Flashback

Butch's POV:

It all happened a year ago in Citysville. My brothers and I decided to move out from Townsville to , you know , start something new and leave our life of crime behind us. We eventually enrolled in school . Brick became the nerd one , and Boomer became the popular social one , as for me , I was the bad guy whom everyone was scared of , no one had ever dared to challenge me or even look at me in the eye and if I had to be honest , I enjoyed every single part of it much to Brick's dismay , he was all like.

"When are you going to change ?"

" Do you always have to act like a jerk ? "

" If you don't stop your nonsense then you won't be my brother anytime soon."

Back then , I never listened to him and because of that we fought a lot , Boomer didn't seem to care since he always spent his time with his friends.

One day , after one of my worst fights with Brick , I left to blow off some steam that's when I saw her . She had long brown hair , blue eyes and she was holding a cigarette in her hand , she looked at me and approached me before asking.

" Hey tough guy , what does a handsome guy like you doing here ?"

"Mind your business , will ya ?"

Instead of leaving me , she sat next to me and said.

" My name's Elena .Want a smoke to calm your nerves ?"

I immediatly snatched the cigarette off her hand and put it on my lips.

"So...What's your name ?"

" Butch. "

" Mmm . Nice name you got there . Care to tell me what got you so angry .

" I had a fight with my nerdy brother. "

" Oh man . I hate nerds , they always think they know everything."

" Yeah , no kidding ."

" You know you could do so much better than that brother of yours . After all , the brawn is more important than the brain . Am I right ? "

As I looked at her blue eyes and remembered those words , I realised that I had fallen in love with her.

For the next months , we've been meeting each other , until we officially started dating , everyting was perfect at first , that is until...

"I'm pregnant. " She told me holding a pregnancy test in front of me.

" W-What ??" I asked still not understanding what's going on.

" I said ... I'm pregnant . And It's all your fault."

I remained silent , what was I supposed to say ? The only thought in my mind was the fact I was going to be a dad . I didn't know why but I felt happy as if I was already connected to the child.

" I'm getting rid of it ."

"Excuse me ? "

"Did you expect me to keep this thing inside of me ?! I'm getting rid of it and that's final."

"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT ?! HE'S YOUR CHILD ! YOUR FLESH AND BLOOD !"

"I DON'T CARE ! I DECIDE WHAT I WANT TO DO !"

I grabbed her by her chin and said in a cold tone.

"Listen . You better keep this child and I swear if you ever hurt it , I'll make sure your life will become a nightmare. "

She looked at me angrily , but I could see some fear in her eyes , after what felt like centuries , she finally responded.

"Fine ... But you'll be the one to take xar of it."

"Deal."

After 9 months , I finally held Ben for the first time , he looked so innocent with his green eyes , I tried my best to hold back the tears.

" You better leave Butch. And don't make me see him anytime soon ."

I turned to Elena who was still on the hospital bed , I glared at her with hatred before shoting back.

" We will be fine without you . Besides Ben doesn't need a selfish mother like you ."

And I quickly got out of the hosputal to go home and tell my brothers.

I was hoping they will support me and help me raise Ben , but unfortunatly that wasn't the case.

" YOU WHAT ?! HAVE YOU REALISED WHAT YOU DID YOU IDIOT ?! YOU'RE A DISGRACE ! GO ! GO PACK YOUR STUFF AND LEAVE ! "

Then Brick grabbed me by the collar and whispered.

" And don't ever think of coming back here . AM I CLEAR ?!"

That's how I found my self in the streets with a newborn child. We would sleep in alleyways and steal food to keep ourselves alive . We've been like that for a year , until you came .
