Hey everyone…I know I haven't been posting a lot lately, been busy with personal stuff. Please enjoy the next chapter.
Danny groaned as he looked around to see Ember, Kitty, Star and Valerie, all passed out drunk with empty cans and bottles littering the floor. Danny sighed as he laid back down and stared up at the ceiling, "Stupid…bastards," closing his eyes, the halfa drifted off into a drunken slumber.
The following morning, the five were working up to the sound of a loud crack filling the air. Sitting up, they looked back to see Clockwork, along with Valerie's father, Star's parents, her younger sister, eight other adults and two children standing behind them. Groaning, the five threw empty bottles at the Master of Time before Ember shouted, "It's too early, pops!" looking at four of the adults, she moaned, "And what are my parents and brother doing here? And who is that woman and kid with him?"
"And my parents and sister? And who's that man and kid with Nancy?" Kitty asked.
"The woman with Amber's brother, Luke, is his wife Kathleen, the child is their daughter Amber, in honor of her aunt," Ember's eyes widened as Clockwork continued, "And Kathrine, your sister is with her husband Mark and their son Carlos," the room fell silent before Clockwork spoke again, "Now…why did you five think it was a good idea to throw bottles at me?"
"You're the one who brought everyone to my house without knocking an-"
"And you kids have been drinking, are hungover, smell like a brewery and look terrible," Star's mother, Luna crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes, "Do one of you mind explaining what the hell happened last night?"
"We…we uh…the thing is, mom, we-"
"It was my idea," the four looked back at Danny as he sighed and shook his head, "Clockwork dropping a bombshell like this on us…finding out that my former friend had a crush on me…getting kicked…I suggested we drink to forget all about yesterday and…my idea,"
"So…let me get this straight," Valerie's father, Damian spoke, stepping closer to the halfa, "You were the one who suggested you kids drink after that ghost right there," he pointed towards Clockwork, "told you that you kids were to either be bonded, have you imprisoned for eternity or turn pure evil?" Danny looked at his mentor as Clockwork smirked at his apprentice, "And to top if off, you find out that your friend had a crush on you and…you got kicked? Where exactly did you ge-"
"Daddy," Valerie frowned as she placed a hand on her father's arm. Taking a deep breath, Valerie shook her head, "Yes…the five of us did drink last night, and Danny did get kicked by Manson…where it counts for a stupid reason and his other friend agreed with Manson and texted him last night…I don't know what he said…Danny?"
Eyes locked on Danny as he sighed and rubbed the back of his head, "You saw the text, Val, I'm not revisiting that hell again," Danny looked at the guests and narrowed his eyes slightly, "Any other questions and does anyone know how to cure a hangover?"
"A prairie oyster…and we do have a few more questions," Ember's mother, Melissa glared at the five and Ember's eyes widened before her mother ushered them into the kitchen.
The five set down their empty glasses and groaned as Kitty's father, Michael, crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes, "You kids feel better?" the five groaned again as they slowly shook their heads, "Too bad…we have questions and you five have the answers,"
They looked up and Star's father, John took a deep breath, "First…what is this bond thing? And how long is it for?"
"Didn't Clockwork explain it to you?" everyone shook their heads and Kitty sighed, "So we don't know what it is, but from the sound of it, it's going to be forever …mainly to keep Danny from turning evil or imprisoned…we all agreed to it to prevent that from happening,"
"And how exactly does this work?" Ember's father James questioned and the five shrugged their shoulders, "What do you mean you don't know?"
"We don't know, dad…it all happened last night, but Clockwork might explain everything once baby pop's parents get home,"
Kitty's mother, Christina took a deep breath as she crossed her arms, "Okay…I have a few questions for Daniel," she looked at Danny and Danny's eyes widened before he looked away, "First, what exactly are you? That ghost said that you were part ghost, but that's impossible. You're either alive or you're dead, so which is it?"
"B-both, actually," Danny looked up to the confused expressions crossing everyone's faces, "I'm what you call a Halfa…half human half ghost,"
"And how did that happen?" Danny frowned as Christina arched a brow, "How did that happen?"
Danny inhaled slowly as he hung his head, "My parents built a Ghost Portal, and when it wouldn't work, they walked upstairs, depressed. My…former friend dared me to go into the portal and I did…after that, I hit the on switch," he paused for a moment before laughing and shaking his head, "Who in the actual hell puts an on button inside of a machine?"
Everyone stared at him before Luna asked, "So…what happened after you turned the portal on?"
"Pain," Danny hissed and everyone except for Clockwork jumped slightly, "It felt like every one of my cells were being ripped apart piece by piece. I don't know how long I screamed for or how long I was unconscious, but when I woke up, my hair was white, and my eyes were green. I screamed in a panic when I heard my mom calling down and without realizing what I was doing…I turned back to my normal self,"
The room fell silent before Christina spoke, "Well…I hope this goes without saying boy, but you better not hurt any of these girls, do you understand me?"
"I'd sooner go through the pain of half dying again than do that…besides, they'll most likely kick my ass for something so stupid," hearing the door open, everyone looked up to see Danny's parents walking into the room.
Spotting Ember, Kitty and Clockwork, Maddie narrowed her eyes as she reached for a weapon and trained on the three ghosts, "Okay you spooks, you have the right to get the hell out of my house an-" before she could finish, Danny stood between his parents, mentor and two bond mates, "Sweetie, get out of the way so your father and I can take care of these ghosts,"
"If you and dad want to get rid of the ghosts, you'll have to get rid of all four of them,"
Maddie and Jack stared at their son before Jack arched a brow and shook his head, "Danny, we know your math skills aren't the best, but there are only three gho-" a ring of white light formed around Danny's waist and the two watched as their son turned into his Phantom form with wide eyes.
Danny stared at his parents and saw the stunned expressions crossing their faces as he sighed and frowned, "Yeah…the ghost boy is actually your son…so…surprise?" the two Fenton parents frowned as they slowly sat down and hung their heads, "Mom? Dad?"
"When…what…how…how did this happen?" Maddie looked up at her son with tears forming behind her eyes, "Why didn't you tell us?"
"Let's capture the ghost boy and rip him apart molecule by molecule! No, let's experiment o him," Danny mocked and his parents frowned, "It um…it happened during the accident with the Fenton Portal. I didn't tell you guys because I didn't know how to,"
"Why didn't you tell us sooner, son? We would've stopped hunting you…hell, we would've made a team the three of us," Jack frowned and rubbed the back of his head, "Don't you trust us?"
"I trust you guys with my life, but how do you tell your parents, who are ghost hunters, that you're a ghost without sounding crazy and without getting experimented on?"
Maddie took a deep breath as she stood up and walked over to her son, pulling him into a comforting embrace, "Ghost or human, you're still our baby boy," Danny heard snickering from behind him and he glanced back, "So…does anyone mind explaining why all these people and ghosts are in our house?" everyone inhaled deeply as they began explaining everything to the two.
Again, I am sorry for the wait here, but it's coming back. Enjoy.
