Chapter 2: What's going on?
"So any last words Sky and Paula?" Axel smirked at us while holding his chakrams in his hands, ready to attack. I gave him a look of surprise at our names, and then wondered how he knew our names.
"Omg, those Chakrams are so cool," Paula eyes beam with excitement.
I ignored what she said, and backed away from him slowly. "Hey, we didn't give you our names!"
Axel came closer, and shrugs with a small smile, " Just a lucky guess I had."
"Paula run!" I yelled running away from Axel, while he threw one of his chakrams at me, and it missed me by an inch or two. I take a quick glance behind me to see Paula running away from Axel in the other direction. I was heading toward the school, running across toward the side of the side of the school with the parking lot, while Paula was heading down into the neighborhood with houses.
Probably was a good idea to split up then, as he has a lesser chance to kill both of us. Though I wouldn't think he would kill Paula...I ran to the lunchroom door, and immediately grabbed the door handle, opening it pretty fast, and ran into the lunchroom. The huge lunchroom was empty, with the food place having nothing in it, and all the tables have chairs scattered around or pushed into them. There wasn't any sound besides my heart beat and my footsteps that slowed down, when I realised that I was sure I wasn't being followed. Damn, how can you go from a normal day to getting chased by an Organization member from a popular video game series. I guess I should look around.
Meanwhile, Paula was down the street. I guess I lost Axel, but I will see him again, and ask if I can join the organization she thought as she looked around to double check that no one else was around, except herself. Paula was looking around to see where she was. Axel won't kill me if I say I will help him with his capture of Sora too, since I know the Organization still wants to use him for their own gain. Now it's probably time to go back to school Paula thought as she turned around and walk back from the direction she came from.
Meanwhile in Radiant Garden:Ven, Terra, and Aqua were in Radiant Garden, making sure that no unverses, heartless, or nobodies were around. Ven was glancing around the town, and said, "Man, it's been a couple of months since Sora and his friends saved us, wasn't it?
Terra chuckled a bit, and stared at him. "Ven, that was about a year ago already,"
Aqua started to giggle, "Yeah, Ven you always screw up your sense of time."
Ven smiles sheepishly, "Oh, well it just seems like it was yesterday with Xehanort and all." He was walking by the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee / Reconstruction Committee House.
"Hmm, I guess it does seem like yesterday, but it's been very quiet lately." Terra took a glance at Aqua, who was looking at Ven, who suddenly ran into the house, without saying anything.
Aqua ran after him,"Ven, where are you going?!" She grabbed the door and went inside the house as well.
"Hey, doesn't anyone listen to me,"Terra said sighing, while going to the house and opening up the door. He walked into the house, to see Ven and Aqua talking to Leon.
As he walked up to them, he heard Leon say with a stern face, "There has been a strong dark pulse coming from the castle for about a hour now."
"Geez guys, you could have at least waited for me," Terra glared at both of them.
Ven put a hand over his heart, and closed his eyes for a second. "SorryTerra, I felt a strong dark pulse all of a sudden, and came to see if Leon and the others know where it is."
"You think its Vanitas, if your heart is responding to it? Terra asked, hoping its not true.
"Yeah, but also I feel another dark presence as well that I have no idea who it is. It feels different from any other kind of darkness I felt before," Ven kept glancing between Aqua and Terra, having a worried look in his eyes.
Aqua face filled with concern and seriousness, ""We need to go check this out right now," As she turned around and started walking to the door.
"I will stay here and make sure that this is the only sign of dark power in the world, and I will have Cloud check the other parts of town," Leon walked to the computer and started typing away.
"Well, I guess we will be going then," Ven ran past Aqua and out the door.
"Ven!" Aqua and Terra both yelled, as they ran after him.
Ven ran all the way to the castle, when a bunch of heartless and unverses stopped his progress from going further. He summoned his Wayward Wind Keyblade, ready to fight. This is not good, but I must be close to the dark pulse, I can feel it. Ven started slashing at the unverses and heartless. Aqua and Terra showed up a minute later, with Rainfell and Earthshaker summoned.
"Now, I think our problems are getting even worse," Aqua started slashing and casting magic spells on the universe and heartlesses that are in her way.
"God, what problems did we have before, except Ven running off everywhere like an idiot" Terra used a strike raid on the enemies in front of him.
"Well, I thought the faster I got here, the less time the dark powers stayed," Ven cast Thundara from his keyblade, and shot down thunder on the creatures, defeating them.
"No, I think you mean the faster I get here, the less time you survive,: Terra grinned.
"Hey, I don't die that easily," Ven finished up the enemies with a sash from his keyblade.
"Are you sure about that?" Terra asked standing with his keyblade still in his hand. Aqua ignored the bickering of them, and walked ahead, to see Vanitas with some red hair, olive skin guy.
They were talking to each other, but Aqua couldn't hear them, so she slowly crept to a bush that was near them, and hid it in to hear their conversation.
"Ganondorf, are the plans going well?" Vanitas asked the olive guy.
"Hmmmph, of course the plans are going well. All the heroes are very clueless about what's happening." Ganondorf looked around the area to make sure that no one's watching. Crap, I hope he doesn't seem me Aqua thought.
Ven and Terra finally stopped bickering, and realized that Aqua wasn't near them anymore. They started to walk ahead, to see her behind a bush listening to Vanitas and some guy talking. Ven opened his mouth to say something, but Terra quickly put his hand over Ven's mouth, and whispered, " Shh, you idiot, just walk over there quietly." Ven nodded his head, and Terra took his hand off Ven's mouth, while both of them walked quietly over to Aqua. As they were about a few feet away from Aqua, they both tripped over themselves, crashing to the ground. Vanitas and Ganondorf stopped talking, and spotted them on the ground.
Back on Earth
This school really sucks if you are trying to find people in here, since I have no idea where to start. The school itself has four floors, many stairways and rooms, plus it has a driver's ed building in the parking lot and a big stadium right behind it as well. I started walking to the middle of the lunchroom, without paying much attention to where I was walking, and I tripped over something or someone. I was about to fall flat on my face, when I put my hands on the ground, making my hands hurt a bit, but saved my face from hitting the ground. What the hell I thought, as I got up, to notice it was a person that I tripped over. My eyes widened in shock, as recognition hit my heart. She started to stir, and opened her eyes a bit, but then closed them again. No way.."Memory! My voice shook with surprise. She slowly got up from the floor, holding the back of her head. She opened her eyes fully, and looked around.
"Huh? Where am I?" as her eyes landed on me. "Wait, Sky? Recognition hits her eyes.
I gave her a small smile, "Yeah, it's me, how did you get here?" I asked curiously, since I highly doubt it she came here on her own.
"I don't remember, I was coming out of my school, and all I remember was blacked out after a couple steps." Her voice sounded scared as she said it.
Well this is not good. "Okay, well it's good to see you again, despite the circumstances," My heart started to beat fast yet again at what's happening.
She gave me a small smile in return, "Yeah, it's good to see you again too, but what's going on here?
"Well for one, you are at my highschool, and two, I'm just as confused as you are, but I got some idea of what's happening, though it seems impossible," I started to get a headache from thinking too much, and started to rub my forehead bit, when i saw something at the corner of my eye. I see flaming red hair poking out from the corner of the lunchroom. "Uh, let's go somewhere else right now." I grabbed her arm and walked her out of the lunchroom, before Axel can see us.
She turned around, and also saw Axel for a second, while she asked, "What's wrong? Why are you…." she stopped mid sentence as her eyes widened with shock, and then said, "Nevermind, lets run!" She started to run, as I followed her before Axel spotted us.
Paula was walking her way back to school, while keeping a lookout for Axel. I think Axel went after Sky, since he threw his chakrams at her, and have not seen him since he appeared. Paula saw the school come into view. I bet Sky ran back toward the school, to look for people at the moment. Paula walked a bit more, and was about to walk across the street to get to the school, when she saw three people unconscious on the ground by Party City.
Paula's eyes widened with recognition as she ran to the three unconscious bodies, to see it was a silver hair guy, a spiky brown hair guy, and a girl with red hair. Riku, Sora, and Kairi are already here, that was quick. Paula stared at them as she started to think what to do. A small smile formed on her lips, and she thought, Wait a second, this is perfect! I can turn in Sora to the Organization, and then they got to let me join for helping them get Sora. Maybe I should turn in Kairi too, and then I can try to get Riku to turn to the evil side. Paula saw them start to stir as she was gleefully thinking up a way to get them to trust her. All three of them opened their eyes…
Riku opened his eyes to notice he was laying on the sidewalk. His head was pounding, but he slowly sat up. What happened he thought, as flashes of memories came back to him. Him, Sora, and Kairi running to their secret place, and getting sucked into a dark portal. He looked around a bit to notice they were definitely not on Destiny Islands anymore. Shit, we must be in a different world.
Sora and Kairi started to sit up as well. Sora was thinking, I really need to stop getting sucked into portals that lead to someplace that I have no idea where I am. Well atleast I have Riku and Kairi with me, so everything will be okay and we will figure this out. Sora looked around to notice a girl around their age with glasses was coming their way. For some reason, just staring at the girl, makes Sora not trust her already. Kairi saw the girl as well, but had mixed feelings about trusting her, while Riku was just neutral and decided to trust her for now.
The girl came up to them, and said, "Hello, my name is Paula."
"I'm Riku, that's Sora and that's Kairi," Riku pointed to Sora and Kairi who tried to give Paula a small smile.
Paula smiles, "Oh, I knew that already because in this world, you guys are from a fictional video game." Paula stares at them while smiling still.
"A video game?" Sora said with surprise.
"Yes, your universe is a video game, and it's awesome" Paula grinned.
"So, we are just a video game that everyone thinks is fake? Ok….so what world are we in then?" Riku stood up, as did Sora and Kairi.
"You are on Earth" Paula grinned.
"Do you know why?" Sora questioned her.
Paula was thinking if she should tell them the truth or lie...well either way, Sora and Kairi will be both turned into the Organization. I'm just gonna lie to them instead Paula thought. "Uh, I have no idea why you guys are here, but maybe to defeat heartlesses and nobodies?" Paula pretended to be confused about what's going on.
Sora, Riku, and Kairi looked around the area, and saw there were no heartlesses and nobodies.
"There are no heartless and nobodies around though…''as Kairi finished saying that, dark spots and portals appear with heartlesses and nobodies pouring out. Sora summoned his Kingdom Keyblade, Riku summoned his Way to Dawn, and Kairi summoned her Destiny embrace.
Paula holded in a sigh of relief at how perfect that timing was. "See? I told you."She got out of the way so they can fight the heartless and nobodies, which were dusks and shadows.
Meanwhile back in Hyrule:Link and Saria finally made it to Kakariko Village. They talked the whole way, and Saria told him she knows the Hero of TIme.
"Well, here Kakariko Village" Link gets off Epona.
Saria smiled and hoped off Epona as well. She looked around, and took a glance at Death Mountain, looming over the village. "Hmmm, it is still near Death Mountain. I guess some things don't change." Link looked over to see Renaldo and Luda talking to Barnes about how his bomb shop is doing.
Link starts to walk over to them, as Saria follows him. "Hey, guys" Link smiled at them.
All three of them turned around and gave a smile to Link. Renaldo took a glance at Saria, then looked back at Link. "Hi Link. Who is your new friend?"
"Uh, this is Saria,and she is looking for a sage." Link said.
"A sage?" Renaldo looked a bit surprised.
"Yeah, I'm looking for a goron sage named Darunia," Saria looked at them with hope in her eyes.
Renaldo shook his head. "Well we haven't seen any new gorons lately, but you can always check Death Mountain. By the way, I'm Renaldo and this is Luda, my daughter." Renaldo pointed to the girl. "And this is Barnes, our local bomb shop guy." Renaldo pointed to the middle aged guy with a metal face shield on top of his head and glasses.
"Hello" Luda smiled, while Barnes just gave a small wave to Saria.
"Well guess we have to go to Death Mountain now in that case. We need to figure out what's going on here, quickly,"LInk took a glance at Death Mountain.
"Yeah we can't waste anymore time. I have a bad feeling in my stomach. It was nice meeting all of you though, despite cutting it very short here," Saria waved at them, while her and Link started to walk in the direction of Death Mountain.
"Good luck in finding the sage,"Renaldo said.
They got to the beginning of Death Mountain, and saw someone in a black cloak ordering weird black and white creatures to attack anyone who comes up the mountain. Link and Saria walked up to the black figure and asked "Who the hell are you?". Link got out his sword and pointed at the mysterious black cloak figure.
"Hmmm, you must be the hero of this world. What a shame you look weak," The black cloak figure waved his hand and more black and white creatures appeared to attack Link and Saria.
