Skara and Boscha were walking through the woods. Well, Boscha was walking, Skara was skipping while humming a little tune.

"Skara, if you don't stop humming, I'm going to strangle you with our string." Boscha said.

Skara stops humming and slows her skipping.

"What's up with you? You seem even more irritable than usual." Skara said.

"This stupid soulmate thing. Out of everyone on the Isles, it's Blight and those losers."

Skara looked at her hand. She really hasn't thought that much about her soulmates, especially the one attached to her middle finger. Luz. She has never actually talked to her before and the most they've interacted with each other was in their Bard class. Even then, it was only an hour long and they sat on opposite ends of the classroom. She knew that Willow and Luz were best friends. She knew Amity had a crush on Luz, how Luz didn't realize was beyond her. Amity wasn't exactly, how would she say... subtle. Boscha couldn't stand Luz, that was a certified fact. Skara... was indifferent. She didn't hate the Human, but she hasn't spent enough, or any, time with her in order to see if they could be friends. Although, it seems fate wants them to be together for their whole lives. She... wasn't opposed to the thought.

"Skara! Are you listening?"

Skara looked at Boscha. She was so focused on how little her and her soulmates interacted, she forgot that her other soulmate as with her.

"Can you say that again?" Skara asked.

"I said, do you plan on coming with me or not? I want to check and see how the rebuilding of the Treasure Shack is going."

"Sorry, Boscha, but I have to get home. My parents and I are visiting my grandparents on the other side to the Isles tonight. I have to get ready to go."

Skara walked away from Boscha. She wasn't lying, she really was visiting her grandparents tonight and wasn't going to be back for two days. She kept thinking about her soulmates. Before she knew it, she was at her home. She opened the door and walked in. She instantly saw her mom, sitting on the couch, strumming a harp. Her mom was one of the most beloved musicians on the Boiling Isles, and Skara aspired to be like her. She noticed Skara and smiled.

"Hello, Honey, how was your day?"

"It was... good. Where's dad?"

"He has work, but he should be home before we leave." She looked at Skara, "What's wrong?"

The one thing that makes Skara afraid of her mom, is that she can always tell when Skara was feeling anything other than her usual happy.

"I'm just... confused." Skara said, looking at her hand.

"You're confused about your soulmate, aren't you?"

"Soulmate's, actually." Skara said, "I have four."

"Oh. Well... I better get a grandchild from one of them."

Skara laughed. Her parents could be a little strict, but not nearly as bad as Amity's or Boscha's parents. They try to be supportive of her and overall are good parents.
