Hello everyone and welcome back to SCS: Re;Birth, but much like normal disclaimers have to be shown. I don't own Hyperdimension Neptunia as it belongs to Idea Factory and Compile Heart. I only own this plot, the characters Nyx, Black Sister Nyx, Bushi, Atlus, Ubi, and Ari alongside the original monsters Gorethian, and Bad End Dogoo. =Re;Birth=
Noire was looking Nyx over for scratches, bruises, and anything else as the girl just stood there pouting. K-Sha was off to the side letting out a sigh of relief as only a few hours ago she believed that she had possibly accidently killed the young CPU candidate. Regretablly her target had gotten away, but K-Sha promised the next time she found it she'd take it out.
"I'm fine sis. Really." Nyx says as Noire gave the girl a glare.
"So you say, but don't blame me for being worried. What were you two even thinking?!" She says backing away at the end hands on her hips as she glared at the two.
K-Sha sighed "This is all my fault Noire. I thought I could teach her how to fight and take care of herself. I wasn't thinking..." K-Sha started.
Noire glared "Exactly. You weren't thinking! Nyx is barely over a week old. She doesn't need..." Noire started.
"I asked her!" Nyx interrupted stopping them as Noire turned to her.
"I asked K-Sha to take me out and train me. Your already pretty busy, and I didn't want to bother you so..." Nyx lied glancing towards K-Sha before sucking in a breath.
"I thought since she seemed like a friend she could help me. Neither of us thought to tell you, but I just got so excited and insisted on leaving. I'm sorry." Nyx finished looking down.
Noire bit her lip hearing this and sighed "Fine I'll let it slide this time, but next time tell me even if I'm busy." Noire says and Nyx nods.
K-Sha let's out a giggle before looking towards Nyx then looking at Noire "Noire would it be alright if I took your sister out shopping for a bit?" She asked.
Noire smiles "Of course. Just don't go getting her anything that's in Vert's taste." She says and turns while Nyx looked confused at the mention of Vert.
"If either of you need me..." Noire started as Nyx pouts.
"Can't you come along sis?" Nyx asked interrupting her.
Noire sighed and looked back "Look Nyx I'm the CPU. I've got to work hard to keep our nation running and respectable. If I slack off then I'd be no better than Neptune. I don't want to so heavily rely on you as your still so young." Noire told her and Nyx bit her lip looking away.
"But...but I want to be able to help." She whispered so low that only K-Sha picked up on it. Though reluctant Nyx nods in understanding as Noire took off towards her office yet again telling them to call her if they need her.
K-Sha puts a hand on the girl's shoulder "Umm...why did you lie for me Nyx?" K-Sha asked.
Nyx looked at her "Well...your my big sister's friend. Sis doesn't seem like she has many, and I get the feeling she'd be disappointed if she knew what really happened." Nyx says before shaking her head.
"You don't deserve it. I was also pretty excited to get out and learn from you so I wasn't fully lying." she added on.
K-Sha smiles a bit "You know you shouldn't lie, but thank you. How about we tell her after our little trip out?" K-Sha suggested winking at Nyx.
Nyx smiles and nods "Right!" She agreed, and the two girls left the basilicom.
The rest of the afternoon the two spent going to a few boutiques and Nyx bought herself a few new outfits to add to her current one's.
The first was a schoolgirl like uniform. It had a black undershirt with red linings and markings. Over it was a double button up black military style jacket with a thick white section down the middle and white cuffs white it also had deep red lining all around the jacket and down the sleeves. It also included a short green skirt, and ankle high boots with black leggings included. A gold VII was stitched on the upper left side of the chest and on the back near the neckline. Accessories included a pair of purple feathered ribbon hairclips.
The second outfit she picked out was more fun and had an adventurous feel to it. She wore a deep blue short sleeved top with yellow triming around the neckline, and an adjustable zipper that went just below her chest. There was a large pocket down around the stomach while orange stars adorned each sleeve. She wore a orange skirt that was inches above her kneecaps while she wore thick white gloves on her hands. She wore knee high white socks while her shoes were primairly the same deep blue with white highlights and soles while orange stars adorned the sides. Her main accessory with this outfit was a set of silver rimmed clear tinted goggles strapped to a blue bandanna.
The two were headed back towards the basilicom "Thank you for spending time with me K-Sha! I love the outfits." Nyx says as she carried her bags.
"Oh it's no problem, but still...this should be something your sister should be doing with you." K-Sha says and saw Nyx look down.
"I...I think I made her upset. I did almost set fire to the basilicom this morning." Nyx says sighing.
K-Sha bit her lip "Should I tell her? I mean...she's going to find out sooner or later about what happened to Uni." K-Sha thought as she knew the real reason for Noire working herself so hard.
"...No. It's not my secret to share, but perhaps me and a few others should nip this in the bud." K-Sha thought to herself.
Nyx double checked if everything was in her bags as they soon enough arrived at the basilicom. Nyx ran towards the entrance then turned around and waves at K-Sha before running in while K-Sha waves back.
After she goes in K-Sha takes out her phone and sent a mass message to a few individuals "We need to talk about Noire. Meet up at the usual place?" It read as a few different responses came all agreeing and K-Sha headed towards the meeting spot.
=Re;Birth=
Nyx was now in her room putting away her few new outfits along the outfit that Neptune had gifted her. There was also some other small things in the room which primarily included the stuff that Neptune and Nepgear had gotten her during her week in Planeptune.
Other than that the room was pretty bare as minus the bed and a few other things. Nyx sat down and noticed the time "Oh it's almost time for dinner. Maybe I should fix Noire something?" Nyx says to herself before nodding.
Heading for the kitchen, and deciding she didn't want to have a repeat of that morning she just found something to put in the microwave. After it was fixed Nyx headed for Noire's office and walked in.
Noire was busy as usual as Nyx approached her "Got some dinner for you sis!" Nyx chirps and Noire jumped.
"Oh Nyx. Umm...thanks. Just set it down and please leave. I'm in the middle of something." Noire says and Nyx pouts.
She glanced over what it was that Noire was working on and was confused "Umm...what exactly are you working on?" Nyx asked.
Noire glanced over to her "It's guild related." Noire says.
"But you've been working all day. Don't you think you should stop?" Nyx asked as Noire bit her lip in slight annoyance.
"I'm doing fine. Just have some fun and get to know your home better." Noire says flatly.
"I have been. But sis you should..." Nyx started and Noire shoots her a glare.
"I don't need your opinion Nyx. I can handle this on my own." She hissed and Nyx gulped nodding.
Nyx turned and walked out holding back tears as she wondered what she did to make Noire angry at her. Noire on the other hand returned attention to her work for a moment then realized what she did and bangs her head on her desk "Stupid! Ugh...Nice going Noire. Snap at your very sensitive little sister." Norie muttered.
"Uni was never this sensitive. Then again...Nyx isn't Uni." Noire thought and sighed getting up and heading to Nyx's room.
She was about to knock on the door when she her sniffling from inside. Noire opens the door slightly and the sight was enough to nearly make her cry. Nyx was pretty much curled in on herself on her bed with her blanket wrapped around her. She looked to be cradling herself as she rocked back and forth.
Noire silently opened the door then closed it behind her as she walked over to her sister and pulled her into a hug "I'm sorry. I didn't mean what I said." Noire told her in a whisper holding back a few tears.
Nyx cried into her shoulder and Noire did her best to comfort her. It lasted for minutes until Nyx went silent, and a few minutes more till Noire realized that Nyx had fallen asleep as she heard the light snores. She laid the girl down, and deciding that her work can wait she laid down to rest with Nyx.
=Re;Birth=
Before Nyx would wake Noire got up and headed out to make breakfast, but was surprised to see that K-Sha was there along with Neptune. While Noire was surprised at this she wondered why they were there.
"What are you both doing here?" She asked as Neptune rubbed her head.
"Funny thing about that. You see K-Sha kind of alerted me and a few others to the situation going on, and well...the two of us decided to talk to you." Neptune told her.
Noire winced having a feeling this had to do with Nyx "...I-I'm trying you know." Noire muttered.
K-Sha grabbed her hand and had Noire sit down "We know you are Noire, but we also know your still mourning over Uni." K-Sha says giving her a worried look.
Noire looked down at this "And perhaps your unintentionally trying to distance yourself from Nyx." Neptune added on.
Noire's mind went back to the previous day "I...I can't...deny that..." Noire muttered as she knew why she was having such trouble with Nyx, and it was because she still can't get over losing Uni.
Neptune looks to K-Sha and the girl nods as Neptune takes in a breath before letting it out "Noire. Me, K-Sha, and a few of the others think that you need to take a break." She told her.
"WHAT?!" Noire exclaimed annoyed, but quickly calmed herself and glanced back hoping that Nyx hadn't been woken up by her yell.
K-sha puts a hand to her chest sighing "Noire we wouldn't be suggesting this if we didn't think it was absolutely needed. It's what you need, and it's something you can take your sister on." K-Sha says.
"B-B-But who will run Lastation while I'm gone? I mean I'm confident that the guild is competent enough to run it, but I'd be more comfortable if someone could help direct them." Noire says.
Neptune gives a cheeky grin "No worries about that Noire. We got in touch with a certain law firm, and it's head decided to come and help. After all she is your oracle." Neptune says.
Noire was both surprised and relieved to hear this "That's...that's good. Still I don't like this." Noire tells them both.
"Sorry Noire, but it's what's best for you and Nyx." K-Sha tells her.
Noire sighed "Alright, but what should we do? I mean...I don't know what I can do with Nyx." She says unsure.
"Well...you could always take Nyx on a grand tour of Gamindustri. Show her the sights of the other nations, and even teach her some CPU basics." Neptune suggested as K-Sha nods in agreement.
"Some training could be good for you both. A chance to spar is also a chance to bond." K-Sha added on.
Noire sighed "You both are going to make me do this even if I say no...aren't you?" She asked.
"Yep." The other two girls chirped at her.
Noire groans "I figured as much." She says then walks off to make breakfast telling the two to stay as she'd make them something.
It was a few minutes in making breakfast that a still sleepy and groggy Nyx in her night clothes came walking in with a purple dragon plush in her arms "M-Morning..." Nyx says with a yawn.
K-Sha had to resist squealing at the cuteness while Neptune waved "Hey kiddo. Morning!" Neptune says as Nyx blinked a few times and saw the two other girls which she waves at before sitting down.
Noire comes out minutes later and serves everyone breakfast, and brings up the "idea" of traveling around Gamindustri to Nyx "That sounds amazing! I've been wanting to see the other nations, and even explore Planeptune a little more." Nyx says excited.
Noire smiled "That's good to hear Nyx. Best get prepared then." Noire tells her, and Nyx quickly finishes her breakfast, and runs off to pack to which K-Sha goes off to help her.
Now with just the two CPU's left Neptune looked to Noire and rubbed her head "I guess while we're here...we should talk about...that." Neptune says to her.
Noire nods knowing exactly what she meant "It's getting harder to maintain my processor units. I've gone through two different sets since we took down Kurome." Noire tells her.
"Yeah about the same for me, Vert has gone through a single set, and Blanc has gone through three." Neptune tells her.
"Historie have any clue what's causing this to happen?" Noire asked.
Neptune shrugs shaking her head "Nope. Histy's got nothing this time. Even she's stumped." She tells Noire.
"Well I hope she figures something out soon." Noire says hopeful. It was concerning for the CPU's processor units to be falling apart like they were, but it had been happening ever since the last battle with Dark Orange AKA Kurome and the return of Uzume.
"Do you think it has something to do with the NEXT form?" Noire asked as Neptune shrugs.
"No clue. Anywho you got a trip to take with your sister about to happen. You should prepare as well." Neptune suggested giving a small smile and wink.
Noire sighed "Right. I hear you Neptune. We'll be saving Planeptune for last though." She says.
Neptune pouts "Where would you be going first then?" She asked.
Noire tensed up which Neptune picked up on "Oh boy. Umm...good luck. Just make sure she doesn't try to steal your sister." Neptune says as Nyx and K-Sha return Nyx having a small suitcase packed.
"I'll get Histy on the issue again. She might find out something this time. After all third time's the charm." Neptune whispered before giggling and leaves.
Turning to K-Sha, Noire sighed "You already know my oracle will be in charge while I'm gone, but just in case do you think you can help her K-Sha?" Noire asked.
K-Sha nods smiling "I'd be happy to Noire. You just enjoy your little vacation with your little sister." She chirps, and Noire hugs her.
K-Sha turns red blushing "N-Noire." She squeaks.
"Thanks K-Sha. Your a real lifesaver." Noire says and pulls away before heading to her room to pack.
Nyx was excited as she'd get to see more of Gamindustri, and perhaps learn more about what it means to be a CPU. She'd also get more time with her big sister who she wanted to know more about.
"This will be so much fun!" She thought.
Nyx obtained VII's Academy Uniform.
Nyx obtained Re:Adventure Outfit.
Well then that's Episode 3, and I must say that it was a pretty nice filler, and the changes are probably for the better. I wanted Noire to start to realize things sooner, but that doesn't mean that she still won't be mourning. I also wanted to give Nyx some bonding time with K-Sha as she's Lastation's resident Gold Third, and I will likely include a few more Lastation specific Makers as time goes on. Also yes the trip is basically an excuse to have Noire and Nyx bond more, but there will be hiccups as things go, and with such a crazy cast things might get just as crazy if not more so.
