lincolnwas shaken awake by a hand on his shoulder he groaned and opened his eyes to see jack wait jack "wait jack what are you doing hear no wait how are you hear i thought you died he almost yelled intill jack interupted him of "corse im dead rookie i did bleed out in your arms no this is just a dream" lincolnshook his head " a dream why are you in it and why the hell am i hear" he looked around dirt and desert as far as he could see the image of his truck triggering a mine played in his head for a moment till he shook the thought out " ya that was a bad day for you almost died if im not mistaken you ever tell them about that" he looked right at lincolnhe narrowed his eyes at jack "no and i have no ideas to either he might consider jack a brother but that didnt mean he he liked evrything he said " they just got me back thier is no point in telling them it would be unnecessary worry for all involved" jack frowned " even if they deserve to know that they almost lost thier only brother what if they find out them selves you will slip one day then what" he let out a big breath "what ever your the one alive not me" lincoln flinched at the words then the dessert started to fade jack smiled "guess your waking up rooki and rember what i told you" lincoln smiled and nodded "of corse " and with that the world faded away lincoln almost cursed the sun till he felt the waight of his little sister on his chest he looked down and smiled lightly he then looked at his clock it was five in the moring old habits die hard i guess he slipped his arm from out under his sister and grabed some clothing from his bag a black tshirt and pants he would need to get new things to where soon he got to the bathroom and made his way down stairs and to the kitchen were he started coffee " the life blood of everything in the world" he chuckled and started to make a ment list of things he needed to do he grabed a note pad thet was randmoly placed and started to make a list 1: go for a run 2: ask about clothing and a new bed 3: and most important reconnect with family he smiled at the last thing he had put down they needed this so did he hopefuly not to much had changed sense him leaving "ya right" he said dryly knowing that it was not the case he got up and got a coffee cup and poured some out years of training let him hear that thier was movment happening up the stairs three to be exact it was the weekend so the others must be sleeping in if they even slept at all his return has sent ripples in the family and its function with out him he felt guilty that they would have to adjust to him again he grabed three more cups and sat the tabel and waited for who was about to come down.
a few moment later leni lana and luna came down luna seemed to spot him first as she gave a big smile "moring bro what you doing up so early" could ask you the same thing little early for you all to be up dont you think" lincolnwached as leni and luna grabed a cup and lana went the fridgy "well someone left me in a cold bed and alone making me think last night was just a cruel dream"she said her tone held light anger to more like she was upset they he had just disappeared he frowned slightly "sorry lana i didnt mean to do that to you" he looked over at leni who still didnt seem to notice his presence lana sat down next to him "its fine just dont ever do that again alright" he could hear the unspoken words she said and nodded his head "so why you awake so early leni" she seemed to light up as she started talking about how she had a dreme that he had come back and was stayung homer again intill she she stoped and slowly turned around to face him and in that moment two things happned she one screamed and two dame near took him out the chair he had been siting in "you really are back o i thought you had would never retrun you were gone for ever" lincloin smiled " ya sure felt that way didnt it leni" luna grinned at lincoln situationlenihuging lincolin at the waist in the chair that had been moved by her waight and running force so he was now holding leni so he would not tip and had a coffee mug in the air over his head she was impressed that he did not even spill any anywherelincolnfroze his gut telling him something was coming and almost as soon as he went to say something it clicked she had scremed and had no restraint to said scream his gut was warning him of the many things that was going to happen of everyone waking all at once this was about to be his name sake the loud house in he looked over and simply said "hear they come" for a moment they looked at him confused on what he ment till they came to the samerealization as him they noded and swiftly claimed thier seats and waited fro the chaos to unfold in front of them lincolin was slighly worred if they had taken leni screams the wrong way they could be coming down with some not so nice things for the intruder he was worred that it might trigger something he had been in the field more then not hell he could still feel the sun beat on his skin with out relising it he had tightned his grip on the mug in his hand but luna seemed to take note of she saw how his knuckles seem to grip a little more then would be nessary almost have he was ready for a fight she stoped on the thought lincloin ptsd she shook her head from side to side no he was holding like that still after leni had run into him she saw lincolin was about to say something wene the family all came down seemingly all at once.
after everything settled and everyone relised why leni had scremed they went on with thier daly routine saying good morning to lincolin and the rest the family after a few minutes lincloin got up and set his mug in the sink he looked at the half dead family that was still waking up " i wil be back soon u want to go on a run be back in a bit" lynn spoke the sencond time that moring "wait i want to go with lets see what the military had you doing" lincoln grinned try to keep lynn because i am not slowing down for you"lynn grinned at the challenge "that what i should be telling you race you to change and meet at the porch" and with that she bolted up the stairs lincolin close behind her smillinghe grinned he had won barly but he had won she was pouting at her lost "no fair you cheated" she pointed a finger at him "you only changed your pants" he smiled bigger it was true he had only changed in to a pair of camo shorts that he had in his bag "well you should have said i need to conpletly changed then lynn but you didnt so their for i win" lynn only seemed to pout harder then before "fine you win this time but dont think you will get lucky next time" lincolin only smiled and started to go down the stairs to start his run lynn not far behind. they were both painting now they had run and run and run and run it seemed they went around the hole town and back lynn spoke first in between pants for breath " well i guess they really did kick your ass into shape didnt they" lincoln laughed " lynn you dont even know the half of it trust me if i could not do it before i left i can now i guarantee it" she smiled at his words they both got inside and lincoln told lynn she could take first shower as he walked into the kitchen to get some water and went up to his room the family being in the living room he grabed a new set of clothing and waited at the bathroom door waiting for his turn he leaned his head on the wall and shut his eyes few minits later he heard the door open she nodded to him and he went in peeling the sweat soked shirt from his body he looked in the mirror scars had littered his body he could remember how he got them all but none were ment to kill no they were ment to hurt as much as possibletwo week he was a powand in the two weeks he felt hell first hand it was a fight for survival literally he had been used as entertanment and forced to fight other prisoners before he rallied the other prisoners to fight back shaking his head he steped into the shower.
going down the stairs he went to the living room to see everyone on the coach he then saw his list on on the tabel he picked up when he heard his dad speck " saw the list on the conter leni offered to help get you some new things to wear and lori said she would drive you as well " lincolin nooded at his dad "sounds good" he looked at evryone when a idea hit him "game day we can use it as bonding time" evryone seem to agree till he heard lisa voice " now that we decided on what we will be doing the real question is what should we play' that got all them bickering back and forth all the while lincolin just smiled and wached it happen he had missed this the bickering lynn challenges the rush to get to the bathroom even not that was not really a problem anymore with how early he wakes up he was pulled from his thoughts as he heard his name called he had been paying attention they seem to have wanted him to be the deal braker on this lori was the first to speck "so like what game are we playing lincloin" he thought on it a moment sorry or candyland on one hand lynn would more then likely get angry and start to therten other if they dare to sorry hear then on the other hand she would only grumble about being knocked down down a latter on the game with that in mind he made his choice they all noded thier heads and lucy went and grabed the game as they set up the tabel he glanced at the clock on the microwave it was seven with that in mind he perpared himself for a vary long game senseing soemone was behind him he turned his head to see lucy "thank lucy i got it from hear" she was surpirised lincoin had not feacked out it was almost like he had know she was thier she guessed he really did change and with that thought she went around the tabel and sat down waiting for the game to be set up for all them to play.
it was 3 when they had stopped everyone was smilling so lincoln guessed they all had fun as well he was glad they had done this they were all abel to talk about pretty much everything and anything he was happy to be bonding with his sisters once more "alright kids out out your dad has ro make dinner go on the the living room and do something thier they all got up and walked out to the living room the news was on lincolin normaly whould have ignored it and start up a talk with one of his sister but they were highlighting over the war over seas he walked up to the tv and crouched down to it lising to it he was so invested he didnt even realize that the girls were waching him lynn spoke first "you think he is alright it must be hard to wach the place you have been fight in for four years" luna nodded her head im sure he is fine just wondering on how it is going over on their side" the nect thing the women said got all thier attition " we just found out that a base out east was just attacked thay had put a pictuer of the place on the tv lincoln shot up like a bullet with a hand in hs hair he had a firend in place that had been attcked he was the only thing that he considered family as his last one deserted him his name was jason and he had met him they had worked together many time he had even asked if lincolin would be his contact if he had died in the war as he had no one to do so beforehe had 4 more months on his contract then he would be coming out hear to live in royal woods to live so they would be closer the girls saw his reaction and had gotten worried before he droped his hand from his hair " you alright bro" luna asked softly " ya fine just know some one from their" that got all thier eyes wide lincoin knew someone from their before luna could ask who thier mom called them in for dinner lincolin was already walking by the time she looked back to were he had stood before the tv dinner had been fairly silent lincoins could guess it was because they had more questions then anwsers lincoin saw lori about to ask something when the phone rang loud in the silent room everything stopped lincolns blood ran cold out the corner of his eye he saw his dad about to get up to get it " dont bother it mine" lincoins voice was cold his dad looked at his son and was about to ask how he knew before lincoiln spoke again "my gut is telling something is wrong and i have doubt that the person on the other end that phone is a civilian" he got up and walked out the room to the phone his gut telling his that what ever was at the other end that phone was anything but good yet a vary small part of him hoped like hell his gut was wrong staring at the phone a moment longer he picked it taking note of the faimly that was most definitely listening in on this the voice on the other end the line spoke first" is this lincoin loud"he knew that tone the way the voice was hard yet held remorse for what they had to tell the person on the other end the phone" yes" "i am sorry to say but jason was criticly wonded in the fight that took place recently he has 3 gunshot ones and a exploseve took one of his feet we dont know if he will wake up" lincoin face was stright no sighn of anything on him just a blank sheet "i understand will he be trasported home when he wakes or in the coma" we will be sending him to a hospital when he is stable we will keep you in touch of his condiction he will aslo be honorably discharged with the injury he sustained he will no longer be what he will no longer be able to do what he once could im sorry" "i see thank you for getting to me so fast have a good day" he heard the man say the same before he put the phone down "i will be turning in early girls goodnight" his mind drowing him in questions and worry for his brother in all but blood the girl all looked at each other with worry on thier faces they all had the same thought what was that call about.
