"Woah! a real flying horse carriage! this is amazing!" said Jade totally amazed.
"And the view from here is breathtaking!" said Ruby looking downward at the beautiful view.
"I remember the first time I flew like this! I felt the same..." Said Sofia in a reminisce.
"Oooo! look over there a huge palace" Said Ruby pointing to a palace painted Ivory white and glistening gold, which was magnificent and magically ornate.
It looked splendid from above!
"Looks like we're at our destination, land down at that palace, please!" Said Sofia to the coach man.
"Ofcourse m'lady" said the coachman in return.
As the coach landed Fredrick was waiting for them to welcome "Greetings your highness, hope you feel comfortable in our glorious kingdom, the king is waiting for you in the throne room." suddenly his eyes darted towards Jade and Ruby.
"I see you've brought some of your friends. Do I know them?" He asked, clearly wanting Sofia to introduce her friends.
"Oh! where are my manners, These are my friends Jade and Ruby" she replied by moving her hand towards the girls.
"Hey!" said Jade "Hiya', and you are?" Asked Ruby.
"I'm Fredrick, the steward of this palace" he said and moved aside so that they could see the palace.
"Perhaps I shall accompany you in" he offered. "Sure!" said Sofia.
The palace from it's interior was much more beautiful than it's exterior. It had high walls and baroque crystal cut chandeliers which were enormously lavish.
Soon they arrived at the throne room which was roaring with it's grandeur and resplendent, especially the throne which was spectacular, made completely with gold and studded with sapphires and emeralds, crystalline deep, large and perfect.
Hugo was walking around here and there completely tensed about ruling for a day!
"Umm...Hugo?" asked Sofia looking at Hugo, perplexed!
"Ah! you arrived! was the journey troublesome? or comfortable or...!" Hugo was about to say something until Sofia hindered him "It was very good" she said flatly. "now can I know why did you become king for a day?" she questioned fully serious!
"Well, my mum and dad are attending a little get together at king Magnus' place so I'm in charge of the whole kingdom!" said Hugo proudly.
"And who are these? Hugo asked looking at Ruby and Jade.
"Well, these are my friends, from the village." Said Sofia.
"Great! now let's start my royal duties, Fredrick!" he called the butler.
"Royal duty no. 1 'Judge the enchanted vegetable harvest' You need to judge which Gardner has the best vegetables" the butler replied.
They soon went to the enchanted vegetable garden and everyone from the village was gathered there. People were cheering and when the king arrived, there were lots of vegetables there and Hugo chose one gardener who had fresh and perfectly delectable.
and the trophy was given to the gardener.
"You've finished your first duty, your highness" said Fredrick.
