After joining with the members of the Cadet Corps who managed to survive the Titan onslaught, Chaldea starts making a plan to release the remaining survivors, who are now trapped by Titans in the headquarters.

They just hope to make it there in time.

"They're trapped by about 10 Titans on the exterior and we can't know how many of them are inside of it" - Reiner said to the Chaldeans while Reines and Ritsuka worked on a plan.

"How did they got caught inside such an inconvenient place? You have those ODM things, could've just grappled their way out" - said Muramasa, without fully knowing how they worked.

"They can't run forever, we use gas to propel ourselves in the air and if we don't have, there's nothing we can do" - the black haired woman said, having introduced herself as Mikasa to the group - "Besides, not everyone is willing to keep fighting" -

It was true, the Titan attack left many of survivors either with trauma or took away any semblance of morale they had left. If they couldn't get everyone up and fighting, there was no chance they could save the trapped ones.

"By the way Mikasa, that Titan that you said... It was attacking other of its own kind?" - Mash asked, confused about what that strange Titan could be.

"Yes, it saved me from dying. I was about to be eaten and he showed up out of nowhere, killing the Titan that was atacking me and then just left" - Mikasa explained, just as confused as everyone else.

"Interesting, I hope we can get a good look out of that Titan" - said Gray while the rest continued talking.

Meanwhile, Reines and Ritsuka were bussy trying to make a plan that would get everyone to HQ and then out safely, trying their best to keep casualties at a minimum.

"Hey Da Vinci, do you have any information on the Titan they're talking about?" - Ritsuka asked the Rider Servant back at Chaldea.

"We have visuals from the moment it saved Mikasa, look at this" - the moment where the Titan saved Mikasa was shown to both strategist, noting how the creatura appeared a lot more human than the defomed bodied of the others - "So far, there's nothing to tell us why did it decided to go against its own kind instead of the humans. I recomend trying to incapacitate it so we can perform a scan" -

"Copy that, I'll do as I can" -

"Hey senpai, is the plan ready yet?" - Mash asked both Reines and Ritsuka.

"Not yet Mash" - said Reines as she faced the others - "We're trying to minimize the chance of anyone dying, but we haven't been able to come up with something that will guarantee most will arrive to the building. The best option involves about 25 to 30% of the remaining soldiers dying in order to distract the Titans" -

"Hey, how about we use him" - a blond guy named Armin signaled the Titan that was attacking its own kind - "He doesn't seem interested in us, and if he wants to kill Titans maybe we can use that to our advantage" -

"It's kinda weird that you're refering to a Titan as a 'he' but I'm inclined to agree, it could work" - Reines was the first one to join Armin's plan.

"You're crazy, what if that Titan decided to suddenly kill all of us?" - the leader of the Cadet Corps, Jean, entered the conversation.

"If it wanted us dead, it would've alredy attacked, but he doesn't do anything" - Illya quickly replied.

"Besides, it's currently our best bet at getting to HQ without having to sacrifce anyone, we can use that Titan to clear a path while we take down the stragglers. If we want to avoid any more deaths, that Titan is our best option" - Reines decided to remark the importance of the other Titan for the mission.

"Even so..." - Bertram turned to face the soldiers - "Most of them are missing the strength to carry on" -

- "We can't allow that, we need as meny people as we possibly can if we want this to work" - said Muramasa.

Another one of the survivors, Annie, decided to get up.

"I agree with Armin, let's use the Titan" -

"What!?" - Jean replied, shock at the words of Annie.

"We have a pretty good backup on our side, but first we need someone to raise the soldier's morale, think you can do it Jeane?" - Ritsuka asked the Cadet's leader.

"I... I can't do it" - his words surprised the Chaldeans - "I'm not a leader, I watched my men die and did nothing to stop it" -

"Then I'lll do it" - Mikasa said, getting herself up.

Mikasa, trying to act as a leader to the remaining soldiers decided to give a speach to try and motivate them. Despite her remarking how weak they were and pathetic due to abandoning their duties, it seemed to work well enough, as those demoralized decided to join the rest in the dangerous plan.

"I guess some are just natural born leaders" - Ritsuka said as the soldiers prepared their weapons and ODM - "Reines, we're going to need that Titan, I need you and Gray to..." -

"I'll go with her" - Mikasa started her ODM - "There's two Titans keeping the other one's attention, we'll get rid of them soon enough" -

"She's quite the strong willed one, I like her" -

Reines, using her Mystic Code 'Volumen Hydragyrum' and created several blades that cut trough the neck of the first Titan while Mikasa used her natural gift for Titan killing to quickly defeat the second one without much issue.

The Titan howveer didn't seemed to see the ones around the HQ, which was, evidently, putting a dent in their plan.

"I'll handle this" - Ritsuka pointed to the Titan and fired a single Gandr shot at it, drawing its atention towards them - "Hey, they're over there!" -

Despite the supposed nature of the Titans as killing machines, this one seemed to understand Ritsuka, looking at the HQ as he pointed and seeing the Titans before making a run against then.

"The big boy is on route. Everyone, go now!" - the Master screamed to the Cadets and the Servants as they all started heading towards HQ.

It was finally time to save their fellow soldiers and get out of Trost at last.
