Stoppable Family: Krista Ruthie Stoppable
Chapter 2: First Day of School
A/N: I know I said that I was gonna put this off until I finish my other stories, but I was having a lot of fun writing this and decided to continue. Don't worry, I'm still working on my other stories.

Four years later, on August 30th, 2016, at 7:00 am, Ron was in the kitchen making bacon and eggs for breakfast.
Just then, Kim, with a sultry grin on her face, walked into the kitchen.
Ron noticed her and gave an identical grin, "Hiya, bad girl."
Kim walked up, got up on her tiptoes and gave her husband a kiss on the cheek.
"Hiya, bad boy," Kim cooed.
"We still call each other 'bad' don't we?" Ron asked.
"Yeah, but I like it," Kim cooed. She then asked. "So, how's breakfast coming along?"
"It's just about done," Ron replied.
"May I have a kiss?" Kim asked. "I always enjoy starting my breakfast with one."
Ron then pulled Kim in for a kiss.
"Ewwwww…!" Two male voices said in unison.
Kim and Ron broke the kiss and turned to see a 6-year-old RJ and Justin with disgusted looks on their faces.
"How many times are you gonna keep doing that?" RJ asked.
"And around us?" Justin added.
"When you kids get older, you'll understand," Was all Ron said.
"Is breakfast ready yet?" Justin asked, changing subjects.
Ron nodded, "It's ready. I just need to take it off the stove."
Kim turned to Ron, "I'm gonna go wake up the others."
With that, Kim walked out of the kitchen and up the stairs.
Just as she reached the top of the stairs, she walked to Krista's bedroom and knocked on the door.
"Krista, it's time to get up," Kim announced.
No response.
Kim shook her head before she opened the door to see a four-year-old Krista tap dancing on a dance floor in her bedroom.
"She looks like me when I was her age," Kim thought at the sight of her first-born daughter. Krista was dressed in pajamas that consisted of dark-blue pants and a white 'I Heart Tap' T-shirt. She was also wearing white socks and black lace-up tap shoes on her feet and her hair was in pigtails as well. In her arms, was a teddy bear that had brown fur, a red vest, a barbershop hat with red stripe, a black bowtie, a black dance cane with white tips and black tap shoes.
Kim cleared her throat.
Krista stopped tap dancing and looked at her mother, "Hey, Mommy."
"Krista, whatcha doing?" Kim asked, raising an eyebrow.
She raised the teddy bear up and said, "I was tap dancing with, Tappy."
"Again?" Kim asked. Krista nodded. "Krista, ever since Anna gave you that teddy bear for your first birthday, you've been attached to it."
Krista hugged Tappy, "Mommy, I love Tappy; he's my best friend and I never sleep without him. I even sometimes have dreams of him coming to life and tap dancing with me."
"That's so sweet," Kim commented, touched. "Now, breakfast is about to begin, so you better change out of your tap shoes and come on down."
Krista reluctantly nodded, "Yes, Mommy."
"I'm gonna go wake up Dawn and Alexa," Kim said.
Kim then walked out of the bedroom and down the hall.
Krista looked down at Tappy, "Sorry, Tappy, but I'm afraid more tap dancing will have to wait. But don't worry, when I get back, we'll be tapping together." She then brought Tappy's left ear close to her mouth and whispered. "I promise."
"Krista?" Came the voice of Kim.
Krista looked up to see her mother with two two-year-old girls that looked like her, only with different features. One had dirty blonde hair and glasses while the other had strawberry-blonde hair and blue eyes. They were Kim and Ron's newborn daughters, Dawn Kimberly and Alexa Stoppable.
"Yes, Mommy?" Krista asked.
"Did you take your tap shoes off yet?" Kim asked.
"I was just about to take them off right after I gave Tappy a hug and promise him that we will be tapping together after I get home from school," Krista replied.
"You been tapping with Tappy, again?" Dawn asked.
Krista looked at Dawn, "I have."
"Can you and Tappy tap dance for us?" Alexa asked.
Kim then spoke, "Sorry, girls, but Krista and Tappy will have to save their tap dance for after school."
Dawn and Alexa groaned, "Awwww…"
"Let's go downstairs and have breakfast before it gets cold," Kim suggested, ignoring Dawn's and Alexa's groans. She then looked back up at Krista. "We'll see you downstairs."
With that, Kim, Dawn, and Alexa walked away before Krista put Tappy on her bed, sat down on the floor, and reluctantly untied her tap shoes before sliding them off and putting on slippers.
Later, at 7:20 am, the Stoppables finished eating breakfast.
"Dad, you did great making breakfast, again," RJ commented with a smile. "Nice job."
"Thanks, Junior," Ron said, smiling.
Kim then noticed Krista with a smile on her face, "You seem really excited."
Krista looked at Kim, "I'm just excited for my first day of private school."
"What made you decide to wear a school uniform?" RJ asked.
"Those things are uncomfortable," Justin added. "That's why RJ and I go to public school, to avoid wearing them."
Kim turned to her sons, "Your father and I told you, we are enrolling Krista at the Reman Manhattan Preparatory School in Manhattan so that way, after school, she can go to the Unstoppable Tap and Musical Theater School; your adoptive sister's dance school next door to RMP."
"That and a school uniform looks like a great tap dance costume," Krista added. She then thought of something and turned to Kim with a worried look. "Wait, Mommy, with you and Daddy dropping RJ and Justin off at school here in town, who's gonna drive me to RMP?"
Kim turned to Krista and said, "Anna and Albert will drive you to and from school."
Krista smiled, she always enjoyed seeing her adoptive sister and brother-in-law.
Later, at 7:50 am, Krista walked out of the Stoppable house and up to a Jeep in the driveway. The Jeep was red with two sets of doors and had license plates on the front and back that read, 'TP DNCR'. Also, on the right side of the rear bumper there was a bumper sticker that read, "I Heart Tap Dancing', and on the left side of the rear bumper there was a flag of Norway bumper sticker.
Krista then opened the right back door, climbed into the back seat, and buckled up.
"Hey, Krista," Anna said to Krista with a wave.
"Hey, Anna," Krista waved back.
"Is my tap-dancing sister-in-law ready for her first day of Pre-K?" Albert asked, Krista.
Krista turned to Albert and said, "You know it!"
Anna soon put the Jeep in reverse before backing out into the street. Afterward, she put the Jeep in drive and drove off to the Reman Manhattan Preparatory School.
"You look great," Albert commented on Krista's school uniform. The uniform consisted of a white long-sleeve collared shirt, black clip-on tie, plaid skirt, dark socks and black shoes that look similar to her black lace-up tap shoes. The final touch were Krista's pigtails.
"Thanks, Al," Krista said, appreciating Albert's comment. She then turned to Anna. "And thank you for the school/tap shoes."
"You're welcome, Anna," Anna said with a smile. "You'll be able to transition between tap shoes and school shoes with them."
A few minutes later, at 8:25 am, the group arrived at the front door to the Reman Manhattan Preparatory School.
"Well, Krista, here we are," Anna announced.
Krista took a deep breath, "Well, here it goes. I'll see you after school."
"You too, Krista," Anna said with a wave.
"Have a good first day, Krista," Albert added.
Krista nodded, "I will." She then waved. "Bye."
With that, she unbuckled her seatbelt, opened the door, climbed out of the Jeep, and closed the door behind her.
The Jeep drove off soon after.
After the Jeep drove off, a girl's voice was heard, "Hey."
Krista turned to see a girl walk up. She had brown hair, black eyes, and fair skin. She was also wearing the same outfit as her, only with penny loafers and her hair was flowing freely.
Krista waved, "Hello. I'm Krista Ruthie Stoppable."
"It's nice to meet you, Krista," The girl said. "I'm Chelsea Williams."
"It's nice to meet you too, Chelsea," Krista commented.
Chelsea then rubbed the back of her neck, "Say, I know that we just met but…"
"Would you like to be my friend?" Krista asked.
Chelsea nodded, "I do."
Just then, the bell rang.
"We better get to our class," Krista said. "We can get to know each other more later."
With that, Krista and Chelsea joined up with the other kids before heading into the school.
Later, at 8:30 am, in a classroom, Krista, Chelsea, and a few other students were sitting on the carpet.
Just then, a woman with shoulder-length blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin, and wearing a yellow sundress with black 2-inch heel Mary Jane shoes and holding a clipboard with some papers on it came in and sat down in a chair facing the children.
"Good morning, children," The woman said. "I'm Miss Honey."
"Good morning, Miss Honey," The students said in unison.
"I will begin with taking attendance," Miss Honey announced. She then looked at the clipboard and started taking attendance.
When she reached Krista's name…
"Krista Ruthie Stoppable?" Miss Honey called.
"Here," Krista said, raising her right arm.
Soon, a thought struck Miss Honey before she asked, "Any relation to Anna Stoppable?"
Krista nodded, "My adoptive sister. She's also my tap dance teacher/mentor and is the co-founder/owner of the Unstoppable Tap and Musical Theater School next door."
"That's great," Miss Honey commented, in amazement. "I'm a tap dancer too."
"You're a tap dancer too?" Krista asked. She then noticed metal underneath Miss Honey's shoes. "And are you wearing tap shoes?"
Miss Honey nodded, "Yes, to both questions. I have to admit, in stressful times, it can be the perfect release. And, I like to entertain classes."
"I thought tap shoes and tap dancing weren't allowed at RMP or in schools at all, unless on a stage," Krista said.
"That was the past," Miss Honey pointed out. "But thanks to your adoptive sister, Anna, the Infinite Learning Company that owns RMP and its sister private/boarding schools have permitted tap shoes. However, those who wear tap shoes are not permitted to tap dance in the hallways. In the classroom, tap dancing is allowed only with permission from the teacher. Outside the school buildings, you can tap dance all you want."
"Wow, Anna never told me that," Krista said in amazement.
"After I take attendance, wanna perform a tap dance with me for the class?" Miss Honey asked.
Krista smiled from ear-to-ear, "I will be honored. And as luck has it…" She reached under her foot and pulled the top part of her right shoe heel off, revealing metal. "I'm wearing tap shoes that can be worn as regular school shoes as well. Anna gave these to me after my parents told me that I couldn't wear tap shoes to school."
"That's amazing!" Miss Honey commented. "Now, I shall resume taking attendance."
With that, Miss Honey resumed taking attendance.
Later, at 11:00 am, recess came and Krista and Chelsea were hanging out under a tree.
"Wow, Anna, I have to admit, that tap dance you and Miss Honey performed was incredible," Chelsea commented.
"Why, thank you, Chelsea," Krista said, appreciating her new friend's feedback. She then changed subjects. "So, what do you like to do?"
"Like you and Miss Honey, I'm a dancer too," Chelsea said. "Only I've done ballet. However, I've been getting tired of it and wanna switch to tap."
Krista soon thought of something and asked, "Say, is your Mommy, Stacie Fluckey-Williams?"
Chelsea nodded, "She is; she's also my dance teacher. She told me that she and Anna used to be dance partners while attending RMP. After my Daddy died in a car accident and my Mommy's dance studio burned down, my Mommy and I moved to New York from Boston and she joined your sister's dance school."
Krista frowned and said sympathetically, "I'm so sorry for what happened."
Chelsea sighed, "My Daddy dying and my Mommy's dance studio being burned down was hard for both me and Mommy. But dancing has helped ease the pain. Ballet's been helpful, but I think tap will be even more helpful."
"Tap dancing always helps me when I feel down," Krista said.
"Even after someone better than you taunts you?" Came a venom female voice.
Krista and Chelsea looked to see a girl with teal-colored eyes, black hair, and fair skin. She was also wearing the same outfit as Chelsea, only her hair was in a ponytail.
"Who are you?" Krista asked.
"I'm Roya Paine," The girl answered. "And I can't believe you two like tap dancing."
"What's your problem?" Chelsea asked.
"Tap dancing is dumb," Roya commented. "Lyrical is where it's at."
"I don't do lyrical," Krista said. "Perhaps me in another universe or two would, but not in this one."
"Me neither," Chelsea added. "I've done ballet, but I've been getting tired of it and wanna switch to tap."
"That's too bad," Roya taunted. "You two would've been better off doing a mixture of jazz, ballet, acrobatics, and modern dance instead of simply making noise with lead shoes."
Krista and Chelsea scowled as Roya walked away, laughing.
"Can you believe this?" Chelsea asked Krista.
"That we're gonna be going to school with a Bonnie wannabe?" Krista guessed.
"Who's Bonnie?" Chelsea asked, confused.
"Some girl who was bad to my Mommy and Daddy during their school days," Krista replied. "It's a long story. And no way we're gonna let Roya Paine stop us from tapping."
"Nothing can't stop us," Chelsea added.
It was 2:30 pm as Krista and Chelsea walked out of the classroom after the school day concluded.
"My sister will be waiting for us outside," Anna announced.
Chelsea then said, "Krista, I have to go to the bathroom; I'll meet you outside."
Krista nodded before heading out the door and Chelsea headed off to the bathroom.
After walking out the door to the school, Krista noticed a familiar face walk up to her. She was wearing a black shirt with the Unstoppable Tap and Musical Theater School logo on it, black pants, a red headband, and black Repetto Rose Mary Jane shoes. It was Anna.
Krista smiled and waved, "Hey, Anna."
Anna waved back, "Hey, Krista, how was your day?"
"It was wonderful!" Krista commented, happily.
"Did you enjoy private school?"
Krista nodded, "Yup. I made a new friend and I enjoy wearing the clothes I have on."
"I'm glad you enjoy school and made a new friend."
"She'll be out in a minute and wants to try tap dancing."
"What's her name?"
"Chelsea Williams."
"Here I am," Chelsea said as she walked out the door. She then noticed Anna. "You must be, Anna Stoppable."
Anna nodded, "I am. And you must be Chelsea Williams."
Chelsea nodded, "I am. You probably already know my mother, Stacie."
Anna nodded, "I do."
Krista turned to Chelsea, "Shall we head on over to the Unstoppable Tap and Musical Theater School?"
Chelsea turned to Anna, "Of course."
"Well, let's go," Anna said.
"Yeah, go and make noise with your lead feet," Roya said as she walked by and climbed into the back of a car before it drove off.
"Who was that girl?" Anna asked.
Krista sighed, "That's Roya Paine; she's mean. But Chelsea and I had never let her ruin our day."
Anna smiled, "That's great you two didn't let that Bonnie wannabe ruin your day. Now, let's head on over to UTAMTS."
With that, Anna, Krista, and Chelsea walked over to Anna's dance school next door.
Just as they reached the front entrance to UTAMTS, Chelsea asked Anna, "So, Anna, I've been wondering..."
"What?" Anna asked.
"How long have you owned your own dance studio?" Chelsea asked.
"I've been co-founder/owner of the Unstoppable Tap and Musical Theater School since I graduated from Hudson River University a few months ago," Anna replied.
"Co-founder?" Chelsea asked, confused.
"My husband, Albert Cole, and I both founded and own the place," Anna replied. "It used to be a dance school called the, Reman Manhattan Dance Academy; Stacie and I used to dance here and my Mom danced here briefly while she was an exchange student at RMP. Unfortunately, the dance school went out of business just a week before Albert and I graduated from college. Fortunately, after graduating, Albert and I bought and revived the place, renaming it the, 'Unstoppable Tap and Musical Theater School'. Here we teach both tap dancing and musical theater to people of all ages."
"That's so cool there's a place where people of all ages can learn both tap dancing and musical theater!" Chelsea commented.
"It's never too late to take up tap dancing and/or musical theater," Anna said. "Now, let's head on in."
With that said, the three entered the front entrance of UTAMTS.
Later, Anna, Krista, and Chelsea walked into one of the dance studios of UTMTS. Krista and Chelsea were wearing black leotards, white socks, and black lace-up tap shoes. Anna on the other hand, was wearing red and black lace-up tap shoes in place of her Mary Janes.
"This studio looks amazing!" Chelsea commented on the studio. The studio had a giant mirror on the East side, windows lining the West and South sides, and there was the entrance into the studio with the school's logo next to it on the North side. "And you get a great view of downtown Manhattan."
"I'm glad you like the studio," Anna said, appreciating Chelsea's comment. "This studio kinda reminds me of my old personal dance studio at my parents' house in Yonkers before it was turned into a workout room after I went off to college."
Chelsea turned to Krista and asked, "Where in your house do you have a place to tap dance?"
Krista turned to Chelsea, "Since my older brothers couldn't stand my tap dancing, I had to confine my tapping to my bedroom. My bedroom was renovated with soundproof walls and floor so my tapping wouldn't disturb anyone. After the renovation, Anna helped build a little dance studio in my bedroom."
"You must be really lucky to have Anna for a sister/dance teacher/mentor," Chelsea said.
Krista nodded, "I am. She's a remarkable sister/dance teacher/mentor."
Anna smiled from ear-to-ear, "Krista, it's always sweet of you to say that."
Chelsea looked around and asked, "Where's the rest of the class?"
"There are no classes today," Anna replied. "On Tuesdays and Thursdays, its free time all day for students. There are however, rehearsals for upcoming shows students and faculty can take part in if they wanted to. Today is Tuesday and I'm not directing any shows, so we have the rest of the day to help bring you up to speed so you can attend group classes with Krista."
Chelsea smiled, "I'm a fast learner. I shouldn't have trouble being brought up to speed. Just hope my Mom is okay with me spending the rest of the afternoon tap dancing."
"Don't worry, Chelsea," Anna assured. "I talked to your Mom about it while you and Krista were getting changed and she's okay with it."
Chelsea smiled, "Thanks, Anna... I mean, Miss Stoppable, since you're gonna be my teacher."
"It's okay, Chelsea, you can call me, Anna," Anna assured. She then clapped her hands. "Now, let's get dancing!"
To Be Continued…
A/N: Seems Krista had a good first day of school at RMP and made a new friend. But sadly, there's a Bonnie wannabe at RMP. So, aside from the Bonnie wannabe, I will have no doubt Krista will love private school.
And it seems Chelsea will no doubt love going to UTAMTS with Krista.
