Chapter 3

What I ended up doing after fleeing the terrifying spaghetti yeti was, I just ran in a random direction trying to get the last of the sand out of my eyes. I ran for what must be hours, or maybe it was minutes, hard to say considering I have no way to tell time, and everything looks nearly the same. Well, between that and constantly worried about getting murdered. When I finally do manage to get my eyes open, I am met with a surprising sight on my hands. I see dried blood.

'How the hell did I get blood on my hands?'

As I continue running, I see blood coating a good bit of not just my hands but my arms as well. In fact, it looks like the greatest amount of dried blood on me is on my side near my ribs that I got…

'Oh shit the fucking yeti did a number on me when it hit me midair!? It must have had the claws out when it hit me. If I hadn't angled myself like that midair, I would likely be dead from that thing… But how do I not have a gaping wound from that? The amount of dried blood is a lot. I mean as in I could die from blood loss. What is happing with my body? Screw it I will figure it out later after I get to safety.'

I shudder at the implication of me being so close to death. And now I begin questioning my sanity for going to what appears to be a mountain in the distance for safety.

You know in hindsight, me going for the only landmark in sight probably wasn't the greatest idea when I think about it. It's not only because the damn thing is the only thing you see for what I assume are miles around. Besides of course the sand everywhere. Fucking sand.

But when I think about it, since this is a significant landmark who is to say that a powerful hollow, or god forbid an adjuchas is there then my goose is cooked, and ready to be served for dinner. And if it's a vasto lorde, I will die. No doubt in my mind of that.

Unless it's Halibel. Which then I don't mind getting to be her friend. If not more than that... Or maybe not considering she may kill me on sight potentially. Either way that is a possible issue I will deal with when I get there.

The main issue is that despite me getting a pretty good speed boost and seemingly having a near endless amount of stamina for how long I have been running and not sweating from this or being out of breath, is that I have not from what I can see with my own eyes gotten any closer to the mountain!

So, if that is really the case and if it isn't a mirage if that is possible here in Hueco Mundo then this thing is possibly a mountain way off in the distance.

It reminds me of that mountain I saw on my plane ride to Las Vegas with my 2 brothers. I suggested we go climb it and they laughed at me telling me they would be too preoccupied getting to it because of how far away it is. From what they told me that mountain is at least several days away if you walk to it. Driving to it would still take several hours.

Finishing remembering fond memories of the past before everything went horribly wrong, I decide to just jump a few times getting some damn good airtime that no normal human could ever get while crossing a good chunk of ground just to test how strong I have gotten. 'This is awesome! Well besides the cannibal ghosts all around me howling for my blood…'

Which they still haven't stopped giving the occasional howl and it still gives me the creeps when they do.

My reasoning on going for the mountain is that my gut feeling in life that has saved me quite a few times throughout my life, such as having a bad feeling going to certain areas only to have a drive by shooting occur there among other things. My dad would call it our sixth sense. Or our gut instinct.

Whatever you want to call it feels like its pulling to that thing. Hopefully, it's not the one time it leads me astray. Because I just realized something as I run to the top of a decent sized sand dune and jumped as soon as I got to the top of it in my excitement for my new strength.

Most obviously going for the mountain may not be viable, I have gotten stronger but nowhere near enough to beat anything stronger than a regular hollow. I know this because when I focus enough, I can use my other sight to look at myself which is trippy and weird when you are seeing things in a 360-degree field of view.

My energy is constantly getting brighter and more solid? Is that the right word? Doesn't really matter, what does is as a result whenever I focus in on myself, I can see what I assume is me getting stronger just by being here. One thing I am grateful for not having to figure out is my other vision doesn't take much for me to see through that method while also seeing with my own eyes. Hopefully, I can get the range for it far enough where I can see threats before they see me.

And the howls of the hollows I noticed from the time since I have started running has gotten to the point, I hear them everywhere. There are more of them hunting me now… But why haven't they found me yet? I have yet to see anymore after the yeti attack.

That is a sentence I never thought I would have in my life. Me getting attacked by a yeti. Now all I need is a Slim Jim and the joke that is my life is complete. Ignoring my attempt at self-deprecating humor, as I land on the sand beneath the massive sand dune, which I screwed up the landing and immediately started tumbling along the ground, though I managed to get my footing after rolling a good distance along it…

At this rate I'm going to get myself killed by wasting time like that if not putting myself into a vulnerable position to be attacked. Immediately as this thought crosses my mind, I take note of the fact I still don't see anything around me with my own eyes and my new sense. Besides of course all the sand and energy all over the place. Yet I can hear them all over the place.

'So, I am basically running through a fuck ton of hollows hunting grounds and making myself into a bigger and fatter meal if they can sense the energy coming off me', I assumed. There is no other way I could explain them tracking me unless they could smell me.

Dude fuck the eldritch assholes for putting me here. It's only a matter of time before something strong enough with enough energy that will end up killing me.

I know shark skin from Naruto was able to absorb chakra from tailed beasts like it's nothing but those fights still took some time and it couldn't absorb all of it at once. And I don't know if I have bigger limitations than that since it's an aspect of it, or I have no limits or it's the same.

Not to mention if it has changed somewhat to match the laws and rules of Bleach in general since chakra and spirit energy or whatever they call it here works differently. Then you got the potential difference in sheer power I have no clue on when comparing the hollows and just characters of Bleach in general to the raw power of Naruto characters especially the tailed beasts to things like captains and vasto lordes.

I must figure out just how much I can absorb or at least if there is no limit considering shark skin never showed an outright limit to how much chakra it could absorb. The rate it can absorb things as that seemed to be the only thing it had a limit on.

Especially when and not if I get into a dangerous life and death fight, which to be honest here it's Bleach. That is a guarantee to happen. If not a hollow, then a soul reaper will try to do me in because of their messed-up government may deem me an abomination needing to be purged.

The problem is me figuring this out any way in the foreseeable future requires me at least to do just what I am dreading will happen. That is having to fight something or hope I get lucky and find a place in Hueco Mundo that has a larger than normal amount of spirit energy which is very unlikely. And I got lucky with the yeti hollow. So, I am not liking my odds against another one when I barely survived because of dumb luck.

I need to at least do something to at least help me fight or buy me time to run away. I need something to fight back with. It must be a ranged method no less, I sucked at fighting guys when I was in high school let alone after that. I mean I may not have known how to fight very well per say but that didn't mean I wouldn't pick up the nearest most convenient object to beat the crap out of someone with it.

I stuck up for myself when I needed to but that does jack shit in this situation. Especially since I am dealing with physically stronger creatures that know how to use their bodies to their advantage and know how to fight in close range… Well if anything I am physically stronger, so I won't get completely overpowered by them, emphasizing the point by taking a huge leap forward.

"I got to stop thinking about everything else it's distra-" I never got to finish that sentence as I am somehow knocked up and off to the side while I was still airborne, and I am bouncing off the sand like a rock skipping across water.

In a matter of seconds, I find myself stopping a good distance from where I impact into a small sand dune. As I try to get up off my back, I realize I can't use my left arm to raise myself up. I look at it and I am horrified by what I see.

My left arm is bent at multiple incredibly awkward angles. 'The fuck?' In my confused shell-shocked state I was in I failed to realize that I need to move and flee from whatever did that. Which earned me a hit to my chest which sends me straight through to the other side of the small sand dune once more skidding across the sand.

This time I manage to slow myself down enough to not get sent rolling along the sand, and once I am at a complete stop, I feel a feeling in the back of my head, and I oblige it. I get up and immediately throw myself to the side. A huge blast of whatever it is creating a cantaloupe sized crater where my head used to be.

Getting up as fast as possible and noticing that my left arm is no longer broken. Neat. I run where I hope is away from my attacker. Only to get knocked down by the force of a blast in front of me. Managing to roll to my feet using the momentum generated by the attack, I opt to go for a small sand dune as cover this time instead of just trying to run away from whatever is trying to snipe me.

Ducking down below what I hope is the line of sight and direction the attacks came from with the small sand dune. Thankfully, the dune may not have height, but it does have a decent width to it considering its length is somewhat sizable. So, if the thing that is attacking decides to blind fire into it, they have their work cut out for them on guessing where I am.

I realize I should check myself over and look down only to then be met with surprise over my left arm and check to see if anything is different or off about it. I wasn't expecting it to not be healed by any means, just I expected for some scarring or deformity. Nope. Nothing. Not a single deformity.

'Wait? What about my chest?!', I realize that whatever attacked me was able to break my arm that easily then what about my chest when it shot me through the sand dune? Looking down only to be met with relief that its somehow fine?

'Wait. Why didn't it break my rib cage? Or mess up my major internal organs? Was my ribcage strong enough to withstand it?'

I then realize that I need to focus on more important things right now. Such as me needing to try to figure out what my plan is to get out of this situation. Which my only plan I can think of is trying to either escape which is not an option considering I don't know where the thing is attacking me from and not to mention it sniping me before I can get anywhere. That and it has proven to be somewhat accurate with its shots. The other option is not much better and that is to just fight it. Which I currently do not have a ranged attack…

'I'm so fucking screwed.', taking a moment to center myself and calm down I start coming up with something that might be called a plan. 'Well first things first, I need to know where it's at. Panicking and freaking out along with getting depressed over this crap isn't going to get me out of this mess. As my dad put it, it's time to man up.'

Using my new sight, I scan out into the notably large distance it now covers. Besides all the energy in the air I can see colors and physical things with this new sense of sight, and it's even better then when I dealt with the spaghetti yeti because I can see for what has to be close to a mile now. Oh no… I don't see anything.

'What?! Then where is it?' I think to myself in surprise that I don't see anything… I then make one of the dumbest decisions I could have ever made in my life. I look up over the sand dune sticking my head out. Looking out into the distance with my physical eyes for at least 3 seconds to then be met with a blast slightly to the right of my head forcing me to fall back behind the dune.

'Damn! I seriously need to think things through a lot better. If that had hit my head, it could have blown it off. If I don't get my head on straight this place will be the death of me!' in my personal tirade towards my own stupidity and having no self-preservation I finally calm down only to realize something. Despite getting a look for a sizable distance I saw nothing.

Either the attacker is so far out of my line of sight that I can't see it or something else is going on. Like is it pulling a predator and going invisible or something. Wait. What if it is? As dumb of an idea as it is, it is the only thing I have to go off of and I rather not stay here any longer than necessary. Especially knowing other hollows are hunting me and could catch me while I am pinned down.

Concluding that I can't afford to waste any more time, I then start scanning out into the distance once more with my sight. Well time to use my experience from games with invisible killers. In other words, look for a shimmer in the air or subtle and small movement. Jeez, this is going to be like looking for a needle in a huge barn. Even with me knowing the general direction the shots were fired from.

I stay there scanning for a few minutes noticing nothing besides the sand, focusing on a specific area for quite a few seconds trying to look for very subtle movement or a shimmer. Then I move on to another area, rinse and repeat hoping I find something. After combing over vast expanses of land I think I finally found something. It was small but I thankfully took notice. It was a small patch of sand that just got pushed down very slightly as if something was stepping on it.

The weird part was that there was no shimmer. I don't even see any form of energy. Wait… It is there! It's like its energy was dulled down to blend in with its surroundings. It's almost perfect even, but I can still see the difference in the energy around it and its body. Heck it even has a slightly off outline to the color of the sand, like a chameleon. I realize why I couldn't see it initially with my eyes. It was blending in not only with the colors and slight shade variants of the sand, but the small shadows cast from the light on the sand. But despite being able to somewhat see its outline I can't really tell what its body looks like.

But the problem I find myself now facing is how do I fight it? I can't get close to it simply because it has proven it is decently accurate and do I really want to test my already bad luck and charge it to see if it can hit me? And running has the same issue. I don't have a ranged option…

"Shit! What do I do now…", cursing this whole situation feeling the same feeling I felt in my preteen years. Of being picked on and can't do anything about it. Feeling my old and closest companions return once more of anger and frustration at the messed-up situation I find myself in. Just like my old dreams of being chained and shackled as others do what they want to me and I can do nothing. Being weak.

At this thought I subconsciously close my fist, my anger growing hotter and hotter in my chest with the stress and everything that has happened in the short time since I was taken from my life. Then I notice it. With my anger starting to flare from remembrance of darker times I notice that my body is starting to glow brighter with the energy in me? No, not necessarily brighter. More like it's becoming more active. I especially take notice of it converging around my arm.

In fact, said arm has appeared to take on a slight glow? It is barely noticeable even if you focus on it. As my anger now leaves me the surge of energy just as quickly calms down. Leaving my earlier mood and darker emotions behind I start focusing and trying to figure out how to manipulate the spirit energy in me. Well considering I can see it inside of my own body which made it a lot easier, nothing like having a visual aid to help.

In fact, it almost comes off as instinctive. I start off trying to see if I can just move it around my body. Initially nothing at first. But when I start focusing and willing it to go to my fist it struggles to do so. As I continue to focus, I start managing to get the ball rolling. The thing that I noticed that I was mainly struggling with was keeping it centered and active in my fist. As I kept trying to make an attack it got easier, not enough to keep it active without actively having to focus but progress none the less.

Well time to see if I have an attack, and there is only one way I can think of to test it. I immediately punch my fist out with the energy condensed around it away from the sand dune. As soon as my fist shoots out, I do not get a projectile like I was expecting. Instead, I get a sizable shockwave that blows a ton of the sand away from me and leaving a small trench in its wake a couple of meters long. While I find myself embedded slightly in the dune I was using for cover.

'This is not going as well as I had hoped' I think to myself as I try to get myself out of the dune and dust myself off as more sand yet again gets all over me. Well, I think I can officially say I really don't like sand.

Regardless, I need to focus more and make a ranged attack out of this. I think I was on the right track. It's just I didn't take it far enough. I hope. Then again, I am going off nothing here so… Then I notice something in my vision I was not paying attention to at the time due to getting embedded in the dune. The hollow is not there anymore…

'Oh no. Where did it go?!' I worriedly think to myself, trying my best to not panic, 'I need to look for it. I need to know where it's at in case it tries to pull something. I know what to look for with its appearance or at least what it looks like when cloaked considering it can't perfectly match the energy in the environment along with its camouflage.' I manage to calm myself down with that last thought realizing I can do this!

Scanning out once more, I go over the area I last saw it at and still don't see anything. I look to areas that are closer to me just in case it's trying to pull something. Nothing… What? Then the only place it could have gone was further back. But why? Wait, did I scare it with me doing what I did with my attack? Then again it has been staying a good distance from me as it shoots me so I guess that would make sense. Well, I guess check and see how far it got from the previous position.

I look over all the areas that are farther away from its previous spot. Even with me knowing what to look for it is still going to be a major pain considering its not in any area close to its previous position. Eventually I find it a long way from where it was when I first spotted it.

It's just standing there. And as soon as I start to think on what it is doing, I barely can see it as it blurs to a new spot on top of a hill of sand and I am shocked at how fast it moved. Well, that explains how it covered so much ground so quickly in the time I was trying to make a ranged attack. It's not blended in with the surroundings. In fact, it looks like it still has the same coloration from its previous position.

But then I start looking at the actual body now that I have a chance to. Its appearance is interesting to say the least. Its main body from what I can see right now is that of a lizard, but it has a slight nub that would be generous to call a tail. However, its throat occasionally bulges out and then goes back to normal. Almost like a frog. But the biggest thing that gets my attention is its back legs and the mask. The legs are like a grasshoppers. So that is how it was able to move so fast. But the mask or face was creepy. It looks like a tiki mask met the elongated head of a xenomorph. Flat face with flat overly large teeth, then the elongated upper part of the mask.

As I look over this things appearance, I immediately notice its body start shifting coloration and its energy to blend better with its new position. So, its ability to blend in with the area around it takes some time. Alright so it has limits with the cloak and can move fast with those legs. Along with a ranged attack. Well, I now have a better idea of what I am fighting against.

Either way I need to focus. The amazing thing about this sight is that it's like keeping an eye on someone with your peripheral vision while focusing on something in front of you except it's a 360-degree field of view. The big thing is paying attention to everything in my sight. Which is a lot more difficult than most people would think it would be.

Now that I know where the hollow is at, I need to get a ranged attack. I go back to channeling my energy into my hand, having improved enough with the control of it that I am now able to shift the energy to it quicker than before. Not only that but I don't need as much focus or time as I did in the beginning. I have it all back in my hand. Now what do I do? Do I just try to shove it out of a finger or something? Then again, I did just make a spirit fist from Yu Yu Hakusho, so I guess a spirit gun wouldn't be too far off?

Well, it's a worth a shot I suppose… And now I start the struggle of forcing it up to my index finger. Which I can do rather quickly in comparison to my first attempt with my fist. With me having accomplished that, I now must try and get it to come out. As I do so feeling the energy in my finger and the "pressure" of it on said finger, I concentrate on it trying to force it out, and surprisingly I get some success from it.

As I force it out of the finger, I can see at the tip of it a marble sized ball of light. 'Well, that sucks it's so small. Oh well, at least I am mak'- I immediately take notice of the hollows head immediately jerking towards the direction I am at and its throat bulges out. Then it opens its mouth and shoots what looks like a basketball sized ball of air.

I get up out of my resting position and step to the side and casually avoid the attack as it blasts through my cover. Only to then realize it's not stopping. In the time I just avoided the initial shot it fires another shot, and as I am about to step away from the spot it fires yet another shot near my location.

This time around I take several quick strides to gain some distance in hopes it will lose my position. Which the hollow crushes my hopes on because its gaze continues to follow my position and fires several more blasts. Except this time, it's like it's trying to predict where I will go and leads its shots accordingly.

Because the next several shots it fires unlike the previous attacks get close to hitting me as I move even further along the dune. I dive out of the way of one only to be met with a near hit to my shoulder. Which I get up immediately only to move to my left a sizable distance as blast after blast is fired at me nearly hitting me each time.

How the hell does it know my position? Wait, is it the glow from my finger? Which still currently has the marble of energy out of it glowing. I then dodge several more barrages as I cut the flow of energy off from my hand. As this happens the hollow fires a few more shots after this then stops. Several of which were incredibly close to hitting me. That was way too close for comfort.

I then notice to my horror that as I was dodging all the attacks, I am close to the far left near the edge of the sand dune. Upon realizing this I try and back track to then further notice that the parts of the dune had sunken way lower. Too low to be used as cover unless I crawl along the ground. Which I can't do because I need mobility if it starts shooting me again.

Then the hollow yet again gets my attention by readying another attack, except this time it's not aimed near my current location at the edge. It starts rapid firing at the rest of the dune from where I was originally before it attacked. The balls of air this time are much bigger, and they are aimed near the bottom to middle of the dune. As each of the balls hit the dune they don't outright penetrate through, they instead cause the sand to blast out in a wide area causing the sand to collapse.

'The bastard knows he has me pinned and is removing the rest of the cover. Shit…' as this thought goes through my mind, I also realize that I have some time left before it gets rid of the rest of the dune. Do or die time. I have to get this attack ready. So, I get back to what I was doing and now I am even better than before. I can easily call upon the energy in me and effortlessly move it to my fist, then my finger.

As I do this, the dune is getting quickly destroyed. Not much time. I then get the energy to come out of my index finger except this time it's not the size of a marble, it's the size of a baseball. I get close to the top of the dune without sticking out, take my hand that is the only thing out of cover and aim the finger at the hollow. It stops its assault and as its head starts looking towards me and its throat bulges out I will the energy in my finger to shoot forward.

The projectile I fire from my finger blasts forward straight to the hollow on its hill. However, the hollow sees the attack coming and it jumps away however not unscathed as my new attack hits the hill and obliterates it. A giant explosion engulfs the hill, bathing everything in a blue light as it sends sand everywhere almost like a mushroom cloud. The resulting force sends the hollow hurling towards the sands below with great force. It impacts the sand and as it hits it loses one of its legs and rolls along the sand eventually coming to a stop.

However, the force from the explosion not only decimates the hill but also sends what is left of the dune on top of me as I am drowned in sand. I fight and claw my way out of it trying to get back up and eventually get out of the huge pile on top of me. As I get out the hollow isn't done with me yet as it fires several shots of the smaller air balls at me.

I start dodging with even greater skill than I did before easily avoiding the attacks as I angle myself into positions with minimal effort while standing not even needing to dive anymore, and tap into my energy and point my finger back at it and fire another shot at it.

However, unlike the baseball sized shot I was expecting I am instead met with the one that was the size of a marble as it approaches the vulnerable hollow who fires another shot but instead of being aimed at me its aimed at my shot. My shot meets the ball of air however for a fraction of a second my shot is slowed down initially when it touches the air ball only for it to then pierce through it and disperses the ball of air as it continues towards its target.

However, the hollow was not done yet, as my shot was piercing its attack it takes a leap with its remaining grasshopper leg and jumps away in a chaotic spiral in an attempt to dodge the attack. The resulting explosion from my attack was much smaller compared to the first one however it was still amazing to see none the less considering it was enough to encompass at least two cars side by side.

As it gets close to the ground the hollow fires more shots at me as it spins most of which go off course, though some come close to me. I avoid all of them by moving just slightly out of the way of each one and fire another marble sized shot that I had charged up as soon as I saw the hollow leap away.

Much to my surprise though, as the hollow lands I notice that the spot on its body where its missing leg starts to bubble then something bursts forth from it and it's another leg. Oh shit. As my next shot gets close to it, it then jumps with far more speed from the spot it just landed at easily avoiding the blast and lands some distance away from the previous spot. I fire yet another shot which the hollow easily avoids despite how fast it is and makes several super-fast jumps.

I am at first confused because I lose track of it to then notice it in my other vision that it appears behind me which I barely have time to react as it fires several blasts at me as its much closer than it has ever been. I dodge almost all of them by the skin of my teeth by barely angling and positioning myself to avoid them as that's all I can do with the time I have, I end up getting hit with a shot that hits my left shoulder.

As I am sent flying off my feet by the attack, I unfortunately shot my attack as this happened sending it way off course, but the hollow still jumps away. As the explosion goes off, I am rolling with the force of the attack to help me get up while keeping the momentum. Only to then be met with several blasts being fired from seemingly every direction in a massive barrage that makes me break out in a cold sweat at what I am facing.

Through an impressive display of acrobatics and flexibility that I have no idea how I did it let alone knew how to do them, I started dodging and flipping as I have to jump over several blasts, doing different angles in the air and ground to avoid all the attacks as they came in from nearly every direction with varying angles all the while moving nonstop from point to point. I don't even have time to think, just react and act accordingly going purely off of instinct.

It wasn't just the acrobatics and the way I maneuvered my body that was amazing, but it was the speed and ease at which I did so. I have ever been this hyper focused in my life before. To the point I was flowing around every attack like a winding river while simultaneously moving my body several figurative and literal steps ahead as I watched with my new vision as I see all the incoming attacks and move accordingly.

The hollow was attempting to lead its shots and force me into a vulnerable position which with me doing this and my vision giving me sight of all the attacks despite not being able to see the hollow itself made it so it couldn't and as the constant barrage continued, I fired several more of my own attacks when I was dodging.

Initially they were the marble sized ones sending explosions everywhere as they missed their target. However, those attacks started to slowly change. They gradually became elongated, and faster. Eventually having no explosion followed with them hitting the environment. They looked like a darker blue beam instead of being shaped like a ball with a lighter color blue. Instead of blowing up, they pierced through everything as they missed and hit the surroundings and tunneled through it leaving long tunnels into the sand.

All the while getting closer and closer to the hollow as where the attacks appeared from nothing, that nothing started to become a blur, and as I continued to dodge everything all the while firing my own attacks back with seamless ease and grace, the blur became the hollow. And as this was happening the attacks were not as numerous due to the hollow having to put more effort into dodging my attacks because of how close they were getting and the beams piercing its own attacks and popping them like a needle would a bubble. All the while I could now see it fully and acted upon it.

Even if I couldn't move as fast as it, I don't need to. I just need to be able to react to it and hit it. So as the firefight continued the hollow as more time went on became more evasive and defensive barely firing any shots now with all my beams getting closer and closer each time and it knew it.

Especially since my beams are not just powerful, but incredibly fast to the point the hollow has barely any time to dodge when combined with my sight. Its attacks could slow down the orbs, but they had no effect on the beams. Now, the tables have turned. Its attempts at cornering me into a vulnerable position has been reversed. Every time it evades an attack, it delays the end and its very much aware of this due to how panicked its movements seem to be now.

Unfortunately, it can do nothing as a beam finally makes contact, severing one of its back legs at the mid-point on its joint. After it lands a sizable distance from me it can barely maneuver itself on the ground desperately firing off shots at me as it fights for its life. I fire a beam followed by a marble sized energy orb.

Instead of just shooting a blast at the beam knowing it won't work it attempts to shoot at the sand in front of it trying to cover its escape. It would have caught me off guard had it not been for my sight. Using its one good back leg to launch itself as far as it can possibly go just as the beam makes it where its head was at along with the marble blowing up the area. However, the hollow was still caught in the explosion and lost its stubby tail along with the other back leg as it goes flying off in the distance and rolling along the ground.

Finally coming to a stop, it struggles to lift its head and fires more shots at me as I casually move my body ever so slightly to avoid each attack with the minimum of effort. As it struggles for nothing, I fire one more attack, this time it's a baseball sized orb and I fire it. The hollow has no time to regenerate its legs. Its attacks are all dispersed as the attack ploughs through all of them despite being slowed down and finally meets its target. The hollow is now enveloped in a bright explosion erasing any trace that it ever existed within a massive explosion.

And I stand there for a few seconds before snapping out of my focused state of mind and fall to my knees in shock at what I just did. How? What the fuck did I just do… Only for me to be brought out of my surprise and shock as I hear an unfamiliar voice talk in a foreign language right behind me.
