"Tony," Callie yells running through Stark Tower.
"What," Tony says, pulling away from his project in the lab. "Centre lab."
Callie hurries as she races over to see him and Rhodey working on some sort of suit amongst the two of them. "I have to tell you something and you are not going to like it one bit."
Tony and Rhodey turn and look at her before looking at each other. They can tell that something has her majorly spooked.
"Okay take a deep breath and tell us what is going on," Rhodey asks looking at the both of them.
"It's Grant," she says looking at them. "He got mixed up in some deep shit and for the most part is now on the straight and narrow. Well, sort of considering he is like a triple agent but nobody knows that."
Rhodey and Tony exchange a second look before both saying, "explain."
"Some guy managed to get him out of Juvie but staged a takeover and he had Grant thinking that Hydra was the answer to the world's problems. Now Grant thinks that he owes him for everything, but I manage to talk him off the Hydra game and onto Shield but now his team thinks he's Hydra. Now there is something about this guy creating super soldiers and they have this massive meeting in Miami, but they don't. Grant is a good guy and he thinks they are going to kill him."
"You're gonna have to give us a bit more," Rhodey says as he watches Tony start typing rapidly on his phone. "Do you know anything?"
"There at some company called CyberTek. The meeting is set up with some bigwigs from the military. His team thinks he betrayed them and he is all Hydra, but he is Shield that was tricked into thinking that Shield wasn't all it seems to be."
Maria Hill then walks into the lab and looks over at Tony. "You said that you wanted to see me?"
"Grant Ward," Tony asks looking at her as he begins to pull up maps. "J.A.R.V.I.S. plan route to CyberTek."
"Yes, sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. says before adding, "flight time should be 1 to 1.5 hours."
"Uh," Maria says looking at them confused.
"Tony, nobody has said that name since Callie was in high school," Pepper says as she enters the room behind Maria.
"Hill, how much danger is the kid in if what you know to be true," Tony says looking at her.
"A lot, basically years of working for Hydra, death of 5 middle-level agents and 2 high ranking ones, not to mention what he has gotten into since the last time I talked to him," Maria says looking at him. "What do you mean if what I know to be true?"
"Grant is loyal to the Starks, more specifically the youngest," Rhodey says looking over at Callie. "Any way to make sure he is not too badly hurt?"
"Shit," Maria says as she pulls out her phone and starts dialling as quickly as she can. "Pick up, pick up."
"How is Grant with Shield," Pepper asks, looking at the group.
"Somebody kidnapped him out of Juive and then attempted to brainwash his ass," Tony says as he begins to pack up a few things. "Ready?"
"When you are," Rhodey says as he and Tony walked over to their suits. "I want the rest of this story later."
"Hill, get a hold of whoever you need to make sure that he is not killed, any other surprises," Tony asks looking at Callie and Maria.
"Coulson and Fury are probably both there," Hill says, as she hears her phone click. "Hey sir, tell Coulson to stand down on Ward, he is loyal."
"Coulson is alive," Pepper and Tony ask as Callie looks at the floor.
"Yes sir, Stark and Rhodes are on their way and may end up being deadly if something happens to the young man," Hill says as she avoids the two. "Yes sir, I understand."
Rhodey shakes his head before grabbing Tony's shoulder, and saying, "We got to go."
"Deal with these two," Tony says to Pepper before he and Rhodey fly out.
