It had been a few months since Naruto became a citizen of Uzushiogakure, and he started to get used to the new environment that he was in. After the first few weeks of his 'parents' not entering the village, Naruto began to 'lose hope' that his parents would ever come to get him, making Aito give him the beginners sealing guide that all Uzumaki learn to cheer him up. Aito was most surprised when, not even a week later, Naruto had finished the book and all the tests, letting him become an SPL1 or Seal Practitioner Level 1. Aito, knowing that the child was going to be a fuinjutsu genius, even more so than the average Uzumaki, gave him the next 3 books. The look on Naruto's face when he was given the books made the old Kage feel like he was a grandfather that was passing his wisdom and skills to his grandson.
It did not take long at all for Naruto to completely read and take the tests for SPL2, 3, and 4, making him one of the youngest seal practitioners in the entire clan, and he still wanted more. Aito, knowing that sooner or later, more than likely sooner, Naruto would become a seal master, commissioned a Seal Master ear clamp for Naruto to be made. The metal was black with three different shades of sapphire. The gem at the bottom was the sapphire shade peacock, the one in the middle was the shade royal, and the one at the top a twilight sapphire. Aito would give the boy the ear clamp when he managed to get to SML10, which does not seem that far off to the man.
And he was right, within two years of being in Uzushiogakure, Naruto had become the youngest seal master ever from the clan. And not even a few months later, becoming one of the very few SML10 Uzumaki's. Now he was 6 years old, and about to start the Academy, making Aito realize just how fast time was passing him by, so he adopted Naruto, made him his grandson legally. When he was told, Naruto was shocked, the old man that took him in wanted to be his grandfather. But Kurama urged him to agree, saying that the closer that he was to the Kage, the more of a chance that he would be chosen to be the next jinjuriki.
"Jiji… Can you teach me how to do those chain things?" Naruto asked one day making Aito start. "Now, why would you want to learn that? They are very hard to make and control, you have to have a special chakra for them. But, I guess showing you the chance of you being able to do it would be fine." Aito said before showing Naruto how to make the chains. It was a lot different than you would think. For one, you have to turn a single strand of chakra so dense in your body, that it has to exist, making the first chain. Second, you have to feel the chakra around you to make the chains the strongest they could be. It's kinda like setting a fire in a forest or an ice land, each one would need a fire but the ice land would need more fuel. Of course, after a week of trying, Naruto made his first chain, surprising everyone that knew him.
His first few days in the Academy were boring, mostly because while Uzushiogakure started to send kids to the Academy before other villages, it was mostly Seals for the first few years. But Naruto took that time to practice his chakra control, making sure that it was almost perfect, not that he would ever get perfect with being an Uzumaki. But he also looked at different taijutsu styles that he could work with, already knowing that it was a part of the curriculum from his grandfather. So Naruto scavenged the library for anything to do with taijutsu, finding a few that interested him, but not near as many that he could use before he found one style. It didn't say much on the scroll, just that the last person that used it called it Capoeira and the styles to use it.
So Naruto took that style and started to intertwine the Kitsune Claw style that Kurama gave him to make the best taijutsu style for him. It was mostly like a dance with many acrobatic spins and flips but mixed with the Kitsune Claw, added a little bit of fierceness to the dance that made the style deadly and beautiful at the same time. He, of course, showed his grandfather when he turned 8, the time when the Academy wanted them to make their own taijutsu styles, and the old man was so proud of his little adopted grandson. To be able to make a style from almost scratch in just a few years, of course, it is not completed by a long shot, but the style has very little flaws if you know how to use it, and little to no openings because of the complete unpredictableness of the style.
Finally, word went around that Mito was getting too old to be the Jinjuriki of the Kyuubi. And that the council was looking for a replacement in his generation. It was a shock that everyone, even the little kids, knew of Mito being the Jinjuriki of the Kyuubi and having no fear or hatred towards her. It made Naruto feel cheated, but he also knew that the Uzumaki Clan was close, so close in fact that an orphan never stayed an orphan for long since family, friends, neighbors, even strangers to the original family made sure that they got home. The clan was very family-oriented, and if you became family or friends to one Uzumaki, you became friends to all Uzumaki.
When Aito learned of Mito's condition worsening, he quickly made a list of children to be the next host, and on that list were Naruto Uzumaki and Kushina Uzumaki. Naruto actually didn't like his past mother too much, she was loud, rude, and very brash. Almost exactly what he was like when he was younger. But he did get along with her every once in and while, mostly when they were bored in class and only had each other to talk to. When Mito came herself and watched the children, she eliminated the entire list except for Naruto and Kushina, she could tell that they would be powerful, but she didn't know who to put Kyuubi in. She didn't until she saw Naruto fight and saw that his chains could take other people's chakra. So she asked him to take some of her chakra, to see if it could absorb Kyuubi's chakra, and it did.
A few days after the decision, Naruto was the new Jinjuriki of the Kyuubi no Kitsune, making some kids jealous, but also proud that it was the genius of the class that became the jinjuriki. It took a few days of bed rest for the chakra to settle, and for Kurama to absorb the rest of his chakra into himself. He still had a lot of the Yang chakra that he needed to get rid of so Kurama messed with his DNA again and made one of his great-grandparents have the Meiton Kekkei Genkai, allowing him to use it as well. Luckily, it was the Biju in the first place that gave humans Kekkei Genkai. When everyone found out that he had such a rare and unique Kekkei Genkai, they were happy. It meant that they now had a Kekkei Genkai to their clan since the clan that used the Meiton was completely wiped out many years ago.
It was when Naruto was 9 that he was sent to Konoha, he went with Kushina and a few other shinobi to enter their ranks, Kushina came with him because it would be easier for Naruto to have someone he knew. It was at this time that Naruto remembered that 4 of the major villages would destroy Uzushiogakure soon. Luckily, he made copies of all the books in both the civilian library and the shinobi library, even being able to copy some of the forbidden jutsu of the clan before he left. Shadow clones were the best jutsu ever for learning things. Aito, feeling that he would never see Naruto again, had the weapon smith create the best scythe weapon that he could before adding all the seals that he could think of on the blade and chain, making sure that it could be used with his Kekkei Genkai and everything else.
Naruto, who did not expect a gift, was happy that the scythe was so well made and that all the seals on the blade would make sure that it would never break, rust, or even dull. He was also given an entire Uzumaki makeover, to make sure that he would show his Uzumaki roots.
He now had blood red hair to his shoulders with one side of his face covered in a bang while the other has a braid to the back. (A/N: I am bad at explaining, it would be the cover picture(Yes I drew that)) He was wearing the Uzumaki Sealing Master ear cuff on his ear that had the three sapphire gems, showing that he was an SML10. He was also wearing the Uzushiogakure ANBU outfit which consisted of a black skin-tight turtleneck with no sleeves, black shinobi pants that end just past the knees with the ending red. His feet wrapped in bandages and covered with black and red shinobi sandals. He also wore an arm brace on his right arm and a kunai pouch on his right leg.
Naruto, knowing that very soon Uzushiogakure was going to be attacked, spent the last few days with Aito, the man that became his father figure. Unfortunately, it was time for Naruto and the others to leave, they were met with all the love and well wishes of the village. Naruto, who had become more used to the villagers, felt that the loss of the village was going to be hard on him the most, knowing what was going to happen but not being able to do anything. He did manage to get enough shinobi and other people to come with him to Konoha to make a clan there, to make sure that the Uzumaki clan did not end. But that was all that he could do.
On the way to Konoha, all the other Uzumaki's felt that something was wrong, but they could not pinpoint what it was, and since they were closer to Konoha at the time of the feeling, they picked up the pace and ran the rest of the way. It took a week to reach Konoha and when they did, they learned of what happened to their beloved village. The other four great villages attacked the Uzumaki's a few days after they left, killing most and the ones that managed to get away were on their way to Konoha. This made the entire group of Uzumaki's very irritable for the entire week before the refugees managed to get to Konoha.
The entire group was waiting at the gate, waiting for them to arrive when one of the Jounin saw them. There were only ten or so that made it away from the massacre, and none of them was Aito. But one of the Jounin that was with the refugees had Aito's battle kimono, giving it to the crying Naruto and confirming his greatest fear. That Aito and the rest of the village were killed and destroyed, and that Aito's final wish was for Naruto to wear his battle kimono with pride, knowing that he was the grandson of the Uzukage of Uzushiogakure. Naruto promised himself that he would grant the old Kage's wish and he slipped on the red and bronze kimono, tying it with the orange sash.
