As the sun was just setting as Humphrey Kate and the pups were eating dinner while everyone else were sitting Stinky couldn't because his butt was Literally glowing Red from the spanking kate gave him. Humphrey took notice this and whispered in Kate's ear "I think you hit him too hard Kate."

Kate looked over at stinky who struggled to bend over and take a bite but his cheeks hurt when he did that Kate only scoffed "Really,cause i think i hadn't hit him hard enough."

After eating humphrey pulled Kate outside to speak to her Runt came along too "Kate earlier today i spoke with Hunter and he told me how the rock struck runt he said he saw two glowing blue eyes glaring straight at him he believes it was The Shademaker."Humphrey explained.

Kate detected the fear and nervousness in Humphrey's voice he really didn't really want to believe it was real but reality set in. "and runt has something to tell you."Humphrey said opening the floor.

Runt stood in front of Kate hesitantly "Mom the reason i acted so strangely today was because at the field trip yesterday i saw it too,i threw a rock into the black cave and it threw it back..."

Runt started shaking a little "..i think it was warning me not to do it again and i planned to listen to it,i tried to tell stinky not to go but he wouldn't listen then he threw the rock into the cave and it threw the rock at my head i think it thought i did it again,Mom i think it's mad at me i think it's coming to get me." Runt whimpered in terror Kate embraced runt "Calm down runt it won't get you we won't let it."

Humphrey expressed doubt about that this is a whole new Ballgame they knew little about shademaker even if it does come knocking how would they know how to defeat it. "Mom Dad I've been having nightmares about it...those eyes...we can't let anyone else go into that forest."runt said with seriousness "Don't worry I'll hold a meeting with everyone to tell them not to go in to the dark forest."

"Yeah the shademaker can have that forest we don't want it."Humphrey said.

Later that night

The night was quiet,filled with stars and the moon but the night also had eyes as the Shadows of their den spawn piercing blue Eyes and those eyes were Staring down and Runt.

The Shademaker has come to the United Tribe Territory.

Shademaker blended to the shadows like he was apart of it in a way. It scowled at runt in the most hatful way as it stepped into the moonlight revealing itself to the sleeping pup.

(Shademaker's appearance is inspired by Mister E Klyntar from the King in Black story but without the tentacles on his back and has Black mist emanating from It's body).

As it loomed over runt It raised a arm which turned into a blade ready to strike down runt but before it could do that Humphrey began to sit up causing Shademaker to transform into black smoke and fly out of the den at an astonishing speed. Humphrey looked around confused as he thought he heard something before laying back down.

The next morning

Kate stood infront of a massive gathering of the Eastern and Western Pack "Alright everyone listen closely I'm here to declare a state of an Emergency,you all know the Legend of the Dark Forest correct?"

The adults know about it but the pups don't

"I don't."a pup said soon other pups chimed in saying they don't Kate forgot to take that to account "Ok To make the Story short and sweet,There is allegedly a Creature living in a place Northwest of here called the Dark Forest that attacks anyone and anything that intrudes on its territory,It's said to be black as night and impervious to arrows and tomahawks."

The pups found that both frightening and interesting but another pup had a different interest "What does impervious mean?"a grey male pup asked "It means it can't be harmed by normal weapons,going off topic sweetheart." Kate said then she looked towards everyone else.

"Like Sacred Geometry The Legend of the Shademaker is very real as my son runt has seen it twice already."Kate said inciting some murmurs among the crowd.

"People listen to my words because this is extremely Serious: Myths aren't Myths like we were lead to believe they exist and can be very dangerous if provoked, Shademaker if you really think about it is Basically just a territorial entity that wants to be left alone so that's what we're going to do we are going to leave it alone by staying out of its forest so now and forever No one in this tribe is to go into the Dark Forest ever again it's for your own safety,that is all." Kate said walking away the crowd then dispersed to continue their business except for Link and Lyle who had mischievous grins on their faces as they went to confront Kate.

"Yo katie."Link said Kate turned around with a fake smile "Well if it isn't my least favorite twins."

"Ha ha,just so you know Kate dispite what you tell we're still going to that dark forest."Lyle said causing kate to frown at him "Why?"

Link grinned "because it'll get on you nerves." Kate clenched her fists completely annoyed that they're treating this as a joke "Look you numbskulls stay away from that Forest,as much as i despise you two you are apart of my tribe so i care for your safety and well being."

Lyle scoffed "That's nice Kate but we can take care of ourselves." Kate growled walking away "i mean it you two stay away." Link and Lyle just grinned watching kate walk away.

Midnight

Link and Lyle were already on their way to the Dark forest carrying weapons because their here on a mission they were going to try and capture Shademaker a fact they choose not to tell Kate.

They believe that not only is the Shademaker is a simple hoax but rather a case of mistaken identity they think shademaker is just a black furred wolf taking advantage of the legend so they were going to expose a potential phony.

Clutching their tomahawk's tightly they walked through the forest keeping an eye out for any surprises. The eerie silence of the forest didn't help with the twins confidence as they were beginning to get freaked out.

"hey link i forgot to ask do we even have a plan?"Lyle asked link realized they didn't think of a plan "uh well...we'll just make it up as we go along."Link said continued to walk after about several minutes they reached the black cave.

"Oof it's even bigger and creepier up close."Lyle said shuttering both brothers walked up to the cave and they noticed how pitch black it was inside even some light from the moon didn't illuminate the cave. "Jeez it's dark in there." Lyle said looking into the cave "go in."link said Lyle looked at his brother like he was crazy "you first!"

While the brothers argued over who would go first unknown to them they were about to have company "You first." "No you first." Link and Lyle stared each other down growling then Link's scowl quickly turned into surprise and fear as he saw who was behind Lyle.

Lyle saw his brother's face and turned around coming face to face with the Shademaker Lyle yelped jumping back in surprise getting into fighting stances.

Shademaker stared at the two brothers as it got ready for a fight.

The brothers studied the entity realizing one thing it didn't look like a black wolf no tail or ears or any caninelike features. "Sure don't look like a wolf,or any natural creature for that matter."link said "changes nothing it's still coming with us!" Lyle charged at Shademaker and swung at it only for the Shademaker to dodged it by doing the matrix shocking Lyle.

"woah what the?!" He swung again and again but the Entity just dodged every single one fed up ly dropped the tomahawk and proceeded to punch shademaker in the chest his fist did go through but it didn't seem to harm it Lyle tried to pull his arm out but it was stuck in shademaker.

Lyle looked at Shademaker in disbelief "What are you?" Shademaker responded by giving him a 1 2 punch then hammered his head by slamming both its hands on the sides of his head shademaker then tossed Lyle into a tree knocking him out.

Link enraged started firing arrows but they passed through Shademaker like he was a ghost tossing away the bow he grabbed the tomahawk and charged at Shademaker who formed a sword and the two started clashing the sounds of weapons clanging filled the air as Shademaker was backed against a tree Link swung again looking to strike him on the head but shademaker dodged and the tomahawk got stuck in the tree "Crap!"Link yelled Shademaker wrapped it's arms around link's waist and did a suplex slamming him on the ground hard.

Shademaker immediately got up but link was a little slower but when he did shademaker very quickly did a powerful hurricane kick launching link straight onto Lyle who was waking up.

Both twins groaned in pain getting up "yep definitely not a wolf."Link said Lyle snarled glared at Shademaker "I will not let this thing defeat us!" Lyle let out a battle cry as he charged at Shademaker only to quickly get closelined. Link charged to but shademaker did a leg sweep and link hit the ground hard.

Shademaker then walked menacingly towards the twins and lifted them by the back of their necks and then smashed their heads together making them yelp in pain then tossed them away.

"oh I'm hurt."link whined Lyle looked up in horror as Shademaker stood over them scowling down at them Lyle knew for a fact that no matter how hard they fought they couldn't win so he decided to do the most sensible think in order to stay alive. "We surrender."he said Shademaker made a oversized fist and brought it down extremely hard on both brothers with a massive crack knocking them both out.
