It was a nice day outside. The sun was out and there was a warm breeze making its way through the city. Adrien always enjoyed days like these. It felt nice to feel the sun on your skin and have your hair tickled by the breeze.
On days like these, he and his mom would spend the day in the yard. It didn't matter what they did, whether it was just lying on the grass or running around.
The teenager sighed knowing nothing like that would be happening today. He had school today along with Chinese and piano lessons later. He also had to go over to Master Fu's later tonight to bring Slurrpy back and pick up his new kwami to show the modern world too.
"I wonder who I'll be getting next?" he muttered out loud as he finished packing his bag with extra snacks for the Kwamiis. Slurrpy and Plagg were already inside talking but paused when they heard his question.
"So "cousin" who do you think Fu would give him to next?" Plagg asked curiously.
Slurrpy tapped his chin for a minute thinking it over, "Honestly, I think he might get Googly next. Adrien certainly has no art skills. You mentioned an upcoming assignment in art class right?"
Plagg nodded so the other kwami continued. "Your kid is going to need the extra help if he's going to be able to pass that assignment. I don't believe his father would be pleased if his son failed an art assignment."
Plagg shuddered as he thought about how Adrien's old man responded to his son's last few art projects. It had not been pleasant.
Adrien was walking down the stairs ready to go to school when he was surprised by finding his father waiting for him at the door. "Father?"
"Hello, Adrien. Nathalie mentioned that you will be assigned an art project soon. Do you know what it will be?"
"Not yet. I won't know for a few more days. Right now, I've been studying for an upcoming exam in civics. My math teacher also stated that we will be having a review quiz tomorrow."
Gabriel hummed. He was not worried about Adrien's grades in math and social studies. It was the art assignment that he was worried about. "You will let me know when you have the details for your art project, won't you?"
"Yes sir. I also would like permission to have lunch at school today. Marinette needs help practicing for the math quiz tomorrow. Is it okay if I tutor her?"
Gabriel inclined his head. "I'm glad that Ms. Dupain-Cheng is taking her schoolwork seriously. You may assist her at lunch today. Have a good day at school Adrien."
Adrien watched his father leave and smiled a little. It was nice to know his father was taking an interest in his schoolwork, even if it was only due to the fact art was not something he excelled in.
At lunch he found Marinette bent over her math textbook and doing the practice problems as she bit into her sandwich. She looked up when saw him and a relieved expression appeared on her face.
"Finally, I'm saved! I will never understand logic math. I can't afford to get a low score in math class right now. I need at least a 16 to bring my grade up."
"Don't worry, I'll help you get through this," Adrien assured her. He hoped that the next kwami she had to take care of was the math one. Marinette needed all the help she could get.
As they worked through the practice problems, Adrien told his girlfriend about his strange encounter with his father that morning. "It was strange. He's been a bit more involved lately. He's just never offered to help me with a project before."
"Well he is a designer," his girlfriend commented as she erased her previous work and start the problem all over. "He probably excelled at art when he was a student. It's nice he wants to help you when the project gets assigned."
Adrien scoffed a bit upon hearing that. "He just wants to take over the project whenever we get it. Come on, no more distractions. You need to figure out how to solve the third problem properly."
The couple continued to study together until the end of lunch. Marinette let out a sigh of frustration as she stuffed her textbook into her backpack. "I'm praying that Hawkmoth isn't active tonight. I really need to practice the equations a few more times if I'm going to do well."
When Adrien got home from school, he was surprised again by his father waiting for him in the entrance hall. "Hello, Adrien. How was school today?"
"It went well. I'm confident that Marinette will get at least a 16 on the quiz tomorrow."
Gabriel nodded his head. "I have no doubt she will. You're an Agreste after all." He noticed his son flinch at the comment. He wondered what that was about. After all, he had been complimenting his son.
"I have canceled your Chinese and piano lessons for today. I feel today will be more productive if you start learning more about the family business."
Adrien had to stop himself from rubbing his ears. His father wanted to spend time with him today? Sure, it once again had to do with the business, still, he could take what he could get.
"Where should we start father?"
Gabriel told his son to follow him into his office. On Nathalie's desk, were several papers relating to the business. He gestured for his son to take a seat and showed him the paperwork.
"The most important part of any business is learning how to stay on top of the paperwork. Every aspect of the business relies on clear and comprehensive work. If you don't, your business can easily crumble."
The blond boy looked through the stack of papers given to him. At first glance, it was hard to figure out what they were. Looking closer he realized that some were reports, others memos, and a contract.
Gabriel explained the first step in managing paperwork was organizing the files into what type they were, then putting them in order of what was most important. The day of the week also mattered.
"It is best to look over contracts after you read the reports. The reports will indicate how each department is handling the amount of work given to them. When you know they can handle any additional work, you review contracts with suppliers and stores.
Memos are important. They can generally be dealt with last. The only time you should read them first is if there will be a major change in the company. Do you understand Adrien?"
"Yes, Father." It was going to be a long afternoon.
That night Chat Noir dropped by and was given Googly by Ning. She had already given Marinette Flurry earlier in the afternoon. The young hero thanked her and went back home.
Ning closed the door and locked it tight. She then started reinforcing the wards around the building. Her father was surprisingly out for the night. Apparently, he had a date with his old flame and she wasn't going to get in the way of that.
Since Wayzz had gone with him, that left Honorra and the rest of the Academic Circle with her. She was going to need them tonight as she was reading another journal.
"Do you really suspect another Guardian interfered with a kwami's memories?" Honorra chirped.
"It's entirely possible. The Order was full of good and bad people. Sometimes even the nicest person can do something bad because they believe they are acting in the best interests for others."
Hermmy came over and held out the journal with entries for past Turtle wielders. Accepting it, she flipped through the book until she felt a tingle in the back of her neck.
The entries were started in the year 1750 and ended three years later. In what would one day become the country of Gabon, the Guardians had bestowed a young man with the turtle miraculous. He took the name Alabahun, after a trickster turtle in African mythology.
She read the entries over until she came to one marked October 10th, 1770. She started to read out loud to the Kwamiis. "Today was the first time I used the power Hibernation. I had been shot several times by the slave traders during my rescue of the village's children."
"I almost collapsed during the journey back. Once I was sure the children could return home without any trouble, I headed to my secluded dwelling among the brush.
I feel a lot better. Wayzz has warned me of the dangers of using Hibernation too often. I will have to be more careful during my rescues. I hope that I'm able to stop the enslavement of my people."
The Kwamiis started whispering among each other. They were horrified by the fact people were enslaved to this day. Many wielders of the past had either been slaves or had tried to stop the evil practice.
"October 20th, 1770. Today was my greatest challenge yet. The slavers came in high numbers hoping to overwhelm us. They had not thought that Alabahun would be fast enough to come to their aid."
"They forgot that I was a wise and clever trickster. I let them advance closer to their camp. When they arrived, they found all their supplies gone. I then trapped them inside using Shell Guard, giving my people a chance to escape. We're going to have to move farther away if we are to survive."
"October 30th, 1770. Today was the day we moved. It is the start of a long journey. Abandoning our home and pushing through the brush is not an easy thing. Even with the head-start, the slavers will not be far behind.
"I hope that we will be able to avoid predators, both animal, and man. If not, I fear we will be massacred because of our resistance."
She was about to read the next entry when she felt her mind slipping away. Before she could warn the Kwamiis, her body gave out and she blacked out.
Once more she found herself in the past. Her astral body floated in the sky as she looked down at Alabahun as he hurried his people along as fast as he could. It was not easy making their way through the dense forest.
She heard the sounds of a large party crashing through the jungle. Twisting her astral body she saw to her horror that the slavers were nearly upon the group. They had their guns aimed at the backs of several children, ready to shoot them.
Alabahun must have heard them as well. The turtle wielder pushed through the crowd as he turned around to intercept the slavers. He yelled out for everyone to hurry up.
He managed to get to the kids in time. As the first shots were fired, he used his meteor hammer to deflect the bullets. Some of the evil men scattered while others pressed forward. There was no way he could stop them all. His people would soon be overtaken and forced to serve others.
In desperation, he pressed the sequence for Hibernation and jumped in on top of the leader. As the power took hold over Alabahun, it also flowed into the leader and then his men. Very soon, they were all sleeping.
Minutes later Alabahun woke up refreshed. He got to his feet and was ready to fight once more. But the slavers didn't wake up. They kept sleeping. With a little hesitation, he left them behind.
Ning felt something jerk her and her eyes opened. She was surrounded by the Kwamiis. Thankfully, she was still in the bedroom. The only damage appeared to be a few broken decorative candles.
Honorra floated up and pressed her tiny wing/hand against Ning's cheek. "I'm glad that you are yourself again. You didn't cause very much damage this time."
"What was I trying to do?"
Hermmy spoke up and said, she kept grabbing the candles and trying to tape out a sequence on them only for them to break.
Platter added that it appeared she was trying to tap out the sequence of Hibernation backward. The kwami asked why and she explained what her vision was.
"Out of curiosity, what would happen if a wielder tried to force Wayzz's defensive power on another person?"
"I'm not sure, but I don't think it would be good," Swirrly commented. "Wayzz's defensive power is used to restore the wielder to good health. Using it on someone other than the wielder might leave someone else sleeping forever."
"There are stories that sleeping sicknesses might have originated from overuse of Hibernation, but it's not likely that's true."
Ning would have to talk with Wayzz later to confirm what she saw. If Alabahun had used Hibernation against someone, why was there no record of it in the journal?
The next morning, students flocked to their schools ready to do their best. The pressure to succeed in academics was very high at Victor Hugo College. The school was about a mile from the heroes'.
Hawkmoth was paying close attention to that particular school today. It had been a few days since he had released an akuma. Adrien, had unwittingly, given him the perfect idea of what kind of Akuma to make today.
"Math is one of the most challenging classes to achieve success. There must be someone, who like Ms. Dupain-Cheng, is feeling the pressure to pass an important math test."
At College Victor Hugo, four boys gathered in the bathroom. In a few minutes, they had to take a huge math test covering everything they had learned so far this year.
Each of the boys was barely passing the class. So one of them had an idea of how to help them pass it. "Okay, gather around gentlemen. I have the answer to our problems," a guy named Lennox said.
From his jacket pocket, he pulled out a pill case. Inside were four tiny white pills. "I swiped a few of my mom's Ritalin pills. These will help us focus so we can remember everything for the math test."
Two other students cheered quietly. However the third, a young man with short sandy hair and dull blue eyes, named Onfroi Clement, appeared to be skeptical.
"Lennox, are you sure about this? Prescription drugs are pretty hardcore. I don't think we should use them."
Lennox laughed at him. "Are you kidding me? You're the one who wanted a magical solution to pass the test. Here it is!"
"I didn't think it would be drugs! Let's forget the pills and get to class. We can't be late," Onfroi pleaded.
"What a wuss," one of his buddies said as he popped a pill. The other one took his and Lennox was next.
"Come on, Onfroi. You need to get a perfect score to get your grade up. This pill will guarantee success," the boy said pressuring him. The two others joined in and started pressuring the teenager hard.
Onfroi felt he had no choice. He grabbed the last pill and popped it. The others cheered and they all went to class sure they could pass the test now.
Onfroi stared at the test paper in front of him. The teacher was reminding them of the time limit and anyone caught cheating would automatically fail the test.
The teenager picked up the pencil and started the test. He wasn't even to the fifth question when he felt something wrong. He was getting nausea and he could feel throat muscles getting a little tight.
He panicked and began grabbing at his throat trying to find the obstruction. He then started trying to throw up. By this time, the teacher had noticed something was off.
She hurried over to the boy and started performing the Heimlich maneuver. Onfroi felt something moving in his throat and promptly vomited on the desk. The partially dissolved capsule was there to see.
"Mr. Clement, go to the nurse's office to be checked over. You spat out the pill, but you might have a further reaction." The boy nodded and gathered his things.
He was about to leave when his teacher cleared her throat. "You know, I'm going to have to fail you on the test, Mr. Clement. Trying to use prescription pills to help you be hyper-focused is against school policy."
He could tell the teacher was very disappointed in him. She had plucked the have dissolved pill and placed it inside a small pill case she had on hand.
Onfroi took it and shot his friends a dirty look. He should not have let them pressure him into doing something reckless. His anger bubbled up inside him as he walked madly to the nurse's office.
In his lair, Hawkmoth felt the surge of emotion "Yes! A young soul pressured into a dangerous situation is a great target for my use. Akuma, fly away and evilize him!"
The akuma flew as quickly as possible, dodging several birds who tried to grab it to eat. The negative energy coming off the akuma caused the birds to twist away at the last second.
Finally, the akuma made it to the school and slipped through the windows and down the halls. It locked onto the dark emotion and merged with the pill case in Onfroi's hand.
The boy stopped walking as he felt a strange sensation in his mind. He started hearing a voice whispering to him. "Peer Pressure, I am Hawkmoth. Your friends pressured you into a situation that ultimately caused you to fail the test you studied for."
"I can give you the power to pressure others into dangerous and reckless acts for revenge. In exchange, I want Ladybug's and Chat Noir's Miraculouses."
Onfroi smirked and replied, "Time to build up the pressure." The black and purple smoke covered the boy's body. A few seconds later Onfroi had been replaced by Peer Pressure.
His appearance seemed to be inspired by steampunk. His skin was copper-colored, his hair and eyes a dull orange, with a bronze stylized tattoo over his left eye, in the shape of a rotating gear.
He wore a copper-colored vest with a gold colored shirt with a bronze collar and trousers. His shoes were metallic steam-powered skates. On his head was an aviator's helmet. His hands were glowing molten gold. The pill case was in his vest.
"Let's see how everyone handle's the pressure!" he cackled loudly. He skated down the hall with a trail of steam following him. As the steam passed over bulletin boards or plastic covers over fire alarms, they started to melt.
Peer Pressure kicked in the door to his math class with insane glee. "Hello everyone! Peer Pressure here and I'm steaming mad at my so-called friends!"
The students all yelled and scrambled to get out of the Akuma's way as he cornered his friends. "You three are despicable! I could have died from popping that pill!"
"You took the pill on your own!" Lennox shouted back at the Akuma. His two buddies quickly covered the guy's mouth so he would speak again.
"You pressured me into it! I wouldn't have done it if you hadn't ganged up on me! Now you're going to suffer the consequences of your actions!"
He punched his fists twice sending out two molten fireballs that formed a square around the trio. "If you want to get out of that trap, then one of you is going to have to play with fire. If one person gets completely burned then the trap will go away and the other two can walk away. Hope you enjoy that!"
The three kids looked at him in horror. He was pressuring them to kill one of them so the other two could survive! How do you choose from that?
Peer Pressure left the classroom and spotted his teacher trying to get away. He rocketed towards her and punched his right fist once.
She screamed as the fireball collapsed the ceiling in front of her blocking her path. She turned to run in the other direction only to find out she was trapped in a fiery rectangle.
"Do you realize the amount of pressure you put on your students? The constant remarks about how we're never going to amount to anything if we don't get good grades? Barely even giving any notice you're going to be giving a test so a person can study?"
"Well, it's time you found out!" Bumping his fists together he raised the temperature as more steam damaged the area. His teacher lost sight of him as the steam got thicker.
"Right now the steam is at sauna level. Soon, it will surpass that and scald you badly. The longer you're in the steam, the more damage will be done. There is one safe path out of the steam cloud. However, with the temperature of the steam rising, you'll get disoriented quickly due to dehydration."
"So make a choice. Dehydration or scalding? Enjoy!" the voice called out of the fog.
At Collège Françoise Dupont, Marinette and Adrien were in the middle of their math quiz. Ms. Mendeleiev sat at her desk, sipping coffee. She had a mad gleam in her eyes as she watched the students struggle.
I knew adding a few bonus questions about previous math courses would cause some panic. I can't wait to see who manages to handle the stress."
Inside Marinette's purse, Tikki was keeping a sharp watch on Flurry. Her "cousin" had been a big help to her wielder last night and Marinette felt confident in her ability to solve the problems.
That didn't mean Tikki was going to relax until the test was over. Flurry was known for her gregarious behavior and she might communicate the answers to the teenager.
Flurry was tired of getting stared at. "Would you quit that? You're making me uneasy."
"I don't mean to. I'm just ensuring that Marinette doesn't get extra help to pass her quiz."
Flurry rolled her eyes and asked what was with Tikki and trust issues. The Academic Circle assisted wielders. They didn't give anyone the answers. What annoyed her more was Tikki had double standards.
She was fine with helping her wielder study and point the way to the answers for her homework. However, her attitude changed when it came to anyone else helping her wielder.
Flurry was about to tell Tikki that she was not being rational when she noticed the Tikki was glowing off and on. "What's is going on, Tikki?"
"Peace Keeper is sending a message to me via my Kwami Charm. There must be an Akuma about!"
Flurry surmised the Akuma was not out in the streets or the school because the akuma alarms hadn't gone off. That must mean it was inside an isolated building.
Marinette had told her that Hawkmoth was experimenting with victims again. Was it possible the Akuma was at another school? Both Marinette and Adrien needed to get out of class now.
"What do we do? There's an Akuma causing trouble, but if Marinette leaves without finishing the quiz she fails. She can't afford to have her grade in math slip further down."
"There's one solution to the problem. I guarantee you're not going to be happy about it," Flurry stated as she shoved Marinette's phone at Tikki.
"Go find a place where you can make a call to Adrien pretending to be his keeper so he has an excuse to leave."
Tikki was about to ask what Flurry was going to do when she was shoved out of the purse. Luckily, no one saw her as she scurried away to make the call.
Flurry rubbed her paw/hands together reached out to touch Marinette's ankle. Her power worked faster when it was near the neck or brain, but this would have to do.
"Equations!" she whispered. Flurry's power was to be able to help a person solve math equations at a high speed rate. If a wilder needed to know the exact speed and angle to save someone, the power would give them the knowledge almost instantly.
Marinette was biting the tip of the pencil when she felt as if her brain was on fire. Suddenly the questions made more sense as she wrote down the answers to the questions. Because the touch had been on her ankle, the power, Equations, was diminished, so it was still Marinette figuring out the answers, just more quickly.
Finished, she handed in the quiz and was permitted to leave the class early to go to lunch. Shortly after Adrien caught a call from "Nathalie" that he needed to leave class early. It was a good thing he had already finished the quiz.
Back at College Victor Hugo, Peer Pressure had trapped most of the student body in dangerous situations where they would be pressured on deciding who lived or died, to get out of their traps.
"I'm getting a little bored, Hawkmoth. When are Ladybug and Chat Noir going to get here so I can burn them?"
"Patience Peer Pressure. They'll be there soon. Just make sure you trap them in an impossible situation to give up their Miraculouses."
"Will do Hawkmoth." There was a large crashing sound coming from the courtyard. Rocket-skating over there, Peer Pressure saw the broken skylight and the two heroes who had just arrived.
"Finally! It was getting a bit boring not having anyone to pressure."
"Who are you? What do you want?"
The Akuma laughed and introduced himself. He then said his mission was to take their Miraculouses. He zoomed over to them.
The heroes jumped out of the way and started climbing up the wall to get a better vantage point.
Peer Pressure bashed his fists together and started throwing fireballs at them. One fireball connected with Chat's fake tail. Smelling the burning leather, the hero had no choice, but to quickly remove it before it reached his main body.
"Fried cat tail! I wonder if I should pressure someone to eat it while it's burning."
"I don't think that's a good idea," Ladybug said as she dropped down from the ceiling lining up for a kick. The Akuma pulled the aviator goggles over his eyes before firing even hotter flames upward.
Chat extended his baton as Ladybug fell. She caught it and swung herself back in the air. Using her yoyo, she managed to wrap it around a beam and pull herself to a high window ledge.
Frustrated, Peer Pressure quickly set his trap up. Steam started rising from his body until the whole courtyard started to burn. The flames were traveling up the walls threatening to enter the rest of the building.
"I've come up with an interesting situation for you two. You're feeling the pressure to stop me so you can save the rest of the school. I'm not going to let that happen!"
The heroes listened in dismay as Peer Pressure explained his trap. At the rate the school was burning, they could get out maybe half the students out before the building collapsed and he would just head to another school to attack their students.
If they surrendered their Miraculous, Peer Pressure would put out all the fires he had started. There was no certainty that they wouldn't suffer third-degree burns once they handed them over.
"So, what's it going to be heroes? Your Miraculouses, or the lives of everyone in this building?"
Wiping the sweat off his forehead, Chat called out. "My Lady, we need to do something now!"
"Lucky Charm!" She barely managed to catch a firefighter's oxygen tank and face gear. She looked around and got an idea. "Chat! You need to cover the broken skylight so the fire doesn't get more oxygen! I'll handle the rest!"
With a two finger salute, Chat Noir bounced off the walls and onto the roof. He looked for something he could use to cover the skylight. He spotted a small satellite clamped to the roof.
Running across the roof he charged up his power. "Cataclysm!" he shouted as the clamp keeping the satellite in place was destroyed. Once he had it in his hands he placed the dish over the broken skylight, preventing any air from getting through.
Thanks to her Lucky Charm, Ladybug was able to make it to the ground without burning her lungs. She wished she had known about the fire beforehand so she could have used the fire power up to protect herself better.
Peer Pressure suddenly popped out of nowhere as he grabbed her earrings. She was thankful the mask extended to protect her ears.
The Akuma came at her again and again as she managed to twist out of the way. As she did so she noticed the little pill case sticking out of the Akuma's vest. Her eyes then glanced up and she barely managed to see the skylight had been covered.
"What's the matter Ladybug? The pressure getting to you yet?" Peer Pressure taunted.
"No, because I'm going cool you off!" Her yo-yo flew past him and broke through the plastic covering the emergency sprinkler handle. With a tug, she pulled it down.
The sprinklers went off throughout the building. The water mixing with the fire created an enormous steam cloud. When it mixed with the existing steam clouds they turned into thick fog banks. Too thick for the Akuma to see.
"What the heck? Where are you Ladybug?" Peer Pressure started throwing punches into the fog, hoping to connect with her. He didn't even feel when the heroine pulled out the akumatized item and broke it.
She quickly purified the butterfly before shedding the firefighter gear. Using both hands, she threw them up in the air calling for Miraculous Ladybug. The ladybugs sped through the school rapidly restoring the damage and healing any injuries.
Onfroi rubbed his head and looked around. "This isn't the nurse's office?" He was shocked when a red and black spotted hand reached out to help him up. "Ladybug? What are you doing here?!"
"Restoring you to normal after being akumatized. You did a lot of damage, but I fixed it."
Onfroi looked at the floor in shame. "I can't believe this is happening to me. First, I get pressured into taking a pill to help me pass a math test, then I have an allergic reaction that nearly killed me, and lastly, I was akumatized!"
Ladybug reassured him. That he had learned a valuable lesson and he wouldn't give in to peer pressure again. She then took off before her transformation dropped.
Later that night at Master Fu's home, Ning told him about the vision of the past she had. He seemed unsettled by what she said, especially when Wayzz said, he couldn't recall the incident.
"I remember that night. I know that Alabahun took on the slavers. I just don't recall using Hibernation," he informed the two. He stroked his chin and scrunched his eyes. Something was amiss.
"Now that I think about it, there is a small gap in my memory. I remember going into battle, yet I can't recall the battle itself. My next memory is us arriving in a place to create a new village."
That was strange. What would cause a small gap in Wayzz's memory? "I wish we had the journals for more than the Universal Miraculous Circle. I wanted to compare them with the other circles."
Master Fu grimaced. The destruction of the Guardians Temple had destroyed all the journals for the CZMC. Since he hadn't been aware of most of the other circles he had never looked for them. The passage of time had wiped away those journals by now.
"Perhaps the Miraculous Book will provide us with a clue to this mystery," he suggested. He was also apprehensive about what they would discover.
He started scanning the pages trying to find some clue. He was able to look up and find out more about the powder from Ning's first vision.
"The memory loss powder is very powerful. It can wipe the mind of a wielder totally so they never remember having the Miraculous. With a simple word suggestion, a Guardian can replace the lost memories with events that never happened."
"However, the memory powder can make a person or a kwami forget important information, such as birthdays, skills, and in rare cases how to remember to breathe. It should only be used in the direst of situations. Even then, a pinch should be used. Too much can lead to lifelong health problems."
Ning thought back to what she had witnessed. The Guardian in the vision had thrown a whole bag in Kwan-yin's face. What if when he clutched his heart, it wasn't because of the broken bond?
"Memory powder is the reason behind Duusu's missing memory. There's a chance it was behind the small gap in Wayzz's memory."
Wayzz spoke up then. "It would be a challenge. Kwamiis have a slight awareness about what is going on when were are bonded with our wielders. To isolate and selectively remove that awareness while transformed would require precision."
"The question is why they would do that? Each journal contains several pages of what happened when the Miraculouses ended up with bad wielders. This begs the question of why the Guardians in this situation removed their mention," Master Fu intoned.
No one had an answer right now. Ning picked up the bee journal. She would have to find out if there are any other gaps in these.
That night, Adrien came over to Marinette's house as himself. The two of them had scheduled a study date to work on all their homework together. Before they began on that, they had to discuss their teammates.
Adrien suggested they should minimize the number of training sessions. "I understand your concerns about the team. I believe any problems with the team can wait a few more weeks. At least, until the amount of homework goes down a bit."
Marinette shook her head. She reminded him that the homework was going to increase, considering this year was preparation for the brevet at the end of the year.
"I think we can have shorter sessions. We can't cancel them altogether. Not with Hawkmoth going after people in other schools. We've been lucky to handle these new akumas on our own. Next time, we're probably going to need help."
Adrien knew she was right. He also understood that their teammates were not ready to be one their own yet. So he suggested they give their teammates a performance review.
Marinette thought over his suggestion. It wasn't a bad idea. They could see how much their teammates had improved since first getting their Miraculouses. A review session would also help figure out areas of improvement.
"We can talk about it with the others at our next training session. Right now, let's tackle this mountain of homework." Adrien agreed as the two hit the books.
