A dull thump reverberated off the metal walls quickly followed by another. The sound in question was originating from a young man 21 years of age as his fist hit the punching bag. It's been nine years since he had been awaken from his simulated home. As his fist struck the bag once again his mind wandered through the important moments over the years.

Four months after awakening

Slim hands grip the guardrail as he took measured steps. Slowly getting stronger under the watchful 'eye' of his nurse eyebot. "You are progressing nicely Naruto in a few weeks you should be able to walk freely" the bot said as it hovers next to him. "Its only because you and the others believe in me" the young boy chirped with a foxy grin plastered on his face.

One year and two months

"GET UP MAGGOT I HAVE SEEN RADROACHS WITH MORE STAMINA THAN YOU". A Mister Gutsy barked as Naruto forced himself up after another painful sit up. "Yes Sir Drill Sergeant Sir" the boy shouted out as the bot floated around him.

year three

The sound of gunfire riped through the silence as Naruto took cover behind a lifted barricade. The Gutsys may have been using rubber bullets for this exercise but by god they still hurt. The 10 mm SMG he had been given for the test smoked as the barrels crown glowed as another bot fell victim to a hail of gunfire. A loud buzz ended the test "That's all for today check in with medical" a robotic voice sounded from the P.A system

Year six

The Wailing of a baby echoed down the halls as it thrashed in Naruto's arms. The new borns black hair was matted to its head the towel it was swaddle in was constantly pushed and pulled as she fought against the light and cold. Naruto walk into a pod room the spinning of gears and beeping of computers filled his ears as he walked over to the sleeper pod. "Come on Mirai will you calm down already" grumbled the young man as she grabbed a had full of his blond locks. Setting her gently into the pod with a small smile the top slid into place with a hiss as her crys quieted as the pod sent her mind home.

A eyebot floated into the room and approached Naruto. "Sir the Overseer requests your presents" with its job done it floated back out. Naruto sighed grabbed a towel from a nearby rack and headed out, the door closing behind him.
