-Hello everyone I hope you are enjoying the course of this story as much as I am, for this chapter there are some changes that I made so i will warn you beforehand
1.- Momo didn't get her recomendation as in the anime
and that's about it, some of the characters may have a personality change, not anything extream but there are some characters that I believe would be better for this story if they were less ummm creepy *stares at Mineta* but that will happen in the future so don't worry

Chapter 2
I woke up by the smell of something burning, so I went to check if everything was ok, and it was Aizawa that had burnt the breakfast
"I was trying to surprise you" he sounded a little sad about the fact, but it was actually really cute that he had tried to do that for me, usually we had salmon onigiris or something that doesn't required that much cooking and now I know why
"hahaha what matters is the effort, thanks dad" even if I was the one that said it I was a little shocked that I had called him dad and I know he was too because he didn't said anything for a while
"Anything for my girl, we need to start to get ready for your exam, you don't want to be late" I could sense from how he spoke that he was smiling, that's a weird thing to spectate and it made me happy, I guess I will call him dad more often because he had become like one to me
"alright I call dibs on the first shower" I said as I started running to the bathroom
"nooooo, you will have all the hot water" that was true I loved hot water in my showers to the point that whenever had to shower after me would only meet cold water but since it's a good day and I really don't want to be late I guess I will leave some for dad ?
The Exam was supposed to start at 9am and by the time we had finished getting ready it was 7:45 am meaning we had plenty of time to get there but I wanted to be one of the first to get there not because I was really into studying but because I wanted to be able to recognize my surroundings better and since the UA was a place I had never been too I wanted to start using my quirk on it as soon as possible so I don't embarrass myself by tripping in front of everyone or something else, we got to the UA gate at 8am we lived pretty close since dad was a teacher there but then again he wouldn't recommend me
*sigh* "I guess this is it right dad? this will define everything" dad only hugged me
"trust in yourself more Jirou, just do what your heart desires and you will be alright" what my heart desires…. I thought it for some minutes before smiling
"I desire to become a hero like you dad" and with that I left my shocked dad and continue my way to the entrance
When I got to the auditorium half an hour later, I took the nearest seat, I was anxious about the test what would they have us do? Will I be able to adapt to the test?
As I was in my thoughts, I didn't notice that someone who was reaching me
"Can I sit here?" it was a delicate voice, with my echolocation active, I knew she was a rather attractive girl with big…. I blushed why would I even care about her breasts
"S-Sure" I was wondering why if the auditorium was kind of empty why would she sit with me
"So, you like being punctual too? My name is Momo Yaoyorozu, what's your name?" she started, but if dad was awkward with conversations you can guess I was too
"M-My name is Jirou Kyouka, nice to meet you" was all I said
"Pleasured to meet you Kyouka-san, are you nervous about the test? Because I am, I couldn't catch sleep last night since I didn't know what they will have us do"
"thank god I was not the only one so nervous" I laughed a little of relief
After that we started to talk about unimportant stuff to distract us from the test, stuff like where we have studied middle school, how was the weather, what music did we like, I was surprised that Yaoyorozu knew a lot of the bands I am into I was not expecting her to be the type to listen to rock, not that you have to have a certain type to listen to music but you get what I mean
We had talked for about half an hour and the auditorium was at full capacity now, I didn't expect less from the most famous school for heroes of course
"Welcome everyone! Are you ready to take the first step to become heroes?!" wow that was a loud voice, everyone responded with a scream
"YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
"my poor ears…. "I said rubbing my ears
"Ok then, let's begin explaining what the exam will be about, everyone of you will be divided in groups of 50 people so we can have more control on what is going on in the exam, every group will have 2 presential evaluators, and everything you do in the field will be recorded so we can have every detail of how do you perform in the exam, for the exam itself you will have to defeat 3 types of robots each type will give you certain points, the type 1 will give you 1 point, the type 2 will give you 2 points and of course the type 3 will give you 3 points, there will be a 4th type of robot but this one will give you nothing but trouble so I would advise you to avoid those, you will have 2 hours to make the most points you can there is no limit to how many points you can make, but I must tell you that only 7 people from each group will enter the hero course so aim for the best and give all you got if you want to be part of the UA" he finished, only 7? 7?! And I must compete against 49 people, oh boy this will be hell
"the acceptance rate is lower than I expected" Momo said, her voice a little worried
"It is, but I believe we can do it" I said trying to sound as confident as I could in fact I was as worried if not more that her, but I felt the need to reassure her I don't really know why
After the small explanation we were divided in our groups, I was glad that I was sent in the same group as Momo, well glad that at least I could talk with someone to let the nerves out but I was concerned because I had to compete with her
I was deep in thought with everything that was going on, how would I be able to know where the robots were, more with that many people running to them, there will be enough sounds to distract me
I must have made a face because I felt a squeeze on my hand, I turned to my hand as if I could actually see Momo's hand over mine and started blushing
"everything will be alright, like you I also believe in us" I could imagine the reassuring smile she was giving me
"thanks" I said separating our hands, I don't know why, maybe it was the fact that she was the first person I had speak with in this exam or that we had talked more than just the exam but I really was looking forward for both of us to get accepted so I could get to know her more
I was about to say something about the exam taking long to start when the doors of our zone opened and a siren let us know that the exam had started, all the people started running towards the door to start defeating the robots as soon as possible so they could have more points, even Momo was far away now but I was still on my spot
"Okay Jirou relax and concentrate, remember all you learn with dad and you will be fine" I said to myself as I started using my Echolocation to determinate which zone was better for me to start, I needed somewhere that was not really packed with people since that could not only interfere with how I could see now but also in battle, after a few seconds I had the perfect spot to start so I started running
Meanwhile in the examination room:
"Yo Erased Head, your girl is taking the exam today right?" All Might asked
"Yes, she is" was all Aizawa answered
"well I hope she gives her plus ultra, there are a lot of good candidates out there, why didn't you recommended her to enter?" All Might said with his typical smile
"Because I want her to see her potential, she is something else Toshinori, I want her to become a better hero than me even better than you and for that there is no easy way" It was not everyday that anyone would use All Might's real name but since they were close friends, he didn't mind that Aizawa had call him by his name
"If you say that I will believe you Erased, I know that even if you try to be gloomy and scary all the time you have a big heart, one that makes right decisions" that was the last thing All Might said before turning his attention to the screens projecting the exam again
Back I the exam:
"It's been about 1 hour and a half and I only have 12 points, at this rate I won't pass, but I guess it was expected if I'm avoiding people because the more people, the more robots "*sigh* what will I do?" As I was talking with myself I sensed many robots approaching where I was and that could only mean 1 thing "oh no" was all I said before I sensed about 25 people running towards the robots, I ran to the robot that was nearest to me and used my amplification to send sound waves at the robot, by the force of the waves it crashed to the nearest building which gave me enough time to attack again concentrating on the frequency of my amplification making it as close as I could aiming for the center of the robot that I could locate with my echolocation
"here I go" I projected my concentrated power as a kind of sound beam, a beam that in a second was able to break the robot and make a hole in it meaning I had scored more points but not enough to pass, when I was about to continue attacking the other robots something huge was getting close to our group, I have never "see" something that big it was making me nervous
As it got to where we were it knocked down parts of a building, I was lucky that none of the rubble hit me since I located them and avoided them
"Run! That the distraction" I heard someone say, the distraction is that big? It doesn't seem like a distraction to be honest with you it felt as if our lives were really in danger now, I was about to run for my life when I heard
"please! Someone help I'm stuck" It was a girl, she was close to the robot but her leg seemed to be trapped in the rubble, no one was bothered with her, I wanted to escape to get more points to pass and make dad proud I really did but I couldn't, I couldn't leave the girl to be injured or worse killed, I was not letting that happen so I ran towards her, while people ran pass me
"Don't move!" I told her as I send my sonic beam to destroy the rubble, she did as I told her and was able to free her leg but the impact of the rubble must have injured her because she was crawling away from the robot, but the robot took the chance to try and get her, now what do I do, I had to save her, I can't let her die not like, not like…
All the emotions were there again all the rage that I was powerless against this gigantic robot, all the worry for the girl, all the sadness since it reminded me of that day, I feel something switch inside me, I started shaking just like that day and as I send a beam towards the robot something else happened this wave was different I could feel it, It was so powerful it knocked me back but I "saw" the wave expand and expand till it hit the robot , It stopped for a second before collapsing thankfully it fell to the side that there were no one because after that explosion of power I was so exhausted I could barely move, after some moments of deep breathing the siren sound again letting us know that the exam had ended.
"I didn't pass huh, I'm sorry dad" I let a single tear roll down my face, but I remember about the girl that had been in trouble, I had to check if she was ok and if she needed help getting out from here, I put all my effort in being able to stand up and walk to her
"a-a-are you okay?" damn even talking was hard right now
"you saved me, thank you so much!" I believe it was the emotion of the moment, but she hugged me as if her life depended on it
"I'm really glad that you are ok, my name is Jirou Kyouka and yours?" I smiled to her, now we were out of danger
"I'm Uraraka Ochaco nice to meet you" she said
"Nice to meet you Uraraka-san, do you need help to move?" I asked her extending my hand to her
"Yes please" she took my hand and I made her lean on me so she could use me as if I was a crutch
We started making our way towards the exit, Ochaco seemed troubled with something as she was shifting her weight, I was having enough trouble moving with her since I was still really exhausted but I couldn't give up there, the girl needed medical attention I had to give the plus ultra as all might would say, suddenly she said
"so, what's your quirk? I have never seen that kind of blast, don't get me wrong it was awesome and really powerful, you don't have to answer if you don't want to, I didn't meant to be noisy I was just curious" she sounded really apologetic
"Oh well it's not that awesome I can just amplify whatever sound my body makes" I answered her it was the truth there were far more better quirks than mine
"Only sound? But it was the electricity that stopped the robot, it was like 2 quirks in one… Are you sure?" I was about to answer when a guy reached us and said
"Are you guys ok? I'm Iiada Tenya let me help you with her" he then carried Ochaco, I took it as a chance to not say anything since I was really confused about what Ochaco had said, electricity? I couldn't make electricity
"she must have imagined it" I said for myself, stress situations can make us imagine things, that was what had happened right?
After that the rest of our walk was in silence, in no time we reached the entrance and Tenya-san took the opportunity I guess that I was outside with other people to start running with Ochaco towards what I believe would be the infirmary
"You are really cool you know?" I distinguish Momo's voice right away
"You think so?" I answered blushing a little
"Yes, the way how you ignored the test to save that girl, You are a real hero Jirou, no matter what the point say" by that I understood she knew I didn't had many points but how would she know we were never close
"thanks, Momo that means a lot" Oh no I had called her Momo without asking her if I could, damn great job Jirou…
"First name basis already huh? I like it, I will see you in class Jirou" and with that she went away, now I would have to go with dad, but I don't want to hear the disappointment in his voice
"*sigh* I guess there nothing else to do" I started making my way towards the entrance of the school
Back in the examination room:
"A hero you got there right Aizawa" All Might started
"she ignored the test that was going on risking her entrance to the school but by doing that she saved a life, you know what that means right?" he continued
"She got all the rescue points, meaning she passed the exam, you did it Jirou, you actually did" Aizawa said as proud tears rolled his face
"But what was that attack at the end, the one that stopped the robot, is she able to do that consciously?" All might ask
"I haven't figured it out yet, she has been able to do it only two times so I don't think she knows, so better not tell her about it yet, it seems like it drains lots of energy from her" Aizawa said pointing to the screen where Jirou was heavy breathing while helping Ochaco
"I understand, I won't say a word if you don't want me to, but now go celebrate with her she did great" All Might finished giving Aizawa his famous thumbs up
"I will go great her at the door, see you All Might" Aizawa said while making his way towards the entrance.
By the time Jirou reached the entrance, Aizawa was there waiting for her with his arms crossed
"sorry dad, I tried to give my best" I was disappointed in myself, my score was probably the lowest I was ready for him to scold me but instead he pet my head and said
"you did great Jirou, I couldn't be prouder of you, now let's go home a have a good meal you deserve it"
I accepted his offer since I was starving but how could he be proud at my performance it didn't made sense I had failed
3 Days passed and even if I was still training, I was sad by the fact that I will not attend my dream school, Dad had pick up the mail from the entrance while we were having breakfast
"this is for you Jirou It's your results" Dad said while giving me the envelope
"I don't want to open it, I know I have failed Dad" I said
"You don't know if you failed Jirou, open it" by the way he said it I knew he was hiding something so I opened the envelop there expecting a letter I couldn't read but instead got a recording with the all Might voice started
"Miss Kyouka Jirou I'm here to tell you your results, as you know the exam consisted in defeating robots to accumulate points, by that you made 15 points leaving you in 30th place of your group" I knew it I hadn't pass, I could feel the tears coming to my eyes but the recording continued
"but what we didn't tell you was the fact that you were there not only to fight but to prove that you could be heroes and by the display of heroism that you performed saving the life of the fellow applicant Uraraka Ochaco that by the way left a mark on her" another recording started in where I could hear Ochaco's voice saying " I don't know if this is against the rules but there is this girl that saved my life, she said her name was Jirou I know she doesn't have many points so I was wondering if I could give her some of mine" I was a little shocked that Ochaco actually volunteered her points but All Might told her "that won't be necessary miss Uraraka you see, we can't let a hero out of the hero course right?" what? The second recorded ended and All Might continued
"By those actions you were awarded with the rescue points of the test, of course we wouldn't ignore real hero actions if we are a hero school so that means that you were accepted to the school congratulations…." he kept talking about how heroism is the best but I couldn´t get pass the fact that I was accepted, I was now officially in UA's Hero course, I could feel the happy tears coming out
This is really the start of the path for my dream
