"What kind of problem do you have?" Finn asked Rigby. "There's this steakhouse in town that looks like it's vampire-themed, but I think there's something sinister inside!" Rigby answered. "Dude, come on! It's just a theme! Vampires aren't real!" Mordecai scolded Rigby. "Fives is a ghost, and he's real." Rigby rebutted. "What do you want us to do?" Jake asked.

"I'll need help to know what's really going on." Rigby answered. "Uh, are you two some kinda junior detective team?" Mordecai asked Finn and Jake. "Adventurers is the right word." Finn corrected. "Adventurers? You mean like treasure hunting kinda adventuring, or globetrotting tourist kind?" Mordecai asked Finn and Jake. "A bit of both, really. We're just there when people need help." Jake answered.

"Can you help a fella out?" Rigby asked. "We'll take it." Finn said. "Might as well do something while we're here." Jake added. "Aw yay-yuh! Here's a menu to the burger place that's across the steakhouse." Rigby celebrated as he passed Finn and Jake the yellow takeout menu. "We'll scout the location and come back here if we find anything interesting." Finn said as he and Jake stood up from their seat.

"Take care, and don't get blood-sucked!" Rigby waved goodbye as they walk away before Mordecai punches him in the side. "Ow! What the heck was that for?!" Rigby screamed. "Dude, you hired some kid and his dog to spy on a harmless steakhouse!" Mordecai scolded Rigby. "Ah-ah-ah! A potentially harmless steakhouse! Besides, this time we got someone else to snoop into places they shouldn't. And the best part's they're free!" Rigby argued before being punched by Mordecai again. "We have to follow them and make sure they don't get in trouble." Mordecai said before he drags Rigby away.

After trading some gold coins in Finn's backpack for money at a pawn shop, they arrive at the street across Fangs-In Steakhouse. "Looks pretty… vampirey." Jake commented. "We gotta to scout the place properly. Best bet is everything juicy's in the kitchen." Finn reminded Jake. "Okay, why don't I eat the steak and you look around?" Jake suggested. "I'm not hungry anyway. After we place our order, I excuse myself to the 'bathroom' and see what's what." Finn explained as they walk towards the restaurant.

"I'm glad we're doing something to take my mind off Martin." Finn said. "I'm just glad we get to eat steak." Jake added. They are greeted by a "vampire" waiter at the door. "Welcome, welcome, welcome to Fangs-In! A table for two?" the waiter asked Finn and Jake with an Eastern European accent. "Yep, just two." Finn answered.

"Please, follow me." the waiter directed them into the restaurant. After they enter, Mordecai and Rigby pull up a distance away from them on the steakhouse-side of the street. "They went in." Mordecai noted. "Mordecai, they'll be fine! If anything goes wrong, Jake can just grow his way outta there!" Rigby insisted. "That's the kind of thing I don't want to happen." Mordecai said.

The inside of the steakhouse is packed with diners sitting in a very causal environment, with wooden floorboards, red and black tables and chairs, and vampire-related memorabilia on the walls and shelves. Finn and Jake are seated at a booth and are handed menus by the waiter. "Please, take your time. I shall return with a complimentary appetizer to bite into." the waiter told them before walking away. "I like the décor, but I think they went a little overboard on red." Jake commented. "I gotta go to the 'little adventurer's room'." Finn winked to Jake before walking away.

Mordecai and Rigby approach the window of the restaurant and look inside. "There they are!" Mordecai pointed. Rigby looks elsewhere inside the restaurant, focusing on a table where a short, smartly-dressed man with a giant, bald yellow head is sitting, alongside a taller, smartly-dressed, moustachioed man with an even bigger pink head. "It's Pops!" Rigby said. "And Mister Maellard." Mordecai added.

"Oh, thank you father for bringing me out to dinner." Pops thanked his father with a jovial British accent. "I would've brought you somewhere else, but an associate suggested this place to me, said it's staffed by some of the best chefs in Eastern Europe. Even if it's a gimmick restaurant, I wanted to see for myself." Mr. Maellard responded with a stern-sounding voice. He watches a "vampire" waiter playing around with the customers, making faces. "It'll be a miracle to find an ounce of professionalism in this place." Mr. Maellard added. "We can't go in there! Not with Mister Maellard." Mordecai said.

"Ahem." Mordecai and Rigby heard a voice beside them. Standing hunched over the two over the backdrop of a setting sun is a tall, elderly grey-skinned man with balding hair, wearing a dress shirt and pants, and a nametag reading "BORIS". "Do you wish to enter my establishment, or are you loitering?" Boris asked them. "We're just leaving." Mordecai said. "Then… begone!" the man demanded as lightning strikes.

Mordecai and Rigby run away into the nearest alleyway. "Okay, Rigby, I think I know what you mean about this place having weird vibes." Mordecai panted. Rigby peeks around the corner and sees Boris gone. "He's gone." Rigby said. They hear something at the back of the restaurant, and go to investigate.

Inside the restaurant, Finn walks to the toilet entrance where the kitchen door is situated next to. As he put his hands on the kitchen door, someone bumps into him. "Sorry!" Finn apologized as he turned to the person; Martin. "Martin? What are you doing here? Why didn't you stay put?!" Finn asked. "I got bored. 'Sides, I heard this place got great steak." Martin answered.

"Ugh, I came here to get my mind off you, and here you are." Finn groaned. "Don't be sad, little fella. This is the perfect place for some father-son bonding." Martin assured. "If you wanna help, I gotta get into this kitchen for someone. Can you use your powers to make us invisible?" Finn asked Martin. "Eh, why not?" Martin accepted. He snaps his fingers and the two are invisible, visible only to each other.

The two enter the kitchen and see working chefs with unusually pale skin, in contrast to the waiters' grey skin. They walk around and witness chefs cutting up meat and draining blood into drink dispensers when a waiter enters the kitchen to collect an order. "Laszlo, your U.V. makeup is melting." a chef told the waiter. The waiter wipes a bit of his cheek with his finger, exposing pale white skin underneath. "Oh, sorry." the waiter apologized.

"Take a break, you've earned it." the chef told Laszlo. The waiter walks past Finn and Martin and goes to the butcher area of the kitchen, dispensing a cup of blood from one of the containers. "They're all vampires. It looks like they're drinking blood from the drained beef." Finn said. Entering the room is Boris, the restaurant manager. "Good job, everyone! We have a full house tonight thanks to all of you!" he announced to the staff in the kitchen.

"We couldn't do it without you, Boris!" one chef cheered. Boris looks at his watch and walks to the backdoor. "That's tonight's shipment of meat, I'll get that." Boris said. He steps out to the back and sees a truck backing into the loading area as Mordecai and Rigby hide behind a dumpster to watch him. "Look, it's that creepy guy that threatened us!" Rigby pointed.

"From what he's wearing, I think he's the manager." Mordecai added. He opens the truck's cargo door to reveal a group of vampire assassins wearing black jackets and pants, armed with a variety of knives. "Finally, you're here. This is your target." Boris told the assassins as he handed them a flyer to the burger shop across the street. "Dead or alive?" the assassins asked. "Alive, and I just need five of them for the ritual." Boris answered.

"Why not take the humans in your restaurant?" another assassin asked. "Too many eyes. My staff won't approve, either." Boris answered. "They're going to attack the burger place!" Mordecai said. "No! I just discovered them!" Rigby added. "We gotta get pops outta here." Mordecai said before the two runs away unseen.

As they leave, Laszlo exits the building from the back with a bag of trash, stumbling upon Boris and the assassins. "Boris, why are the Blades of Vladimir here?" Laszlo asked worriedly. "Kill him." Boris commanded the assassins, who gladly comply. Finn and Martin exit the kitchen and uncloak. "Now, that was something. In all my escapades, I've never seen real vampires before." Martin said.

"I gotta go." Finn said as he walks away. "Wait, don't you wanna talk about adventures, or something? I got plenty of stories, like when I met alien robots, and I worked one of them. If I recall, his name was Lockdown." Martin called out. Finn stops in his tracks and looks back to Martin. "Lockdown?" Finn repeated in surprise. "Got involved with a heist. It kinda went wrong and he wasn't very happy. He said something about coming after my family, but I wasn't worried since I basically didn't have any." Martin explained.

Finn just stood in shock, remembering Lockdown telling him he tried to covertly kill Finn on a number of occasions. "He recently hired me again. He said he was interested in my abilities to open portals to the past and other universes, or whatever. First day on the job, I had to send this android disguised as some big dude back in time for some reason." Martin explained. "My friends almost died because of you!" Finn screamed. At the same moment, Mordecai and Rigby burst into the restaurant. "Pops! Pops! Pops!" they screamed.

"Oh, Mordecai and Rigby, how nice of you to come!" Pops greeted the two excitedly. "Pops, listen, you and your dad gotta leave! They're real vampires!" Rigby exclaimed. "Oh dear… Pops said worriedly. "You two need to leave." a waiter demanded Mordecai and Rigby sternly. A different waiter comes to Finn and Martin to handle the situation.

"Kid, calm down, I finally got a job!" Martin argued. "That android almost killed me and my friend Simon!" Finn exclaimed before being dragged away by a waiter by the arms. "Lemme go!" he demanded. Finn, Mordecai, and Rigby are thrown out of the restaurant. "Don't come back!" the waiter exclaimed.

Shortly after, Jake emerges from the restaurant with takeout. "How'd infiltration go? Oh yeah, I got you some ribeye." Jake asked Finn. "Mordecai? Rigby? What are you doing here?" Finn asked them. "We came to check on you." Mordecai answered. "I found out they're vampires." Finn answered.

"We know, and they're going to strike the burger shop across us!" Mordecai said. "Oh yeah, you were talking about that with that big-headed baldy." Jake noted. "It didn't look like they wanted to hurt anyone. The only blood they drank is from the raw beef." Finn said. "But we saw vampire assassins talking to the manager!" Rigby added. "Let's go back to the Park. I know someone who can help." Mordecai suggested.

As they drive away in the golf cart, Martin steps outside to watch them. They arrive in front of a small white house in the Park composed of a small building and an adjacent garage. "This is Skips' house. If there's anything supernatural, he's the guy to call." Mordecai said. They knock on the door and are met by a tall yeti wearing jeans.

"Yeah?" the yeti greeted them with a low, raspy voice. "We got a problem, Skips." Mordecai answered. The yeti peeks behind Mordecai and Rigby to see Finn and Jake. "Who're they?" Skips asked. "I'm Finn and this is Jake. We're Mordecai and Rigby's new friends." Finn answered.

"Hmm… come in." Skips said. They follow Skips inside and see a vampire chef sitting at a table in the middle of a relatively-empty room. "Estet." the vampire chef greeted them casually.
