Another chapter up and ready let me know what you think and I hope you dont mind the re edits on this one

Once on the bus, Lincoln finds a seat with his friends quickly taking it just before the bus starts moving, amongst the friends Lincoln had there was Clyde McBride the first friend Lincoln knew since they were young, he was an African American boy who wore glasses, and a striped blue and yellow polo. He was also the neatest of the group, yet he still enjoys the company of Lincoln as well as the others.

Another one of Lincoln's friends was a kid with red messy curly hair, freckles covering his face from top to bottom, and sporting a green t-shirt named Rusty Spokes, who sometimes likes to think he is a ladies man and a smooth talker, in reality, he is no good at either. Sitting beside Rusty on the bus was Zach Gurdle, a boy with darker red hair split down the middle who wore glasses and a striped polo just like Clyde, however, Zach has more of a fascination with the supernatural like aliens or ghosts.

Then there was Liam Hunnicut the country bumpkin of the group, who sports red a bowl-cut hairdo, he simply wore a striped T-shirt and shorts. All he would often talk about in his life is what goes on his grandmother's farm. Finally, there was the sole female of the group as well as a recent member Stella Zhau a tall slender Filipino girl, with tan skin, freckles, black hair that curls up at the back end with two strands of hair standing out she loves observing inner workings of technology.

Lincoln sitting in a seat beside Clyde, Lincoln asks his friends " so how was everybody's summer vacation?" Most of the group respond how it was fine, with the exception of Rusty who presents to his friends a small thread of hair on his upper lip, explaining "you would not believe my luck, I have been given I grew this sweet new 'stache over the summer pretty cool right? I should be golden for the whole school year."

The rest unfortunately don't seem to take kindly to Rusty's single facial hair, Zach glaring at it comments "I would hardly call that a mustache" Liam getting a better look at Rusty's facial hair, says "it looks more like the fresh hey we feed Virginia every mornin', except its all red like" Rusty doesn't take kindly to their words "you guys are just jealous cause I was the first in the group to have any facial hair."

Lincoln changing the conversation says enthusiastically says "well hope you guys are looking forward to what's waiting for us?" His friends don't seem to have the same energy Lincoln does. Clyde frantically explains "Lincoln, we're fresh out of elementary school we'll be eaten alive!" Followed by Zach who adds in "we're going to be like fish in a piranha tank!" Then Liam finishes with "I've seen chicken stealin' coyotes that don't compare to folk we'll be dealing with!"

Despite the nervousness of his friends, Lincoln assures them that they'll survive explaining" guys you're losing your heads over nothing, we all came this far right? I'm sure by the time the fall starts we'll still be in one piece, after all, we're all going to be in the same awesome class right?" his friends somewhat agree with what he had said, "how do we even know if Mrs. Salter even has an awesome class?" Ask Stella skeptically.

"Are you kidding she rules!" Says Lynn, who was sitting in a seat in front of Lincoln and his friends, poking her head into their conversation as well as over her seat, assuring Stella of her brother's claim about Mrs. Salter. Then as soon as Lynn can give more advice on middle school, the bus stops to let in three punk-like-looking students who happen to be older than Lynn or Lincoln.

One of the teens tallest of the trio with short black hair stylized to match wearing a grey t-shirt, red shorts with vertical white stripes on each side, and black-white training shoes another had long wavy brown hair. She wears a black t-shirt, a white vest, red jeans short pants, brown stockings, and black boots and the last was the shortest of the three with short dark brown hair. He wears black round glasses, a white short-sleeved shirt with a collar, grey jeans, white socks, and brown shoes.

"Whoa actual teenagers with fancy clothing," says Liam "They look so cool" added Rusty, "I think those are eighth-graders," says Stella, they all stare in awe at what they considered majestic creatures, as they took their seat at the back of the bus. Lynn in concern says "I would be careful if I were you. Anderson, Taylor, and Pablo rarely socialize with people, especially kids a grade or two younger than them."

Rusty confidently says "I'm sure if we just talk things out man to...Teens, they would be putty in our hands" Lynn did not take kindly to his words "no one talks things out with them mop-top, not if you want to come out of this bus in one piece, my advice stay out of their way" she strictly explained, returning to her seat Clyde confirms his fears with the others, especially Lincoln explaining "see even Lynn knows we might possibly not last!"

Lincoln once again assures him of their survival with an arm around poor nervous Clyde's shoulder, explaining "of course we will, after all, we've been through a lot worse." Clyde calms down "I guess your right," says Clyde slowly letting down his defense. Lincoln afterward, assures all his friends they will be fine, while Lynn who is seen reading a sports magazine overhears her brother's little speech, quietly saying to herself "you'll be sorry."

As soon as the bus arrives at its destination, all the students walk out with Lincoln and his crew amongst them, as they take the first step towards the Middle school Lincoln starts to sing, while the others despite still worrying join him.

This is it middle school

And well make this day look easy

But we're not lit/We're not cool

And my stomach's feeling queazy

I don't think I can go through with it

Just take a deep breath and get a grip

Our strategy is tight our game is strong

We got this, we got this

We'll get through it all together

We got this, we got this

We're invincible forever

We're a team, we're a troop

We'll get through this day like a group

I've got your back I know that you've got mine

Trust me we'll be fine

Entering middle school, we see the hallways filled with students that were either menacing, wild, rebellious, smug, big or a mix of all of the above. Despite this, however, Lincoln still kept his head up high as the eyes in the hallway kept glaring at him. His friends start to sing about their worries and complaints, while Lincoln quells them easily.

Feeling impending doom

Don't forget we have each other

Wipe away all that gloom

Hey this machine just ate my dollar

Today's lunch: Egg Salad Pastrami

I miss fresh max sticks already

Guys, we can rule these hallways side by side

We got this, we got this

We'll get through it all together

We got this, we got this

We're invincible forever

We're a team, we're a troop

Linc are you sure we'll make it through

I've got your back I know that you've got mine

Trust me we'll be fine

We got this, we got this

Trust me we'll be fine

We got this, we got this

Trust me we'll be fine

By the time Lincoln finishes the song, the school bell starts to ring. Luckily they were all in the classroom assigned to them, so they head inside with Lincoln already looking forward to spending the whole day for what's in store for them.
