As we headed towards the rest of the fleet. I saw that it was just my 'squad' and a few scatters. I walked over to the cockpit and knocked on the door. The doors hissed open and there stood one of the pilots saluting me. I saluted back and said "How far until we reach the rest of the fleet pilot?". He answered back in a stern but yet nervous tone. "We are closing in. But how did you even get on that vermin-filled vessel?". I put my hand to my helmet and shook my head. "That is some story for another day.". I told him to go back to his duties but then looked back at the rest in phantom. They were all worn out except for the kig-yar that was with us. It was either very happy or very shooken. I walked over to a wall and just leaned up against it. Trying to take in all that just happened, really trying to remember what happens next.

So we arrive on a cruiser and are let down. As we are in the hangar, I see ship after ship either returning or rushing out to the action. I slightly wandered around for a bit until a minor was running towards me as if he was out of breath. He quickly stood up and was breathing heavily but his breath was regained after 30 seconds or so. I saluted him and vice versa. The minor told me, " Shipmaster, what an honor! I have a message for you. You are wanted on the bridge." I nodded and saluted again and made my way towards the bridge which was weird at first as I was unfamiliar with the layout of a cruiser, but yet familiar at the same time.

I arrived at the bridge and once I entered, everything stopped and focused on me. I just stood there in amazement and fear. Hoping nothing was going to happen but everyone saluted at me and I did the same to them. A small poke was felt near my knees, to which I turned around to see a grunt poking my leg. I looked down and asked. "What is it?". "Come come, I will show you sleeping space and room", it said squeakily. I then followed the grunt. Passerbyers saluted me and I did to them. Along the way there, I took in everything. The lights, the sounds, everything. "Man. What have I done? This is amazing but also...just wow.",I thought. Then I was snapped back to reality when the grunt stopped and I bumped into it by mistake. "Here is your room sir.", stumbling a bit and then walked off. I gazed at it while it walked off to do some other tedious duty. I turned towards the door and looked at two guards. Both were as still as stone and had their weapons at the ready. But there was something surprising about their appearances. They were wearing honor guard armor. I did not expect that and stared blankly at them. They then turned their heads and proceeded to turn around to the wall. Two interfaces formed on the wall and acted like a screen. They typed in some codes and the door hissed open quickly. I turned my gaze to the door as it hisses and started to walk. But they saluted me and bowed. I just kept on walking and as soon as my body was cleared from the doorway. It hissed again and closed. I was to see a good sized room with a bed, an armor stand, a small shelf with some miscellaneous items, and a desk with what looked like a computer.

I took off my helmet and walked over to the bed. Sitting on it with a small thump. The room itself was at a mild humidity and cool. It felt comfortable. I forgot that I was in a sangheili body as I brought my legs up to lay down. So I was a bit startled but then relaxed again. I scooted up to the wall and had my back against it. I decided to run my finger on my left hand through my "mouth". I ran it through my mandibles and it felt strange. I decided to get up and take off my armor as there was an empty armor stand. As I stood up. A rang came through my helmet so I put it back on and I was receiving a transmission. So I opened up the com line and it was one of the guards outside as he asked. "Sir, your new armor is in the armory." I replied back with a thanks. So I put my helmet back on and decided to go to the armory, but I had no clue where it was located. Then I remembered that elites had a heads up display as well like the spartans. Which was really easy since I guess I have done it before and a map appeared in the corner. Even though the language was written sangheili, I understood it. So I just followed where the map showed the armory and I was there.
