(Homeworld)
Purple Diamond was brought before her knees, in front of White Diamond.
"Oh Purple. Always trying to take over my spot, when you were perfectly fine where you were." White Diamond said.
"You won't get far. I have powerful friends! They'll storm this place, and then you'll be sorry!" Purple Diamond said, struggling to break free from her laser-tech cuffs behind her, keeping her wrists locked.
White Diamond laughed at her.
"Oh Purple! Can't you see? No one is coming for you. And since you plotted to take over as ruler of this planet, I have no choice but to do this." White Diamond said, before focusing her gaze on her.
White energy shot from her eyes, and struck the helpless diamond.
Purple Diamond fell forward, unable to contain herself. Her skin started to fade into gray.
"You are to serve me. That is your purpose now." White Diamond said.
"I am to serve you. That is my purpose now." Purple Diamond said, in her voice.
"Good." White Diamond said.
(Earth ; Crystal Temple) - 6/2/2017
"It's true. Mom is Pink Diamond." Steven said, having come out of Pearl's head to retrieve her phone. He had went through different memories of Pearl's past, and had seen Pink Diamond for himself, though he was told by Purple Diamond that it was true.
"Wha-wha whaaaaaaat?!" Amethyst said.
Steven looked over at Garnet, and Amethyst, who had a shocked expression. Who wouldn't be surprised to find out their rebellious leader was actually the diamond they had been fighting, huh?
"Yeah. She is Pink Diamond. My mom is Pink Diamond. I kinda knew that before." Steven said.
"But how? Who told you?" Pearl asked.
"It was Purple Diamond. She came to me a while ago, we met up at the pizza place, and she told me the truth about her. I couldn't believe it at first, but then I saw it for myself." Steven said.
"Wait, so you mean Purple Diamond knows?! Oh stars." Pearl passed out.
(THUD!)
"Pearl!" Steven, and Amethyst said at the same time.
Garnet trembled.
"Rose... Rose!... " She said, holding her biceps together as if she couldn't contain her form.
"Garnet, she and Jarek were telling me that this was gonna happen! Try to stay calm!" Steven said.
"Wait, Jarek knows too? OMG." Amethyst said, shaking her head while facepalming.
Garnet unfused, with a distraught Sapphire, and a concerned Ruby, who just as distraught, but keeping it together.
"SHE LIED TO US!" Sapphire said.
"Sapphire!" Ruby said.
"She lied to about everything! She held our hands, looked at us right in the eyes, and told us never to question who we are as Garnet. We never questioned ourselves, or her!" Sapphire continued. Her floor was freezing around due to her anger rising.
"We couldn't have known!" Ruby tried to reason.
"No! You couldn't have known! That's what I'm for!" Sapphire continued.
"Sapphire, don't be like that.. " Ruby said.
"But I never looked into her. I trusted her... I let her make fools of us all!" Sapphire said as she stomped her way to the warp pad.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you!" Jarek said, who was at the entrance.. alone.
Sapphire looked at him and stopped in her tracks.
"And you! You knew Rose was Pink Diamond all along, and you didn't say anything!" Sapphire said.
"I knew this would happen if I had. And whatever Pink Diamond lied to you about, it was for your own good, I'm sure." Jarek said.
"There's nothing good about lying to others! You of all people should know that!" Sapphire said.
"No, but when you carry the weight of guilt, and the burden of being a bad guy on your shoulders, you won't wanna tell anyone especially those you love." Jarek said.
Sapphire looked down for a minute.
"Understand : it isn't what you think it is. Like me : I'm not the best friend to have, but I know from experience where Pink Diamond is coming from. I too was BAD. Don't know if you knew that." Jarek said.
Sapphire shook her head.
"How can I believe what you're saying when you kept your mouth shut too?" Sapphire said, her fists trembling. The ice around her worsened, and she went into the warp pad, and warped.
Jarek sighed and face palmed.
"(Scoldingly) Way to go, Jarek! You only pushed her away further!" Ruby said, with tears in her eyes.
"No, he was trying to reason with her. We better follow her." Steven said.
Amethyst frowned at Jarek before following Steven.
Steven and Amethyst followed suite through the warp pad.
Pearl groaned as she awoke.
"Ohhhh, what happened?" She said, with her right hand on her forehead.
"Garnet unfused, and now they're split up over what Steven said about Pink Diamond." Jarek said.
"Ohh, I think I passed out? Did I pass out?" She asked, dazed.
"Yes, Pearl. You passed out." Jarek said.
"Where's Steven?" She asked.
"He went with Amethyst to go after Sapphire, through that warp. Sapphire went crazy as soon as you passed out." Jarek said, pointing to the warp pad.
"Oh dear. I have to follow them." She said, getting up and going to it.
So Pearl warped, leaving Jarek alone with Ruby.
Ruby crossed her arms, and looked away from him.
"You don't have to like me, Ruby. But do take in account what I said. I was a bad guy before, and I merely hid THAT from you guys so you wouldn't think I'm out to hurt Steven or y'all or anything." Jarek said.
"If you knew Pink Diamond was here the whole time, inside Steven, when Purple Diamond told him, why didn't you come here and tell us what she said?" Ruby asked.
"It's hard to explain what Purple Diamond's motives are. But she has a habit of doing Dangerous things, things that can put everyone in danger. I met a man who went by Cherri, and his wife. He raised a garden, a small village of Cherry gems. Cherry grown gems, and she went and destroyed them all by accident as she claims. So that one wasn't my fault, she went off and told Steven instead of telling you guys." Jarek said.
Ruby shook her head. The tears in her eyes fell from her cheeks.
"(SNIFF!) What am I gonna do without Sapphire?" She said.
"She'll be back. Just wait here, and see." Jarek said.
Ruby sat on one of the chairs, and pouted.
"Tell me more. What was it you did that was so bad?" She asked.
"(Sigh) I nearly destroyed the entire world once, and then reversed it all to where it didn't happen, and where the people associated with me during that time were erased too." Jarek said.
"I don't get it." She said.
"I reversed time, to where none of it ever happened, so I could live a normal life, while keeping all of THAT a secret, in which that was never gonna work out, now that I've told you and a select others." Jarek said.
Ruby looked at him as if she couldn't take him seriously. Not that she was going to laugh, but like he was pulling her leg, and not in a good way.
Jarek gave her a look that said he wasn't lying.
"I mean it."
Silence passed.
(A/N - Phew! That was a close one. He ain't here to start singing that stupid song. Well, it's a great song, but every time someone says it, he starts singing.)
"Okay. I believe you. But why would you go and do something like that?" Ruby asked.
"Because I was with a group of a very bad people who were trying to make everyone into electronic ghosts, and then kill their real selves, so they could be like their fearless leader. But he's gone too. All of them are gone. I made sure of that. That was the most deceptive act I ever pulled, a madness to end a madness." Jarek said.
Ruby didn't speak. She didn't know whether to believe Jarek or not. But something told her he wasn't lying. He did come all this way to try and stop Sapphire from leaving, by attempting to reason with her, that had to count for something, right?
"I guess you have a point." Ruby said.
"It's not something I'm gonna do again. Believe me, there are worse things than some. Saphhir-sapphire's gonna come back. I know she will." Jarek said.
"I think.. maybe we do need some time apart." Ruby said.
"What?" Jarek said.
"Maybe this is what I need. What we need. Some time to think about this." Ruby said.
"Thinking : yes. But I'm unsure on what you mean. What are you gonna do?" Jarek said.
Ruby grabbed a piece of paper, and began writing with a blue marker.
"What are you gonna do?" Jarek asked, still unsure of her actions.
Ruby stuck her tongue out of her mouth as she wrote, not in the fashion of an insult, but as if she was busy.
As soon as she closed the marker, Jarek grabbed the paper, and read it.
He looked at her with a look of disbelief.
"It's for the best. I'm sorry, Jarek. But I need to do this." She said before walking over to the front door.
"But wait, you can't just leave." Jarek said.
"You don't get to tell me what to do. No one can." She said.
"(Offendedly) Oh! That's not what I mean. Just trust me on this. All you have to do is wait!" Jarek said.
Then she opened the door.
"No, Jarek. I'm going." She said.
He sighed, and looked away.
".. I know you are. Just do me a favor : don't fall over anything, will ya?" Jarek said.
She left without another word.
Jarek plopped down on the couch, feeling mighty depressed.
"Ugh, why did I let her leave? (SARCASTIC) Oh yes, just try and hold her hostage here while Pearl and Steven hopelessly try and get Sapphire back! (normal) I can't believe this." Jarek said. Then his phone rang. He saw that it was Magma calling him.
"Yes, sweetie?" Jarek answered.
"My mom followed me home! What do I do now?" She said.
"UGH! Your mother doesn't know when to quit." Jarek said.
"(Distant) I heard that! Give that phone to me!" Black Diamond said on the other end.
"Hang up." Jarek said.
The phone call ended.
"Ugh. She doesn't quit! Ugh, I can't do this." Jarek said.
His phone rang again.
He answered it.
"WHAT?" He said.
"Tell me what your problem is, I want to talk to you." Black Diamond said.
"NO." Jarek said before hanging up again.
He sighed in frustration.
Then it rang again.
"OH YOU'RE KIDDING ME!" He said, before opening the door, and tossing his phone to the ocean.
"(Right before toss) Wait, don't throw me!" Orange Diamond said.
Then suddenly he felt as if his right hip broke.
"OHH!" He said before collapsing to the floor.
"That's what you get for tossing me. Now go and get me before I break another bone in your body." Orange Diamond said.
"How am I gonna do that with this broken hip?!" Jarek said.
"Figure it out. You're a big, tough guy. Face your consequences for once!" She said.
"Curse you, sunkist!" Jarek said.
"Smelly bob!" She retorted.
"Orange soda!" Jarek said.
"That's literally the same as sunkist." She said.
"Orange cream soda!" Jarek said.
"Smelly bob!" She said again.
"Stinky hat!" Jarek said.
"Smelly bob!" She said AGAIN.
"Stinky hat!" Jarek repeated.
"Okay, now you're pulling an ed edd n eddy on me?!" She said.
"Stinky orange soda cream hat!" Jarek bunched together.
(plankton - oh boy.)
"Okay, what's with you and orange soda all of a sudden?" She said.
"Orange knockoff soda! Stars and stripes orange soda!" Jarek said.
"Okay, STOP. Like NOW." She said.
"Not until you heal my hip." Jarek said.
"No." She said.
"Orange sorbet!" Jarek said.
"I can do this all day, Jarek. You can't win." She said.
Jarek pouted, trying to get her to obey him.
"Okay fine! Gosh!" She said.
Suddenly Jarek felt his right hip form back in place.
"Thanks. Now I'll go and get you." Jarek said.
He went out to the sand, and grabbed the phone. The phone then shot a laser at his forehead, hurting him with a burn.
"AAH!" Jarek screamed like a minion.
Orange Diamond laughed at him.
"That's what you get for acting dimicky, Jarek." She said.
"Ugh, not this again. Look, I gotta go and wait for Pearl to come back." Jarek said.
"They can handle this themselves. You should go talk to Black about what's going on." She said.
"I'm just gonna get bitched at by her. She's obsessive." Jarek said.
"(Sternly) JAREK." She said.
"Okay, fine." Jarek said.
He walked off.
(Rose's Fountain)
Steven, Amethyst appeared through the warp.
"Sapphire's gotta be here." Steven said.
"Uh, duh! Where else would she be?" Amethyst said.
"I don't know." Steven said.
"Still, I can't believe Jarek would keep something like that from us." She said.
"He didn't do it to hurt us. He was scared." Steven said.
"And he acts like he's not scared of anything." Amethyst said.
"He kinda has a big ego." Steven said.
"Yeah, too big." She said.
Just then, Pearl arrived through the warp.
"Oh, there you are!" Pearl said.
"Oh no." Sapphire said to herself, even though she knew she would appear with them. However, she did want them to come to her to talk.
They all saw her there, kneeling to the fountain in sadness. There were ice shards formed around her.
"Sapphire, just stop. There's no need to-" Steven started, but was halted by a blast of ice landing right in front of him.
"No! Everything we were running from, she was right there all along.. using us for her little game! Smiling at us with those knowing eyes.. Making me believe in a better future I couldn't see.. because it wasn't real.. what kind of gem does that?!" Sapphire said.
"Pink Diamond." Steven answered.
"And now here we are, our friends.. shattered!.. and corrupted!.. Of course it was her. She was a diamond this whole time.. What a long road she took.. to torture us all like this." Sapphire said.
"It wasn't like that! You know she didn't want anyone to get hurt." Steven said.
"I don't know that! I clearly.. don't know anything!.. Just like at the arena, Jarek was pretending to be a normal gem, when he was in fact a diamond too! And Black.. how did you know she wasn't white?" Sapphire asked, looking at Pearl.
"Because I saw the gem on her. White Diamond can't mimic like others can." Pearl said.
Steven and Amethyst looked at her.
"Look, you deserve to know everything. I was given to Pink Diamond a few thousand years before she was given the Earth. I was supposed to make her happy, I just.. never could." Pearl said.
(MEMORY) - Pearl & Pink Diamond [PRE-GEM WAR] ; MOON BASE
Pink Diamond was staring at her screen with a bored look on her face.
Pearl was standing beside her, waiting patiently for her diamond to give her a command.
"..." Pink Diamond was staring at the screen.
Pearl smiled at her.
Pink Diamond looked at her.
"Could you imagine running a colony would be this dull?" Pink Diamond asked.
"I could imagine it, if you would like me to, my diamond." Pearl said.
"(Sigh) Show me the status of the Prime Kindergarten." Pink Diamond commanded.
"Yes, my diamond." Pearl said.
A hologram projecting the activity on earth appeared above the panel.
"The first quartz soldiers are due to emerge soon." Pearl said.
"(Excited gasp!) Finally, something exciting!" Pink Diamond said, now excited about the quartzes.
She jumped down in the observation room of the base, while Pearl walked down the stairs.
"Hurry, we've got to see this! Quickly, turn it on!" Pink diamond said.
"Yes, my diamond." Pearl said, activating the orb in the room. The kindergarten was projected through the orb.
"Look at this, Pearl! We're creating life from nothing!" Pink Diamond said.
Through the projection, an amethyst emerged out of a rock, and landed on the earth ground.
"Welcome to earth!" Pink Diamond said proud, and lovingly as if she were welcoming a loved one.
The amethyst walked right through her, like a ghost.
Pink Diamond sighed in sadness.
"(Sad sigh) I wish I could just be there.. " She sad.
"I'll have us warped in the kindergarten at once, my diamond." Pearl said.
"Please?" Pink Diamond said.
"Why of course, my diamond." Pearl said.
...
(Kindergarten)
Pink Diamond, and Pearl appeared through the warp pad.
The amethysts that were there saw her, and gasped.
Then Pink Diamond waved at them, and tripped over a rock, falling off the cliff.
"Uh oh! She's gonna land on us!" Purple Quartz 1 said.
"Not if we catch her!" Jasper said.
Then Pink Diamond landed on FOUR quartzes.
(BOOF!)
(GROANING NOISES)

A/N - Nah, I'm just kidding. I thought that would be funny to put there. No but for real, let's get this rolling.
(MOON BASE)
"I'll have us warped in the kindergarten at once, my diamond." Pearl said.
"W-what?! N-no! If I went down to the kindergarten, I would never hear the end of it from Yellow, and Blue. Oh, but could you imagine? Me, down there, laughing and playing with the amethysts?" Pink Diamond said.
"Of course I can, my diamond." Pearl said before projecting an image from her gemstone, depicting Pink Diamond laughing with the quartz / amethyst gems.
"You look so happy." She added.
"I won't be so happy when Blue, and Yellow find out." Pink Diamond reminded.
"They won't find out." Pearl said.
"How's that?" Pink Diamond asked.
"Because... [Alters projected image] you'll look just like a quartz. You changed your shape for a day!" Pearl concluded.
"That's brilliant, Pearl!" Pink Diamond approved.
"I'm glad I was able to help, my diam-" Pearl said, seeing that Pink Diamond had seemingly disappeared.
"Tee-hee! Down here!" Pink Diamond said, now appearing to be disguised as a Rose Quartz gem.
Pearl blushed at her new appearance.
"Wow." She commented, giggling to herself.
"You like it?" Rose said.
"Yyeah." Pearl said, still blushing.
"Good. Let's go!" Rose said.

[Kindergarten ; Earth]
Rose, and Pearl arrived via the warp pad, and saw the ongoing activity down below them.
"Pearl, look! This is.. incredible! We have to go down there and check it out!" Rose said before taking a step.
The cliff she stepped on broke, and she fell.
"Aaaaah!" She yelled.
Two quartz solders saw her falling, and ran to where they saw her falling to.
"I got her! I got her!" Purple Quartz 1 said.
"We both got her!" Purple Quartz 2 said.
The two caught her successfully, and set her on the ground.
"You need to be more careful." Purple Quartz 1 said.
"Sorry. Hee hee." Rose said.
"Hey! What's going on here?!" Purple Quartz 3 said.
"We were waiting on two amethysts that haven't emerged yet. So we were gonna wait on them." Purple Quartz 2 said.
"They can catch up later, Go go go!" Purple Quartz 3 said.
The amethysts began running, following the leading quartz.
"Hup! Hup! Hup!" Rose chanted, following, until Pearl halted her.
"My diamond? Please? Let's not draw anymore attention to ourselves than we already have." Pearl warned.
"Ugh, you're right. But things were really getting fun." Pink Diamond said, saddened.
"What if, we took some time to explore some of Earth's other features?" Pearl suggested.
"Pearl! You're so smart!" Rose said.
( END OF MEMORY - - PRESENT ; Rose's Fountain )
"So it was all, just so she could get out, and have some fun?" Steven asked.
"Well, that's how it started." Pearl said. She then continued her story.
(MEMORY - Plain fields)
Rose, and Pearl were exploring the earth, starting with some grass plains.
"So.. this.. is earth." Rose said.
"And this is just a small portion of the resources available for making gems on this planet." Pearl said.
"I have to see it all." Rose said.
So the two began exploring earth, through a field of flowers, seeing butterflies flying around, watching fish swimming around in a river, until they saw some humans gathering wood, nearby some trees.
After seeing all this Rose, looked at the ground nearby the Kindergarten, and saw the flowers that were growing on the grass, wilting as the grass started to die out.
Suddenly, the sky became dark with clouds forming.
That's when she came to her realization.
"Is everything alright, my diamond? You seem troubled." Pearl asked, genuinely concerned about her.
"All this life that's been growing wild here on Earth.. none of it will survive my invasion. We're not creating life from nothing. We're taking life, and leaving nothing behind." Rose said, with a tear visible on her left eye.
A distant thunder was heard.
"Forgive me, my diamond. I shouldn't have brought you to such a place." Pearl apologized.
"No. You didn't do anything wrong. I needed to see this." Rose said, reverting back to her real form, Pink Diamond.
The two walked to the warp, in the kindergarten.
Several quartz gems saw the two, but kept their mouths shut as they immediately recognized the two.
"It's Pink Diamond!" Orange amethyst whispered to skinny purple amethyst, who nodded in acknowledgement.
The two warped back to the moon base.

(Moon Base)
Pink Diamond sat back on her chair, not having changed her expression.
She contacted Blue Diamond via the diamond communicator device, which was used for communications on a private channel reserved only for the Great Diamond Authority.
Blue Diamond appeared on a holographic screen.
"Yes, Pink? Is everything okay?" She asked.
"Blue.. we really need to talk." Pink Diamond said.
"About what?" Blue Diamond asked.
"It's about the earth." Pink Diamond said.

( END OF MEMORY - PRESENT ; Rose's Fountain )
"So she did want to protect Earth. She didn't realize what the colony was doing to the planet." Steven said.
"So what?! She suddenly started to care about the Earth? Why did she have to rope us into all this?! Why couldn't she just stop the colonization herself?!" Sapphire said.
"She tried." Pearl said.

( RESUME MEMORY - - MOON BASE )
"You can't be serious." Blue Diamond said.
"I am. I don't want to go through with this colony anymore." Pink Diamond said.
"But Pink, you made a big deal about it for years! You wanted a colony, I gave you one, and now you suddenly don't want it anymore? Why?" Yellow Diamond asked, on a separate screen beside Blue Diamond's screen, who was just as shocked.
"I realized that the colony on earth is killing the life that's growing there. I don't want this anymore." Pink Diamond said.
"No. You have to finish what you started, Pink. Colonies are supposed to take the life off of planets, that's what INVASIONS are." Yellow Diamond said.
"Can we at least preserve some of the life elsewhere?" Pink Diamond said.
"That's not-" Yellow Diamond started.
"Wait, Yellow. (At Pink) What do you mean by that?" Blue Diamond asked.
"I want to save some of the humans from the earth so they won't be killed by the gems there if I you won't shut down the colony." Pink Diamond said.
"(Sigh) Very well. I'll have a station created, to hold them. But this will be the only exception I'm making." Blue Diamond said.
"Thank you." Pink Diamond said, hanging her head.
"Anything else?" Yellow Diamond said.
"No." Pink Diamond said.
Then the transmission ended, shutting down both screens.
...
"When she told the other diamonds she didn't want to go through with the colony, they told her to finish what she started. When she told Blue Diamond she wanted to preserve life on Earth, she created the zoo and threw a handful of humans in. She did everything she could as Pink Diamond. But her status meant nothing to Blue, and Yellow. So she decided to make a stand, as someone they couldn't ignore." Pearl said.
( Cloud Arena - - MEMORY 2 )
"I can sense them. They're close." Purple Aquamarine said.
"Act natural when they arrive." Orange Lepidolite-1 said.
(A/N - The dash-1 will be explained later.. )
There were three rubies, escorting a Sapphire, in defense position, walking to Blue Diamond.
"My diamond." Sapphire said.
"Speak, sapphire." Blue Diamond said.
"I had a vision, of Rose Quartz, and her pearl. They are going to attack, descending from the sky." Sapphire said.
"Good. That will be all." Blue Diamond said.
"Here they come! Follow me!" Purple Aquamarine whispered to Orange Lepidolite-1, and they began sneaking away.
"Blue Diamond, leave this planet! This colony will not be completed!" Rose said, descending down from the sky, with Pearl.
"It's the rebels!" Ruby said.
"Shh!" Ruby 2 shushed.
Rose, and Pearl landed on their feets.
"We are the Crystal Gems!" The two said at the same time.
"Hmph." Blue Diamond said, before activating her palanquin's legs, and evading the scene.
"GET THEM! #$ ^&!" Purple Amethyst 1 said.
"Enough talking gibberish!" Purple Amethyst 2 said, running to the two rebels with her counterpart.
"Hiyah!" Pearl chanted, swinging twice with her sword.
"Huh?" The amethysts said.
(POOF!) x 2
Blue Lace Agate tried to hit Pearl with her whip, but was sliced in half, horizontally.
"OOF!" She said.
(POOF!) x 1
Then 6 more quart gems ran to them.
Rose used her sword, and cut down two while Pearl stabbed 1, and sliced the other three.
(POOF!) x 6
"Run away!" Ruby 3 said, now scared, beginning to flee.
"No! We team up against them!" Ruby 2 said, pulling her back, keeping her from running away.
"YEs, ruby.. " Ruby 3 said.
Then the three rubies fused together.
"Hah!" They said, before running to Rose, preparing to swing at her.
Rose grinned.
(BLACK SCREEN)
(PUNCH!)

(normal screen)
The Ruby fusion unfused, followed by two sword slashes by Pearl.
Ruby fell to the floor, injured.
Then Pearl landed in front of Sapphire, who stood there, expressionless, and calm.
"Thank you, Ruby. You did your best." Sapphire said.
"NO!" Ruby said right as Pearl was about to cut her down.
She dashed into Sapphire, preventing her from being struck. Normally, Ruby have been struck instead, but she was fast enough to avoid just that too.
Pearl missed, and the two were met in a close fashion.
The two gazed into each other's eyes / eye. And they fused together, unknowingly joining bodies together.
"Wha... what?!" Garnet (first fused) said.
The gems there gasped at the event that unfolded before them. They didn't expect to see a fusion in front of them that wasn't of the same gem type. On their Homeworld, that was forbidden. A taboo. NOT ALLOWED under ANY circumstance. To do that was a crime in and out of itself. Yet it happened in front of them.
"What.. what is this?" Garnet said as she examined her body, and then looked at the people around her, who began to frown at this new abomination.
Rose couldn't believe her eyes either.
"Let's go." She whispered to Pearl, and the two jumped up, away from the scene.
(Unknown forest)
"I still can't believe it. Only on earth, don't you think? Only on earth where anything can happen. A fusion of two completely different gems! Can all gems do that?! How have I never heard of this?! I've only heard that it's unheard of! Can you imagine what is must feel li-" Rose said before being interrupted by Pearl lifting her off her feet.
"Fusion... activate!" Pearl said.
Pearl lost her balance, still trying to hold her by her feet, above her figure.
Rose fell on her back, and butt.
"Oh! I thought - if a Ruby, and a Sapphire- but you're a diamond! Forgive me! What am I doing?! I - I need to be replaced immediately!" Pearl ranted.
"No!" Rose said.
"But I've been.. imagining things, even when you haven't asked me to. I imagined that I ran away and met you here on earth, a Rose Quartz. And I'm not yours, but I make you so happy anyway! Isn't that ridiculous?! Tell me to stop!" Pearl said, blushing in embarrassment.
Rose grabbed her by her shoulders.
"Don't ever stop!" Rose said, with stars in her eyes.
The two began to glow, as if they were fusing with one another, but it was interrupted by them realizing what was happening, as they weren't used to doing this.
"This is very not allowed." Pearl said, rubbing her head.
"(Gasp!) That fusion! We never should have left her there with Blue! Who knows what sort of horrible punishment-" Rose was interrupted by a sound in the bush, prompting Pearl to equip her sword in attack position.
The two looked into the bushes, past it, and saw that Garnet had fallen down a hill.
"[Groans] Ohh... [Sees Rose & Pearl] Ah! We didn't mean to fuse! Well, we did this time. We'll unfuse, we, we'll.." Garnet said.
"No, no. Please. I'm glad to see you again." Rose said.

"Before Garnet, Rose was only fighting for the earth. But Garnet changed everything. Rose wanted to fight for her, she wanted to fight for Gems! And maybe she was foolish, and maybe even... selfish! But she was-" Pearl was interrupted.
"-Following us." Sapphire said.
"What?" Pearl asked.
"This whole time, we thought we were following her, but she was following us. How could she not after you swept her off her feet?" Sapphire said.
"W-what? Me?" Pearl said.
"Are you kidding? You took her on this whirlwind tour of Earth, and then she wanted to live here with you forever!" Steven said.
"That's just how I felt when I came here with.. (Gasp!) Ruby! Oh no! We have to get back right away!" Sapphire said, immediately sympathetic and remorseful for her earleir outburst.
"I don't understand.. Pink didn't know, until you showed her. Ugh." Amethyst said to Pearl.
Sapphire ran back to the warp.
"She did her best to protect earth, amethyst. We both did." Pearl said.
"(Sigh) I know. I know." Amethyst said.
