Sparkle (me): *giggles*
Sparkle was busy drawing a Picture for her mice friends, she was going to stick it to the box, to symbolise that they had a home now, and they were always going to be part of the family. Sparkle got some glue, and proceeded to put it all over the back of the picture and gently stick it to the box. Her drawing looked nothing like mice, but she would explain to them. What? Just because she had a good singing voice doesn't mean she has good drawing skills. Some 'Mary Sue' She was.
Soon her small mice friends woke up. They both peered at the side of the box, pinky smiling. And Brain with a tiny smile.
"Hi sweeties... did you rest well? "Sparkle asks, they both nodded as she let them out, setting them down and moving the box out of the way. "We rested well thank you, we are all ready for world domination tonight." Brain said. Sparkle giggled. "If you do it in the night-time, how would I know if you've taken over the world or not? "Brain chuckles. "Oh, you'd know." He says with laughter.
Truth be told. Sparkle didn't exactly want to take over the world... She didn't want to destroy the world and make it bad for anyone.. she wanted it to be a safer place for people to live. But she wasn't sure how exactly she was going to tell her mice friends that she didn't want to take over the world, this was certainly going to be hard. Brain especially wouldn't like the fact that she didn't want to take over the world, he would be angry and most likely not want to be part of her family anymore, even in the hours the mice had been sleeping, she well-established them part of the family. She had yet to show the drawing she had made for them, but was a little too concerned about Brain's world domination plans at the moment. So, hesitantly, sparkle was going to ask him what his world domination plans would entail.
"What would your 'World domination plans' entail Brain?" Sparkle asked, once she finally got pinky situated with some drying pencils and pens and some paper. Brain stared at her. "Why would you need to know?" He asked seriously. Sparkle looked down, breaking the eye contact. "It's just... I want to know what you wanna do, that's all... What is your plan for tonight? Are you going to blow up the world? Or, are you going to do something nice, like, I don't know, give food to starving countries?" Sparkle asked, a little too hopeful then she intended to be. Brain stared at her again. "Well, if no one listened to me I would threaten to send the humans into war with us animals! And, I'm going to make sure that our species don't get over ruled by humans! Humans have been using us on childish experiments for too long! It's time we put an end to that! "Brain shouted, very very frustrated. Sparkle gasped.
"You're going to kill the human race? You, a little mouse, are going to kill the human race?! Brain! Are you stupid! I don't want anyone getting hurt! Is pinky okay with this?! Because I certainly am not! I wanted to change the world for the better, not for the worse! If you kill all the humans how are we supposed to develop in society!? How?! Brain, killing the human society is wrong! If you killed everyone, who would be my family? Who would adopt all the children and all the young people that have no families?"
" I know where you're coming from sparkle, but our kind have been abused by scientists... Snowball, my dearest dearest friend joined the side of evil because he wanted to get revenge on the humans... Of course I don't want to kill them... I just want us to be treated better, like you and your disabilities. I never, and I mean never, want to bring harm to anyone, my dear. You should know that... I would never harm any of the humans... Even if they were abusing us."
" I don't think you should start world War 3, we already had World War I and II, we don't need another one."
Brain chuckled, nuzzling her. " don't worry dear, i'll make sure we don't start another war, I promise." Brain promised, as sparkle put him down. Tonight was certainly going to be interesting...
Later that night.
Sparkle was now situated in bed, waiting anxiously for her mice friends to commence the plan.
"So, remind me, what are you doing again?" Sparkle asked, for the billionth time that night. Brain sighed.
"For The last time, we are going to take all of the smart phones around the world, having the citizens of the world being so desperate to get their phones and technology back, but the only way they're going to get it back is by making me ruler of the world." Brain concludes, also for the billionth time that night.
"Okay." Sparkle said uneasily. "I still don't agree with this but okay just please be careful." Sparkle said worryingly, pinky came up to her shoulder, stretching over and nuzzling her. "Don't worry, we'll be careful. Narf!" That made sparkle giggle, reassuring her. "Alright you two, you can go." She said, as they both came up and nuzzled her. "Don't worry, we will come straight back... We'll be back at first light." Brain promised. Sparkle smiled weakly, unable to hide the guilt she felt about letting them go, but she let them go.
When the mice came back.
Brain and pinky came back, sadly not world overlords. They came back to their human, who they loved a lot. Their human was sleeping, Doc McStuffins playing in the background. Pinky was about to shut it off, The other one stopped him. "Pinky!" Brain snapped, trying to keep his voice a whisper as his human owner was still asleep. "Don't turn it off! Leave it on! It'll turn off automatically! Now come, we need to get settled. " Brain ordered, settling in his human owner's arms, gently pulling them around himself as pinky soon followed, squeezing next to Brain, Who nuzzled his human owner, letting her know that they were back and safe. She whimpered, clutching them both a little tighter. "We're here." Brain soothed, nuzzling her gently, carefully climbing over her and reaching her now discarded doll and placing it gently next to him and pinky, as she snuggled it tightly. Brain and pinky smiled, the chubby mouse kissed her forehead from where he was standing by her shoulders before climbing back over into her arms again and drifting off.
The next morning soon arose, The Sun trickling in from her butterfly curtains making a beautiful glow on her face. Brain checked the clock above her bed, making a mental note that the carers would be in soon. Gently beginning to stir his human owner awake, he gave her a good morning snuggle before asking her what she would like to wear and her groggily responding, usually the carers noticed it was her dad put it out instead of her genetically altered mice, so that was a lucky save. Brain awoke his companion, who was crying because he didn't want to be woken up so early, but his friend reminded him that sparkle had school today and they needed to go with her.
Several Doc McStuffins episodes, carer conversations, and rolling over later, sparkle was ready for school. She was wearing a blue jacket, with a blue bow on top of her head, wearing a white T-shirt underneath. She looked adorable. Brain did very well choosing her outfit, after Brain got sparkle him and pinky some breakfast, he set up another Doc McStuffins episode for pinky to watch while him and sparkle talked over her timetable together.
"So, first lesson I have today is... "She trailed off, the mouse next to her guiding her finger to the lesson. "Swimming! Hurray! I love swimming! "She exclaimed. Brain noticed her swimming kit, running over and jumping down to get it, he quickly grabbed the bag pulling it with all his strength over to sparkle. He lifted it up looping it onto the handles of her chair. "Thank you Brain! I appreciate the help! But why are you coming with me? My school won't allow you to come... And then you could get taken away from me... "Brain nuzzled her. "Don't worry, we'll keep out of sight of the teachers... I don't wanna relive any school experience, especially after Elmyra force-fed us rice for like two semesters." Sparkle snuggled him. "Thank you, but I'm sure my friend Leela wouldn't mind meeting you... She likes mice." Sparkle says, mentally going over her timetable again.
8:35 am. Sparkle's father called her, coming up to her room and moving her adjustable table away. "Come on sparkle! The bus will be here soon! "He said. Brain and pinky quickly hid in her jacket, as she followed him to the living room waiting for her bus. 15 minutes later and it was time for the girl, her dad opened the door as she wheeled out, going down the path and rounding the corner, luckily, The gate was open so all she needed to do was head straightforward, she headed down the driveway, turning left and heading straight for the curb. With help from her dad she made it down. "Have a good day sweetie! I'll see you after work tonight! "Sparkle cringed at the thought of her father not being home when he got in. "Morning, Sparkle!" The escort of the bus cheered sickeningly. Who was ever so careful on a Monday? She would love to know. "Morning. "She replied normally, going onto the ramp and waiting for the escort to lift her up. Once she was up she wheeled next to her friend Daniel who shared the bus with her.
The radio was playing quietly in the background as Daniel greeted sparkle. "Morning Dan." She greeted, he turned to her, still playing on his phone. "Morning. "The escort climbed her in and they headed off to school, the radio playing idiotic pop songs, as well as enticing the listeners to think they could win 1 million dollars. Brain did calculation, laughing to himself, while trying to keep it quiet so that none of the other humans suspected that someone else was on the bus. This was their first day at her school, so they could see if they were fully taken care of their human owner.
They arrived at the school, the teachers acting sickeningly towards sparkle, they acted very different ever since her grandfather passed away, they were kinder to her, making sure to give her time out if she needed it. Very weird Brain noticed. Sparkle wheeled into class, Billy and Leela walking over to her, the mice in her jacket could hear the fakeness. But sadly, Billy and Leela were called to do something else, leaving sparkle alone scared and vulnerable.
"Hiya Sparkle!" A voice said. Brain and pinky knew exactly who the voice was! Elmyra! Brain and pinky could feel sparkle start to shake, as tears welled up in her eyes. "Awwe!" Elmyra teased. " do you miss your grandpa? "She got the picture that sparkle always carried around with her of him, ripping into shreds, causing sparkle to cry. The teacher saw this, thankfully scolding the girl and telling her not to rip it up. she wheeled into a faraway corner, where Brain or pinky couldn't be seen. Brain stepped out from her jacket and placed a kiss on her nose. "Shhhh, shhhh, it's alright sparkle... it's alright... The teacher is scolding her now... Okay? Maybe we can get another picture of grampa, and then we can laminate it so she can't rip it anymore, hmm?" Sparkle snuggled Brain gently, The mouse rubbing his nose against hers lovingly. He hugged her back tightly, kissing her forehead. "Remember? There is swimming today." Brain reminded her, giving her forehead another kiss. So Elmyra wasn't inescapable... Great... Brain's thoughts were cut off by the teacher coming over and bending down to her wheelchair height. "She ripped my picture of grampa! "Sparkle sobbed. "I know, I know she did sweetie... and she's cleaning it up and putting it in the bin, okay? Why don't you go and talk with Billy and Leela, hmm? I'm sure they'd like that. "Sparkle nodded, wheeling over to her friends.
Leela was the 1st to pull her best friend into a hug and she cried on her shoulder. "It's okay sparkle..." Leela soothed, still hugging her tightly. Sparkle sniffed, pulling back a little, and opening her blue jacket to reveal her mice friends. Leela scooped them up, looking at them. "Hello little mice... are you taking care of sparkle? "The mice nodded. "Yes we are! "Pinky shrieked
Leela gasped, and sparkle looked down, cringing.
Brain kindly stepped off Leela to bop pinky on the head.
" they can talk? "Billy asked, sparkle nodded. "Yeah, but you can't tell anyone that... Otherwise I'll lose them... "She said with a sad smile. Pinky came back from his head bopping looking apologetic at his human owner. She smiled and kissed his boo-boo. "It's okay pinky, just be careful."
"Troz!" Pinky responded. Sparkle handed her mice over to Leela. " take care of them while I go swimming... It's too hot for them in the pool area... "Sparkle said, looking at her best friend who nodded thoughtfully. "Don't worry, I'll take care of them. "She said with a smile as the teacher called Sparkle because she needed to go swimming now.
After school.
Sparkle got off the school bus, remembering that her dad was at work. So when she wheeled into the living room to say hi to him, she remembered he wasn't there. Brain and pinky came out of hiding nuzzling her affectionately. "Dad's at work today, he won't be back until later..." sparkle said with sadness. Brain hopped down, using his strength to open the brown door that led to her bedroom. Sparkle wasn't okay. Brain and pinky need to talk to her.
