(A/N: Well, Good Friday, and I manage to get wi-fi. But it's mom's ex-boyfriend's, but he doesn't mind at all. Also, PrincePacman47, I did not realise Geoff was rude. Maybe, the supposed loss of his friends and sister makes him rough on others, mostly Lloyd, or maybe because he needed to motivate Lloyd a little)
Several more days has past since the Sons of Garmadon have taken over Ninjago City and Oni Garmadon becoming the Emperor, making it a week. Borg Tower was in disarray, smoke filled most of the streets, many banners with the Sons of Garmadon insignia were all over the town, but some had a green lightning bolt spray painted on them, people were either looking for spots to hide or loot supplies. The highway had several destroyed cars, broken masks, and a half-brunt drawing of a Ninja before some bikers pass by. At the canal, a fisherman was handing out supplies to people in need before a foghorn was heard, apparently warning them of incoming Sons of Garmadon bikers, as some pass through the canal. And the golem stood in front of Borg Tower. At the moment, a middle aged woman runs across a road as a Son of Garmadon biker passes by. In the wreckage of a building, someone, wearing a green cloak and carrying a rucksack, looks out into the streets before backing away, comes up to the ledge, grabs hold of it, and allows themself to drop down before continuing to leave the wreckage, inadvertently slipping off. A nearby TV that was showing nothing but static soon came on. "Welcome back to Ultra Hunt!" The TV was showing Ultra Violet as the figure passes by the TV. "The place where hunting traitors couldn't be more fun." She soon laughs. The screen then turned to someone coming around a corner. It was Ronin, who immediately punched the cameraman, and takes off. "The game show where you, the viewer, can win cash rewards, or even the grand prize if you help us catch the Green Ninja." The figure passes between two dumpsters before stopping outside a TV store to see Ronin being knocked onto the ground by a motorbike before Barry, wearing a vandalised police uniform, jumps onto him, immediately forcing him up.
The screens soon turned to Ultra Violet next to a middle aged woman, who was holding a phone. "I won!" The woman said. "I made the call! I did that!"
The screens turn back to Ronin, who was cuffed at the front, being forced forward by Barry and the black mohawked member, passing behind Ultra Violet. "Today's fugitive is Commissioner Navis!" She holds up a photo of Navis. A member soon comes up next to her, and whispers something. "Wait, I just received some breaking news." The screens soon turned to Tania, running away from some bikers while carrying some supplies. "Tania River Sanders, mother of the Yellow Ninja and the late Crystal Ninja has just been spotted, running down Andreasen Boulevard. We currently have a chase occurring. Let's get in on the action!" Ultra Violet is soon heard ululating.
"Hey." A member in a vandalised police uniform called out, coming up behind the figure before nudging them. "Haven't you heard? The colour green has been outlawed. Emperor Garmadon's orders. Or are you actually a member of The Green Light?" He forces the cloak off of them, revealing the wearer was Dareth, who sports a stubble.
"Fine, you found the Brown Ninja." He replied as a fellow biker, also in a vandalised police uniform tosses the rucksack to his fellow 'officer', and he gets out a Puffy Potsticker while Dareth does some fighting moves. "But I may not go quietly." The biker nudges him.
"Brown Ninja? Is he even on the list?" He looks at the Puffy Potsticker.
"No list I know." The other 'officer' said, taking it. "Is his power hoarding food?"
Dareth soon turned to face him. "I will have you know my intense training requires a high calorie intake." He replied, swiping the Puffy Potsticker, and puts it in his pocket while the 'officer' is handed a cake by his fellow 'officer'. "And for the record, your insensitivity to this matter is downright cruel."
The first 'officer' with the rucksack chuckles. "He's just a wannabe." He said, putting the rucksack on his shoulder. "Cut him loose." The 'officer' pushes Dareth down.
"Thanks for the breakfast." He sarcastically said before starting to walk away.
"The Resistance will make you pay!" Dareth called out.
"What resistance?" The first 'officer' asked as he and the other 'officer' leave him behind, and laugh.
"And, we just received confirmation." Ultra Violet said on the TV as Dareth got up, and turned to the TV to see Seymour and two members holding Tania down while Scars held his shotgun at her while her rucksack was next to him. "Tania Sanders has just been captured. I repeat, Tania Sanders has been captured."
The TV image then turned to a young boy. "Thank you!" He said as he is handed a sack of money. "Thank you very much! I can't believe I won!"
"Geoff's not gonna like this." Dareth said as he soon took off.
Out at Andreasen Boulevard, Scars watches as Seymour and the bikers drag a handcuffed Tania away before he notices two families close by. They all appear to be hungry as the kids had hands on their stomachs, and a blonde haired woman had a visible baby bump. Knowing that they looked like they were about to beseech him, but didn't want to be caught, Scars checks to see that the cameraman was gone before kicking the rucksack over to the two families, making it slide along, and one of the men quickly grabs hold of it. The pregnant woman then turned to Scars and smiled. "Thank you." She mouthed, being teary eyed that a Son of Garmadon did a good deed. Seeing the kids smile at him as well for his kindness, Scars did so as well before taking off, not wanting to be left behind.
In an alleyway, Dareth looks at his surroundings, but finds nothing before heading over to the dumpster, coming across the door to the storage container, and heads inside.
Inside the storage container, Lloyd, who now had a stubble, tried to throw a punch at Blake, who also had a stubble, as he tilts back before placing his hands on the ground, raises his legs to wrap around Lloyd, and turns them, making him fall onto the ground before flipping back to straighten up as Lloyd jumped back up as Dareth came in, shivering. "It's freezing."
"So they'll never bother to look here." Misako replied.
"Did you get food?" Cirrus asked.
"No, they took everything." Dareth replied.
"So, apart from Cirrus, we have nothing to eat again?" Blake asked.
"Well, there is still this." Dareth gets out to Puffy Potsticker, but it now had dust and string on it. "Mr. Chen's Puffy Potsticker." The sight, and smell, of the mouldy food causes Cirrus to head behind some boxes and throw up. "I was gonna save it for later, but it's yours." He holds it out to Lloyd. "Eat up, Lloyd." Lloyd felt a little reluctant. "You've lost your Elemental Power, but not your appetite."
Lloyd stammers as he takes it. "They're just as hungry as I am." He makes up an excuse to the others. "Especially Cirrus. She's at 6 weeks now."
"Pass." She replied, moving her head up. "You have it." She soon moved her head back down to throw up again.
"Cirrus' right, son." Misako said, acting like she wasn't hungry. "You need your strength."
"And we're here to protect you, remember?" Nya asked.
"I survived days without food before." Geoff said. He also had a stubble.
"I'm not that hungry anyway." Maggie said.
"Yeah, we insist." Blake said.
Lloyd felt confused by their weird behaviour before looking at Dareth, who nods, and soon puts the ruined Puffy Potsticker in his mouth, grossing everyone out, including Cirrus, who had peeked her head up again, only to move it back down to throw up before he swallowed it. "Mmm, puffy." He said, almost feeling the urge to throw it up.
"And, Geoff, they just nabbed your mother." Dareth said to Geoff, frowning as he did so.
"What?" He asked. "How the hell did that happen?"
"A kid spotted her, and called the Ultra Hunt on her."
Geoff sighs. "I told her not to go further into the city. Now I lost another one."
"Geoff, she's only in their custody." Misako said. "We'll find a way to free her."
"I'm just pissed off."
Nya soon clapped her hands. "Break's over." She said, heading to the middle of the container.
"Your turn, Nya." Lloyd soon joins her. They both soon poise before Lloyd tries to kick Nya, but she moves behind him before he quickly moved back to try and elbow her.
"How goes the training for the leader of the Resistance?" Dareth asked as he sits down on a box next to P.I.X.A.L. while Cirrus comes out from behind the boxes, and Blake takes a swig of some water before Lloyd is knocked onto his back.
"Truthfully, not so well." P.I.X.A.L. replied.
"During my turn, he hardly dodged my moves and was a little slow on his counterattacks." Blake said. "Geoff was a little rough on him."
"Lloyd says he doubts he can lead us without what makes him powerful." Geoff said.
"But you, Maggie, Blake and Nya still have powers, doesn't he believe it'll come back?" Dareth asked.
"He wasn't talking about his power." Misako replied.
"He was talking about his friends." Cirrus said before lowering her head while Geoff looked at the armour on his gi. It was light blue, the same colour as his sister's primary colour. "And his girlfriend."
"Ah, man." Dareth muttered. "I miss those Ninja too. It's only been a week since Emperor Garmadon's taken over, and now everything's upside down." He soon prepares to stand up on the box. "If it means anything, I'll protect that little green guy with my life if it comes to that."
"We all would." Misako replied.
Lloyd throws punches at Nya, who moves back. "Sweet moves, Lloyd!" Dareth's compliment distracts Lloyd enough for Nya to kick him back into a support beam, and groaned.
"Start again." Geoff said, unamused.
"Perhaps we should reach out to them other Elemental Masters." P.I.X.A.L. said as Lloyd struggled to get up.
"I mean, seriously, what have they done for Ninjago lately?"
"It has been a while since we saw Skylor." Misako said.
"Not to mention we rescued Karlof and Patrice from the Vermillion Warriors last year." Geoff replied.
"But can we trust them?" Blake asked.
"I'm not sure." Cirrus replied. "How about The Green Light? They're fighting against the Sons of Garmadon."
"They have their own problems to deal with." Geoff said. "We can't meddle in their affairs."
Music soon played on the small TV as they all turn to it. "Turn it up." Lloyd said.
Cirrus turns it up for them to hear and see Navis being forced into the back of a vandalised police car before Ultra Violet chuckles. "Looks like another one bites the dust." She said as she came into view. "Who will be next? The leader of The Green Light? Whoever he is. Ultra Hunt!"
Lloyd soon looked away. "Turn it off." Blake said, noticing him before Cirrus did so.
Geoff soon sighed as he turned to his girlfriend. "Maggie's turn." He said as Maggie came up to Lloyd.
"Ninja never quit." She said, holding her hand out to him.
"Again." Lloyd looks at her for a bit before taking it, and is pulled back onto his feet before they poise. Lloyd tries to kick Maggie, who quickly blocks it, and tries to punch her.
