~DRACO~
As his senses began to return to Draco the first thing he felt was the warmth of the sun on his face and the softness of the mattress beneath him, he opened his eyes and looked around the room softly. He was lying in a huge bed with lots of pillows, the whole room looked like it had been torn out of the seventeenth century, he had no idea where he was or how he got there. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a movement in the opposite corner of the room, with his back to him stood a rather short man, whose outfit did not match the decor of the room at all, he wore a long black tailcoat and on his head was a tall cylinder, as if nothing ever happened he was busy cleaning one of the windows. He started to rise from the bed but was interrupted by a pain bursting through his head, he let out a quiet moan, closing his eyes he reached up to rub his head. The man standing by the window seemed to hear him because he turned and walked towards the bed.
- I see you've finally woken up Mr. Malfoy, can I help you with something," said the man in his strangely hissy voice
- No, I don't need anything," Draco growled continuously rubbing his head with his eyes closed
- In that case, someone should show up in a little while, and until then I would advise you not to get up, you hit your head really hard - the man hissed.
When Draco opened his eyes and saw the appearance of the butler he jumped out of bed and stopped as close to the wall as he could, he rubbed his eyes in disbelief, maybe the impact had caused him to have delusions. The man standing in front of him was no more than sixty meters tall but that was not what was strange about him, the blond's main attention was caught by the greenish scales of scales coming down from the man's forehead towards his nose but also on his cheekbones and hands ending in sharp curved claws. Another frightening feature was his eyes, orange at the edges and yellow in the middle with a thin pupil slitting the iris vertically, not helped by his tongue either, thin and split at the end thrusting out of his mouth every few seconds and coming back in again along the way probing the air.
- Calm down, sit down and wait - The lizard man clearly noticed the horror on his face
The moment the animal butler took one more step towards him Draco sprang and ran for the nearest door.
- Come back, sir. He heard a shout from behind him, but the man didn't seem to be following him
He ran through the corridors of the huge mansion, passing all sorts of creatures, from the likes of gnomes to those who, if it weren't for their clothes and activities, he would never distinguish from normal animals, but what kind of beaver would carry a tray of teacups dressed in a shirt and pants. he saw a girl with spider legs and a bunch of little people no further than his knees in colorful vests with mushroom caps, he saw boys no older than seven or eight with dragonfly wings carrying a chair from one room to another. Each of the creatures stopped and glanced at him as if he were something abnormal. As he rushed through the halls he felt out of sorts in his body, he felt taller though it might have been the impression created by all those short creatures, his arms and legs seemed to be too long so he knocked down one of the vases standing on a table in one of the alcoves in the halls.
- Hey- He heard behind him the squeaky cry of a girl with blue hair and thin butterfly wings when a vase broke on the floor.
He ran out of the manor and through the garden and the whole way was accompanied by even more stares, there were even more creatures outside. Tree people taller than him at least twice strolled on the horizon, and green-skinned women whose clothes were made entirely of leaves and flowers tended the hedge. He stopped only when he reached a place where he seemed to see no one else, in the middle of the perfectly trimmed and manicured grass stood a low fountain, he approached it with a slow step and sat down breathless on its wall to rest, he sat still breathing deeply for several minutes. He turned to the water, dipped his hands in it and rubbed his face, when the water stopped rippling and Draco saw his reflection he froze. After what he had seen since he had just woken up he wasn't sure if he could trust his eyes, the light was so bright and the colors were as vibrant as ever not to mention the creatures, it had to be a dream. A very strange, realistic, dream caused by a fall and head injury, but there was a problem, he couldn't wake up. The person in the reflection imitated his face in thought, but it could not be him, he raised his hand and touched his cheek and the reflection did exactly the same,
- No, no no no - He repeated in a weepy tone realizing that it was really him
In his reflection in the surface of the water he didn't look like a teenager, he looked like an adult, his skin was pale and perfectly smooth, his cheekbones were high and his hair was snow white instead of blonde, tied in a ponytail at the back of his head and loose strands fell down the sides of his face. He hadn't realized it until now al his hair now reached almost halfway down his back, the only common link between Draco and the man before him were his eyes. Though even those storm grey eyes seemed to swirl in a mysterious way.
- It's all right - A warm female voice asked
Draco looked at her finally tearing his gaze away from the water, the woman looked like a human, the most ordinary human. She had dark brown curly hair, the most normal brown eyes, was slightly plump, and he didn't notice any wings, tail, horns, or disturbingly sharp teeth. She looked ordinary in a brown dress reaching past her mid calves, holding a basket of laundry in her hands, she didn't fit into this world she fit into the muggle world.
- Excuse me, do you know where we are," Draco asked in a quiet, uncertain voice
- Of course I know, I work here" - she said showing the basket in her hands - "We are at the court of Lord Aillard in Korjem, in the kingdom of Nenmaki" - she answered cheerfully correcting a strand of hair that had fallen into her face
- And you're human. - He felt silly asking that question, what if she wasn't human and that question offended her
- of course, who would I be if I were an elf or maybe a nymph - The woman laughed warmly and Draco was a little relieved that he hadn't offended her.
- so this is Mr. Ailar's mansion- The blonde started
- Mr. Aillard's mansion - The woman corrected him quickly
- And this Mr. Aillard is also a man - He asked, saying his name correctly this time
- No, Mr. Aillard is a high elf like you - explained the woman in a slightly surprised tone and her gaze was fixed somewhere behind him
- But I don't... - He didn't finish explaining because the woman interrupted him again
- Hello Lord," she said loudly and nodded.
Draco was startled at first and then noticing where the woman's gaze was headed, he turned and saw a man about his height. But he was not human, his jet-black hair was quite short and made it easy to see his pointed ears, but it was not only his ears that made him stand out, his eyes were greener than any of the trees, leaves and grasses in the entire garden swirling with power radiating from them.
- I see, Elara, that you managed to stop our fugitive." He said smiling cheerfully at the woman
- He didn't run away when I found him, sir, he just sat here - The woman fixed her hair again
- You could come with me Draco, I'll explain what's going on - The newly arrived elf turned to him, Draco nodded and moved behind the brunet
- running away is nothing but breaking this vase made Somir furious, he cares a lot about the house - he added after a while of walking with a note of amusement in his voice
They walked the rest of the way to the mansion in silence, none of the creatures now gazing at him and as they passed they moved out of their way. When they got inside the elf led him to a dining room with a large oblong table.
- I tried to stop that boy, but he got away too fast - The same lizard-man from the bedroom, who, as he knew now, was called Somir, started to explain
- He has already returned and will not run away - Saying this, the elf looked at him significantly
- Not only is he a fugitive, but the bandit smashed the vase and didn't even stop to apologize - hissed the nervous lizard
- It's all right, he didn't do it on purpose - Green-Eye gave him a look that said "explain yourself"
- I'll give him nothing, I'll... - He didn't finish when Draco interrupted him
- I'm really sorry, that wasn't intentional," said the blond man glancing from the elf to the lizardman
- Not on purpose, not on purpose," Somir mumbled for another moment as he left the room
- Maybe I should introduce myself first, I'm Aillard Payne, you can call me Aill, but I'm not the one we're supposed to be talking about- He pointed him to a chair at the table and sat down across from him himself
- I'm Draco, but I think you already know that," he said sitting down and the brunet nodded
- I think you must be very overwhelmed by what you have seen, but I will try to explain as much as I can - began his argument, both of them knew that they had a long conversation ahead of them
