Chapter three
Doctor Grace had watched Director Vance leave her office not liking the conversation with him. She needed to make that call to Special Agent Gibbs to forewarn him. This way she will be able to set up the session with him before going back to work.
She pulled out her cell phone instead of using the office phone. And besides, she really didn't think that it will do any good right now with calling. Nevertheless, besides she needed to try telling him just what is on Vance's mind.
She waited for the connection to go through...
Special Agent Gibbs with his cell phone sitting on the table while he and Marcie were talking. He had peaked at the name on the screen. "It's Doctor Confalone, I am going to take this?" he said with Marcie giving him a look that wasn't sitting right with him.
"Doctor Confalone I was going to be calling you to set up an appointment," he exclaimed with continued to look over at Marcie.
"The reason I am calling is to let you know that Director Leon Vance is out to see you fired from NCIS. He was able to tell me that if you screw up one time that he's going as with SECNAV to fire you." she will have to say to him in order to protect him.
"I was able to understand this Doc after the conversation I had with him earlier telling me in a roundabout way. And besides, I have a card up my sleeve just in case he does try it?"
"Meaning the file that was given to you by Trent Kort?" she remembered.
"I have been thinking about it, Doctor Grace. However, the only time is for when I do screw up so to speak on the job. However, I do know better now after spending the last three months on suspension and I don't intend on doing it again."
"Never say never, Leroy Jethro Gibbs! And besides, we can always talk more about it when I see you. When do you want to talk with me about it with needing to get back to work?" she will ask looking at her schedule in front of her.
"How about tomorrow morning at eight o'clock if possible?" Gibbs will ask the question.
"Sure enough Doctor. Now would you like to come to my house instead of the office? I can always have coffee and donuts ready for the session." he said.
"Sure Gibbs I will be there with bells on!" she joked with hearing his chuckle in the background. "See you tomorrow morning." she hangs up the phone having to hear Gibbs chuckle was amazing in itself. Something must be going on with him to be feeling this way? She will no doubt be finding out in the morning.
Gibbs turned to face Marcie after his conversation with the doctor. "Now to you, Marcie. You've detoured me with the original items I like to say to you or do," he said with that damn smirk of his.
"And just what is that Leroy Jethro Gibbs?" she says with seeing Gibbs moving in for the kill with a kiss of all times with the woman.
She wasn't expecting this to come from him. Even though she had developed feelings for him. During the past few months, she tried to hide when it comes to her emotions and feelings after what she had suffered over the years.
She was able to feel the intenseness of the kiss between the both of them. When the kiss broke, she needed to say something before this continued on with the Silver Fox agent. "Let me say Gibbs that I liked to kiss again being I have very strong feelings for you." she cried out with her heart was racing inside her throat.
"As do I Marcie. But this is not an easy thing for me to admit. No matter how far this goes, Marcie. I am just glad that you're in my life." he croaked out with moving in to kiss her again only this time so much stronger...
