Author's Note: To anybody who's read this story, thank you for reading it. Even though there are no reviews yet, I still appreciate everything. As some of you know, I did change the name of the title from "Find Me" to "For the Love of a Daughter," because I felt that this story suited it a lot more. Anyways, I hope you enjoy chapter three!

It had been two weeks since Sabrina started to temporarily live with the Sheffield family. She had to admit, the things that went on in that house were.. interesting to say the very least. From meeting Fran's mother and grandmother, to seeing the kids act like complete lunatics with their nanny.. it was like a zoo in this house. But she did remind herself every day that she needed to keep her composure there. She was on Broadway, and the show was opening in four months. All she needed to do was act natural and move on with her life.

Every day, she'd wake up early for rehearsals and spend all day at the theater. She would get back to the house later that night, so she was normally missing what the family was doing that day. She was also missing the meetings Mr. Sheffield and Miss Babcock were discussing throughout the day. However, today was different. The cast of West Side Story had the day off, so Sabrina decided to plan on spending the day relaxing.. or at least that's what she thought she was going to do.

Downstairs in the dining room, the Sheffield family and Fran all sat together to have breakfast, with Fran sporting her usual bathrobe and slippers. "Oh kids, I'm so excited to go to the ball game today. But more importantly, Sabrina's got the day off, so she gets to have breakfast with us!" She said giddily before turning to Grace, who was sitting next to her. "Now move honey. Sabrina's sitting next to me."

Grace looked up at Fran and furrowed her eyebrows, confused. "But Fran, this is my seat. I always sit here," she said trying to defend herself.

"Am I losing you here? We have a celebrity having breakfast with us, and I always call first dibs on sitting next to them. Besides, we're not putting her next to Brighton," Fran said to Grace looking over at Brighton who perked up.

"Wait, she's not sitting next to me? Why do you have to ruin everything?" Brighton pouted. He shook his head and continued to eat his breakfast.

"You asked her for a night cap!" Fran reminded him. "Go sit next to your brother," she added to Grace. Grace sighed and took her plate moving to the other side of the table where she reluctantly made her place again.

Maxwell noticed how Fran was trying to suck up to the young star before she even arrived and he huffed. "Miss Fine, you know the poor girl has had a rough first couple of weeks here, so I expect you to not startle her when she comes downstairs. She's a human being just like the rest of us."

"I suppose you're right, Mr. Sheffield. Don't worry. I'm not gonna startle her," Fran reassured him with a smile.

Just then, Niles and Sabrina entered the room. It was clear that Sabrina was very exhausted and mentally drained from the past couple of weeks. She had been working hard during the course of rehearsals. When she entered the dining room, Fran took out her camera and shouted, "Smile!" As the flash went off, the young pop star let out a scream and covered her eyes when the flash blinded her temporarily. "Are you crazy?! What are you trying to do? Blind me?!" Sabrina shouted.

"Miss Fine! The poor girl just woke up!" Maxwell shouted as he looked over at the startled girl who went to cling to Niles after that ordeal.

"I'm sorry.. force of habit.." Fran apologized as she slowly took her seat and moved her camera away.

"It's over, Miss Sabrina. Don't worry," Niles told her. She peered away from his shoulder and sighed in relief.

"Come sit by me!" Fran chirped patting the seat next to her. Sabrina's eyes widened in horror. That woman was the last person she wanted to sit beside. She sighed in defeat and took her seat beside Fran. "So.. Sabrina what are you doing on your day off?"

The brunette girl took a bite out of her breakfast and then shrugged. "Relaxing. I was planning on booking a spa appointment for today," she replied glumly. Sabrina was still tired and wasn't really alert, unlike the nanny who was sitting next to her.

"Oh who needs that?" Fran asked smacking her shoulder playfully. "I'm taking Maggie, Brighton, and Gracie to the baseball game later. Maybe you should come with us!"

Sabrina looked up at the big haired yenta nervously and then shook her head. "Oh no.. no no no. I need a day to relax from rehearsals," she declined. She couldn't possibly stand to miss her day off.

"She should come! I think it would make the outing more fun," Maggie suggested looking at the girl. She and Sabrina were about the same age, so it would be a chance for her to get to know her as a friend.

"Listen, that's very sweet of you to say, but I-" Sabrina tried to speak but was interrupted.

"She can walk with me just in case I need a bathroom break," Gracie suggested. "There's too many people over there, and you can get lost easily. Reminds me of those dreams I used to have when I went to therapy."

"Little girl, I'm not-" Sabrina tried to speak up again, but her thoughts were interrupted.

"You know, it wouldn't be so bad," Brighton said before leaning in to speak to Sabrina. "If you're looking for a spa day partner, I'm free after school the next couple of days. I can give a mean neck massage," he added with a wink.

"You wish, you little twerp," Sabrina replied rolling her eyes in disgust and drinking her coffee.

"You know, Miss Fine, I think taking Sabrina would be a great idea," Maxwell said after the banter between her and the other kids. Sabrina dropped her silverware looking over at Maxwell with pleading eyes. "It would give her an opportunity to get to know you and the kids well, since she's spending the next few months with us."

Sabrina was not having it. The last thing she wanted to do was spend the entire day with Fran. In fact, she wasn't liking where she was staying to begin with. "Mr. Sheffield, with all due respect, I don't think this is very ne-"

"I told you it was a great idea! See this is why you need to take up my ideas more. Remember, I'm your right arm," Fran nudged Maxwell reassuringly. She then looked back at Sabrina who was rubbing her temples exasperatedly. "Oh come on, honey, it will be fun! We'll get to sit in the front row, watch some of the players get into brawls, eat hot dogs, and get beer poured on by other spectators! It'll be a blast!"

The thought of all of those things combined into one made Sabrina cringe to her core. She looked up at Nanny Fine and grimaced at what she was talking about. "I think I'm going to be ill," she responded.

The next few hours consisted of nothing but chaos. First, it started with the ride there, where the nasal nanny and the kids blasted the radio on high volume. Sabrina already had a headache from the day prior, so she spent the car ride rubbing her temples trying to relieve the pain. Oh how she wished she would've put her foot down earlier. Next, they had gotten to the game, and Fran kept questioning why Sabrina had to wear sunglasses, a wig, and a cap. Explaining to the nanny why she had to don a disguise multiple times just made her headache worse. She couldn't risk fans recognizing her in public, especially in a large stadium crowded with spectators.

It was the start of the fourth inning, and Fran, Sabrina, and the kids all sat by each other. Seeing the home batter hit another home run made the spectators groan in frustration. Brighton threw his hands up in the air and threw his glove down. "Man this sucks! I've been sitting here waiting for a foul ball for an hour now," he said.

Maggie looked over at Brighton and then quipped, "You know it's so funny, because this is the same way you try to pick up girls." She, Gracie, and Fran started to laugh at her joke.

"Oh come on, it's not like you haven't tripped over your own left foot and stuffed your bra," Brighton snapped back at his sister. He chuckled to himself over what he said, which made Maggie shoot him a glare.

"I gotta go to the bathroom," Grace said after a moment passed tapping her little feet anxiously.

Fran then turned to Sabrina who was trying to stay within her zone. "Sabrina, Gracie's gotta go again," she told the young pop star in disguise.

"Didn't you just go ten minutes ago?" Sabrina asked the youngest Sheffield annoyed.

"Yeah, but this soda goes down quick. My bladder's the size of a dime!" Grace cried worriedly.

Fran then sighed and then turned over to Maggie. "Maggie, go take your sister to the bathroom. Sabrina hasn't gotten to see the game as much," she said. Maggie stood up and took Grace's hand heading out to the restrooms. Fran then looked over at Sabrina, who sat there deadpanned, not being phased by the game one bit. "Sabrina, aren't you having fun, honey? Do you want anything to eat? What do you want? I'll get you anything," Fran said reassuringly.

Without moving a muscle, Sabrina simply replied, "Get me a taxi so I can get out of here."

"Oh sweetie, I'm sure you wanna be at the spa or at home, but trust me. We haven't gotten to the best part of the game. You just gotta enjoy the moment.. you know, kind of like when you're onstage. You know one time, my cousin Jerry went out with a couple of his buddies to drink and he was the slum of the party. He then saw this married couple fighting because the husband cheated and he just encouraged them even more. So then the crowd started to cheer his name over and over again," Fran said explaining one of her tall tale family stories.

Sabrina furrowed her eyebrows hearing that story. The person sounded familiar. "Jerry Springer?" She asked wondering who she was talking about.

"No, Jerry Schiskowitz," Fran responded linking her cousin to her Jewish heritage. She then noticed a hot dog vendor walk down the steps of the stadium selling hot dogs to all of the spectators. "Ooh ooh! I'll take four!" Fran chimed as she skidded over to the vendor to pay and take the hot dogs. She then passed three of them to Maggie, Brighton, and Grace. "Here Sabrina, you look hungry, so I got you a hot dog," Fran said compassionately trying to give it to her.

Sabrina looked over at her and didn't budge. "I'm not hungry," she simply stated.

"But you gotta eat. You barely touched your breakfast this morning. Be grateful that I got you this, because if Ma was here, all of us would be famished.. and I'm not just talking about us as a group," Fran warned.

Even though she kept on offering, Sabrina shook her head. "I think the headache I have ruined my appetite," she said shrugging her shoulders.

"But honey, you gotta eat!" Fran then proceeded to unwrap the foiled hot dog and then grabbed some ketchup and mustard, lathering the food with it. "What do you like? Ketchup? Mustard? Both? I know I like both on my dog," Fran said as she tried to feed the girl. The hot dog ended up smushing her face and some sauce dripped on her blouse. Sabrina immediately pushed the food away.

"I told you I wasn't hungry!" Sabrina retorted angrily and tried to wipe the stain that ruined her expensive blouse.

"Well fine! I guess I'll have it," Fran replied and shrugged as she began to eat.

A moment passed and then the crowd started to gasp as some of the spectators stood up. "Look! Foul ball!" Grace shouted as she pointed at the ball in the sky that was heading towards them.

"It's coming at us!" Maggie excitedly shouted as the spectators reached up in the air for it.

Brighton immediately saw his chance and stood up on one of the seats raising his gloved hand in the air. "I got it! I got it!" At the same time, Sabrina temporarily took off her sunglasses to get a better view of the ball. Seeing that the ball was headed towards where Sabrina was standing, Brighton waved his gloved hand again, this time whacking Sabrina's eye in the process. He was still able to victoriously catch the ball.

"Ow!" She cried covering her eye and putting her sunglasses back on. She rubbed her bad eye through her glasses and groaned in pain, while some of the crowd cheered for Brighton catching the ball. One spectator in particular was holding a red solo cup filled with beer, which accidentally poured all over Sabrina's head and seeped down her face and blouse. She let out a scream feeling the sticky alcohol hit her face and body.

"Hey Sabrina got the beer pour!" Fran chimed as the crowd around her started to laugh. Sabrina seethed feeling tears coming through her eyes and immediately started to dash up the stairs angrily. Seeing some people that were crowding her, she immediately started to maneuver herself through them.

"Move it!" Sabrina screamed as she dashed away from the Sheffield clan and into the concession and restroom area of the stadium.

Fran and the kids watched as the pop star ran away from them. She got worried and then looked over at the kids. "Maggie, watch your brother and sister for a second. I'll be right back," Fran said as she watched the eldest Sheffield child comply. She then dashed up the steps to try and find Sabrina. "Sabrina! Sab, honey!" Fran called out to the girl. The crowd made it almost impossible to find her. She continued to walk through the corridors up until she spotted Sabrina weakly trying to tend to her eye. "There you are! You have me worried sick," Fran said as she reached out her hand to touch the girl's shoulder.

"I don't wanna talk to you!" Sabrina coldly replied swatting the nanny's hand away from her shoulder.

"Please, Sabrina. I know you're upset about not having your relaxation, but you gotta admit that beer spill was fun, huh?" Fran nudged her and let out her signature laugh. "Last time that happened to me was when my great aunt B-"

"SHUT UP!" Sabrina screamed at the nanny turning around. She took off her sunglasses and revealed her bruised eye caused by Brighton's gloved hand catching the baseball.

"Boy do you got some nerve to scream at me like that. Mr. Sheffield will not be happy when I tell him what happened here," Fran said putting her hands on her hips defensively.

"Oh please, you're not my mother," Sabrina retorted. "Listen, Nanny Fine, today was supposed to be my day off to relax. Do you know how hard I worked the past couple of weeks for this production? I was at the theater from dusk till dawn working my ass off to the point where I came back physically and mentally exhausted. Is it bad that all I wanted to do today was sit on the couch, read a good book, get a good back massage, draw a hot bath, drink a rosé, or even take a nap? I never get that kind of time as a celebrity, and clearly.." Sabrina poked the nanny in the chest. "..you have no idea what it's like to be burnt out! So why don't you take your happy little short-skirted ass back to the stadium, take that cheap disgusting hot dog, and shove it right up your-"

At that moment, Fran reached for the girl's wig and yanked it off of her. This immediately exposed the girl's true identity as a celebrity. "Look everybody! It's Sabrina Taylor!" Fran shouted as she started to dash away with the wig. Soon, the spectators of the stadium started to scream and rush towards the young pop star whose eyes widened in fear. She could see cameras flashing everywhere and people crowding her near to the point of suffocation.

Fran ran to find the kids, who looked at the scene in fear. Maggie walked over to her and asked, "What's going on?"

"Kids, you saw nothing. Now let's get out of here!" Fran said as she led Maggie, Brighton, and Grace out of the stadium, leaving Sabrina still being trampled by her fans that were still crowding her.

About a half hour later, Fran and the Sheffield children arrived back at the house. The door opened and Fran motioned the children to go back upstairs seeing Maxwell and CC in the living room discussing their plans for the musical together. Seeing the crowd walk in, Maxwell looked up at Fran who was trying to tiptoe her way upstairs without getting caught.

"Miss Fine, you're back from the ball game early," Maxwell said as he walked up to Fran who stopped her tracks as she was walking up the stairs.

"Oh. Yeah. Mr. Sheffield, Gracie doesn't feel well. We all had hot dogs and one thing led to another with the amount of soda she drank.. chunks were blown everywhere!" Fran exaggerated. She tried to cover up the truth with that story hoping that Maxwell wouldn't notice.

"Oh dear, I should probably go check up on Gracie to see if she's alright," Maxwell said as he tried to walk up the stairs. Fran blocked the stairway immediately when he got closer to her.

"No! I can take care of her," Fran blurted out nervously. "I got this Jewish home remedy Ma gave me to help settle her stomach, so you don't have to worry your pretty little British head," Fran added as she patted his head lightly. "Anyways, I gotta go!"

As Fran started back up for the stairs, CC walked towards the end of the stairwell crossing her arms. "Nanny Fine, where's Sabrina?" She asked staring her down.

Fran's eyes widened hearing CC's question. She knew if she said anything, she'd be in big trouble. Well, nonetheless, she would be in trouble because Sabrina was bound to return soon enough. "Uh... who?" Fran asked pretending not to know what the blonde was talking about.

"You know.. our lead actress that we left in the care of your air-headed hands," CC snapped.

Fran took a moment to think of a good lie to tell Maxwell and CC as they clearly weren't pleased with her reaction. "Um... she's... in the limo.. on the phone with... her cat back in LA," Fran said snapping her fingers and sighing in slight relief. "Okay bye," she added as she tried to start up the stairs again. However, she didn't make it far due to Maxwell grabbing her by the wrist and dragging her back downstairs. He brought her back down in front of the two producers, who were clearly irate.

"Miss Fine. I just don't understand why every time I give you a task you fail to live up to my expectations. Are you asking me for unemployment?" Maxwell asked Fran angrily. "Now you're going to tell me where the girl is or else I will grant that unemployment request immediately!"

"Okay, okay," Fran panicked as she took a deep breath. "Well.. you see.. she and I don't technically see eye to eye... literally. So uh... I figured after she rambled about how she was begging to relax, I ripped off her wig and took the kids and dashed outta there! You should've seen how many people trampled all over that poor girl... if that helps..?" The big-haired nanny shrugged and grinned nervously watching both Maxwell and CC's faces turn red from fury.

"You left Sabrina alone!? Without a bodyguard!?" Maxwell shouted at Fran as she started to step away from him further into the living room. "Do you have any idea what could've happened to her? She could be knocked out, hospitalized, dead, anything out of the above!"

"Now, now, Mr. Sheffield, let's not get too hasty. I'm sure Sabrina's got connections for someone to come and get her," Fran pleaded nervously as Maxwell continued to follow her.

"If my star doesn't walk through this front door in five seconds, you will be walking out the door in one," Maxwell said as he found Fran backed up against the wall. He stopped his tracks before he heard his front door open. He turned around and saw Niles come in with his coat partially torn. "Niles? What the devil happened to you?"

"I was attacked by a rambunctious pack of spectators not twenty minutes ago," the butler replied taking off his coat and leaving the front door open. "Miss Fine, I believe you left this in the lost and found section." With those words, Sabrina slowly limped in the house. She wore a long tan coat and kept her glasses on. Her hair was a complete mess and she was shaking from the ordeal. She groaned in pain finally reaching the foyer floor.

Seeing this poor girl in pain, CC's eyes widened. She remembered their first meeting and how she thought the two had formed a bond indirectly, but seeing her now, she felt the instinctive need to protect her. "Sabrina!" she cried out walking towards her and placing her hands on the girl's shoulders. "Oh my god, what on earth happened to you? Come on, take off your glasses," she added. She tried to reach for them but Sabrina flinched.

"N-No.. I'm fine.." the girl hesitated weakly. She felt much more comfortable around CC, even though she didn't want to admit it up front. The older woman could see a tear roll down the girl's cheek. After a moment, CC finally removed Sabrina's glasses only to find her left eye bruised up. She gasped and dropped the glasses. "I didn't want you to see that.." Sabrina mumbled. She took a moment to muster up the courage to speak to Maxwell. "Mr. Sheffield, after today, I've realized that staying here was a big mistake. If it wasn't for your butler, I would've been dead."

Maxwell stared at the girl wide-eyed seeing how in pain she was. "My god, Sabrina. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Listen, why don't we give you another day off.. no forget it, another week off! You can go anywhere you want and take off as much time as you need," he said almost pleading. He was praying that the events with the nanny didn't change the girl's mind.

"You can save it. What I want is new living arrangements. Either somebody here finds me a hotel or somewhere to stay, or I'm out!" Sabrina demanded. Maxwell was going to add another thing, and Sabrina stared him down. "I refuse to stay in a careless and chaotic environment when I'm busting my rear end even on my days off. I don't trust that good for nothing excuse of a nanny you've hired. Here's my deal: you find me another place to live or I quit!"

There was a brief moment of silence that filled the room. Nobody moved a muscle, until CC finally did. She easily noticed the physical and mental pain this girl was feeling, and her protective urges took over once again. She moved to embrace the girl in her arms, which made Sabrina sob uncontrollably. Sabrina returned the hug and buried her face in the woman's blazer. Everybody else stared at CC like she was crazy. They had never seen her care for a young child, lady, or man in any way in their lives. CC could barely remember the names of Maxwell's children, so to see her like this with Sabrina was rare. But CC didn't care, she had a goal, and that was to make sure Sabrina was safe. "Sweetie, look at me," she said to Sabrina who sniffled looking up at the blonde. CC reached to dry her tears with her thumbs gently knowing one of Sabrina's eyes was bruised. "Listen, I will let you stay with me, okay? I may not have enough room, but I'll make sure that you have a safe and quiet environment. I'll also give you two weeks off of rehearsals, a little studio for the music, spa treatments, and all the freedom from fans that you need. Is there anything else that you want?" she asked soothingly.

Sabrina looked over at the brunette nanny grimacing at her before she looked back up at CC with puppy dog eyes. "I want her to die a slow and painful death."

CC's eyes widened in amusement. The only person she ever heard that come out of anyone's mouth was... well... her own. She smirked and wrapped an arm around her. "Hmm.. that could be arranged. Anything else?" she asked.

Sabrina matched the woman's smirk and added, "If you're gonna do the deed, make sure I watch."

CC's jaw dropped excitedly hearing that. She took the girl's hand and then started to lead her away from the room. "Oh, you and I are going to get along great! Come on, we have plans to make, my dear. Belvedere, pack her bags. She's staying with me," CC said to Niles. Sabrina held onto CC's hand as she followed her. She then turned to Maxwell and said, "You know Mr. Sheffield, I think I'm gonna stay in the play. I like her!" Soon, CC and Sabrina disappeared into the hallway for a while.

About a few hours later, it was time for CC and Sabrina to head back to the penthouse. Fran was standing in the foyer watching as Niles took the last of Sabrina's bags into the limo. Since he had the night off, Maxwell hired another chauffeur to take care of the two women. When Niles came back, Fran walked towards him.

"Boy Niles, I tell ya, that girl has nerves of steel wanting to stay with Miss Babcock," Fran said quietly so the whole household wouldn't hear. "It's like Simba leaving Mufasa for Scar."

"No, I think Miss Sabrina's sanity isn't as top notch as you think. She just agreed to an assisted homicide a couple of hours ago," Niles said shaking his head. "It's almost like she's the woman's carbon copy, minus the hair."

"You're telling me! Did you know she called me Nanny Fine at the ball game?" Fran asked putting her hands on her hips.

"Did you know she bribed me 500 to drink alcohol while she's still underage?" Niles added with a chuckle showing off the cash to Fran. "Maybe it is best if she stays with her. At least they can plan their evil schemes outside of the house... oh god, I feel an apocalypse coming.."

Just as Niles finished, CC walked back out into the foyer almost ready to leave for the day. "Well, Tweedledum and Tweedle-dumber, I won't be seeing any of you for the rest of the week. Looks like I've booked myself completely. Don't miss me too much," she said with a smile.

Niles quipped, "And we're supposed to be disappointed... why?"

CC rolled her eyes and grabbed her clutch bag holding it tightly. "Now that I'm Sabrina's sole caretaker, I feel like she needs to grow accustomed to her new living environment. After the little incident at the ball game today, she needs someone who can understand her needs, unlike some people who just expose celebrities to let them get trampled on. Poor girl was in a stampede because of you!" At that, she glanced at Fran.

"You know, Miss Babcock, it really surprises me that you have the tendency to care for Sabrina when you barely care for Max's own kids," Fran pointed out.

"I don't give a rat's ass about them!" CC scoffed and chuckled to herself. "Anyway, I personally think having Sabrina over would be great for me. I hate living alone as it is. Plus, I feel like we already get along great!"

Just as she said that, Sabrina came through the living room. She strode towards the front door holding her clutch bag, donning her sunglasses and coat from earlier. Her hair was no longer a tattered mess and she wasn't limping either. As she walked past the three, Fran said, "Bye Sabrina. It was so nice to see you again."

"Eat dirt, Nanny Fine," Sabrina coldly said as she stomped past Fran and out the door. CC watched the girl and smiled proudly placing her free hand on her chest. "Isn't she the sweetest?" CC asked as Niles put her jacket on for her.

"Oh sure, she's a real ray of sunshine," Fran replied with a fake smile, but then turned to Niles and grimaced at the comment CC made about the pop star. "Tell Maxwell he won't see me for the next four to five days. If he needs anything, he knows what to do," CC said as she dashed her way out of the house and made her way to the limo where Sabrina was waiting.

Once the two were safely in the limo, CC gave her address to the chauffeur. Sabrina smiled up at her and said, "Thanks for taking me out of there. I probably wouldn't have been able to handle another day with that crazy woman."

CC chuckled and replied, "If you can't handle another day, let alone two weeks, try seeing her every day barge into Maxwell's office during the most inconvenient times of the day."

"Oh god, just the thought of that makes me wanna dri-" Sabrina stopped her tracks watching CC's demeanor change. Even though that had flown with bribing Niles, she respected CC too much to act rebellious around her.

"Thanks for holding your tongue, because you would've been in big trouble, missy," CC warned. She knew if she had caught Sabrina with alcohol, she would've been out of the production altogether.

A moment of silence passed between them before Sabrina spoke up again. "You know, I don't get it," she started out. "People are always saying you're so cold-hearted and cruel.. and they call you a witch. I'm just so confused.. you offered to let me stay with you and you've been nothing but nice to me this whole time. I don't get why people would say such horrible things about you."

Hearing those comments warmed CC's heart. She didn't expect the young woman to take such a blow to the Bitch of Broadway herself. All she could do was shrug. "I don't get it either," she replied before looking over at her. "But then again, I don't let other people's opinions about me drag me down. I do have to admit though, I'm not a fan of children.. hence why I don't exactly get along with Maxwell's children.. but you.." she stopped glancing at Sabrina who devoted her full attention to the Broadway producer. "You're different. I feel like we have this connection, and I can't understand why."

Sabrina couldn't help but joke around a little bit. "Was it because I agreed to assisted homicide?" She asked, which made them both laugh at the same time. CC shook her head. "No, although that does kind of count for it," CC replied but then turned serious again. "No it's.. it's something else I can't pinpoint. One of these days I'll figure it out."

The younger woman could feel herself grow tired as her eyes started to droop. She eventually found herself leaning against CC's shoulder and falling asleep temporarily. CC didn't take notice until she looked over at how comfortable she was. Normally, she would've pushed her off, but this time, she didn't budge. She thought it was quite sweet that the girl thought so fondly of her. She couldn't help but smile softly at the sight beside her. The fact that Sabrina was comfortable was all she ever needed. After the ordeal, it was her biggest accomplishment today.

Soon enough, they reached CC's Park Avenue penthouse, and it was time to exit the limo. CC nudged the girl awake softly and Sabrina reluctantly woke up so she could go inside. She wrapped her arm around the girl knowing that Sabrina would easily pass out if she stood alone. After a couple of minutes, the two reached her penthouse and Sabrina's eyes widened. "Wow.." she whispered marveled at the sight before her. "Now this is my kind of element!" She then took notice of the little dog that had started to wag its tail and jump around Sabrina. "Awww, hi! You're so cute! Who is this little guy?" She asked CC picking him up.

"That's my little Chester," CC said as she watched the dog lick Sabrina's face excitedly. That elicited giggles from the younger woman before she put him back on the floor. "Just so you know, the guest room is still kind of under construction, so don't mind the boxes everywhere. I haven't gotten the chance to rearrange anything ever since I took up more space here."

"Oh don't worry. I don't mind where I sleep. What matters is that I won't hear that woman's boisterous voice in the middle of the night anymore," Sabrina said with relief. "I better go freshen up for bed. This whole day left me exhausted."

"I get it, sweetheart. Go right ahead.. I probably should too while we're at it," CC replied as they both headed in separate directions.

After a while, CC was finally ready to head to bed. She waited to see if Sabrina had already made it, but it seemed like she wasn't coming out. "Did you fall asleep already?" CC asked walking over to the guest room. No answer came from Sabrina, but she was curious as to what happened. She opened the guest room door to see that Sabrina hadn't occupied that room, but CC's own room instead. "Oh gosh.." she whispered before she walked to her room. "Sabrina, honey, this is not..." CC stopped her tracks and looked at the girl who had fallen asleep in her bed. "...the guest room."

Now that she saw how peaceful Sabrina was, CC couldn't possibly disturb the girl's sleep. She knew how angry she was when anybody tried to wake her up at any point in time, so it was best to keep her boundaries. However, she walked towards her and sat down on the bed. She took notice of the locket that was around the girl's neck and smiled. It turned out that CC had her own locket designed the same way and it was gold as well. She pulled it out of her shirt and held it close to her. "You're going to be the death of me... and I mean it in the nicest possible way," she whispered to her before standing up. "Goodnight.." CC then walked out and headed towards the guest room where she would have to settle for the night.
