avengers are always off in other countries or up in their ivory tower.
"Thanks for the support guys and get home safe," Peter says grinning.
Firing off a web up onto a building Spiderman pulls himself up rapidly and quickly swings back to the Daily Bugle where Gwen is now standing over Ned whose webbed up. Spiderman walks over to his former friend whose glaring hatefully.
"I'm only going to ask this once Leddy who let you out of Ravencroft? Was it former Sectary Hitler?" Peter inquires harshly.
"All I'm going to tell you is I was nothing more than a distraction. I hoped you said goodbye to your aunt this morning. Stark's done playing around for you guys not following his rules" Ned replies viscously.
In response, Peter punches his former friend in the face breaking his jaw in various places sending Hobgoblin unconscious.
"Everybody from our parents to the Defenders could be in danger, we've all seen the press conferences of Stark pretty much losing it once the Accords have been repealed with the Avengers returning home," Gwen says in horror.
"Yeah, we need to get to them as quickly although I don't think Daredevil and the others are on Tony Stark's list right now. They mostly stick to Hell's Kitchen or Harlem, let's face it we are on his higher list" Peter says.
"Are you sure or are you just hoping?" Gwen asks.
"Hoping… but even if we are wrong, they can handle themselves against armed merc's. We need to get May and your parents somewhere safe first" Peter says.
"I just hope we make it in enough time" Gwen says.
Looking over his girlfriend "You, okay?" Peter asks feeling a surge of anger at Hobgoblin mixed with care at her.
"I'll live and besides, they'll heal" Gwen replies.
"Okay," Peter says.
Within moments Spiderman and Spiderman are off the rooftop swinging away.

Okay first I am addressing something I didn't even realize until a short while back is adding to the list of things making Peter into Iron Boy, MCU has completely gotten rid of Peter's love for photography.
That's like Clark Kent who's not a reporter. Not even a mention or anything. Smallville had Lois for the longest time mention she had no interest in reporting, but at least they acknowledged it.
MCU's Peter Parker is a self-insert of a young Tony fan who got powers, talks a lot, and wears a spider suit.
Onto talking I wanted to restore Peter making quips, not just run-on sentences where he rambles about crap just since Disney/Marvel is so afraid of making somebody gets offended. Like screw the PC on hurt feelings, Peter makes offensive quips to get under bad guy's skins.
Another thing is Peter despite having to put up with Flash's antics seems to just be a popular guy in high school. Not the out-cast loner in the comics, which the Andrew Garfield film got that down very well for updating Peter yet kept the core part being an outcast the same.
So wanted to restore the outcast Peter in MCU and had Gwen get hit by proxy obviously. And for Peter's hard life as Spiderman to.
Like I'm not coming at this as a "Oh it has to be the comics or else" since I enjoy stuff just fine without it being comic panel duplicate.
But you have to at least be respectful of the source material something when it comes to Spiderman the MCU despite doing a good job on various other heroes dropped the ball majorly on Spiderman to service Tony/RDJ.
Next, I made Ned into Hobgoblin, which he is in the comics, with using the serum to explain his weight loss and physique.
On JJJ I wanted to change it up from nearly every other media and have him as a somewhat ally to Peter rather than one more news site wanting Spiderman's head.
