Specialist and Manipulator (for real this time)

Parasite opened her eyes. Oxygen. This was her first time breathing, and she enjoyed it thoroughly. Her brother entered the room with a towel and wrapped her with it. She didn't like it, but her mother seemed more comfortable wrapping her with a towel.

"Why does she have cat ears?" brother asked.

She looked up at her ears, did her brother not like them? Should she rip them off?

Her sister entered the room.

Brother looked mad, "THE ONE TIME YOU GO OUT-"

"The second." Sister corrected.

Brother ignored her, "MOM GOES 'YOU KNOW WHY NOT GIVE BIRTH NOW?' AND GUESS WHO'S SADDLED WITH THE MOST RESPONSIBILITIES?"

"YOU PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN SADDLED WITH THEM ANYWAYS! WHY WOULD MOM HAVE A 7-YEAR-OLD DO ALL THE JOBS?" Sister yells back.

Parasite was confused. "Hi." she started.

Mom looked at her, "Hello. What's your name?"

"Parasite."

Mom furrowed her brow, "We can call you that at home but not in public places, choose another name."

"Why does she get to choose her name?" William asked.

"Because she can talk and think about the moments she's born."

"I like her ears." Sister commented.

Parasite touched her ears, "Cat. Cat. Catus. Katus. Katu. My name is Katu."

"Alright Parasite. Your name is Parasite/Kato Roshiko." Mitsura said, patting Parasite's head.

"Hey Parasite, tell me who you like the most." Amuno looked at her.

"You."

"Great more favoritism." William groaned, "Dont say stuff like that."

"Ai."

Mom stared, Amuno cocked her head, and William blinked.

"Don't say 'Ai' anymore either."

Parasite smirked, "Ai."

"Looks like you're going to have to deal with the attitude of an hour-year-old too." Sister smiled.

Silva was quite pleased at how quickly and efficient that Illumi had done the job.

"Good, it's nice to know that I can trust you with bigger jobs."

Illumi nodded. He had busted an arm, but that was it, overall he still was pretty pleased with the results as well.

"Try to minimize the self-damage as well." Silva instructed.

"Yeah."

"Did you stand out?" Silva asked.

"I was the only one with a kimono." Illumi stated.

"I'll do something about that." Kikyo said. (Though Illumi had no idea what.)

Wrapping up his arm Illumi proudly left the room. He had an entire free day and checked on Milluki. Milluki was not doing very well.

Once again at night he snuck out.

"My mom gave birth." was the first thing Amuno said.

"Oh. It's good to have a child in May."

"Thanks." she grinned.

"Uh can I show you something."

Looking a little confused, Amuno nodded, Illumi then proceeded to make the plants beside him sharpen and tear through the rock ground.

"OH MY god." Amuno quickly lowered her voice, "How did you do that?"

"Nen." Illumi answered, "I'll tell you about it."

"Sorry could you repeat that?" Amuno asked for like the thirteenth time.

"How about we experiment." he passed her a cup he made with the stones and plucked a leaf from the plants nearby.

"If the water level rises then you're an Enhancer. If the leaf moves you're a manipulator, if the water taste changes you're a transmutor, if there are particles in the water appear then you're a conjurer, if the water color changes you're an emitter, and if anything else happens you're a specialist." Illumi explained.

"How do you know I can use Ren? I can't!"

"You were bursting with Ren when you told me about your sister. Do you see an aura around people?"

"Like glowy stuff but I'm used to it."

"I'll teach you. You'll learn fast."

Illumi decided to drag out the session since it was a special occasion. Finally when they did water divination, it was around 10:45. It was pretty impressive how someone could learn Ren in less than an hour.

Amuno put her hands around the glass. The leaf plunged in the water.

"So you're a munipula-" the water level suddenly shot up, then the water began swirling so fast that it ripped the leaf apart.

"A specialist then." Illumi finished.

"Your face-" Amuno gasped, "when the water went up-" she giggled, "was precious!" she continued laughing, "What are you?"

"Manipulator."

"Thats nice. You know how the leaf moved and the water went up? I think that means I'm stronger on Enhancement and Manipulation."

The next morning Amuno woke up with Parasite curled up on her. Parasite didn't have a room for herself, she was only one day old, but could talk, think, and in a couple hours, she had grown quite a lot. Mom had said that she would get a bed in the spare room they had soon enough but for now Amuno was stuck with a genius day-year-old.

"Hey." Parasite grinned, already looking like a 1 year old. Amuno grinned back.

William rudely interrupted their sisterly moment.

"I've seen a lot of weird animals but you are…"

"Oh."

"SIR YOU SHUT UP RIGHT NOW DO NOT DISRESPECT PARASITE!" Amuno promptly screams at her annoying brother.

Parasite giggled. She had looked so dejected when William had called her out before. If William makes one more mean comment she will be SMACKING him.

Mitsura, who looked so much skinnier enters the room. She ruffles William's hair.

"Hey Mom, pat me on the head too!"

Mitsura smiles fondly at her daughter(s). She patted Amuno's head. Amuno smiled.

"Hey mom what about my room?" Parasite wondered.

"I'll work on it in a second Parasite."

"Okai."

"You really are intent on being annoying are you." William remarked.

"I guess we'll need to repair the window too. You can bandage yourself up can you William?"

"Yes Mom." William sulked, rubbing his head which Amuno had smacked and then they had begun fighting. Neither had won because Mitsura gave them the Stare. The Stare meant 'stop what you are doing right now or I will BEAT YOU'.

Of course 'beat you' was just slang for literally using methods that would kill a normal person on you.

Anyways she thinks she would have won.

Mom left to get a bed for Parasite somehow without contacting everyone, which was sus. Naturally, Amuno followed her.

Mitsura still arrived at Parasite's room before her. When Amuno peeked in, the floorboards were moving and a bed was suddenly there. If Amuno didn't have Illumi tell her about Nen then she would freak out.

"Mom what Nen type are you?"

Mother turned, "Oh I'm a Specialist that has the focus of Manipulation and Conjuration."

"Wow that's really cool! Uh..." Amuno looked down, "Could you teach me some?"

Mitsura laughed like honey, "Of course!"

"Just conjuration though."

"Huh? Why's that?"

"Oh I just have, um, another teacher in mind. What are you doing?" Mom had taken out her cell phone.

"I'm filming the rare moment where my obnoxious daughter is being shy." Mom answered frankly, "Anyways," she added cheerfully, "let's start with conjuration!"

Illumi was pretty impressed by how much Amuno's conjuring skills had increased since their last visit. She was able to go to a certain degree where she was close to conjuring some weapons.

Of course it had been an entire week since they last met. Illumi had been pretty busy with his home training.

"Since you're a specialist, let's just figure out what it's about."

"Isn't it just different? Like maybe I'm 100% on manipulator and enhancer and that's it!" Amuno frowned, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"If you understood the percentages then why did you need me to repeat it for a billion times?"

"Ahh, well it was the types of Nen users that I didn't understand." Amuno clarified ruefully.

"Well we can work on basics like Ten and Zetsu."

"And Hatsu, En, In, Ren, Ko, Gyo, Shu, Men, Jen, Ryu, To."

"You made up three of those."

Amuno laughed, "Did I miss any though?"

"I don't think so."

"Let's start with Ten then?" Amuno declared.

It took a strangely long amount of time to teach Amuno Ten. Partially due to the fact that Amuno had one-shotted Ten, but whenever she needed to move fast, her Aura went out of control. From Illumi's perspective, her Aura seemed to be naturally amplifying wherever her body touches the ground to move.

Old habits die hard, but they still die. At 10:30 Amuno had mastered Ten.
