Chapter 2: Inkopolis Plaza, Shopping
5:30 Morning
Asta woke up. He looks at the window and sees the sun is rising. He checks the clock to see what time is it
"I guess I woke up early" Asta said and rubbed his eyes
"Well, I should start training!" Asta gets up and walks outside the house. He usually trains himself like he did back at his home. He does 1000 push-ups, 1000 sit-ups, 1000 m running
6:15 Morning
Marie woke up and tied her hair. She gets up and walks to the kitchen. She saw Callie is making breakfast. Callie turned her head and saw Marie woke up. "Morning Marie. The breakfast will be 10 minutes" Callie said with a smile.
"Morning Callie. What do we have for breakfast ?" Marie asked Callie. "We will have pancakes and bacon" Callie answered.
Marie looked around and said "Hey Callie. Where's Asta?". "I don't know. Maybe he's still asleep" Callie said
"Alright, let me wake him up" Marie leaves the kitchen and goes to Asta's room
"Hey Asta. Wake up. It's time for breakfast" Marie called him but he doesn't respond
Marie comes in and sees there is no one in here. "Huh? Where did he go?" Marie said to herself
Marie closed the door and got back to the kitchen. Callie turned to her and asked "Hey Marie. Where's Asta?"
"I don't know. He's not in his room. I wonder where did he go?" Marie replied back
"Hey there, Sorry if I make you worry. I was doing some training" Asta got back with no shirt. His left hand is carrying his shirt. His body is sweating. The girls saw his muscular body and they both blushed at his body. Marie tried to look away and Callie nosebleed for seeing his body.
"Uh. Are you girls okay? Your face is red. Do you feel sick?" Asta asked them in curiosity.
"Uh. Y-Yeah. W-We're fine" Marie looked away but she peeked a little bit. "Y-Yeah! Just what she said! We're totally fine!" Callie told him while wiping her nose
"H-Hey, Asta" Marie called him and he said "What is it, Marie?"
"You need to take a shower. Your body is sweating" Marie suggested. "Right! Sorry about that" Asta gets out of the kitchen and goes to the bathroom
Meanwhile, Asta is taking a shower and Squid Sisters are preparing some food. Asta got out of the shower and they started eating. After that Marie told him that Callie and Her are going to change so he waits in the living room. Squid Sisters go to their room, take a shower and they both get dressed
Callie wore Pilot Goggles on her forehead, Squid Satin Jacket, Chery Kicks. She has her Splat Roller
Marie wore (Green) Jungle Hat, Zappish Satin Jacket, Hunter Hi-Tops. She has her E-liter 3k

Also, Asta wore his dirty clothes, robe and headband
They both get out of their room and Callie said with a smile "Asta! We finished changing. C'mon, Let's go!". Callie dragged Asta by his arm. "Go where?" he asked her
"To the Inkopolis Plaza!" Callie answered. "Inkopolis Plaza?" Asta asked in curiosity
"We'll explain it on the way" Marie said but Asta stopped and said "Wait! Let me pick up those swords outside!"
"Swords? That's what they call them?" Callie asked and he nodded. Asta goes outside the yard and Squid Sisters are looking at him
"Wait! Those things are heavy. I don't think you can carry..." before Marie finished sentences, they both surprised and jaw dropped about what they just saw. Asta carried the large sword without much efforts like a normal inkling carries the Dynamo Roller
"W-What!" They both shocked about him. 'How strong is he?' they both thought
Asta picked them up and turned to them. Asta asked in confusion "What?"
"How can you carry them normally?! Those things are very heavy" Marie asked him. Callie added "Yeah! Two of us can't even carry them! How did you do that?!"
"I don't know. Maybe because I don't have magic" Asta scratched his back head. "Our world doesn't have any magic. Everyone here only thinks magic is just a myth" Marie told him. "Well. Maybe the swords only accepted their wielder" Asta answered
They don't know what to say about this so they let it slide. Marie sighed and said "Let's just get going"
"Wait! Do you have any rope?" Asta asked them
Callie goes inside and gets some ropes for him. Asta tide his large sword and second sword behind his back and the small sword next to his left hip. "Alright. Let's get going!"
They locked the door and now they are walking to the Inkopolis Plaza
"Can you tell me what is Inkopolis Plaza?" Asta asked
"Inkopolis Plaza is a city, where everyone lives. At the far back is Inkopolis Tower, a building which players can enter to access the Regular Battle and Ranked Battle mode" Marie explained to him
"To the left of the main entrance is Booyah Base, a mall in which the player can buy clothes and weapons. The stores in this mall are Ammo Knights, a weapon shop; Cooler Heads, a headgear shop; Jelly Fresh, a clothing shop and Shrimp Kicks, a shoe store. Each shop has a shopkeeper, each one representing a different type of sea creature. They are Sheldon (Ammo Knights), Annie (Cooler Heads), Jelonzo (Jelly Fresh), and Crusty Sean (Shrimp Kicks)" Callie added and she noticed the smoke is coming out of his head. "Um, Asta. Your head" Callie tries not to laugh at her new friend
"Don't worry. I'll be fine" Asta shook his head. "Woah there. Be careful. Try not to think too much" Marie advised him
Time skip to Inkopolis Plaza
"Woah! This City is looking good!" Asta said in amazement
"Beautiful, right? Also, you can watch our studio, it's where we can do broadcast. It on the right of the main entrance" Callie pointed at Squid Sisters' studio on the second floor. "Before we started teaching you. We need to find you some clothes" Marie looked down and up at his dirty clothes
"Hey, Marie. I need the same clothes that I wear. It makes me comfortable in battle. I'll wear those clothes that we bought at home" Asta told her.
"Ok. We will ask the shopkeeper to make them" Marie replied back
They go to Jelly Fresh (a clothing shop). They go inside. The jellyfish named Jelonzo turned to customers and said "Hello there. What can I help you?"
"We here to buy some clothes for this inkling" Marie pointed at Asta
"Sure. You can try to find some fresh clothes here. Choose yourself" Jelonzo told her. Marie dragged Asta to clothes hanger. Marie and Callie are looking for some clothes
"Asta. Here, try these on" Marie handed him some clothes. Asta goes in changing room
" How is it?" Asta wore an Aloha shirt and asked them
"I think no. It looks like you on vacation" Marie disagreed
"How about this ?" Asta wore a Carnivore Tee
"Nah. Looks ugly" Callie commented
5 minutes changing clothes
"How do I look?" Asta wore a Zink Layered LS shirt
"Looks good on you" Marie said and Callie nodded in agreement
"I need some underwear and some new clothes. I also need some of my old clothes" Asta told them
"Alright. Let's ask shopkeeper" Marie said. They go to the cashier and put clothes on the table. "Nice choose" Jelonzo said
"Hey. Can you make the same clothes that wear?" Marie pointed at his dirty clothes. "Sure. Let me write down about his size"
Jelonzo uses measure tape on Asta and checks how big is he. He writes down on notes. "Alright. You will get your clothes tomorrow" Telonzo told Asta. "Thank you Sir!"
"Hey, Asta. Let's go to other shops" Marie called him
They got out Jelly Fresh. They walk in Crusty Kicks and ask Crusty Sean to buy shoes for Asta. Asta tries many shoes out and he got a Gold Hi-Hores for him. They pay for those shoes and ask Crusty Sean to make Asta's old shoes. Next, they go to Cooler Head. Squid Sisters asked Asta what headgear he wanted to buy, but Asta told them that he didn't any new headgears and he told them that he needed a headband and a robe that he wore. Squid Sisters understand and go to the shopkeeper. They ask Asta how much he needed. He told them that he needed two of them. They nodded and asked the shopkeeper to make them. Also, they bought a new squidphone for him. Asta asked them what is that. They told him and explained how to use it
"Ok. We got everything that we need. Now, let's go to Ammo Knights and ask Sheldon to get him a job" Marie told them. They go inside the shop
"Hello, customers. What can I help you?" Sheldon put the weapon on the shelf and turned. He saw Squid Sisters with an inkling boy "Oh, Callie and Marie. How are you girls doing? And who is this inkling boy with you?" Sheldon asked and pointed at Asta
"Well. His name is Asta. He's here for a job, Sheldon" Marie told him
"A job? Why?" Sheldon asked Squid Sisters. Marie sighed and said "We'll explain about him"
Squid Sisters explained everything to Sheldon. They told him about what happened to Asta, how Asta being ended up at their home, and told him that Asta was a human and ended up become an inkling when he got here. Sheldon surprised about this
"I see. I understand. Ok, I'll hire him" Sheldon accepted. "Thanks, Sheldon. Also, can he play Turf War in the afternoon? There are only a few inklings come here in the morning" Marie told him
"Sure. But first, can I see those weapons?" Sheldon pointed at three swords. "Uhh. Sure, try this" Asta takes out the small sword
"Um, Sheldon. I don't think that's a good idea" Marie tried to warn him but It's too late. Sheldon held the sword and felt heavy. Sheldon surprised about this weapon "W-What?! How much ton is this?!". Callie said "That's what I'm saying!"
Sheldon looked at Asta and asked "How can you carry it normally?". "Well, because the swords only accepted their wielder and you can let it go now" Asta replied back. Sheldon lets it go and Asta picks it up
"Hey, Sheldon. Can we use the Training Area? We need to teach him how to play" Marie asked him. "Sure. But first. Here take this" Sheldon gave Asta a Splattershot Jr
"What's this?" Asta looked at Splattershot Jr. " This is a Splattershot Jr. Everyone earned this weapon when they're the first starter" Sheldon explained to him. "Come on Asta. Let's go to the Training Area" They were about to go to the Training Area but Asta stopped them " Wait! I need some scabbards. Hey, can you make three scabbards for these swords?" Asta turned to Sheldon and asked
"Sure. Can you hold it for me? I need to check what size are they" Sheldon told him and Asta nodded. Asta holds the sword for Sheldon and he checks the size of the sword and writes it down
"Alright, you'll start work tomorrow" Sheldon told Asta. "I understand!"
"C'mon! Let's go to the Training Area!" Asta and Squid Sisters go the Training Area
