Penny wakes up in the middle of the night; she decides to check the time. Suddenly, a thought came into her head. She thought that if she's now a female Bolt, she can be much closer to Bolt in a relationship. Although, she thought to herself that she's not going to be a dog for her whole life, she could only hope. But she could get used to it. After checking the time, Penny wanders to Bolt's bed and snuggles up to him tightly, finally realising that this transformation could mean something else…
In the morning, Penny wakes up alone in the bed; she looks around for Bolt until she finds him trying to get to the dog food.
"Penny, can you help me with this?" he asks, quite frustrated.
"Umm, I'll try" she replied, thinking it will be harder than it used to be. She was right; she could hardly even stand up on two legs. She decided to slide a stool next to the couch, and then she would jump up onto the table from there, sliding the box off the table onto the floor. But she'd make sure the bowl was under there first. She did that and it did work, it was harder than how she used to get it, but it still could be done.
"Thanks, Penny" smiled Bolt, licking Penny on the face. Penny just smiled and continued eating from the bowl. Suddenly, the door swings open. Mindy is there.
"C'mon guys were starting now!" Mindy commands. They just keep eating.
"Grant!" A man appeared behind her, holding Bolt's favourite toy, Mr Carrot. He squeezes it. It lets out a squeak. Penny's ear raises at the sound of its squeak, the transformation also added a few dog instincts to her mind. She runs towards Mr Carrot alongside Bolt who also went for the noise emanating from Mr Carrot. Mindy shuts the caravan's door, they approach the new set prepared for their next episode.
As they were filming the episode, outside, Penny's mum was arguing with Mindy about her daughter being a dog.
"Indeed, but you will get some of the money we earn from this week's episode" said Mindy.
"BUT MY DAUGHTER IS A DOG!" yelled Penny's mum. Penny and Bolt leave the building after the episode was recorded. They were heading for the caravan until they heard Mindy and Penny's mum arguing.
"Hey, cheer up!" "Maybe from this Penny could get even closer to Bolt in a relationship!" Mindy suggested. To this, Bolt and Penny looked at each other, grinning.
"Come on, Bolty!" "Let's go!" Penny said. They ran all the way to the caravan, to finish their breakfast even though it was lunchtime. After that, they decided to pass a ball around the caravan by hitting it to each other with their paws.
"Umm Bolt?" Penny asked.
"Yeah, Penny?" Bolt replied.
"Now that I'm a dog, I feel closer to you in a relationship sort of way and…" Before Penny could finish her sentence, she felt herself press her lips against Bolt's. "I know this is human behaviour but, I feel a sort love connection between you and me. And now that I'm a dog… uh, yeah, you know the rest!" Penny confessed.
"I feel the same way Penny; now let me show you something I learned from those love shows on television, the way humans do it!" Bolt grinned. He does the same thing that she did, but this time with anticipation. They rolled around, kissing. Then a dog type of kiss comes from Penny. She gives a big lick on Bolt's face. Now feeling, much tighter, they lay down on Bolt's bed. Sleeping the rest of the day off…
