Spider-Man is now the hero of New York for taking down the Green Goblin, and saving Harry Osborn. Of course the Daily Bugle doesn't think that, but never judge a book by it's cover. Life as Spider-Man may be Top Notch, but life as Peter Parker may be kind of a drag. My iteration of Spectacular Spider-Man season 3, based on the actual plans for the series before it got canceled!

3. Short AN

A/N, I will not be publishing this weeks chapter of Spectacular Spider-Man: Honor Among Thieves, as the charging port for my laptop has stopped working, and I need to repair it. I'm also waiting on new parts for my pc that should arrive this Sunday. I'm really sorry because this chapter was supposed to start the actual plot, but on the bright side, this means that I can try to make the chapter a little bit longer.

I'm really sorry, but I'll try to make it so this won't happen very often. The next chapter of this fanfic should be arriving next Saturday, with probably no extensions. I've had to really multitask during this week with work, the new pc parts, laptop repairs, and making this, but I promise that this fanfic will not be discontinued any time soon.

As for usual chapter length, I'm hoping to add more words each chapter, and go from the lengths of chapter 1 and 2 (a little bit over 3100 words for both of them) to eventually 10K words and so on per chapter, but that'll be hard.

I won't be responding to every question in this author's note, but as for the non-spoiler ones:

Spectacular Webhead 11 (name change, I noticed), no, the Venom symbiote does no longer hate Peter's guts, but instead wants to try and apologize to its first host, as said in the text somewhere. And yeah, I knew that in the Ultimate comics and series the Venom symbiote was made from Peter's blood. Actually, on 2nd thought, that was only in the show. In the comics Peter and Eddie's parents worked on the Venom symbiote as a cure for cancer, and Richard Parker injected the venom symbiote with some of his blood to control it. That's why Venom in the Ultimate Universe keeps on trying to get to Peter. Because in a way, the Venom Symbiote and Peter are brothers, it needs to absorb Peter to be whole. That was the whole science behind the Carnage arc in ultimate. Venom absorbed the Carnage symbiote because it was made from Peter's DNA. If he absorbed Peter, he would be whole, but he couldn't do that, and Carnage made a perfect substitute because it was made using Peter's DNA.

Shing Ren: Yeah, it is scary af. Ghost Rider's feats are over all insane, especially Johnny Blaze, as he's the main Ghost Rider. Being blacklisted by him is terrifying. Your trying to escape from a dude who knows where you are at all times if you did something to deserve him chasing you. And at the same time, same dude has taken blows from the Hulk and got up fine before, also knowing that the dude will either sever you body parts one by one of burn you alive is wet spot in pants material.
