Tokyo was no Morioh, that was for sure. Josuke Higashikata groaned, looking once again at his map, trying desperately to place himself in the enormous city.

"Just great. Now where the hell am I?" He had made it to his new campus just fine that morning but now that was starting to look like a fluke.

Juban District crowded around him, buildings blocking lines of sight, though the small Eiffel Tower was a useful landmark. He sighed, exhausted. Starting university was always going to be a big change but he hadn't considered so much the change that moving to bustling Tokyo from sleepy Morioh would mean.

He thought briefly of tearing the map out of frustration but decided against it. Even though Crazy Diamond could have fixed it easily, he was reticent to use his Stand abilities in this new place lest he attract any attention.

"Though," he muttered to himself, "it may not matter how careful I am. After all, Stand users are drawn to other Stand users."

The notion made him homesick. Since defeating Yoshikage Kira just two years earlier, life had been relatively peaceful and happy in Morioh. He, Koichi, and yes, even Okuyasu had graduated from high school and taken different paths.

Koichi had taken a position as a personal assistant to Jotaro in the Speedwagon Foundation. Josuke remembered vaguely that Koichi was somewhere in Europe on Jotaro's orders but not much more than that. No doubt he was getting into his own brand of trouble but Josuke wasn't worried. Shrimpy little Koichi had become more mature, if not taller, and his Stand's strength reflected that. He'd be just fine.

Okuyasu was taking a gap year; staying in Morioh and focusing on taking care of his dad while trying (often in vain) to think of a plan for his future. As much as Josuke missed him, he knew Okuyasu needed to grow on his own and couldn't keep relying on his friends to figure everything out for him. Still, he felt the absence of his friend acutely.

Not that he hadn't met some fine people already since arriving in Juban. Josuke had been accepted as a student of fashion at Tokyo U and his own particular look had made a real impression on his classmates. The beat down he put on the guy who dissed his hair left a similarly serious impression on them. But none of them were Stand users, as far as he could tell, and after having many friends that truly understood him it felt strange to be among these people who never could.

He sighed, breaking out of his reverie. The streets were becoming more crowded with people heading home from work. It would make navigation that much more difficult so he decided to wait before he struck out into the confusing array of streets and alleys. The nearby ice cream parlor looked inviting. "Bob Floy" read the sign on the door as Josuke entered.

Tuition had wiped out a significant chunk of his lottery winnings but having a father like Joseph Joestar had to come with some perks. He received a monthly allowance from the old man. Josuke wondered how his wife felt about the whole thing, especially considering Joseph had returned from his time in Morioh with *another* baby. He put the thought aside and ordered his ice cream, leaving 500 yen on the counter and taking a seat outside to enjoy.
