She was promptly brought back to her bed by the boy introduced to her as Nick, "one of the leaders".

Her wound had opened a little from her little fiasco and Jeff was mumbling exasperatedly under his breath while working on her bandages again.

Newt soon arrived with a bowl of what looked like some lumpy kind of soup and a piece of bread half-soaking in it, looking a little bemused at the sight of the room.

He continued towards her and gave her the bowl, looking expectantly. She received it from him and made no move to eat.

"Are you gonna make me prove to you again that it's not poisoned?" Newt questioned, narrowing his eyes at her, only half-joking.

She shook her head.

Newt seemed to be pleased with her answer and turned to Nick, beginning to help him pick up off the ground the things she had made a mess of a few minutes and engaging him in a rather serious-sounding conversation. Something about someone called George, a dead head and wood stone carvings. Their expressions became somber. Even Jeff stopped muttering his complaints all of a sudden.

She, of-course, understood nothing that was being exchanged between them.

Instead of trying to understand, she looked down at the bowl and picked up the bread that was beginning to sadly sag deeper into the contents. Her stomach gave a lurch. She felt compelled to both stuff her face and gag at the same time. She gave a big swallow and lowered the bowl to her lap, fearing it would turn out to be the latter case. Anyway, the room felt too crowded to eat in.

"Sorry I've not been here to introduce myself earlier, Greenie. We've been a bit... occupied since you arrived. If you have any questions, Alby will be here soon to give you a tour if you are willing or... should I say able..?" Nick's eyes shifted to Jeff who was now done with her bandaging.

Jeff gave him a shrug and added, "well obviously it's up to Greenie since she won't stay put if we tell her to anyway." He sounded rather annoyed.

"I am willing. I want to know where I am," she answered quickly.

Jeff scoffed, shaking his head.

"Alright, but I suggest you eat first, Greenie. We can't have people carrying you around everywhere if you start passing out again." It was Newt.

He looked patiently at her but she noticed bags under his eyes. She suddenly realized that all three of them looked very tired and run-down. Perhaps she really had been as difficult as Jeff mentioned last night.

She fell silent and looked down at her bowl again, feeling a little guilty. Still, she felt a nervous buzz at the back of her neck. She didn't trust them.

"So, take your time and I'll be around if you need and.. we're gonna have to postpone your welcome bonfire for a few days since uh... we need some time to... say goodbye to a friend.. sorry about that,"

Nick avoided looking at her directly as he said this and when she didn't respond he added, "I'll leave you for now and Alby'll be here soon."

He looked at Newt, signaling towards the door before making his way out of the room.

Newt began following him. She looked down at her legs, contemplating on whether or not she could make a run for it again when the opportunity arises.

"Greenie?"

She looked up towards Newt who had turned back to her before disappearing out the door.

He had a stern look on his face as he simply said, "eat."
