Time: 8:32 pm(10 hours after lab outbreak)
Location: Hidden Valley National Forest(Restricted Area)
Matthew rushed down the hill. He had to get to the town, he had to try and save them. But he knew he had to get through the forest first. It was a large forest too, with very few paths, but if he found one he knew he could get out.
He found a small trail when he first went in, which confused him. He knew there was not supposed to be any paths this close to the lab. He followed it. As we was walking, he felt something wrong with the new parts of him. The creature's parts were spreading to his unturned parts. He ran, hoping to find someone who could help. He found himself in a clearing, seeing a part of the forest he never knew existed. There were tables and shelves with many various items on them. There was also a stand, and behind it, a hammock tied between two trees with a canopy over it.
"Hello." A voice greeted from somewhere in the clearing. "I will be with you in a moment."
"Please hurry. I need someone to help me now!" Matthew said, a little louder than he wanted.
A bat-like creature, similar to the one before appeared in front of him.
"No need to yell-" It seemed to have recognized Matthew. "Oh, it´s you. How are you doing?"
"What ever this is, it´s spreading." Matthew said worried. "And how do you know me?"
"Hold off with the questions, I need to get something to help you." The creature disappeared for a second before reappearing with needle filled with a pink substance. "Hold still, I need to put this in a human part." It stuck the needle in Matthew's neck.
Matthew could feel the creature's parts retract a little, and even change a little. The stump on his head turned into more of a pointed ear, and his turned foot changed into more of a long paw, while the tail became thinner.
"What did you do?" Matthew asked. "And who are you?"
"My name is Diamond, and I just prevented you from becoming the thing that attacked you."
"So, let me explain. My nemesis Mewtwo was kidnapped by some scientists. They used his DNA and made that thing that attacked you while trying to make pokemon stronger. That thing escaped, and started looking for a perfect host to it, which is where you came in. This thing, liked you. When I went to go find Mewtwo, I ran into you. I manged to scare it off, but it still had a grip on you. Its weakened now, but it will return. I believe that thing could track you, so I changed the DNA inside of you're... other half, in order to conceal you. Instead of Mewtwo's DNA, you now have Mew's DNA. That thing thinks you're dead, so it is now looking for another host while spreading the virus."
"So... what are you?" Matthew asked.
"That, is well a long story. Anyways, I need to preform a quick test on you."
"What kind of test?" Matthew asked.
"It is really simple." Diamond pulled out a stick. One end was dull, while the other end was pointed. "I will poke you with this stick, and you will tell me if you feel it."
Diamond poked the stick on Matthew´s face, neck, body, both arms, and both legs. Matthew could only feel his human skin get poked, as well as the tentacles.
"What's the pointed end for?" Matthew asked.
"This." Diamond stuck the pointed end into Matthew's right leg. It went right through. Matthew gave no expression of pain. Diamond then pulled the stick back. "Well, those are permanent. All of your bones underneath those parts are gone."
"Wait, I have to go. I need to save the citizens of the town." Matthew said.
"Take this." Diamond threw a gun at Matthew. "You're going to need protection. I'll try to help in anyway I can. May our paths meet again."
Time: 3:31 pm(5 hours since lab outbreak)(1 hour before town outbreak)
Location: Town of Fort Hillard(Main St.)
Matthew found himself in an alleyway. He saw cars and people pass by, with no signs of panic or chaos. Then he heard Diamonds voice.
I managed to bring you back an hour before the town´s outbreak. That was all I can manage. Use this time to warn as many as you can, and to get those you love to safety.
Matthew knew where his first stop would be. His home. He stepped out of the alleyway and instantly regretted it. He heard many gasps and received stares from everyone he passed. Some even took pictures. Though, he didn't care. He just had to get home.
Then lights and sirens appeared behind him. He knew what that meant, and hoped that it was someone he knew. He heard a car door close.
"Stop where you are and put you hands... er um... hand and tentacles in the air." A familiar voice said. Matthew did just that. "Now turn around slowly."
Matthew slowly turned around and saw his former partner.
"Thomas? Is that you?"
"What? Wait, Matthew? What the heck happened to you?"
"Long story. Look, something escaped from the lab. It's on it's way here. You need to get your family to safety." Matthew explained.
"What are you talking about? And what are you covered with?" Thomas asked.
"Look at me. Something bad is going to happen. You need to go, Now!"
Matthew saw something click within Thomas, as if he suddenly believed him. He got in the car and sped off. Matthew continued to walk towards his home. Then he felt something hit the back of his head. He looked and saw it was a stone. He then saw the group of men who threw it.
"Freak!" one of the men shouted, throwing another stone. Matthew caught it with one of his side tentacles.
"Don't you know not to mess with people you can't handle." Matthew said, throwing the stone back at the man. It hit him square the the face, causing a bit of blood to appear. The man, followed by his friends, pulled out a knife.
"Don't you know not to mess with people you can't handle." The man said, lunging towards Matthew. Matthew side-stepped the man, causing the man to fall to the ground.
Two more men rushed at Matthew. He pushed one back with his main tentacle, and punched the other in the face. A fourth man snuck up behind Matthew and plunged their knife into Matthew's back. Fortunately the knife hit one of Matthew's changed parts of his back, and the knife, along with some of the man's arm, went right through Matthew's body.
"Ewww, what is that?" the man said, pulling his arm out of Matthew's body. "Ow, that thing got teeth or something inside of him." The man said, pulling out his hand, now covered in a blood like substance, with several cuts on it.
Matthew knew this guy was now infected, but he couldn't kill the guy. Not now. Instead, he pushed the guy into the others, and turned to ran. As he turned, he faced the first man holding a gun to his non-changed face side.
"You're in for it now." the man said. He cocked the gun. Then something blue hit the man, knocking the gun from his hands.
The man got up, revealing scorch marks on his face and clothing. Matthew looked at where the blue thing that hit the man came from, and saw Diamond on top of a building.
"Oh, so this is a pokemon fight now?" The man said. He whistled and a houndoom came to his side. "Sic 'em Inferno."
The houndoom blasted a fire ball at Diamond, but Diamond dodged it. The houndoom then charged at Matthew, and tore off a bit of Matthew's changed leg. The part grew back for Matthew immediately. The houndoom fell to the ground. It's body started changing. It's black fur started to fall off revealing chunks of a meat-like substance similar to Matthew's. The houndoom's eyes turned bloodshot. Teeth started protruding from it's body, and one of it's front legs changed into the meat-like substance. The houndoom's tail turned into a teethed tentacle.
"What the hell did you do to my precious houndoom?" The man asked in terror.
The changed houndoom looked at the man, turned it's head as if it was studying the man. Then it charged at the man, it's body splitting open as it ran, and tackled into him. The man and the infected houndoom started to fuse. The man screamed in pain as his legs merged with the houndoom's. Tentacles came from the split body and wrapped around the man. The man's friends went to go help him, but were thrown back and attacked by the tentacles. The houndoom rubbed it's face into the man's face, the meat-like substance covering more than three-fourths of the man's face. The man's mouth became the houndoom's snout. The man had stopped screaming.
Matthew saw the infected man-houndoom hybrid get up on two legs. It barred it's teeth, snarling. It revealed two tentacles on it's side, each of which grabbed on of the former man's friends who were now trying to run. It took a large bite out of each man, before dropping them and running away down another alleyway. Matthew looked at Diamond, who was now next to him writing something in a notepad.
"What the fuck happened? And what are you doing?" Matthew asked horrified at what he just witnessed.
"One, don't know." Diamond replied. "And two, I'm taking notes so we can prepare and defeat these things. It looks like infected pokemon turn fast, and try to merge itself with a human, just as the mewtwo did to you. But apparently infected people can't merge."
"How do you know that?" Matthew asked.
Diamond simply replied by pointing to the two people who were attacked by the infected. A large tentacle had appeared from their bite wounds, and were trying to shove the unconscious bodies into each other. Above them, some wild bird pokemon flew by.
A large roar came from the distance.
"Oh no." Diamond said. "Your little friend is here."
Time: 4:33 pm(Time of town outbreak)
Location: Town of Fort Hillard(Woodrow st.)
Chaos had broke loose. People were running in the streets, and cars were flying by, most crashing. Diamond had disappeared, leaving Matthew alone. He managed to find another alleyway to hide. He saw more infected pokemon attack and merge with passing humans. He could hear their screams, and cries for help. He could hear gunfire in the distance. That's when he realized he had to get to his family. He stepped out of the alleyway.
He saw that most of the creatures had passed, but a few stayed back, trying to get into nearby buildings. Matthew drew his gun. He didn't know how to kill something like the creatures, but he had an idea. He snuck up to one and put his gun into the creature's head. He waited until the gun was fully submerged before pulling the trigger. The front of the creature's face exploded, leaving a bloody and gooey substance on the window. The meaty mass muffled most of the gunshot sound, but it still attracted the other two creatures. Something flew in front of them, and blew them up. Something then hit Matthew in the back of his non-changed side of his head. He blacked out.
