There are things out there that we probably didn't know exist out in the world. There are things we didn't know exist outside it as well. A meteor flew through the cosmos and was heading for Earth. As it burned in the planet's atmosphere, it crashed into the ground. What secrets could a mere rock from space carry?

Magnolia
Meanwhile, Natsu was doing a little work. He works for the local paper. He takes photos of himself and sells them to Weekly Source. The problem that his boss, Joseph Miller, has some issues.
"He's a menace that's what he is!" Joseph shouted. "Get me photos of him in the act!" He practically shouted Natsu out of the building. He had to leave the building for the good of his ears.
"Has he ever heard of anger management?" Natsu questioned as he tried to stop the ringing that was in his ears.
"Natsu! How's it going?" Natsu looked to see his old pal: Jellal.
"Hey, Jellal. My boss just gave me an earful." Natsu said. "I was trying to talk him into giving me a bit of a raise, while also trying to convince him that Salamander isn't a menace. He said he only would when I get him the proof that Salamander is the menace he says he is."
"Mr. Mailer is a stubborn man." Jellal said. "He's just a little distrustful towards him, but Salamander has proven to be a real hero. At least that's what I think."
"You would know." Natsu said. "By the way, how are things going at the academy?" Jellal attends a junior police academy. Seeing as how his father is the chief of police, Jellal wants to be a cop himself.
"Pretty good. I was actually on my way to the police station." Jellal said. "I was going to pay my dad a visit and get familiar with the place. You want to come? See how the place is like?"
"Sure. Sounds like it could be fun." Natsu said as the two of them headed for the station.

An Old Church
Salamander does his best to keep the city safe, but there's always trouble around. Magnolia is home to three gangs that love causing trouble, trying to prove that one is better than the others. One of them is a group known as the Oracion Seis. They're hideout is an old church, and they're trying to plan their next move.
"A bank heist!" Racer said.
"Won't work." Midnight said. "Salamander and the police would surely catch us."
"Maybe try something smaller. What about a jewelry store?" Angel asked. "I could use some. This face needs to be complemented with gold and shiny rocks."
"But that won't prove anything." Cobra said. "Grimoire Heart might be barely holding, but Sabertooth still has game. We've got to prove that we're the top dogs around here."
"Yes, but we need money." Hoteye said.
"All your schemes makes us look like novices." Brain said. "We're aiming to prove to END that we're the men he desires by his side."
"Hello, I'm a woman." Angel said.
"My point is that we need to commit some sort of crime that the police or Salamander won't be able to beat us in. Something they wouldn't expect." Brain said. "I believe I might know what we should do. We should strike the police station itself."
"You want us to go directly to the cops? Are you trying to get us to go behind bars?" Cobra said.
"Listen to my idea." Brain said. "If we can bring down the station, the city will be in chaos. It will be quite pleasing to END. On top of that, it holds a vault that contains weapons and such that was confiscated from other villains."
"I believe I see where you're going with this." Midnight said. "What exactly do you have in mind?" Brain is thinking of bringing down the authorities and commit chaos through the city. Will they even succeed?

The Police Station
Jellal took Natsu to the police station like he said. Natsu had a look around and was glad he was seeing the police at work.
"Less donuts than I thought." Natsu said.
"Don't worry. They have those occasionally." Jellal said. "My dad's office is just up ahead." The two of them kept moving and reached the office of Siegrain Fernandez, Jellal's father. "Hey, Dad."
"Jellal! Glad you made it." Siegrain said.
"I hope it's okay that I brought a friend of mine." Jellal said as he introduced Natsu. "I'm not sure if you remember Natsu Dragneel. He goes to Magnolia with a friend of mine."
"Nice to meet you, sir." Natsu said as he held out his hand.
"Likewise." Siegrain said as he shook hands. "Of course it's fine that your friend is here. You boys have a look around and get familiar with the place. Just be sure you don't interfere with police work."
"Thanks, Dad." Jellal said as the two of them had a look around. "As you can see, this is where the main investigation goes on. Have a look around." Natsu had a look around and saw some police officers at work.
"It must be cool having your father as the chief of this place." Natsu said. "Is your father a fan of Salamander?"
"He does appreciate the help." Jellal said. "Salamander really is helpful around the city, but that's just what my dad and I think. Just keep in mind that if Salamander does cross a line, my father will have to arrest him."
"And you're probably going to follow his lead one day." Natsu said. Jellal was happy for his father and all that he's done, but there was actually something he had on his mind that he felt that he had to get off his chest.
"Natsu, can I be honest with you about something?" Jellal asked.
"Yeah. What's up?" Natsu asked.
"To be perfectly honest, I'm not so sure that I want to be a cop anymore." Jellal said. Natsu was actually surprised to here Jellal say that.
"You don't?" Natsu said as he didn't quite get it.
"What I mean is that I want to be more." Jellal said. "I want to work with people like Salamander to keep the city safe."
"You mean you want to be a superhero?" Natsu questioned.
"Not exactly, but someone who works with them." Jellal said. "Personally, it seems like Salamander can do a lot more." Natsu was amazed by what Jellal was telling him. Before they could talk about it more, the lights were flickering and the computers had static on the screens. Everyone was wondering what was going on.
"What's happening?" Siegrain asked as he stepped out.
"I'm not sure, sir. Something is running interference with all our systems."
"Something must be up with the tower on top. Someone get up there and check it out." Siegrain said. "We can't act to emergencies if we don't have our systems working properly."
"I'll go see." Jellal said as he hurried to the roof. Natsu thought something strange was going on, but he can't look into it as himself. Jellal hurried up to the roof, but when he got to the door, it wouldn't open up. "What is this? This door isn't usually locked." He tried to get the door open but it won't. The reason for that is because Cobra, Racer, and Midnight managed to sneak on to the roof with Midnight hacking into the tower.
"Looks like they're on to us." Cobra said.
"Leave it." Midnight said. "We just need to buy the others a few minutes." Midnight used the computer to talk to the others. "Brain, we have the station's systems under our control. Hurry to the vault."
"Attacking the police station? Saves me the trouble of bringing you guys to them." All of them looked up on the roof entrance and saw that Salamander showed up.
"How are you everywhere?" Racer said with annoyance.
"I have my ways." Salamander said as he jumped down and slammed Racer against the ground. Cobra tried to hit him, but Natsu grabbed his arm and tossed him against the railing. Racer got back up and tried to hit him, but Natsu jumped up to avoid it. As he came down, he smashed his fist against Racer and knocked him down.
"Brain, hurry! Salamander is here!" Midnight said. That was all he said before Natsu tackled him and forced him to drop his computer. Natsu kept him down and tried getting answers.
"Spill it. Why are you here, and why haven't you learn that you can't beat me?" Natsu said.
"You don't give up. Why should we?" Midnight said. Cobra was able to get close enough to kick Salamander off him. Midnight reached for a pocket knife and tried to stab Natsu, but Natsu grabbed his arm and kicked him back. Natsu went at Cobra as he hit him across the face. Cobra tried to hit him back, but Natsu jumped over him and kicked Cobra in the back of his head to knock him down. Midnight tried stabbing him again, but Natsu jumped back and used both of his legs to kick him in the air. Natsu jumped and grabbed Midnight to slam him against the ceiling. With all three of them knocked out, Natsu walked over to the door and broke it open. Jellal stepped in and saw what happened.
"Salamander?" Jellal questioned his presence.
"That's me. Hold you don't mind a broken door." Natsu said.
"What's going on? Why is the Oracion Seis here?" Jellal said.
"They're after some sort of vault here." Natsu said.
"The vault?! That vault contains dangerous weapons and such that was confiscated!" Jellal said.
"Brain and the other two must be trying to get some!" Natsu said. "You try to get the system back! I'll stop those three! Mailer always wanted me in police custody." Natsu hurried inside as he tried to stop Brain and the others before they get those weapons.
...
Brain
"There it is." Brain said as he, Hoteye, and Angel stood in front of the vault. "Hurry before the system comes back on. Salamander is on his way as well." Hoteye was able to open the vault without the systems to keep it locked. As they got it open, they saw a variety of weapons and tech.
"Ooh! Look at the fancy new toys." Angel said.
"Yes. Everything here must certainly be worth a lot of money." Hoteye said.
"Freeze!" They looked to see Siegrain with a few of his men ready to stop them. "Don't even think of taking another step."
"Take your own advice." Angel said as she reached for a sphere. She pressed a button and tossed it at the police. All of them moved out of the way as it exploded like a bomb.
"Nicely done, Angel." Brain said.
"Didn't anyone tell you not to play with other people's toys without permission?" Natsu said as he made it just in time. He landed on Hoteye and pulled him back by the head as he forced him to back up.
"Unhand me!" Hoteye demanded.
"Sure." Natsu said as he jumped off him and hit him right in the face.
"Eat it, Salamander!" Angel said as she had a rocket launcher aimed right at him. She fired one at him, but he jumped and stuck to the ceiling to avoid it. It sailed through the hall until it hit the wall and caused an explosion. Natsu jumped at her and knocked the rocket launcher out of her hand. He kicked her back and knocked her to the floor.
"You should never play with dangerous toys." Natsu said.
"And you shouldn't have come here!" Hoteye said as he grabbed Natsu from behind and tried to hold him down.
"I like hugs, but not from you guys." Natsu said as he managed to bash his head against Hoteye's. He was able to get free and he drove his fist into Hoteye's face to knock him out. "Now for the big brain." Natsu hurried into the vault to stop Brain. When he got in there, he saw Brain taking a small metal box. "All these weapons and you go for the least scary option? Are you sure you're the smart one?"
"There's always more than what meets the eye." Brain said. That was right when Siegrain ran into the room.
"No! Put that down!" Siegrain said. Brain somehow managed to activate the device and it caused robotic gloves and armor to form around his arms.
"What the heck is that?" Natsu said.
"What I need to bring you down." Brain claimed. He smashed his fist against the ground. It generated a powerful shockwave that knocked the both of them back.
"Why would you have something like that in here? What are those things?" Natsu questioned Siegrain.
"A device created by crazy scientist. We apprehended him before he ever got to use it." Siegrain said.
"Let's see what else I can do." Brain said as he walked over to Salamander. Natsu knew that this was going to hurt. Brain hit him hard with the tech as he was sent flying through walls. He was blown outside and crashed into the street.
"Ow..." Natsu said. He may have been hit hard, but he was able to get back up. Brain followed after him and landed down on the street.
"Let's find out how tough you really are." Brain said. He went on the offense as he kept trying to land a hit, but Natsu kept jumping out of the way to stay out of his reach. "You can't leaping away forever."
"Seems like it did pretty well for me." Natsu said. As the two of them kept fighting, Jellal made his way down to the streets to try and help him out. As he made it, he saw Salamander was knocked into the wall. "I'm guessing he's more brawn than brain."
"Salamander, I think I know how you can beat him." Jellal said. "That tech he's wearing is from microscopic biotech that flow arounds the body."
"So?" Natsu questioned.
"If you can use electricity, you can stop the flow." Jellal said.
"What electricity?" Natsu questioned. "I make fire, not electricity." Brain came at them. They moved out of the way as he smashed a hole in the wall. Natsu looked around for electricity, but he didn't see a thing. "Your time is up." Brain seemed ready to finish him, but Jellal surprised him. He had a tasser on him and shoved it against Brain's armor. It shocked him and it disrupted the technology. Brain was able to resist it as he knocked Jellal back. "Big mistake." He looked ready to finish Jellal, but he noticed that the tech wasn't working.
"You're the one that made a big mistake." Natsu said. Brain turned to him as he was met with a punch to the face and was knocked out. That put this fight to an end. He looked up at Jellal and was grateful. "Thanks. You really helped me out."
"No problem." Jellal said. Natsu didn't stuck around as he jumped in the air and made it look like he left. This little experience has Jellal thinking.
"Jellal!" Siegrain called as he hurried out. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, Dad." Jellal said. "Where's Natsu?"
"Here I am." Natsu said as he came out after he changed back to his regular clothes.
"Where were you?" Jellal asked.
"Uh... Police regulation, civilians take cover..." Natsu lied.
"Right..." Jellal said as he thought Natsu was just scared.
"Well, I need to make sure everything is working well, but I'm glad to see both of you are safe." Siegrain said. "At least these guys save the trouble of us catching them." Siegrain went back to work and left the two boys alone.
"So... Have you thought about what you told me earlier after today?" Natsu asked.
"I have." Jellal said. "Salamander does more than the police. Look at what just happened here. That's why I want to be the kind of guy that can help people like him, help protect the city." Jellal is a good guy that just wants to help the city.
"Maybe you will." Natsu said as he believes that.
...
Meanwhile, scientists were investigating the crash sight of the meteor. They had a look around as they salvaged the rock. When one scientist grabbed a hold of it, black slime fell from it...and it actually moved on it's own.
