Rey was meditating near the temple, overlooking the sea. It was the place she felt the most connected to the light side of force. She could it feel it now, slow weaves of life flowing around her, calming her down.
She was focused that she didn't notice that Mater Luke sat down next to her until he spoke.
"I have decided that you need a friend to help with you growth as a Jedi," he said.
She turned to him. "So you're getting another padawan?" she said exciting.
He nodded.
"Whoo!" she jumped up and yelled.
"Let's go right now!" She pulled on his sleeve, but he stayed seated.
"We leave for Coruscant tomorrow,"
"Why Coruscant?"
"Because in the Jedi museum there is a Holocron that will show where young force users are,"
"Why is it on Coruscant, and not with you?" She asked, but the look on her face told her that was wrong.
"Because it belongs there, Rey," he said.
"I will warn you, just because you will have a companion, you will still focus on your training, do you understand?"
She nodded eagerly. "Of course Master Luke,"
Master Luke for a brief second. "Good, now let's go back to meditating,"
Later that night, as Rey fell asleep, she could feel the force telling her something.
It was another hard day in the Force Order. FN-2187 and his team were put through another grueling training session. His upper lip was busted, and his legs were covered in bruises from being thrown to grown by the other teams.
But he had the best out of them. Nines got a concussion and was in the infirmary. Slips slipped and fell into a trench, which resulted in a broken arm. Zero ganged up by one of the enemy teams, and was placed in a bacta tank.
So FN-2187 was alone in the barracks for now. The other teams were having their reports by Captain Plasma. She preferred to talk to teams as a whole, so he had a while until she berated him and his team for being failures.
"What do I do now?" he said to himself. He could go out and do more training, but he was still too sore for that. Dinner wasn't until a few hours, and he didn't even have anyone to talk too.
"I'll just go take a nap," he thought. He feel onto his bunkbed and instantly feel asleep.
