4 days passed since Golden , now Goldeneye, joined Thunderclan and she was really enjoying her life in her new clan. At first, some Cats didn't trusted her because she was a rogue. However, thanks to her kindness and sweet nature , she quickly warmed up her Clan-Mates. The Elders grew fond of her as she always respected them and enjoyed their stories. She even helped the apprentices to take care of the Elders so she was equally loved by them.

She managed to befriend some of the Queens like Brindleface and Goldenflower and sometimes, the two allowed her to play with their kits.

Bramblekit and Tawnykit , Goldenflower's kits , grew to like her and in return Goldeneye took a liking to them as she didn't understand why some of her Clan-mates were sometimes glaring at the kits. When she asked Goldenflower, the Queen sighed in sadness before responding " Its because they are Tigerckaw's kits... Bramblekit looks just like him... Even Fireheart didn't trust him !"

At those words, Goldeneye became a bit shocked "Fireheart ? Why ? This kits didn't do anything !" she remarked softy : she had heard about what Tigerclaw did and she was horrified. "You are right... but many seems to not care... Many thoughts that they would turn evil like their father..." Goldenflower explained sadly as she looked at her kits , still playing.

" Then they are all mouse-brain !" Goldeneye replied with a frown and the Queen looked at her warmly "Thank you Goldeneye but I think someone want to talk to you..." the Golden Queen whispered as she looked at something behind the White and Honey furred Molly who turned her head to see Whitestorm approaching her. Goldeneye said goodbye to Goldenflower before approaching the White tom.

"Can I help you Whitestorm ?" she asked him gently. During the time she passed in Thunderclan, the White and Honey-furred Molly grew to respect Whistestorm as he was a experimented Warrior " Yes you can Goldeneye ! The fresh kill pile is almost empty so..." "I understand..." the Molly responded as she trotted toward the gorse tunnel...only to gump into Brightpaw "Sorry Goldeneye I didn't see you..." the White and ginger she-cat mumbled in apologize.

The White and Honey Furred Warrior purred assuringly "Its fine Brightpaw but...Why are in such a hurry ?" she asked the apprentice with a smile "I have a message for Fireheart : he , Sandstorm and a cat named Ravenpaw are away to look for Cloudpaw !" the apprentice explained to her and Goldeneye was surprised to hear that. She had learned that Cloudpaw , Fireheart's apprentice and nephew was taken away by a couple of Two-Legs days before she joined the Clan.

When she had heard this, she tried to comfort Fireheart as best as she could and it seemed to work . However, Sandstorm , a pale ginger she-cat with green eyes was always glaring at her menacingly each time Goldeneye was near Fireheart and she still didn't know why. Shaking her head to ge rid of those thoughts, Goldeneye looked back at the apprentice before her "Go see Whitestorm I have to go hunting " "Ok see you " Brightpaw replied as she passed the Older Feline to approach her mentor.

Purring in amusement, Goldeneye passed the gorse tunnel before entering the forest in search for prey. Near Sunningrocks, she crouched down as she spotted a rather plump mouse among the grasses. Licking her lips, she approached it silently before striking. The rodent didn't have time to react and when it did , it was too late as she broke his tiny neck , killing it instantly.

Hours later, she came back to camp with a respectable amount of prey : 3 mouses, 2 sparrows and a squirrel. She deposed her catch in the fresh kill pile before picking up the squirrel and walking toward the Medicine Cat's den. Yellowfang was there and when Goldeneye entered, the grumpy she-cat looked at her then at the squirrel "I hope this squirrel is not for me ! I already ate !" " I know you did ! From what I heard you are able to ate HALF the fresh kill pile !" The White and Honey furred Molly remarked teasingly and the Medicine Cat snarled at her back.

The two became good friends since Goldeneye joined Thunderclan. Then another figure approached Goldeneye and welcomed her with a smile "Hey Goldeneye ! Is this squirrel for me ? I'm starving !" Cinderpelt said with her usual playful demeanor. The White and Honey-furred Warrior smirked as she eyed Yellowfang "I can understand why...with a big eater like a certain grumpy cat beside me~" When Yellowfang glared at her, the two other mollies laughed with humor.

" Goldeneye do you like Fireheart ?" Cinderpelt asked her suddenly and the question caught the Warrior of guard "Y-Yes he is a nice tom..." "Admit you LOVE him !" The twisted legged She-cat added with a devious grin and Goldeneye couldn't stop blushing "Y-Yes I DO love him ! Happy ?" Cinderpelt then became serious again "Then if I were you I would tell him your feeling because you are not the only she-cat mooning around him..."

At those words, Goldeneye flinched visibly as she looked at the gray she-cat with wide eyes. "Who ?" she asked her softy as she wanted to know who loved Fireheart as well. "Well...I think I don't need to tell you..." Cinderpelt responded as she seemed nervous. The White and Honey-furred Warrior then thought about it and her eyes widened when she realized WHO was her rival

"Don't tell me its...Sandstorm ?!" Goldeneye asked the Medicine Cat's apprentice with horror and shock and to her chagrin, the gray molly nodded "Yes...". No wonder the pale ginger she-cat always glared at her : Goldeneye was the other one in love for Fireheart so she was a potential rival. " I don't know what to do... How can I win Fireheart's love ? What if he loved Sandstorm ?"

"Then stop crying like a pathetic kit and go tell him what you feel before its too late !" Yellowfang shouted at her with a serious look on her face catching the other two of guards. After a moment of silence, Goldeneye regained her composure and looked at the other two with determination "I will tell him when he came back !" The Medicine Cat nodded with a look of proud in her orange eyes before shouting "Now SHOO ! Get out of here !" Purring in amusement, Goldeneye left the Medicine Cat's Den before entering the clearing "I hope he won't take it badly.." she thought to herself as she watched her Clan-mates doing their business.

Later, Fireheart came back with Sandstorm and a long-white furred tom with blue eyes who was maybe the famous Cloudpaw. He explained to everyone that he was kidnapped by Two-Legs. Darkstripe , of course, sneered that this kittypet would return to his Two-Legs when times would be harder and the white apprentice growled at him saying he wasn't a kittypet. Fireheart went to talk to Bluestar , which Goldeneye noticed that the Blue Molly almost never left her den , and she was happy to hear that Cloudpaw was allowed to stay.

The White apprentice , when he first saw her, was a bit surprised to see a stranger among them but Fireheart explained to him that she recently joined Thunderclan. Surprisinglu , Cloudpaw quickly warmed up to Goldeneye and the two became good friends. The next day, in the morning , Goldeneye woke up from her nest in the Warrior Den with a smile : it was the day !

It was time for her to tell Fireheart her feelings for him ! Happily, she trotted out of the Warrior Den and purred at the contact of the sun against her White and Honey fur. "Someone seems happy !" a voice echoed near her and turned around to see Fireheart looked at her with amusement in his emerald green eyes . Blushing madly, she looked away earning another purr of amusement from the fire pelted male. Then she looked back at him " Fireheart I...I have something to tell you..." "What is it ?" he asked her with curiosity and she whispered " I don't want anyone to hear what I have to tell you..." "Fine follow me" The Flame-colored Deputy ordered as he led her toward a isolated section of the camp

"Alright what do you want to tell me ?" he asked her with a curious raise-brow "Fireheart I...I love you..." Goldeneye mumbled softy but loud enough for him to hear. He tensed in surprise as his eyes widened in shock . The White and Honey furred Molly still looked down at her paws waiting for Fireheart's response. To be honest, the Deputy was completely taken aback by this but then went deep in thought. Since the first day she joined the Clan, Goldeneye had been nice to everyone but especially to him.

He would be lying if he said that he never found her attractive. He had always admired her since the moment she defended him from Darkstripe. The Flame Colored tom noticed the way she acted around the kits and he couldn't but smile internally every time he saw her interacting with the youngest or oldest members of Thunderclan.

After what seemed like an eternity , the Thunderclan's Deputy cleared his throat "Cinderpelt warned me that two she-cats were after me... I noticed the way Sandstorm acted around me so its wasn't difficult to guess she was one of the two and I was always wondering who was the second one " he began to explain before chuckling "I never thought YOU would be the other one... But I guess I was wrong.."

Goldeneye became uncomfortable and said in a soft tone "I understand if you love Sandstorm more than me...I will leave you alone if you want me too...but I think you should know that...I...I joined Thunderclan to be near you..." At this revelation, Fireheart's eyes widened but he shook his head before mumbling "I see..." then he staid silent and Goldeneye thought he was now a bit angry with her.

"Maybe I should leave you now..." The White and Honey furred Molly whispered as she began to walk away but was stopped by Fireheart "Wait !" when she looked back at him, she was surprised to find him smiling at her " I love you too Goldeneye..." he said in a soft one and it was her turn to have her eyes wide in shock "You do ? But I thought you loved Sandstorm !"

"I DO like Sandstorm but as a close friend nothing more... To tell you the truth, I grew to love you since your first day with us : no matter what everyone thought about you, you always staid the same caring and gentle molly. The way you acted with the kits and Elders was kinda impressive and I couldn't help but admire you for that. As I looked at your beautiful golden eyes and your soft fur , my heart couldn't stop bumping... " The Flame colored Tom explained with some shyness and Goldeneye was still looking at him with surprise , no wanting to interrupt him.

When he finally finished, a long silenced reigned between the two. The White and Honey furred molly's silence was beginning to make Fireheart more nervous that he already were "I'm sorry for not telling you this sooner Goldeneye... But I didn't know how you would react..." Those words warmed up the Molly's big heart and her surprise look turned into one of pure love.

As Fireheart looked at the ground waiting for her answer , Goldeneyes used a paw to gently lifted his head so he could look at her . Then she pressed her head under his chin before both of them purred at the same time "I love you Fireheart ...always~" she said in a sweet honey-tone. The Flame-colored tom purred back as he nuzzled her cheek "I love you too Goldeneye"

As the two nuzzled each other, someone else saw them. Sandstorm was watching the two with nothing but sadness and a bit of jealousy. She loved Fireheart since the moment he saved her near the gorge where Whiteclaw of Riverclan died a long time ago. When Goldeneye joined the clan, the pale ginger molly became suspicious of her , thinking she would try to stole Fireheart from her. She was not totally wrong.

During the time the White and Honey furred molly passed with them; Sandstorm had to admit she was kinda nice. She always treated everyone with respect even her despise her bad behavior toward her. She was bathing herself when she saw Goldeneye and Fireheart talking alone together and she listened carefully. She was a bit sad that Fireheart only loved her as a 'close friend' but she couldn't blame him : when they were still apprentice she was not really nice with him.

It was the least she deserved , she thought to herself and was about to walk away when a familiar voice called her "Sandstorm !" The pale ginger molly turned her head to see Goldeneye approaching her. Strangely Fireheart wasn't in sight. Sandstorm tensed as her former rival stepped closer but made no move to stop her as she looked down in sadness. "Sandstorm ? I know you hear everything and I won't blame you if you hate me ... " The White and Honey furred molly began to say before being stopped by Sandstorm " Its okay I'm not mad and...I'm sorry about how I treated you Goldeneye... I was just jealous.."

"I understand the feeling... I was too when I learned that you loved Fireheart as well... but not anymore...Wanna be friends ?" her question surprised the ginger she-cat as her green eyes locked into Goldeneye's. "Really ? You want to be friend with me ? Someone who treated you badly ?" "Of course ! Whitestorm told me about how you treated Fireheart when you were all apprentice ! If Fireheart was able to forgive , why shouldn't I ?" Goldeneye explained with a smile.

Sandstorm thought about this as she staid silent for a moment before looking back at her former rival with a smile of her own "Yes I would love to be friend with you Goldeneye~" the two she-cats rubbed their heads together before chatting happily like true friends. Their recent bitters was no more , only friendship.

Hours later, Goldeneye was resting in her nest in the Warrior Den. She moved it near Fireheart's so they could sleep together as a now official couple. Of course many congratulated her especially Cinderpelt, Yellowfang, Whitestorm, the Elders and some of the Queens. Sandstorm and her , despise the short time they passed together, became really close and the pale ginger she-cat held no grudge against her formal rival in Love.

Suddenly, Goldeneye felt her mate getting up in a hurry but she was too tired to care but she instantly woke up with fear when she heard Fireheart's voice yelling loudly a simple word. A word that represented something all Clans feared.

"FIRE !"

Note : Yes I know many of you like Firestar x Sandstorm. I like this couple too but we didn't have a lot of stories featuring our dear Fireheart/star with another mate ( beside the stories who featured him with Cinderpelt or Spottedleaf as mate ) so I thought it would be nice to feature another she-cat in his life beside those three and I hope you won't hate me for that.
