A peek into the past

Sixteen Year Old Lucius's POV

I hate sitting here waiting for the first years to get sorted half the time you already know based on their last names. James Potter going to Gryffindor not a surprise. Snape I mean come on I know a fellow snake when I see one. When I saw Lyric Calderon I knew she would be a Slytherin. I noticed how close she was to Sirius Black and looked very disappointed when he was surprisingly sorted into Gryffindor. Later Slughorn made me her mentor and I saw how cunning she was. Bellatrix had a weird fixation on the poor girl, maybe because she garnered lots of male attention. One day Bellatrix cursed her and the poor girl was purple for two days. Two months later Bellatrix got chocolates from a secret admirer and her little curse forgotten. After she ate a few Lyric showed up and said "I hope you enjoy those and the side effects." before skipping away with Snape and Sirius behind her. Later Bellatrix was covered in boils and sores. I was rather impressed by her willingness to play dirty. "That's why she told me not to eat anything that was a gift to Bella." Narcissa whispered. Later in the year she finally had enough of Bellatrix starting rumors about her and spiked her pumpkin juice with veritaserum and the things Bella said where rather surprising. Rodolphus Lestrange actually took the wrap for that one but made we all knew it was Lyric due to all the secrets she made Bellatrix spill that day. Lyric was definitely full of surprises. Lyric and her family were invited to my family's Yule Ball and well Lyric was basically being dragged around by Black and Potter as their date. Later I corner as she comes out of the bathroom. "Lyric my parents are hosting the party and you haven't danced with me yet." I with a big smile. "Well Lucius I didn't know you wanted to dance with me." Lyric says before I pull her onto the dance floor. During our dance I see Black getting angry at me as I twirl Lyric around and I know I shouldn't but I am enjoying having Lyric so close. Once we are done I can see Narcissa looking pissed and Bella looking murderous. I spend the rest of winter break writing her and I also look out for her when we return to school. We had a very friendly relationship and it was never meant to be more. When the year ended I knew it was going to be more. The next year I was a prefect and I saw how she had Potter and Black on a string even Snape couldn't pull away from her unless Evans called for him. I hated that Lyric was so much younger.

Thirteen year old Lyric's POV

The train ride this year is so different since James and Sirius decided to ditch me for spending too much time with Lucius even tho he won't be around this year. When we get to school Sev notices how much I miss the older boy and hugs me before he starts to follow Lily around. The next morning I wasn't expecting anything but a small box of chocolates landed in front of me and I recognized it as the Malfoy owl that dropped it in front of me. I blush as Sev noticed it too. Later Sirius and James cornered and questioned me while Remus tried to make them stop. "Potter leave her alone she can get gifts from an older wizard. I think it's cute." Lily Evans says as she pulls me away from them. After that I could see why Sev was so into the lion that she was. Lucius sent me many gifts over the school year and we danced again at his family's Yule Ball as my parents thought a marriage would be a good idea but not the same one I had in mind.

Sixteen year old Lyric's POV

I follow Sev after what Sirius told him where to go and I warned him but he never listens. I get there in time to see James save him. Later Lily and I find Sirius and she stops me from hexing him after I punch him the face. The detentions I got were worth the shock on his face. Dumbledore wasn't happy with me because I hit one of those precious lions and my fiance no less. My parents closed the marriage contract after they found out he had been disowned. Later I went to see Lucius and he took my virginity in the room of requirement. He then told me of how he had to marry Narcissa and he loved me but his family forced him into this. I cried in his arms as we cuddled for the last time.

Twenty year old Lyric's POV

I was at my parents as they were out at a party and I just didn't feel like watch Lucius and his pregnant wife together. He planned on leaving her after the baby was born and we could be together. I hear a noise and I grab my wand as I go to check it out and I see the Dark Lord. He casts an Imperious spell on me and I see myself letting him make love to me and my love for Lucius breaks it free and then I cast a couple of curses to get him off me and as I run I trip and he hit me with a stupefy. I lay beneath him as he rapes me for about three hours. Once he leaves I try to pull myself together my house elf helps me. Later I run to Sev and he heals me before Bella shows up and tells me I should be happy and that Lucius would never touch me now that I belonged to the dark lord. Later I knew I had to let go of the promise we made to each other.

Twenty six year old Lucius POV
It's Halloween and I am wondering why Lyric isn't here and why Narcissa is so happy lately. The dark lord has us attack a village. I am so worried about Lyric since I haven't seen her since Draco was born and she hurt herself trying to ride a dragon. Black and Potter seemed so pleased with her acting like an idiot. After we are done I go to her home and her family gave me a letter.

Dear Lucius

I am sorry but the muggle world calls to me. I have decided to move to America and take up a muggle studies job. One day I will return and be with you but as of now I cannot. I will always love you.

I felt myself nearly puke as she chose muggles over me. I felt the first shard of ice grow over my heart and the longer she was gone the more ice grew around my heart.

Twenty two year old Lyric's POV

I meet a handsome muggle and we date for almost a year before he showed true colors and stared to beat me. One day I finally has enough and used magic to tour-ted him to death. I lost my job but I was finally happy.

Few days ago Lyric's POV

I got an owl from Sev telling me what was going on and I decide to go home and take care of the love of my life .
