Things were pretty calm at the Autobots base which was actually an old extra stable that was at first unused by the family who owned it. Until the alarm went off. "Optimus I am detecting energon," Ambula said.
"Energon we can use a fresh supply," Optimus said.
"What is a energon?" Hannah asked.
"The fuel and life blood that flows within every transformer." Optimus explained.
"I see," Hannah said.
"We also use it to power many things as well and we also use it for ammunition." Ambula explained. "We need to mine it and refine it before the Decepticons do," she explained.
"That sounds like a good idea," Hot shot said.
"So we better hurry," Side swipe said.
"But where is this energon supply?" Angela asked.
"It's apparently on a mountain in a cave." Ambula said. Then pulled up a map.
"I know where that mountain is I can, help you get there, and you must be careful there is a ski lodge on that mountain so there are going to be some humans there," Angela explained.
"Yes Mom and I can cover you," Hannah said.
"Good idea which means we better get moving," Optimus said.
They headed towards the mountain and started to go up it. "This terrain is a little rough," Hot shot said.
"I guess we should have warned you about that sorry guys," Hannah said.
"That is quite alright after all this is your home planet and you do know more about than we do because we are only here because our ship crashed," Drift said.
"We know that and we know you will need help getting your ship repaired and finding all those artifacts and then going back to your home and hopefully finally putting an end to that horrible war of yours," Angela said.
"We can only hope for that Angela," Optimus said. "Until then we will learn about your world and try to be good guests at your ranch and on this planet itself, so don't worry we are going to do our best," he said.
"We have no doubts Optimus," Hannah said.
"I see the cave up a head," Side swipe said.
"Good then let's go," Hot shot said.
"Hang on Hot shot, we must be care full because it is easy to get lost inside a cave." Angela said. Then got out some rounds of rope and tied them together. Then tied it to a rock outside. "There this way we can find our way out," she said. "Now let's go," she said.
They went inside the cave and then the Decepticons appeared. "Megatron," Optimus said.
"Optimus prime this energon is ours for the taking and we will use it and this planets supply for ourselves." Megatron said.
"I can't let you do that Megatron," Optimus said. "Energon is the life fuel and blood of all Transformers we can't let you keep it all to yourself," he said.
"Oh you don't want these humans to come under threat do you?" Megatron asked.
Optimus was concerned about this and didn't know what to do and a fight broke out.
"Be careful you might cause a cave in." Hannah said.
"We got to do something," Angela said. "Sweetheart I think it's time to reveal ourselves to our friends," she said.
"If you say so mom," Hannah said. Then they turned off the technology on their wrists and revealed to bots who attacked the Decepticons and helped get them out of the cave. "Good the energon is unharmed," she said.
"Who are you two?" Optimus asked.
"You know us in another form," the older femme said as they turned on the the technology. Revealing themselves to be Hannah and Angela.
The Autobots gasped. The gathered the Energon and went back to the ranch. "I can hardly believe you guys are Cybertronian?" Hot shot said.
"Yes we are and all are animals are Cybertronian too we just disguised them as earth animals so we wouldn't seem suspicious to the locals. I am Windcutter, and this my daughter Lightburst," Windcutter said.
"Windcutter and Lightburst I knew them in the circle of light where I grew up, Lightburst she was one of my closest friends when I was a child but she and her family moved away," Drift said.
"It's good to see you again Drift, we are sorry we didn't reveal ourselves earlier and or tell you all about this all of you we were just being cautious," Lightburst said.
"It's good to see you too my friend," Drift said.
"So you are the Lightburst Drift told us all about," Slipstream said.
"He said you two used to almost everything together with his other friends." Jetstorm said.
"So Drift how are our other friends?" Lightburst asked.
"Wing, Steelbane, and Axe went to assist in the war and Longsword died sometime after you left." Drift said.
"Poor Longsword, I can hardly believe he is gone," Lightburst said. "He was such a good bot I wish we could've been at his funeral," she said.
"Me too," Windcutter said. "Now we have things to do and get ready for and now we will use this cloaking device to hide the ranch and make it a real base of operations." she said and the whole area was covered and they got work building and expanding and finally it was done and it looked like an old rocky area and there was little to no proof that the ranch was there to begin with.
The animals were now in the Cybertronian forms and acted like them too. Things were pretty calm at the moment to say the least. "Next we will get your ship fixed up so we can head back out soon," Windcutter said.
"Sounds like a plan," Optimus said.
