The camera panned to the old woman, she looked confused. "On whose authority?" She asked with a tone of anger, the man looked at her and said; "Mine" He said as he raised a gun and blasted her, killing her as she could only give a whimper of fading pain. 'He doesn't play around does he?' Todorki said; 'Not necessary' Midoriya thought in anger, as he saw the scene. The Council and El turned around and looked at the man in the black armour. "The rest of you will be tried and punished accordingly" The man said as he got closer to the council, he looked at his followers and they soon started to walk closer to the council. Midoriya wrote notes down, and analyzed it; 'Are there some type of ideological outbreak? Or just a facade for a "peaceful" coup' Midoriya asked himself.
"What are you doing Zod?" El said as he walked closer to Zod. 'Zod is his name' Midoriya muttered as he wrote down Zod's name. 'Bad idea El, you're just going to get blasted to pieces!' Bakugo said. 'I would shoot you'; Todorki muttered as he shook his head; 'By the tone of how El said it to Zod, I get the feeling they may be "friends".' Todoroki theorized. 'He's an idiot then' Bakugo said. "This is madness," El said looking at Zod as he walked closer. "What I should have done years ago. These lawmakers with their endless debates, have led Krypton to ruin" Zod stated, as the film showed his followers dragging the council men and women to the ground, the first councilmen was thrown to the ground and his crown fell off. Bakugo silently agreed on with some Zod's points, minus the killing parts and the coup part. 'Gotta agree with that, sometimes talking and talking instead of acting can lead to a shittier situation' Bakugo said, Todoroki agreed to a lesser extent. 'Indeed, but he went the wrong way when he started killing'. Midoriya gave a slight nod; 'But sometimes talking things out, can better than acting, works both ways' Midoriya said
"And if your forces prevail? You'll be the leader of nothing" El said, the film showed Zod walking towards El. "Then join me, help me save our race. We'll start anew, we'll sever the degenerative bloodlines that led us to this state' Zod said as he put his hand on El's shoulder as he said it in a more calm tone. He looked at the council with hate as he mentioned "degenerative bloodlines". 'Told you they were friends' Todoroki said with a smirk. 'HE JUST OFFERED TO JOIN HIM, DOESN'T MEAN THERE FRIENDS, HALF-HALF BASTARD' Bakugo exclaimed, Midoriya kept silent and made another annotation. 'Zod and El are friends? At the very least mutual acquaintances?' Midoriya asked himself in his mind, and scribbled those theories on his notebook.
"And who will decide which bloodline survives. You?" El asked, Zod looked at him. "Don't do this El. The last thing I want is for us to be enemies" Zod said, El looked around and looked once again at Zod. "You have abandoned the principles that bound us together, you've TAKEN up the sword against your own people. I will honour the man you once were Zod, not this monster you have become" El said as he took a slight step back, his face showed a small bit of disgust. 'Told you they were friends' Todoroki said, Bakugo growled but he kept his attention on the screen. Zod looked a bit down and stood analyzing for a few seconds. "Take him away," Zod said as he turned his back.
'I guess they were friends' Midoriya said. The film showed El being escorted by two soldiers as they pointed their guns at El, a machine stood in front of them and made a strange noise. "Sir is everything all right?" The machine asked El as it's "mirror" warped. "Out of the way," A guard behind El said, El closed his eyes. "I said--" Before the guard could finish, the machine flashed a light, one of the guards fired, El started attacking the guards, he headbutted one to his left, grabbed the arm of the right one and punched him, the one behind him tried to shoot but he grabbed his gun and shot upwards, he finally was able to put the guards down, one tried to attack him but quickly grabbed a gun and shot him, a guard tried attacking him but he punched him on the face, a guard behind him tried forcing out the gun, El with his elbow hit the back guard and then shot the laid guard, he turned around and punched the back guard and finally knocked him out.
"Get me Lara," El said. 'They seem to be pretty direct people...Human or not' Midoriya said. 'The way it should be' Todoroki said. 'I would call El a hypocrite, he just killed those dudes after reprimanding Zod, but it was in "self-defense" Bakugo stated. 'Not defending him, but maybe it's different? I mean Zod is doing a coup and did mention he was going to "sever" bloodlines, so maybe it's a cultural thing? What Zod did is probably more severe to them,' Midoriya said as he made notes on the woman they saw earlier. The machine's metallic "mirror" warped to form an image of El's wife. "Jor behind you!" Lara warned. 'Is his name Jor or El?' Todoroki said. 'Well his wife called him Jor, but the council and Zod called him El. Maybe El is a surname and Jor a first name?' Midoriya asked. 'Most likely' Bakugo agreed, Midoriya widened his eyes along with Todoroki. 'WHAT?' Bakugo said as he glared at Midoriya. 'No-no-nothing' Midoriya muttered.
Jor-El turned back and started shooting two guards, they screamed in pain as they fell down, Jor-El looked at the machine; "Lara you have to ready the launch, I'll be with you as soon as I can' Jor-El said, the film showed Jor-El running towards a balcony as an epic but ominous them played, a ship passed as gunfire rang. A massive ship was being attacked as Jor-El looked at the scene, he saw in the air dozens of ships shooting at each other as a battle unfolded, the massive ship of before was destroyed and started falling down, Jor-El started looking around the aerial battle. "H'Raka!!!" Jor-El shouted as he looked up to the air, a roar rang through the cinema, a large winged beast appeared on screen as it flew towards Jor-El, it landed near Jor-El, Jor-El gave a small shout and H'Raka jumped down. Bakugo started chuckling. 'Hey it almost sounds like Uraraka's name, even sounds like her too!!' Bakugo laughed as he spoke, Midoriya was a bit annoyed at Bakugo's wording, Todoroki scoffed. 'Idiot rocket-head' Todoroki said; 'What did you say BASTARD?' Bakugo asked as he raised his fist. Todoroki ignored Bakugo, to him what was happening on screen was more interesting than Bakugo's usual tirades, Todoroki thought.
Bakugo calmed himself, he muttered a few curses and quickly put himself to see the movie once again, it was much more interesting than Todoroki being a bitch and the action scenes were starting and they looked cool enough, Bakugo thought
The film showed Jor-El mounted on H'Raka gliding down as they passed down a large building, the aerial battle raged on and the film soon focused on Jor-El flying down, he passed with great speed through the battle, a blast from behind showed behind Jor-El, he flew towards a strange tree like structure that was very large, Jor-El got over a part of the building. "Can you see the codex?" Jor-El asked, the same machine floated next to Jor-El. "It's beneath the central hub sir. But I am compelled to warn you breaching the genesis chamber is a class b crime punishable by--" The machine's warning was stopped by Jor-El. "No one cares anymore Keelex, the world is about to come to an end" Jor-EL said as he readied to jump. 'That machine is dumb as hell, maybe that council programmed it!!' Bakugou jokes, which earned a few chuckles from his friends. 'Must be rigid on laws, but not enough to stop it from being an accomplice' Midoriya said, Todoroki nodded, 'I wonder if their machines even have the concept of an "end",' Todoroki questioned
Jor-El jumped towards a pit with water, he started swimming around a tunnel that connected the pit he entered, a mechanical like noise played, and soon along with a calm noise, there was some type of seaweed like tubes in the water with light peach coloured spheres. A type of tentacle grabbed one of the spheres, it had a newborn inside, and the machine took it out. This shocked the three boys. 'There artificially birthed?' the three said in unison and in great shock. 'This society has mass artificial births?' Midoriya said in shock, he had heard old pre-quirk society theories on how that would be the future of mankind, Midoriya never paid too much attention to it, just old predictions from a long bygone era, but it was a shock to see it in an implemented way. He quickly wrote down on his note 'Krypton, a society sustained by artificial birth, and maybe a caste system?' Midoriya wrote down, and made a sketch of that machine and the sphere. 'Must suck knowing you were made in a lab' Bakugo stated, Todoroki agreed with a nod. 'Or a eugenics project, just so a perfect quirk could be made' Todoroki thought as he looked down the cinema floor. 'Reminds me of those fucktard nomu's just less grotesque, and at least potato head wasn't artificially birthing people into this world' Bakugo said with some disgust and hatred as he remembered One For All. 'That we know of' Midoriya said.
Jor-El was on film once again he swam up through those tubes; There was a green like orifice above him which he swam up towards, he finally arrived and rose up from the water and took a breath as he rose up, on film it showed root like things connected to a skull as the roots seemed to sparkle energy towards it; The skull had runes glowing in a sun like fashion. Jor-El grabbed the skull, the energy of the skull started to fade and he looked at it as he held it in his hand, a peaceful but alien sound played for a few brief seconds, till it was cut down by a beeping sound, a more tense sound started to play on scene, he swam back towards were he entered, his hand holding the skull fell his hands to the border of the pit, and Jor-El rose up. A mechanical sound played along with the tense music as a turret appeared and started turning. 'So that's the codex?' Midoriya asked himself, he made another sketch; 'I expected something more...futuristic looking, not a "monkey" skull, but an interesting take though' Todoroki said. 'I expected it to look like that, some type of "honoring" the past thing' Bakugo said.
"Jor-El, by the authority of general Zod, surrender the codex" A voice said, Jor-El looked down as he saw a ship was shooting another ship, the ship that threatened Jor-El shot a blast, and Jor-El jumped. 'Dumbass, does he want to destroy the codex? Or what' Bakugo said. 'Maybe the pilot just got nervous and shot' Midoriya said, Bakugo ignored Midoriya. A suspenseful theme played as Jor-El fell down, soon H'Raka appeared on scene and a more victorious sounding theme played as H'Raka saved Jor-El. The three started celebrating, as it had been a pretty tense sequence for the few minutes. Jor-El grunted as he struggled to get on the mount, a blast came from the back two ships followed him, the first one shot continuous blasts. Jor-El saw two ships crashing each other, the two ships followed but the two bigger ships started exploding, the one that had been shooting Jor-El was crushed by the wing of the bigger ship, as the second ship followed, Jor-El rode through the explosion, but H'Raka crashed to a wall but was able to rebound in the air as it whimpered in pain. The three were on the edge of their seats, as the excitement of the film continued
They finally made it out and started flying over canyons, behind Jor-El the battle still raged on in the air as ships attacked each other, Jor-El observed a wound on the neck of H'Raka. 'Easy H'Raka' Jor-El said, trying to relax the four winged creature he rode. The film showed an observatory-like building, in the background the shattered moon from before was present to and to the right an intact one. 'He got lucky, any lost shot could have killed him' Todoroki said, Midoriya agreed with a nod. 'He looked very skilled riding the creature, I guess he must have years of experience with it' Midoriya said. H'Raka crash landed on a balcony, she dragged through the balcony, she grunted. The scene changed, Jor-El raised the skull upwards, and mechanical noise sounded as the skull was being "absorbed", the machine that took the skull was on a pedestal, it was above a cradle-stance; Jor-El was next to it and his wife Lara held her son. 'So his son is his hope' Todoroki muttered. "You found a new world?" Jor-El asked, a string noise played as his wife answered. "We have," Lara said with some sadness. "Orbiting a main sequence yellow star, just as you said it would" Keelex said, the machine showed the solar system.
'He's coming to earth…' Midoriya muttered, his eyes were set firm in the movie just as his two friends were. "Young star, the cells will drink it's radiation," Jor-El said. 'Does the sun feed them?' Bakugo asked himself; Midoriya scribbled on his notebook 'Yellow stars are important to Kryptonians?' He wrote, he had lots of answers but he still couldn't get a straight one. 'Maybe they are "plants" they feed off sun energy instead of food? But evolution-wise I don't think they should look the way they do, besides their sun is red, not exactly a good environment to be in' Todoroki stated. 'Whatever it is, it means something to these "Kryptonians".' Bakugo answered; Midoriya and Todoroki nodded. Keleex, showed the frame of a human skeleton and skull. "Seemingly intelligent population" Keleex then showed the human brain encased in it's skull. 'Seemingly? At least humans wouldn't be stupid enough to harvest there own fucking core, and then bitch like the dumbasses about how to save themselves!!! FUCKING FUCKTARD' Bakugo shouted with anger, his eyes were white and in a furious flame. 'Such vulgarity even for you Bakugo. I think El proved his point' Todoroki said with a smug smile, Midoriya gulped as he saw Bakugo turn his gaze to Todoroki. 'When the movie is finished. You're going to be finished too' Bakugo threatened, Todoroki shrugged and gave no second thought to it. 'Empty threats' Todoroki thought.
Lara looked worried; "He'll be an outcast. A freak" Lara said with a tone of worry, Jor-El looked at the machine. "They'll kill him,'' Lara stated. 'She's right, when quirks first emerged there was a great distrust and fear of those with quirks, especially the heteromorphic quirks. Add he is an alien, I can't even imagine the fear people would have' Midoriya said with some worry of the child. 'The letter did say he would be one of earth's greatest heroes, but it also mentioned a struggle in his life…' Midoriya said, Todoroki gave a nod. 'The brat will be fine, that red sun must have made the Kryptonians on average tougher than the average quirkless human' Bakugo said. 'True, but still he can't do much if he is just a newborn' Todoroki retorted.
"No, he'll be a god to them" Jor-El stated with confidence. The trio widened their eyes; 'A god!' Midoriya said in shock. 'How strong could he be? Is he stronger than All Might? And how can he be, they just look as strong as humans' Midoriya muttered. 'Our sun' Bakugou answered. 'I get the feeling a yellow sun is what makes them strong'. 'Even if it does, why don't they settle near yellow stars?, perhaps they have but they seem very worried about their race despite having outposts throughout the galaxy' Todoroki speculated. 'I think they may just not be near any yellow star and maybe in their universe yellow stars are less common. Still it would be strange for them to not take advantage of it, but then again we don't know what type of power they may get when under a yellow star' Midoriya speculated as well
Lara walked around the room; "But if the ship doesn't make it? He'll die out there, alone" Lara argued. The three sympathized with Lara's dilemma, there were so many variables that could happen, what if the child crashed on an uninhabitable world, crashed against a space rock, the moon, and even if it landed on earth. There was no guarantee the child would be safe, what if the government captured the boy, what if he landed with bad parents or something. They all thought of this but all they could do is watch helplessly.
"I can't do it, I thought I could but" Lara said, Jor-El spoke over her; "Lara" Jor-El said; "Now that he is here" Lara said with sadness, Jor-El got closer to her. "Krypton is doomed, it's his only chance now. It's our people's only hope" Jor-El said, Keleex did the noise he usually made. "What is it Keleex?" Jor-El asked; "There are five attack ships converging from the east," Keleex informed, as it showed the attack ships from earlier; "Citadel's defenses are being scanned and evaluated" Keleex said, as Jor-El looked at Lara. 'Just can't get rid of Zod. Man is persistent and a bit angry' Todoroki said; 'reminds me of someone' Todoroki finished his sentence, Bakugo glared at Todoroki; 'And you remind me off a donkey with a dunce head, dumb half and a half bastard' Bakugo retorted. 'Guys let's just calm down, no need to fight' Midoriya said; 'Hopefully that calms them' Midoriya thought, Bakugo scoffed and then grunted, Todoroki shrugged his shoulders. 'Thank you' Midoriya said with a smile. 'Shut up Deku' Bakugo said.
"I'll upload the codex" Jor-El said, his wife put her hand on his shoulder; "No wait" Lara said, she looked sadly at her son. "Lara '' Jor-El said, Lara looked at their son. "Just let me look at him," the lullaby from before played but it was more melancholic and sad. "We'll never get to see him walk, never hear him say our names" Lara said with increasing sadness, Jor-El lifted his son. "Out there, amongst the stars. He will live" Jor-El said, Lara lowered her head to give a kiss on the forehead to her son, Jor-El did the same thing, he then took him and placed him among the cradle, Lara tried comforting her son who was crying, Jor-El started using a console to set coordinates, the codex shot a beam under his naked son.
The three looked away for five seconds, then they faced the screen to see the movie again. Jor-El kept moving the console as the beam shot at his son; His son looked at his father, a shot appeared on some type of surface it soon started to meld and rise forming a type of key with the "S" incrusted in, the codex started to fade away and send itself towards the key. Lara spent her last moments with her son comforting him, Jor-El inserted the key inside an orifice of the cradle, Jor-El petted his son; "Goodby my son, our hopes and dreams travel with you" Jor-El said, Lara wanted to cry as Jor-El took his hand off the cradle, and fully inserted the key in.The cradle rose up and connected to a machine that closed up and revealed the "S" crest. 'That was sad' Midoriya said with some small tears from his eye; 'They just...are going to stay in their doomed home, just so their son can survive, but why?'; Todoroki spoke 'Maybe they feel they themselves are part of a problem within their society...Just a theory, but maybe they just had no time to build another shuttle either' said Todoroki with a stoic face, Bakugo grunted; 'Idiots' He muttered; 'They just wanted to die with their planet too, some dignity to themselves considering they only saved there son' Bakugo said. 'Still a sad thing' Bakugo thought. The three stood in silence, it was a heavy scene, the three thought; They thought of their parents and stood silent, simply waiting for the next scene. They noticed they had already eaten their food, they didn't even feel like they ate, they wished for a bit more, and the drone made another batch of what they had asked for previously. 'My father would have done the same for me too' Todoroki said. 'Can't let his masterpiece die...sometimes he is a hero...to the people at least' Todoroki joked a bit, the last two sentences came out as whispers, he drank his cold water.
Midoriya gave a short laugh; 'My mom would have done the same, no question. My dad I don't know, I barely know him,' Midoriya said with some sadness as he mentioned the last part, he opened his soda can and drank a bit from it. 'A deadbeat that's what he is' Bakugo said. 'He sends money every month, much more than enough for a two person household' Midoriya said. 'You can be a deadbeat dad in other ways' Bakugo grunted. Bakugo gave a small laugh. 'My father would have done the same, after a good tongue lash from the bitch.' Bakugo said with a laugh, Midoriya and Todoroki gave short chuckles. 'Anything to add some levity to the situation' The "Three Musketeers" thought. Midoriya remembered much earlier days when he and Kacchan were friends, or at least when it was mutual; Midoriya smiled a bit, Bakugo was changing for the better, he thought
They continued watching the movie. The five attack ships as Keleex had mentioned were coming they were under the red sun: Jor-El was being clad in a dark copper suit, it closed and showed the "S" crest, the tense music from before played again as the "observatory" was shown, the attack ships got close. "Concentrate fire on the main door" Zod ordered as he pointed towards the main door, a ship came down from where he was and started shooting along with four other attack ships to the main door. The film showed the main door being blown open, a hand touched a console and it started showing an image of the shuttle and it inverted. Lara was the one that used the console, she looked up to the shuttle as she inverted it upwards. "Lady Lara, the phantom drives are coming online" Keleex said; "Proceed to ignition" Lara said. 'This is getting too intense' Midoriya said, his eyes were almost glued to the screen as he observed every moment. Todoroki and Bakugo silently agreed. Zod's attack ship was landed, he was already in the front, his followers followed him. "General, we have identified an engine ignition within the citadel" The woman that was always near Zod said, Zod looked in front of himself. The three were getting a bit nervous, Midoriya deduced Zod knew nothing of Jor-El's son, for it would not even be considered a possibility to them at that point in their history.
"A launch" He said, he walked a bit forward and then turned his head; "Hold this platform commander" Zod said as he walked forward, a ship was landing near him as a more sinister theme played. 'I'm just sure Jiro would appreciate the soundtrack of this movie' Midoriya muttered, Todoroki gave a small nod. The chamber where the shuttle was in appeared and it seemed to already be starting it's ignition a fog-like thing came out from above, Zod walked in along with some of his men into the chamber, Jor-El walked out of the fog. Jor-El and Zod were face to face. 'A fight is going to happen' Bakugo uttered as he raised his fist. 'I have the feeling Jor-El may die,' Todoroki said; Midoriya gave a slight gulp, he was entranced by the movie.
"I know you stole the codex, Jor-El '' Zod said, Jor-El was the focus of the scene, he held a rifle in the same colour of his armour. "Surrender it and I'll let you live" Zod said as he gave a small step to the front, eyes heavy and unmoving on Jor-El. "This is a second chance for all of Krypton not just the bloodlines you deem worthy" Jor-El said, Zod had his eyes wide-opened. "What have you done?" Zod asked as he looked at Jor-El. "We've had a child Zod. A boy child. Krypton's first natural birth in centuries. And he will be free, free to forge his own destiny" Jor-El said, Zod's face rose in anger. "Heresy!!" Zod exclaimed. "Destroy it!" Zod ordered as he pointed his hand towards the shuttle, his men raised their guns but Jor-El was quick and shot the two guards behind Zod, one by one. The scene was tense the three thought; Bakugo wanted to add a bit of levity to it. 'He's just mad Jor-El won't die a virgin' Bakugou jokes, but it fell on deaf ears as Midoriya and Todoroki were too focused on what was happening on screen.
The tense music became a bit louder, Zod grabbed the muzzle of the gun and with his free hand punched Jor-El in the face, he spins and grabs the gun but Jor-El is able to free himself from Zod's grip and starts hitting him with the gun; Jor-El gives an upwards slash and cuts the side of Zod's face he gives a small screech of pain but he continues, Jor-El tries to shoot Zod, but Zod with arm moves the rifle away before it can reach his face, he starts trying to take Jor-El's gun away from him and a "tug of war" starts for the guns, Zod pushes Jor-El against a wall, the rifle was close to his neck; The gun shot a beam. 'Pretty close fight' Midoriya muttered, he was worried for Jor-El if he would even make it out alive
The console that Lara previously was using reappeared; Lara still used the machine, she gave a quick glance at the struggle between Jor-El and Zod, she returned her gaze at the console, with Jor-El and Zod the struggle continued; They dropped the gun, Zod punched Jor-El soon they found themselves to blows, Zod launched a punch but Jor-El is able to grab his arm, he shoves the arm he grabbed and Zod screams in pain, he puts his back on Zod's back and pushes him against the wall, he strikes back but Jor-El dodges it. Zod launches a blow to Jor-El's stomach, he does it again but Jor-El steps back. Zod tries to punch Jor-El in the face. Jor-El narrowly evades the punch and launches his punch to Zod's face. Jor-El finally gets the upper hand and gets to successfully punch Zod two times, Zod counter attack, but Jor-El blocks and this leaves Zod wide open to an attack; Jor-El strikes against Zod's stomach, he then punches from below Zod in the face, he pushes Zod; Zod tries to punch back but fails, Jor-El puts his hand on Zod's shoulder and starts landing punches on Zod's face, he throws him against the wall and Zod finally falls down to the ground
The three gave small cheers at Jor-El's victory. Jor-El picks his rifle; Zod looks at Jor-El with anger, the console Lara was using reappears and she seems to have finished configuring the coordinates and calculations, the shuttle thrusters start firing up. Lara is about to launch the ship with a button but Zod's voice is heard. "Lara!! Listen to me. The codex is Krypton's future, abort the launch" Zod said, Lara looked at Jor-EL and Jor-El at Lara, the camera focused on Lara and then on her hand, and she pushed the button with her finger, what held the shuttle unbinded it self, and the shuttle lift off, the rockets blinded Lara and she rose her hand. Jor-El saw his son leave. "NOOO!" Zod shouted, a blade retracted from his gauntlet. Zod stabbed Jor-El as he looked up. Jor-El's gaze fell unto Zod, Zod seemed to have a tinge of regret in his eyes. Zod took out the blade and Jor-El gasped.
'He killed him' Midoriya muttered; 'A crappy end for the guy' Bakugo uttered with a shake of his head. 'At least he could see his son leave' Todoroki said. Jor-El looked at Zod and then he fell backwards, the metal of his armour clanged against the floor, Zod looked at Jor-El, he turned around, the melancholic theme played again as Lara ran too Jor-El, she put herself on her knees and put her arm on Jor-El's chest, Lara's breathing was heavy as she looked at Jor-El; 'Your son Lara, where have you sent him?' Zod asked Lara; Lara put her head on Jor-El's chest. "HIS name is Kal son El," Lara said, as she raised her head to face Zod. "And he's beyond your reach," Lara said. Todoroki spoke; 'First he wants to kill his son, then he kills his husband; Then casually ask where he sent his son'. 'The nerve of some people' Bakugo said, Todoroki looked at Bakugo; 'Yeah', this won a glare from Bakugo. Midoriya was deep in thought, Jor-El was dead...He fought hard just so he could save his son and sent him too earth, in a sense it reminded of him when All Might faced All For One in public, sure Jor-El against Zod was "lesser" in the stakes as if All Might lost...Midoriya didn't want to know what would have happened. 'One For All might be extinct by now, I wouldn't have time to train my power, I may have been killed. And he might have ushered his reign of terror and heroes would be systematically hunted down' Midoriya thought. 'If Jor-El had lost, his son might have died, would Zod kill an infant? Just to extract the codex?' Midoriya thought again but seeing as he killed his friend, and the fact he called Kal's birth "heresy" Midoriya was sure he would have or at least if he couldn't extract the codex in a more humane way. 'Both were willing to give it their all...there life just for another day more. A sacrifice just for more hope, it was "lesser in stakes" on the fact it was for one life instead of dozens, but it was greater in the way it was the battle for Krypton's last hope and if the situation is as grave as Jor-El, the council and Zod implied. Kal may be Krypton's last hope,' Midoriya thought. 'Last hope of an entire race' Midoriya muttered.
The noise of the attack ships was played, the commander was on screen along with her comrades, she looked in front of her. Zod walked towards her, he got near and turned to look up towards the sky. "Bring that ship down," Zod said. This confirmed Midoriya's thoughts on Zod. 'Bastard cunt, infant killing fucktard!!' Bakugo said; 'Reminds of someone' Todoroki said, Bakugo glared at Todoroki with a heavy scowl. 'I don't kill newborns!!!' Bakugo shouted; 'But you do make them cry' Todoroki retorted, Midoriya shook his head but gave a small chuckle. 'DEKU WHAT'S SO FUNNY?' Bakugo "asked". 'Nothing Kacchan' Midoriya answered. One of the attack ships flew up, it prepared it's turret to shoot, the pilot in a heavy suit appeared on screen. "Target locked" It said. Midoriya was a bit nervous; Todoroki was pensive as he watched the occurrence and Bakugo looked at the screen with narrowed eyes A projectile shot down the attack ship, as Zod and his commander looked above, the shuttle Kal-El was in warped and flashed a white-blue, and left as the debris of the ship fell down. Zod and his commander saw that out of the flames of the ship a large ship came out and pointed it's turret towards them.
"Lay down your weapons; Your forces are surrounded" The ship announced as it flashed them with light, Zod lowered his gaze, his forces did as they were told. Zod gave a cold glare up to the ship, as he saw many more ships come: Zod had lost the civil war. Zod finally lowered his gaze. 'Justice is served' Todoroki said; 'Serves that scumbag right' Bakugo said. Todoroki raised his eyebrow. 'I thought you agreed with him' Todoroki jokes, Bakugo did not see it as a joke and his eyes turned white. 'IN SOME WAYS, ICE BRAIN, EMPHASISE IN THE SOME WAYS' Bakugo shouted. 'Not the end, I doubt it. I fear Zod may have more in store,' Midoriya said. 'He's gonna get executed, Deku. Can't come back from that one' Bakugo said with annoyance; 'Can you? No, no you can't, shut up' Bakugou said. "General Zod for the crimes of murder and high-treason; The council has sentenced you and your fellow insurgents to three hundred cycles of somatic reconditioning' The councilman from before stated, Zod and his followers were all hand cuffed and standing over circles. Bakugo stood silent once he heard the councilmen's words, his blonde hair almost spiked; His eyes became white and flamed with steel melting fire and a legendary scowl formed in his face. 'ARE YOU FUCKING, IN THE FUCK SCREWING ME!!!' Bakugo shouted, Midoriya gulped and covered his ears as Todoroki did. 'FIRST THAT GUY DOES A COUP, STARTS A CIVIL WAR, MURDERS AND YOU ARE LETTING HIM LIVE? ARE YOU FUCKING DUMB YOU STUPID DUMBASS, DICKHEAD BALD CUNT!!!' Bakugo shouted with intense hatred.
"Do you have any last words?" The councilman asked. 'Your a fool' Bakugo snorted. Zod looked at the councilman. "YOU WON'T KILL US YOURSELF, YOU WOULDN'T SULLY YOUR HANDS. But you'll damn us to a blackhole for eternity!!" Zod exclaimed as he rushed to the councilman but was held back by two guards who sent him back to his circle. Zod spitted and Lara just looked down. "Jor-El was right!!, you're a pack of fools!!. Every last one of you!!" Zod angrily said as he stepped back to his circle but he turned and went towards Lara; "And YOU" Zod said as he walked towards Lara, but the guards stopped him once again. "You believe your son is safe?" Zod said and then he shook his head with a "calmed" anger. "I WILL find him!" Zod said as the guards pushed him back. "I will reclaim what YOU have taken from US" Zod stated with anger, Lara just glared at Zod as she kept silent, as Zod was being sent back he still spoke; "I will find him" Zod was finally put in place. "I will find him Lara" Zod said again as Lara kept her glare on Zod. "I WILL FIND HIM!" Zod exclaimed for a last time as the tense music blasted once again as Zod glared at Lara, a strange noise started to sound, Zod's legs seemed to freeze up, along with his followers. Zod kept his glare, his followers seemed to be in pain once almost fully enveloped in the transparent material as shown by one of Zod's men in the back, the commander started to groan in pain as the material enveloped her. Despite the fact Zod was being enveloped, he kept his glare on Lara and he shut his eyes and the material fully enveloped him
'He was so angry that not even the pain made him take his glare away' Midoriya said; 'Real hardass, wouldn't wanna imagine him with a quirk and a bone to pick' Todoroki said. 'Tssst, too bad the guy is probably gonna die on that planet; 'Never gonna recover that thing, I can tell that; He just got screwed for his own actions, dumbass' . The film focused on the councilman as he raised his hand up, the capsules rose flew up. Midoriya gave a small blush; 'Those look like--'. 'Just ignore that part' Todoroki muttered. The capsules flew up to the crater of a ship, the councilman looked up as they flew up, the large ship the capsule had flown up to closed up and started to prepare to fly off, it started to rise as a few of the ships from late passed by it, Lara looked up and then forward. The scene changed and the ship was flying up and then it cut to it above orbit, and a circular machine activated and started to open a triangular portal as the ship entered, it started to close as the ship fully entered
'Are you kidding me!!! Instead of saving themselves and evacuating people off the planet, they use their resources to save VILLAINS!!!" Bakugo shouted in rage; 'At this point they deserve their planet to be blown up!' Midoriya had to agree (Minus the "deserving" of the implosion of the planet). 'I can't defend them, it just makes no sense, they seem to not be maliciously incompetant, just dumbly incompetant' Midoriya said; 'They act as if there was only a certain way to do thing, but they are artificially born so maybe there also programmed and they only can follow certain things?' Todoroki questioned. 'You would have to be a basic machine just to only follow a command and no other; Doesn't take a genius to take that ship far away, and leave the criminals on the planet or somewhere else' Bakugo complained. Jor-El's armour appeared on screen, Lara put her hand on the crest and then it seemed to close as it slightly retreated back, Lara looked away and started to walk as the Kero was behind her; Rumbling noises sounded. 'The Implosion has already begun?' Midoriya said. 'Jor-El said it would have taken weeks, must have miscalculated' Todoroki said as he looked at the screen with his hand on his chin.
Beams of lava shot up to the sky as the red sun was in the distance, Lara walked to her balcony as she saw her home slowly being destroyed, Kero followed Lara. "Lady Lara, shouldn't you find refuge?" Keleex asked. "There is no refuge Kero, Jor-El was right , this is the end" Lara said as she saw more lava beams come out of the ground, a sad theme played throughout the scene, Lara continued seeing the scene as Kerp stood behind her. "Make a better world than ours Kal" Lara said as she could only gaze at the doom of her home, and then finally the flames of her world consumed her. Soon a full shot of Krypton from space was shown, a yellow crack split the world, and soon many more did; It quickly scorched the world, and then it exploded as a shockwave was released from the core, shattering Krypton. The three stood in silence as they could only watch, it was a dreadful thing to think about to the three; 'Seeing your world, doomed. Being unable to save it, and unable to do anything about it at that point, all to just finally see it die in front of you, is just terrible' Midoriya spoke, he had his hands clutched, he was training to be a hero and even if it was in another universe it still irked his heart that he could do anything to save those people of Krypton. 'Never want to imagine it or live it,;' Bakugo said. 'Worst still, she'll never know if her son made it or not' Todoroki added.
The film showed Saturn, from the distance a blue warp flashed, and the shuttle Kal-El was in came out, it traveled through the void; It passed by the Moon and Earth was in the distance, it was over a coast filled with light, it entered the atmosphere and passed through the dark sky, it passed over a field and seemed it was to land over a field. The scene changed, it was day and a boat navigated through the sea. 'Can you pause the film?' Midoriya asked. 'Sure!' The drone answered happily. Bakugo scowled; 'What for Deku?' Bakugo grunted. 'I think we should take a break at least for the night. Our classmates haven't seen the movie yet, and Aizawa hasn't seen it. They should see it with us, I think it's only fair,' Midoriya explained. 'I would like to continue with the movie, but I don't think the rest of class would take it well' Todoroki said; 'I guess tomorrow we continue, what do you say Bakugou?' Todorok asked. Bakugo thought for a second; 'Eh can't say I'm not tempted to see what comes next. Especially since Jor-El mentioned his son would be a god to us, wish to see how strong he actually is, but then the damn ex...classmates would get all mad or something, tssst dumbasses. Kirishma I guess would be good having him here, but I can already hear him constantly saying "So manly" everytime someone does something cool and risks themselves' Bakugo thought; 'Tssst, anything to keep extras happy; Besides if they suspect we three did something together, I can already here them asking a bunch of stupid questions and theorizing' Bakugo explained.
'But YOU'LL tell them, I don't have to explain anything to them' Bakugo finished as he looked up, Midoriya nodded; 'Done' He said. 'I guess I better send you back, so when do you want to see the movie again? Tomorrow, next week? Month? And at what hour?' The drone asked. 'Tomorrow and at three o'clock, fucktard' Bakugo said as he turned back. 'Real charming' Todoroki said as he crouched, Bakugo crouched too and glared at Todoroki and his eyes turned white. 'Don't think I forgot what I promised' Bakugo said as he launched himself at Todoroki, then started wrestling, and once they noticed they had their quirks activated, they started shooting at each other. Midoriya intervened as he used his full-cowling and pushed them away, sending the two away from each other. 'Relax!!!, we were getting along!!' Midoriya said, he sighed; 'We are stronger together, remember?'
Bakugo turned his back; 'Tssst, whatever Midoriya' Bakugo said, Todoroki huffed and looked as stoic as ever; 'Taking you back' The drone said, the three started to warp back to Midoriya's room. The three were once again in Midoriya's room, the box from before was gone and the three quickly took notice of it. The three sat on the floor as they faced each other. 'Jor-El killed a lot of people' Midoriya said. 'Different morality and values, he didn't seem to view him as a hero or at least I don't he did, just a man trying to save his race in a "more" peaceful manner, much more than Zod at least' Todoroki said; 'I don't condone his actions though' Todoroki said. 'Eh the movie is interesting, but some things don't make sense, especially some of the characters' actions' Bakugo said. 'I think it's all but confirmed they can only think and do things a certain way. Jor-El said his son would be free to choose his path. That must mean they can only do what they were birthed to do' Midoriya said
'Can't be a good way to make a society function, you're basically only dealing with extremes of different solutions that could be solved in less extreme ways, hell we saw it with Jor-El and Zod. Jor-El for all it seems he was convinced the only way Krypton can survive is sending his son with the codex to earth, and Zod by taking the planet and getting rid of "degenerative bloodlines" Todoroki said. 'The council probably wanted to save Krypton in its own way, even if it's hard to believe', Midoroya nodded. 'Zod did mention they were lawmakers, it's obvious he was military and Jor-El science. That explains why they didn't execute them, they are so rigid and uncompromising to their own laws they follow standard procedure even in the end of the world. A narrow view for they can only see that way' Midoriya said. 'Would explain their dumbassery,' Bakugo muttered.
'It's a scary thought of being in that position, seeing your world implode and you're helpless to do anything' Midoriya said, he looked down, Bakugo agreed as he nodded. 'I would only be angry, I would curse the entire world just for that' Bakugo spoke, as he kept his gaze on Midoriya. 'When are you not angry?' Todoroki asked, Bakugo turned to glare at Todoroki; 'When I'm beating the crap out of you'. 'What quirk do you think the Man of Steel has?' Midoriya quickly asked his two friends to avoid any escalation. 'Don't know, we'll see tomorrow' Bakugo grunted. 'A mystery, maybe invulnerability? Or a quirk similar to Tetsutetsu? Would be disappointed if that was the quirk that makes him a "god" to us' Todoroki speculated. 'Perhaps multiple quirks?' Midoriya added. 'Like you' Bakugo angrily said.
Someone started knocking on Midoriya's door. 'You guys in there?' It was Kirishima. 'Yeah!' Bakugo said. 'Were in here, Kirishima. What did you need?' Midoriya asked. 'Nothing, just wanted to know where Bakugo was' Kirishima told the three. 'What are you guys doing together?' Kirishima asked with some surprise in his tone. 'Strategizing' Todoroki quickly said. 'You three are always pushing yourself to the limit, so manly!!' Kirishima happily exclaimed; 'But don't get cocky, I'm catching up too' Kirishima happily said as he left. 'Great' Bakugo muttered angrily; 'Now he's gonna blabber out to Ashido, that we three were in the same room. And she's gonna start telling all the girls, and then by breakfast everyone is gonna be hounding us for questions' Bakugo complained. 'I don't think he would,' Midoriya said. 'I'm outta here, I need to sleep, tomorrow I have to train' Bakugo said as he rose up.
Todoroki did too. 'Gotta get some rest too, goodnight Midoriya' Todoroki said, Bakugo walked towards the door. 'Goodnight Todoroki, rest well. Goodnight Kacchan, rest well!' Midoriya said, Bakugo gave a growl. 'Night Deku' Bakugo grunted out, Midoriya was surprised and had his eyes widened and mouth open, Todoroki even seemed surprised, the two left the room and Todoroki closed the door, Midoriya looked at the door and nodded as he went back to lay on his bed. He looked at the ceiling and just couldn't sleep, he was too excited to see the next part of the movie.
A/N: Just wanted to say I was going to post this earlier but I had conflicting schedules, and then I had heard of Kentaro Miura's death which came as a massive shock to me, I thought it was just some bad joke and I couldn't believe it. He was a great artist and made a wonderful work in Berserk. Rest in peace Miura, a true legend.
