A/N: Hey, guys! I'm baaack! This chapter is also a bit short, but a tad creepier (or at least I hope it is and that I did my job right). Check the last chapters for disclaimers and let's go!

Chapter 3

Robert couldn't believe it.

What were the odds, that while on vacation, on an island such as Thasos, to meet the little versions of none other than the Looney Tunes?! And unsupervised at that! It was all such a perfect coincidence, such a wonderful unexpected situation, it almost seemed unreal. But it was as real as it could be. Everything was actually happening, which meant that he had the opportunity he had been dreaming of for years. And he wasn't going to miss it.

Despite being fired from the Warner Bros. Studios three decades ago, he hadn't suffered harsh consequences; and that had been mainly because Avery and the other directors had not pressed any charges against him. The news that he'd be avoiding jail time had filled him with relief and joy. However, these feelings faded when he realized that he couldn't live there anymore. His house back then was much too close to the studios, meaning that he will inevitably come across other employees or even toons from time to time. And what if someone spread rumors about what he'd done at the studio around the neighborhood? That would most likely ruin his life. It then became cristal clear that he had to move out as quickly as possible. Therefore, he lied to his wife about quiting the job on his own, because he wanted to take care of his ill mother. So, his naïve and gullible spouse, immediately agreed to move in the state his mother was in and take care of her. They lived there for thirty years and no one had ever known the real reason he had wanted to leave in the first place.

But, all these years he had wondered what could have been if his plans would've succeeded. His life would have been undoubtedly better if he would have taken over the company and eventually convinced Elmer to be his lover for at least a while. Instead, what he got was a small house in the countryside, an obedient, uninteresting and not so bright wife who had never given him anything other than ordinary cooked meals, a clean house and a kid with no special talents, a job with no opportunities nor a huge salary and a sick mother who still needed care. He might have avoided jail, but his life was still as dull as it could be. And that was exactly the reason why his hate for Elmer, the other Looney Tunes and toons in general, increased as more and more time passed. He began to think of a day when he would get his revenge and finish what he'd began. All these thoughts had seemed unbelievable and unachievable, just dreams conceived by his mind to make the unhappiness easier to bare… until that day.

Right after Buster's introduction, the Tiny Toons had taken a surprisingly huge interest in him, starting to ask too many questions and behaving like he was a very close friend. It was astounding, really, how just a few lies said effortlessly and a kind smile could make a bunch of kids think you weren't a threat. Children were so stupid. Toons were so stupid. And naïve and gullible and innocent. It was so easy that he wanted to laugh, but since that would've been weird, he restrained himself.

"Do you think you can tell who our mentors are, Mr. Taylor?" a female voice rang clear in the air, making the others stop babbling and immediately approve.

"Actually I'm glad you asked, Miss Pink Bunny, since I wanted to do that myself." Robert said cheerfully and looking carefully at the young toons before him, he began guessing.

It was easier than he thought. The little ones resembled the older toons not only in aspect, but in behavior as well. In less than five minutes he had guessed almost everybody, with a little trouble at the ones that didn't really have mentors, like Shirley McLoon or Mary Melody, but in rest it was flawless, leaving them all impressed.

"…And you, young lady" he addressed the last toon, a certain girl with red hair, "must be Elmer Fudd's counterpart, mustn't you? You know, me and the hunter were quite close back in the olden days. He was a good toon, and a handsome one at that. And I see you take right after him, with that pretty face of yours." He smiled at her.

"Thank you- wank you, Mister Robert Sir!" She returned the smile with a small giggle.

Robert had to use all his willpower to not let the fascination he felt show on his face. She looked and acted exactly like her inspiration! If a little more girly and childish, but the resemblance was clear. She had the same round face, the same plump cheeks, the same nose, the same ellipsoid shaped eyes (only hers were chocolate brown instead of bright blue) and overall the same appearance as Elmer, but smaller and with carrot orange hair. It was perfection.

Realizing that staring down at her might raise a few eyebrows, he quickly recomposed himself and cleared his throat.

"What was your name again, little girl?"

"Elmyra. Elmyra Duff." With that she did a little curtsey.

Elmyra. Even her name was like her mentor's.

"So, guys," he said to all toons "now that we know each other, wanna play some games? Maybe with the ball? After all, Buster and Monty didn't go after it for nothing." He joked.

The kids cheered and followed the adult to the volleyball net.
