Yo, so first of all I want to thank Hitler's mustache (nice name btw) and Tobychevy for the reviews, and don't worry both of you, I have so many ideas already and the only thing stopping me is my imagination right? Also, this'll be the last short chapter that I post and I will be now posting weekly. That being said back to the story.

"Hey, you! Wait for me!" I yell while I sprint to catch up.

He doesn't acknowledge me so I try a shot at my luck: "Subaru! Stop a second!"

The black-haired boy, presumably Subaru, turns back looking confused. He looks exactly like in the anime with what I think is a tracksuit, black hair, brown eyes, and an average body. On his hand, he has a shopping bag with what I suppose are potatoes and instant ramen inside.

"Who me?" He replies "Wait, you're the guy that helped that girl seconds ago, how do you know my name?...OH! You must be the valuable hero that was sent to take me to my destiny!"

The... what?

"Ehm... I'm not really..." I try to speak but he immediately cuts me off.

"Although, I expected someone more... muscular? Tall? But it's alright I don't judge! So... where's the beauty that summoned me? I bet she must be gorgeous right?" He grins and slaps his hands together.

Damn, I forgot a vital part of the plot: he's a moron at the start.

"Listen I..." and once again he doesn't let me speak.

"Oh, what about the castle? Surely whoever summoned me must be of high ranking right? And I'll need some new clothes too and an assistant and..."

"CAN YOU SHUT UP FOR A SECOND?" I finally yell.

My outburst doesn't go unnoticed since I can see most of the people on the road sneaking glances at us.

"Listen follow me for a moment" I grab him by the wrist and take him to a less crowded part of the street where we sit on a bench and I explain to him that he's got the wrong idea.

"Soooo you got isekai'd too? Why didn't you told me from the start!?" Subaru blurts out looking disappointed.

This idiot... is he really gonna be the hero that I saw on the series?

"I was trying but you kept on cutting me off..." I say mildly frustrated.

"Damn now that I think about it you're dressed really different from the other 'people'" he says while scratching his head.

"But that doesn't explain how do you know my name," Subaru asks pointing an accusatory finger at me.

My face drops. I didn't really think this through! What will happen if I tell him everything? No, I can't, things would get complicated and I'd lose my advantage, I have to think fast.

"Well?".

"Uhm... the thing is... I don't really know, I just woke up and I had this name in mind and when I saw you in the street I felt like it was you" I lie.

"AH AH! That must mean that I really am the protagonist of this world!" He says while throwing a punch at the sky.

Oh boy, why am I even here? Couldn't I be isekai'd in like, I don't know "How not to summon a demon lord" for example? At least I could have a super-powerful friend, I muse.

"Come on assistant! We must find the girl that summoned us here!" He says getting up.

"Please don't call me 'assistant' my name is Mat," I say dejectedly.

"Alright, then let's go Mat!".
