"Hey, did you hear? Blitzwing got thrashed by a lesser creature."
"Yeah. An Etherian girl."
"They say she took him out with just one punch."
"And to think, I used to be afraid of that three-faced bucket of bolts."
That's what Blitzwing kept hearing his fellow Decepticons say every time he passed by them. They whispered behind his back, but he heard with great annoyance.
"They do not understand." He murmured to himself with his blue face on. "She was no ordinary girl. She had strength that would rival any Cybertronian." His face changed into his red, more aggressive form. "That is it! I'm tired of the disrespect! It's time to reclaim my dignity!" He then changed into his black, more insane face. "Ooh, hoo! I practically scare myself thinking what I'll do with that Etherian girl, Adora!"
After a successful defense mission, Adora rode in Hot Rod's driver's seat while he drove through the Whispering Woods. Of course, Adora didn't do much.
"You know, I am well-trained to handle a tank." Adora said. "Maybe if I take the wheel, I…"
"Adora, you're my friend," Hot Rod said, "But if you so much as lay a finger on my wheel, and I will throw you out and make you walk back to Bright Moon."
"All right. I get it." Adora said. "A simple no would have sufficed."
"I said no the last five times you asked." Hot Rod said. "You keep… WHOA!"
Unexpectedly, Hot Rod spun around and Adora held onto her seat. They kept spinning until Hot Rod stopped when his side hit a still-thawing tree. Adora walked out feeling dizzy while Hot Rod changed back into robot mode.
"What happened?" Adora asked.
Hot Rod looked and saw that the ground was clean, blue, and felt cold. "The road's frozen over. How? It wasn't that way on the ride over."
"I don't know," Adora said, "But I do know this: next time, I'm driving."
"Over my cold, dead body!" Hot Rod said, just before a beam shot at him and he was completely covered in ice. Adora panicked seeing Blitzwing coming out of the bushes with his ice cannon loaded and his black, crazy face on display.
"Well, it's not exactly dead, but it's certainly cold! HAHAHA!" Blitzwing laughed maniacally.
"You again?" Adora asked. She quickly pulled out her sword and raised it to the air. "FOR THE HONOR OF…"
Too late. Blitzwing shot his cannon again and Adora was frozen solid before she could finish.
Blitzwing approached Adora and picked up her ice cocoon while switching his face to blue and calm. "Now, that's better. Time to right my wrongs." He switched to his red face. "Just you wait, Etherian! You'll receive a punishment worse than anything you can imagine!" He changed into his tank mode with Adora inside and drove off leaving Hot Rod to slowly try to break out.
Once they were secluded near the top of a cliff, Blitzwing changed into his robot mode with his blue face on and placed Adora beside him. He pulled out his wrist communicator and a holographic screen shot out. Starscream was on it.
"Blitzwing? What are you doing there?" he asked. "Why aren't you at your post?"
"I think, Commander Starscream, that you'll be pleased when I show you this." Blitzwing said. He gestured his screen so Starscream could get a good look at Adora. The Decepticon commander widened his eyes at the sight of it.
"You captured Adora?" Starscream asked. "And here, I thought she'd be too much for you."
"I believe the saying is, 'lightning doesn't strike twice'." Blitzwing said. "Right now, I'm awaiting orders."
"Just send me your coordinates and I'll send some Vehicons to pick you up." Starscream said. "Just don't let her out of your sight." He hung up.
Blitzwing's face changed to red. "That arrogant upstart has quite the nerve to hang up on me!" Then to black. "Ooh! Maybe I can hang him up instead, literally! It'll be a dangling experience! HAHAHA!"
Adora may be frozen, but somehow, she was still conscious. That was evidenced by the way she moved her eyes which Blitzwing noticed. His face changed to blue as he knelt down to her.
"Looks like you're still awake." Blitzwing said. "Well, while we're waiting, you should know that this isn't personal." His face changed to red. "Never mind! I take what you did very personally! You basically made me look like a fool!" His face changed to black. "All that's left now is a red rubber nose and a pair of extra-large shoes!"
"Like you need her help to look like a fool!"
Blitzwing looked and saw the red foot that struck him hard in his current face. After he was knocked back, he looked to see Hot Rod proud of landing his dropkick as he stood next to Adora.
Blitzwing changed into his red face. "Impossible! How did you find me?"
"You left a trail of tank tracks that lead here." Hot Rod answered. "For a guy with three faces, you don't have a single brain between them."
"WHY YOU…"
Blitzwing shot his fire cannon at Hot Rod who dodged. But it was just close enough to Adora for the ice around her head to weaken. She shook her head enough for it to shatter.
"Case in point." Hot Rod taunted.
Blitzwing changed into his blue face with worry on it. "Uh, oh."
"Now, where was I?" Adora asked. "Oh, right. FOR THE HONOR OF GRAYSKULL!"
Right when the light flashed changing her to She-Ra, the ice that encased her exploded off of her body. She joined Hot Rod's side as they confronted the three-faced Decepticon.
"You might as well get lost now, Blitzy." Hot Rod said. "Adora here kicked your skidplate once before."
"Too bad neither of you can fly." Blitzwing said before changing into his jet mode. He shot himself skyward.
"Think he's retreating?" She-Ra asked. That was right before Blitzwing turned completely around and fired his ice cannons. "Worth a shot!"
She-Ra and Hot Rod ducked and rolled out of the way of Blitzwing's line of fire. The Decepticon raised himself up to the sky again.
"He's circling back!" Hot Rod said. "So what's the plan?"
"Fastball special?" She-Ra asked.
"That could work." Hot Rod nodded with a smile. He cupped his hands and She-Ra go on top of them.
Hot Rod waited for Blitzwing to get close enough. That's when he ran forward and thrusted his arm that had She-Ra on it. She was thrown upward and she landed right on top of Blitzwing in his jet mode.
"Hey, get off!" he shouted. "What are you doing?"
"Something like what Queen Angella does to Glimmer every other week," She-Ra said raising her sword, "Grounding you."
She stabbed her sword right into Blitzwing's wing causing it to explode. She jumped off and landed right back into Hot Rod's hands while Blitzwing began descending down in an uncontrollable method. His crazy voice can be heard.
"MAYDAY! MAYDAY! ARBOR DAY! FATHER'S DAY! LABOR DAY!"
Blitzwing changed back into his robot mode just as he fell right in front of Hot Rod and She-Ra. Once he got up, the two showed no mercy. Hot Rod punched Blitzwing first before She-Ra landed a blow with her sword. The partners exchanged turns attacking Blitzwing until they dealt the last blow together. The combo attack was just strong enough to send Blitzwing over the cliff and into the river below.
"Think we've seen the last of him?" She-Ra asked.
"Don't know." Hot Rod said before looking out into the distance. He saw several Vehicons approaching in their jet modes. "But I don't have a lot of time. Let's go!"
Hot Rod changed back into his vehicle mode and Adora got into the seat. "So can I drive now?" Adora asked.
"No!" Hot Rod shouted. He drove the both of them out and Blitzwing popped his crazed head out of the water.
"Help! Someone! Give me a hand… or a foot! How about a pelvis?"
The Vehicons landed right where Blitzwing was and helped him out of the water.
"What happened?" one of the Vehicons asked with a small snicker. "Did the Etherian girl beat you up again?"
Blitzwing changed into his blue face and sighed. "Shut up."
Author's Note: Hope you like the first one-shot of the Anthology fanfic. I originally thought of putting Blitzwing through a Looney Tunes style of day with him trying to trap Adora and Hot Rod only for it to backfire on him, but I thought it'd be too humiliating for a fan favorite. I don't have any plans to bring Blitzwing back in the main story, so I decided to put him here. Hope you like this first story. If you have any other ideas, let me know either in the comments or PMs.
